They’ve already jetted off for a tropical honeymoon getaway, and now Fergie’s mom is dishing details about her daughter’s wedding with actor Josh Duhamel.
“There were 350, 375 people were there,” Fergie’s proud mother, Terri Jackson, said during an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show, “and that was keeping it way down! So many people couldn’t bring a date unless they paid me money or something! It had to be someone you’re actually engaged to or something like that.”

Swag is one of the tackier aspects of celebrity. And that?s really saying something. It?s always aggravating to see wealthy famous people loading up on thousands of dollars worth of luxury goods, but it?s particularly annoying when the vast majority of the rest of the country is struggling to meet basic needs. That didn?t stop actress Vanessa Hudgens from stocking up on $12,000 worth of luxury items at the Golden Globes last night ? nor did it keep her from bragging about it, along with her giant new house.
Vanessa Hudgens has a unique recession strategy: Get as much as you can for free. The ?High School Musical? star hit the Golden Globes swag suites hard over the weekend, leaving her assistant to carry four ?overflowing? bags of freebies, totaling a whopping $12,000.
Hudgens overtook ?Access Hollywood?s? Stuff You Must … lounge suite, making sure to ?take something from every booth,? our witness said. Among the gratis goods were a one-year pass for her and a pal to a AMC Theatres, a BlackBerry Pearl, a coffee machine, a $4,000 diamond pendant, designer clutches, a year-long gym membership and more.
It was more than a little ironic when, during her spree, Hudgens commented on how overjoyed she was with the ?huge house I just bought.? We?re guessing it?s a little easier to fill a new home when you?re spending three hours in a gift lounge.

I?m surprised we didn?t see Vanessa?s assistant lugging home a nice couch from the swag sitting areas. Of course a lot of other celebs partook of the free merchandise. But Gatecrasher points out that many refuse, or at least are gracious enough to limit it to one or two items.
At the BAFTA/L.A. Tea Party, Clint Eastwood, nominated for ?The Changeling? and ?Gran Torino,? told us: ?I don?t want anything. I don?t want any gifts. [These] companies are trying to advertise, and they figure it?s low-cost advertising. They want to sell their product and help make the economy better, which is okay, but it?s not for me.?
Over at the HBO Luxury Lounge, Ricky Gervais picked up only a pair of shades from Solstice. ?Sunglasses are the only things I can bear to take from these lounges,? he said. ?I?m kind of like Elton John that way.”

Clint Eastwood has a point ? companies are trying to get free (or relatively inexpensive) press in exchange for getting celebs to use their products, so there certainly is a point to the whole thing beyond gratuitous excess. There?s just something about it that always seems so tacky to me, even when the economy is doing well. If there?s anyone who can afford expensive stuff, it?s celebrities. Some donate their items, which is definitely a more gracious way to go. But I do like the idea of just grabbing a pair of sunglasses or something similar as a nice compromise.

Alec Baldwin used to be a notorious drinker back in the day. In an essay in a new book about addiction called “Moments of Clarity,” by actor Christopher Kennedy Lawford, Baldwin admits that when he was starring on Knots Landing in 1984 and 1985, he was out of control. He spent most of his time drinking, drugging, and playing some video game called Galaga in an arcade warehouse. He?d even drink while he drove ? and it took him a while to realize his behavior wasn?t normal and other people weren?t doing the same thing.
Alec Baldwin was on the Santa Monica Freeway with a plastic quart cup filled with chardonnay and ice between his legs. “I’m driving down the road, I’m having a drink,” Baldwin recalled of that day in 1983. “It’s 4 o’clock; I’m supposed to have a drink. But one day I went, ‘I don’t see anybody else in their car with a plastic take out container filled with ice and wine. They’re drinking coffee, they’re drinking Diet Coke. They’re not drinking wine.’ ”
Baldwin writes of his booze-soaked, drug- addled 20s, and the various self-revelations that finally led him to clean up. The “30 Rock” star describes the worst times of his addiction as the ” ‘Sixth Sense’ phase” - “when you’re dead but you don’t know it.”
He’d find himself in places where “sex, drugs, booze” flowed freely. “The room was full of people getting high and drinking and talking about all this bulls- - -. All those 3 a.m. conversations where everybody’s talking, urgently talking about something that doesn’t really matter.? Baldwin would end the night at an arcade warehouse playing “Galaga.”
“I would play video games from, like, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and I would wind down. Then I’d go home and go to bed,” Baldwin writes. “This was the only way I could go ‘beta’ and go into that state I needed to be, where I could calm down and take my mind off everything. I didn’t want to see anybody, talk to anybody, deal with anybody.”

