Stepping out for some errands, Jordana Brewster drove her Range Rover over to the Brentwood area of Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (June 5).
The ?Faculty? actress dropped her purse as she hopped out of her car, but quickly recovered and headed off on her way.
Jordana?s new flick ?Fast and Furious 6? has been killing it at the box office for the past couple of weekends, and she?s excited to see such franchise longevity.
Brewster told press, ?I think it kind of surprised everybody because it?s so rare that the sixth one is the most successful because the first one is usually the most successful and then it goes downhill from there. I think it?s a credit to [director] Justin Lin, who really reinvented the franchise. Universal knows that they can?t take advantage of their fans, as well as new elements that reinvigorate the franchise.?

On how scary Philip Seymour Hoffman is in real life:When I first met Phil, he was often the reader when I would go in to audition for something – the kind of actor that wasn’t going to get the part, but he was good, so they hired him to read with all the other guys auditioning. He was intimidating then, and he’s intimidating now. What a lot of people don’t know about him is that he’s a member of the Labyrinth Theater company here in New York, and is a truly phenomenal theatrical director. His production of THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT is one of the best evenings in the theatre I’ve ever spent.
On working with River Phoenix in Explorers:River was one of those people that had that strange magic glow around them; he could drive you crazy, or make you fall in love with him, sometimes in the same minute. I remember knowing he was special when in the first days of filming EXPLORERS – we were staying in a motel outside of San Francisco, and I saw him practicing his character’s walk in the parking lot one of the mornings before shooting began. Uncommon behavior for a 13-year old. He had a big, beautiful family, and was the first vegetarian I ever met.

If I could erase his bottom half bad movies, and only keep his top half movies, he would blow everyone else out of the water. He’s put a little too much water in his beer, but he is still one of the great actors of our time. And working with him was an absolute pleasure. In fact, one of my favorite scenes I’ve ever done is the last scene in LORD OF WAR.
On looking like Gordon Freeman from Half-Life and getting older:No, they haven’t, but I just looked at his picture and he looks a little bit creepy. Do I look that creepy? One of the things that sucks about getting older is that you start to look kind of creepy…
My solution to looking creepier as you get older is to wear the face of a younger man. Works like a charm.

On working with Melissa:
I've always wanted to do a female buddy film, the kind the guys get to do. This didn't have anything to do with getting a guy, and it didn't involve shoe shopping... I'd seen 'Bridesmaids,' and I said, 'If Melissa McCarthy wants to work with me...' The first week I was like, 'What is she doing? That's not in the script. ' I was the lone actor, jack-of-one-trade, in a room full of improv actors and stand-up comedians. I mean, you should just listen to the stuff that comes out of her mouth."
On what they have in common:
"Having kids connected us on a deeper level. And the things we're obsessed with outside of being a mom are the same, too: construction and house renovation... we're kindred spirits in that world. If we had a beer den, with Barcaloungers - but our version of that - it's be great."
On the paparazzi:
?We?re adults, and we?re fair game?not that I like being photographed going in and out of school in my sweatpants. But I instinctively throw things over Louis?s head?.He doesn?t like [the paparazzi]. He gives them the stink-eye, and they?re like, ?That?s such an angry kid,? but I look at them and say, ?Only when you guys are around??I don?t raise Louis in Hollywood. I raise him in my world. To me the good thing about living in L.A. is diversity in lifestyle choices, color, and religion. I want Louis to look around and see every color under the sun. I also have the luxury of splitting my time between L.A. and Austin.?

On her mothering style:
"It plagues me. I feel intensely guilty for working. You have to be able to provide for your kids. But I feel like it's a weird modern phenomenon that you always feel guilty for it."
On dealing with the paparazzi:
"Strangers should not be allowed to take a picture of your child and sell it for a profit. They think, 'We're putting out a product,' but you're putting out a child... Ben and I have absolutely nothing to with Hollywood that's all actors and the Sunset Strip. We crave talking to people who do different things and are passionate about it. We have some of the most rock-solid, lovely friends in the world."