Baldwin?s ?moment of clarity? wasn?t as dramatic as you might think someone like him would need. It came when he saw the look on the face of the guy who ran the arcade. Apparently it was deep pity ? as Baldwin put it, “‘Wow, I’m glad I’m not you.’” A little over a month before his 27th birthday, Baldwin joined AA. And he quotes a man who told him, “‘You never have to feel this way again if you don’t want to.’” The stories he tells are vivid and sad, and it?s clear Baldwin really was living like the walking dead during that time.
He?s obviously come a long way since then, and although he’s not a man without his demons, Baldwin seems to be reflective and willing to admit where he?s gone wrong.

I would think for the Golden Globes celebrities would focus more on their whole ensemble rather than just their outfits. Not Drew Barrymore. She does her own thing. Here’s Drew rocking some big hair on the red carpet yesterday. It must have been a real pain in the ass to sit behind her and must have made staring at celebrities’ boobs extremely difficult. I’d punch right through her hair if she was sitting behind me, but I’d probably miss her head by about a good 5 feet.

Gwyneth Palrow is taking her commitment to promoting obsessive physical fitness to a dangerous new level. While she used to be happy just shoving her GOOP in our faces, now she?s planning on helping her equally obsessive trainer Tracy Anderson ? who also trains Madonna ? open a gym in New York City.
Gwyneth Paltrow helped her trainer Tracy Anderson find a studio space on Greenwich Street so that you too can have a body like hers?and Madonna?s. (Anderson has lived and traveled with the buff pop star for the last two years, keeping her in shape.) ?Gwyneth came to see every space, engaged in detailed discussion after each one,? says their broker, Prudential Douglas Elliman?s Anita Grossberg. Anderson?s workout combines dance aerobics and Pilates. ?When you walk into the studio it looks like a circus?bands and cubes and props are hanging from the ceiling,? Anderson said from South America, where she?s on the road with Madonna. ?When I started training Gwyneth, she couldn?t dance at all, and now you should see her.?

Tracy Anderson also has a studio in Los Angeles - which customers say is poorly maintained with filthy bathrooms. Anderson is not only a crazy trainer, but a terrible, scamming “businesswoman” too. She shafted hundreds of customers out of money for their pre-paid training fees in Fischers, Indiana.
“I was a client of Tracy Anderson Studios in Fishers also. Her program does work, but don’t believe everything that you hear about Tracy and her business. It is true that she did leave her clients in Fishers overnight…just took the machines and our money and left. She claims to have been a student at the Julliard School of Dance, but come to find out she was there for only 3 months and then left.”

Anderson also claimed she’d create personalized pilates regimens for different body types, which her customers paid for. It turns out the regimens were actually the same for everyone. In addition to the Julliard claims, Tracy also said she was in Cats and was Power Ranger, which was false. Ton of her jilted former clients have posted on Gabsmash’s forums complaining about her, and they all have a similar story to tell. I can only imagine what kind of trouble the woman plans to get into in New York.
In April Us Weekly did an article about Anderson, which included her diet recommendations. Many of the meal plans had a total of less than 800 calories a day, which is definitely dangerous. In addition, Anderson also recommended working out for two hours a day, six days a week. Yet Gwyneth is still a devotee. In her latest GOOP email, she says she used to have a “Shar-Pei-like stomach” until she met Tracy, who apparently changed her life.
Tracy Anderson is a scammer promoting an utterly insane, unhealthy, extreme, and unbalanced lifestyle. The thought of this woman launching another gym is terrifying. I can just see women fainting en masse. Who can safely survive on a lunch of two hardboiled eggs, a cup of baby carrots and a cup of cherry tomatoes? All we can do is hope this is just a pipe dream on Gwyneth and Tracy?s part ? though something tells me it isn?t.

Every Christmas, I have my small traditions. Stuff like making cookies from scratch and putting a red bow on the dog. Another one is a repeated viewing of Bridget Jones? Diary - people talk a lot of trash about the book and the movie, but I love it. It?s seriously one of Renee?s best performances. She used to be one of my favorites.
But over the past few years, Renee has had too many ?wtf?? moments, the most recent being her crazy-ugly dress, bad hair, bad make-up and slurred speech at the Golden Globes last night. Is it drugs? Is it alcoholism? Is it some combination of insanity and Botox?
Anyway, Renee is starting a round of publicity for on of her new films, and she?s talking marriage, career, and living arrangements. OK! magazine has details.
Although she admits that her past was a surprise to her, Rene Zellweger reveals in a new interview that she’s ready for the future.
?I never say never about anything, because I look back on my own personal history and it shocks me,” she tells Marie Claire in the February issue. “If I would ever have said, ?Oh for sure this is going to be in my future,? most of my experiences would not have been on my list. So I don?t even bother thinking about it, because I?ve learned that there?s no anticipating that stuff.?
As for that “single” status looming over her head, Rene seems to be just fine on her own these days.
?I?m not single, I?m busy. That?s my line,” she jokes, adding that her hectic schedule is enough for her right now. ?The thing is, I?m away all the time (she has farmhouse on Long Island undergoing perpetual renovation and an apartment in New York). I suppose if I sat still long enough to get to know somebody beyond a dinner date, maybe. But I don?t feel like my life is empty or that I have to make something happen.”
But even the Appaloosa star admits that fitting everything in could be a big task to tackle.
“I have projects to develop. I want to study American history and political science, live in an apartment in France, and fix my bad French. And is there really time for all of it? Last summer, when I said it wasn?t the right time for something I wanted to do, a friend asked, ?How long are you going to live?? ?

Sometimes there are those couples where you just know - that guy is going to leave her, or wow, she could really trade up. The Winehouse-Fielder-Civil marriage was always one of those, or so I thought. It seemed like one day Winehouse would wake up and realize that she could find a better man. That she would be the one to dump Blake Incarcerated/Parolled. Not so much, as it turns out. After getting her hooked on God knows what, Blake is the one who?s leaving, officially.
The jailed husband of singer Amy Winehouse has started divorce proceedings against her, PEOPLE has confirmed.
Blake Fielder-Civil has instructed a lawyer to file papers. “I can confirm that I have been instructed to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy’s adultery,” Henri Brandman told PEOPLE, confirming a statement he made to a Sunday tabloid in the U.K.
And Fielder-Civil’s mother Georgette adds that it was she who contacted Brandman on her son’s behalf last week. She says, “I am just so relieved it’s going to be all over.”
The couple have been through many ups and downs and it is the second time in six weeks that Fielder-Civil or those close to him have spoken about the split.
Mrs. Civil vows: “It will go through this time, it will go ahead.”
Winehouse’s rep in the U.K., Chris Goodman, had no comment.
The singer has spent recent weeks vacationing in St. Lucia ? often along side a hunky rugby player.

I tend to think that Winehouse ?left? first, even though it wasn?t official. She?s been going back and forth, trying to get her act together and then failing, over and over for months now. I truly hope that Blake filing the papers officially doesn?t send Winehouse into yet another downward spiral, but at this point, I don?t even think she needs an excuse. Colin Farrell is back on the A-list after his charming appearance and Best Actor-Comedy win at the Golden Globes. He?s been MIA through many of the past years in celebutainment, and it?s a welcome surprise that Farrell seems happier, healthier and all-around better at this place in time.
His win for In Bruges was surprising - even the nomination was a surprise, since the film came out in Feburary, and by Farrell?s own admission, kind of came and went with good reviews and a small box office. Farrell?s co-star, friend and co-nominee Brendan Gleeson was at the same table, and seemed genuinely thrilled with Farrell?s win. Even the epically morose Ralph Fiennes (co-star in In Bruges) broke into a smile when Farrell?s name was called, and Fiennes stood up to embrace Farrell.
First you shocked us, sniffling through your presenter’s script and then explaining, ?I still have a cold. It?s not the other thing it used to be.?
Then you made us shmoopy after your surprise win for your role in “In Bruges.” “I?ve never been so at peace with being ignored in my life. It?s seldom that you get a script that?s as simultaneously profound and beautifully comic and wonderfully painful, filled with delightful remorse, and, more than anything else, the sweetest, sweetest redemptive qualities. And that was ‘In Bruges’ for me. To work with [director Martin McDonagh] was a dream. And I love you.

I really liked that Colin admitted after he sniffled that ?It?s not the other thing it used to be.? It was a nice moment of shared realization of how crazy and addicted he was to drink and drugs, and how far he?s come. Colin looked good last night - a bit too thin, but I think the excuse is still that he lost a lot of weight for that Bosnian war film he did last year. As far as I could tell, Farrell didn?t bring his girlfriend Emma Forrest. His beautiful sister was his date, and she joined with his whole table in looking thrilled with her brother?s win.