These are photos from last night?s CMT Awards, yet another country music awards show. Since I don?t keep up with country music, I have to ask: is it just me or do they have like five country music awards shows within the span of two months?! At last night?s CMTs, Carrie Underwood won ?Video of the Year? while Miranda Lambert took home ?CMT performance of the year?. Miranda also won best female video while her husband Blake Shelton took Best Male Video. You can read more about the awards here.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were there, of course. And they looked loved up and I actually think Nicole?s face is looking less jacked than it looked at the Cannes Film Festival. Nicole?s inflating and deflating ?facial work? always makes me think that she?s making a conscious choice over and over, month by month, to get work done. Ugh. Nicole wore Christian Dior ? a nice enough LBD, kind of plain. Keith looked decent (for him) ? I just want him to button one more button and STOP WITH THE FLAT-IRON. Oh, would you like a better look at Nicole?s Dior shoes?

Yesterday, we talked about what happened on Angelina Jolie?s 38th birthday, which she celebrated in Berlin with her family. First, the whole family traveled to Berlin. Then Angelina and Brad went to the World War Z premiere and Angelina wore a fussy, button-y white dress. Then Angelina changed into a black frock and she and the whole family went out to eat at a sushi place. It turns out there was more to the birthday celebrations: Brad kept on celebrating until 2:30 am while Angelina got some birthday-girl sleep. Damn! Did Angelina not get any birthday booty?
Fresh from her breast cancer victory, Angelina Jolie was ready to celebrate her 38th birthday in a big way with Brad Pitt Tuesday night in Berlin ? and RadarOnline.com has all the details.
Angie started off the night on Brad?s arm at the premiere of World War Z. But the celebrations had already begun.
?We started off at 30,000 feet on the way over here,? Brad revealed to a reporter on the carpet. And in fact, the couple may have had a jet to themselves ? the family flew on two jets to the German capital.
After the red carpet, at 9 pm it was on to family time at the trendy Next to Kuchi ramen restaurant, where Brad had reserved an entire floor, an insider tells RadarOnline.com.
?Their security guards had told him about the restaurant,? the source explains.
Maddox, 11, Pax, 9, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and Vivienne and Knox, 4, all sampled healthy options like Koh-Samui Salad with papaya, peanuts and Thai herbs, Tofu Stirfry, sushi and chicken fried rice.
The family left around 10:30 pm ? leaving behind one of the twin?s blankies, which security picked up later, says the source. After dropping the kids off at the Hotel Adlon, Angie and Brad continued the party at the premiere?s after-party at the Soho House.
Angelina stayed just an hour, however, while Brad was seen rolling out solo at 2:30 am, according to the local BZ newspaper.
Perhaps sleeping off the night before, Brad was nowhere to be seen on Wednesday, when Angelina, Shiloh, Vivienne and Pax visited the Bauhaus Archive in the Tiergarten Park. The group spent more than two hours viewing the design collection, according to press secretary Ulrich Weigand, before heading out for lunch at the nearby Einstein Cafe.
Brad was spotted later in the afternoon on a helicopter tour of the city with Pro7 TV channel, while Angelina was on her way to the Schnefeld Airport with all of the kids.

So Angelina decided to leave the Soho House at 11:30 and Brad was all, ?Bye?? He didn?t even take her back to the hotel to give her a ?special birthday present? (hint: it?s his d–k in a box)? I mean, this isn?t some huge scandal. Brad had to schmooze and sell his movie and shake hands and have some drinks with business people, I suppose. ?Networking? I guess they call it. The 29-year-old songstress belted out "Mama's Broken Heart" to the energized crowd before returning to her seat next to hubby Blake Shelton.
Though she's nominated for four awards this year and Blake only nabbed one nod, he's not letting jealousy enter their marriage.
The "Voice" coach told MTV News, "You know, as long as one of us wins; people, when they walk in our house, they see some awards on the shelf, but they never really walk over and read 'em. So if they see one of her awards sitting there, they'll be like 'Oh, what did Miranda get a Grammy for?' And I'll say 'Oh, that's mine.' And they say 'Oh, that is yours.' I'll do the same thing with these CMT Awards. As long as it's on the shelf, and people don't actually read the plaque, that's mine."

As one of the biggest names in country music, it was no surprise that Taylor Swift showed up at the 2013 CMT Awards in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this evening (June 5).
The ?I Knew You Were Trouble" songstress got all gussied up and hit the red carpet outside the Bridgestone Arena to show off her posing prowess before heading inside.
As the night unfolds, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Luke Bryan & Ryan Tedder, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts & Journey, and Toby Keith will all battle it out for the Performance of the Year honors.
Meanwhile, the Group Video of the Year nominees include Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Pistol Annies, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, and Zac Brown Band.