Josh Duhamel still hasn’t received his prescription lenses from Costco. That’s the only reason I can think of for him marrying Fergie on Saturday.
The wedding was held at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu “under magnolia trees filled with thousands of white roses.” Juxtaposed with Fergie’s face, it made for an interesting ceremony.
The ceremony was followed by a reception in a tent decorated as a forest of trees, with the ceiling covered in lights.
Among the invited guests were new parents Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler, Kid Rock, Slash, Kate Hudson (Fergie’s costar in her upcoming movie Nine), the members of Black Eyed Peas including will.i.am, and Duhamel’s Las Vegas costars James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcil.
They have since left for their tropical honeymoon where Fergie is expected to devour Josh Duhamel’s head after procreating with him.

According to In Touch, Jamie Lynn Spears is going to marry her fiance, Casey Aldridge, and has picked out her gown and cake and even ordered the invitations. Earlier reports had Jamie Lynn kicking Casey out of their shared home and calling off the wedding after cheating allegations surfaced in the tabloids, which they denied. There were enough women who came forward to make it seem like Casey was fooling around, although the accusers could have been motivated by cash. It’s also hard to judge if this story about an imminent wedding is true as we often hear these type of wedding reports about celebrities and they turn out to be fabricated or premature:

It sounds kind of foolish to want to get married at 17 to keep a family together as a baby will bind Casey and Jamie Lynn for the rest of their lives whether they take that extra step or not. Getting married involves a lot of shared responsibilities and is a lifelong commitment that it doesn’t seem like they’re prepared for at such a young age. We’ll have to see if Jamie Lynn and Casey do make it official. If it happens for them, we’ll probably see the photos in OK! along with a syrupy sweet story about how wonderful and special their big day was.

I had no opinion of Ryan Seacrest for the longest time. I didn?t (and don?t) watch American Idol, and his helming of E! News wasn?t too bad. But then he was appointed to lead E!?s red carpet coverage on various awards nights and I grew to hate him. He is a horrible red carpet interviewer, even bordering on nasty and mean to some celebrities. He constantly forgets to ask who people are wearing, and he constantly manages to bring the line of questioning back to his favorite subject, himself.
This has not gone unnoticed by Brangelina. In a stunning public relations move, they utterly ignored Seacrest on the Golden Globes red carpet last night. As they walked past the E! box, Seacrest ran down the stairs and started screaming ?Brad! Angelina! Can you come talk?!?? He was like five feat away, and they totally ignored him. One of their bodyguards even nudged him away. I started giggling right away, and I?m so happy I wasn?t the only one who saw it.

I actually have a pretty good guess as to why The Brange ignored La Seacrest. At the 2007 Golden Globes, Seacrest interviewed them when Brad was nominated for Babel. Seacrest, per usual, was a big bitch to them during the interview. The next day, he even continued his tirade of abuse against The Brange on his radio show. Perhaps Brangelina didn?t want to engage in La Seacrest?s self-absorbed drama.

The big winner at the Golden Globes was Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire winning best dramatic picture and best director. And even though the Golden Globes website may have prematurely starred Anne Hathaway’s name, she didn’t win for best actress. That honor went to Kate Winslet for Revolutionary Road. Finally, Steven Spielberg received the Cecil B. DeMille Award. But, the real winner at yesterday’s awards was you the viewer because Salma Hayek showed up in an awesome dress that had her breasts spilling . This was one of the few times that I though 3-D TV would have been a really good idea.

The actresses will all get million dollar paychecks again, with star Sarah Jessica Parker potentially earning a staggering $30 to $50 million depending on how well the second installment performs. She’s said to have negotiated a deal for a percentage of the profits that could prove quite lucrative for her:

That’s a massive amount of money that hardly seems justified, but it’s not uncommon in the industry for stars to receive a cut of the earnings that amounts to tens of millions. Parker is a producer of the series along with being a star and if male stars like Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise can cash in like that, women should be able to do it too.
I wonder what kind of plot they’ll come up with for the second installment. There are enough characters and plenty of possibilities. I was incredibly disappointed with the end of the last SATC movie - it was an anti-ending which felt like a let down. It was like poor Carrie wasn’t a fashionable feminist after all, just a sad single woman willing to take what she can get. Maybe she’ll finally find romance on her own terms this time.

And to that I would credit the failure of the Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk comic book miniseries, in which Wolverine is contracted by Nick Fury to assassinate the Hulk between Ultimate X-Men issues 69 and 71 and before Ultimates 2 issue 11. There was supposed to be one new major Ultimate character introduced (rumor has it it was Ultimate She-Hulk), but after only two issues, the series was canked, thereby taking with it any chances for a Juggernaut vs. She-Hulk epic battle. So there you have it. And for the record, I did have sex with an actual man that one time, no matter what the guys in my Jedi Council forum might have told you. Trust them do not, for liars they are!

But for a Victoria’s Secret model, it’s all in a days work, and so is the dieting that goes with it.
Although she looked simply stunning at last year?s Victoria?s Secret Fashion Show, supermodel Karolina Kurkova has come under harsh criticism for her fuller-than-usual figure over recent months. The 24-year-old was unfairly blasted by the Brazilian media for her “cellulite and love handles” after walking in Sao Paulo Fashion Week in June, and was then harshly dubbed “too fat” by fashion critics following the lavish lingerie show in November.
Kurkova has told Tarts in the past that her diet is comprised mainly of fresh vegetables, salad and protein. But for several weeks leading up to last year?s Miami show, an inside source said that the supermodel cut carbs altogether, and worked out for hours in an effort to keep up with other super-slim Angels Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr and Marisa Miller.
“She was exhausted and didn?t get down to where she wanted to be,” said the pal.
Apparently her weight woes may have more to do with a medical condition than with just a lack of willpower. According to an insider, Kurkova joins the ranks of 27 million Americans who suffer from the thyroid disorder hypothyroidism, which interferes with the body’s metabolism.

Fox adds that Karolina was kept off of press materials leading up to the show, in case she didn’t shift the weight.
I can see that, from Victoria’s Secret point of view, Karolina needs to be looking slim and cellulite free in order to have inspirational appeal and sell the underwear. They want people to be talking about how great their knickers look, not how fat the models are. ‘Fat’ being a subjective term. A fat model is actually a skinny adolescent in the real world. However, Karolina looked anything but fat at last years show.
If it is indeed true that Karolina keeps to a strict diet and models while battling a thyroid condition, she should be given a medal. Or at least be made head angel.

Peter Andre broke some big news to The Sun, that him and his whole family are moving across the pond to LA.
The singer said: “We’ve told the kids we’re moving to Los Angeles, but I don’t think they really understand what that means.
“They’ve never been there before, so they don’t know what to expect, but I have no doubt that they are going to love it there.
“It’s so sunny and there’s so much for them to do.
“With the help of Kate’s mum Amy, we’ve found a great school for Harvey so he can continue with his learning.
“He’s going to love the fact that he can go swimming so much out there as well.”
They also added that Jordan wants to work on building her image here in America. It will be interesting to see if and how they will be accepted here in The States.

Martha Stewart has revealed her beauty secrets in her weekly “Ask Martha” column. Ever wonder how Martha Stewart gets that 1950’s housewife glow? It involves a lot of exercise, organization and personal care. Martha doesn’t mention how she maintained her fitness routine in the slammer under threats from gangs of lesbians taking over the prison gym for orgies.
1. SKIN CARE: Skin care is vital, and my routine includes a thorough cleansing every morning and night. Toners, enriching day and night creams, and serums keep my skin elastic and supple and glowing. Sunblocks, balms and skin healers are also necessary as preventive treatments.
2. GYM: My home gym is furnished with aerobic machines, weights and Cybex machines, and has a lovely view of the farm, a television so I can watch the news while running on the treadmill, and yoga equipment. The importance of aerobic exercise cannot be overemphasized. Aerobics keep weight down and stamina up.
3. MORNING JUICE: Every morning I drink about 8 ounces of what I call “green juice.” I use a juicer to make a blend of spinach, celery, cucumber, carrot and some fruit - pear, apple, pomegranate, plum, peach, a bit of orange peel and a small piece of ginger. The more of these ingredients that come from my organic garden, the better. I actually feel a jolt of energy when I imbibe these drinks.
4. CALENDAR: An organized calendar with every meeting, trip and appointment carefully listed and timed enables me to accomplish a lot each day. Each appointment is listed with phone numbers of all the principals. Addresses include cross streets so no time is wasted in finding a location.
5. WALKING: My favorite outdoor activity has always been hiking or walking. Good footwear, good socks and a jacket with pockets (for water and a cell phone) are crucial items of clothing.
6. EXERCISE: Weights are all-important for bone health and body toning, and yoga is essential for calming the mind and strengthening the body’s core. I love weights for arms and shoulders, and my Pilates ring for strengthening thighs, arms and chest. A yoga block, a ring and a yoga strap come with me wherever I go, so I can at least get a bit of a workout when I’m on the road.
7. WATER: I have three offices in addition to my home office. Alongside every one of my computers I keep a pitcher of mineral water infused with lemon, lime, orange, or cucumber and mint. I find that I drink more if the pitcher is there as a reminder.
8. HAIR CARE: Because I have my hair styled so often, I wash it almost every day. I use a variety of shampoos and conditioners to keep my hair from becoming dry or brittle. Sometimes I visit my colorist for a glossing, which seems to infuse my hair with a new vitality.
9. DAILY MAINTENANCE: Skin care is not the only daily routine one must adhere to. An electric toothbrush is essential for gum care and shiny white teeth, along with a good dental-care program (twice a year cleanings and checkups). Mouthwash and salt-water gargles are also helpful in keeping colds and sore throats from developing. Feet, hands, arms and legs should also be cared for.
10. RELAXATION: I do try to find some time, perhaps not every day but as often as possible, to curl up with a new book - often downloaded onto my Kindle - or to watch a movie. A great cup of tea or even a homemade cappuccino (one shot of espresso only) is an added perk and pleasure.

I’ve never noticed Martha Stewart looking particularly gorgeous, although I was surprised to find that she is 67. She might not ever look stunning, but she does look groomed and put-together. Being a housewife, I sometimes watch a bit of Martha on television, and wonder if I too could have perfectly organized drawers, a handy touch with ribbons, and live that general sort of lifestyle she’s professing. Then I sober up.
Martha adds, and this is probably the best of it, that catching up with friends and family is intrinsically important to our lives, since this is the ‘real reason we do what we do’. Martha is winning me over, in a way Gwyneth Paltrow and her pretentious Goop newsletter never could.

Do people really have strong feelings one way or the other about Fergie or Josh Duhamel? They seem pretty harmless, not really tabloidy, yet famous enough for People magazine to be breathless about their union. Apparently, I?m out of touch, and people really care about them, and care that they got married.
It sounds like it was a really nice, somewhat conservative wedding. The wedding took place at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu. Since it?s Malibu, I guess that means it was ocean-front, though this People article didn?t have those details. Is it weird that I only care about the scenery and the food? Anyway, there?s no mention of what they ate. They didn?t even release info about the cake!
In a white fantasy wedding, Fergie and Josh Duhamel were married Saturday under magnolia trees filled with thousands of white roses, PEOPLE confirms.
The Black Eyed Peas singer, 33, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana gown, and the actor, 36, tied the knot at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu.
Fergie carried a bouquet of white flowers studded with crystals as the couple exchanged H. Stern rings engraved with personal messages. Ten bridesmaids were dressed in contrasting black.
Fergie’s specially-designed engagement ring featured a 4-carat brilliant cut diamond set amid other diamonds. A narrowed diamond wedding band completed the set. Duhamel’s ring was made of white gold with a brushed finish.
The ceremony was followed by a reception in a tent decorated as a forest of trees, with the ceiling covered in lights.
Among the invited guests were new parents Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler, Kid Rock, Slash, Kate Hudson (Fergie’s costar in her upcoming movie Nine), the members of Black Eyed Peas including will.i.am, and Duhamel’s Las Vegas costars James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcil.
Also expected were Duhamel’s family, who flew in from his home state North Dakota. “His family are so excited,” says a friend of the couple. “They really love Fergie and are so happy to welcome her to the family.”
Fergie, aka Stacey Ferguson, who has been working out to prepare for her wedding, “has lost all the weight,” says a source. “She looked amazing.”
The wedding week kicked off Wednesday night with a joint bachelor-bachelorette party at the newly opened Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica, followed by a Hawaiian-themed rehearsal dinner on Friday.
“Josh is a great guy,” says Mario Lopez, who shared his first kiss with Fergie as kids and later became close friends with the singer. “They will be great together.”

?Hawaiian-themed? rehearsal dinner? Will somebody talk about the food, for the love of God? Hawaiian means lots of fish, right? But it sounds like they got a pretty good turnout for their nuptials, a nice mingling of family and famous friends. No scandals, no gratuitous drunken speeches, no fights, just a nice, average wedding. A little boring? A little ?meh?? Oh, well. They?re happy. I give it two years. Many congratulations to the happy couple.
