Karolina Kurkova was one of the ladies in Marchesa last night at the Met Gala. She was in this dusty blue tulle and white floral applique gown with little twinkle lights sewn into it which changed color based on the emotions of people responding on her social media accounts. It was unclear how this worked exactly. They were vague about it on E! when they covered her getting ready and when she tried to explain it in a video it made no sense. She couldn’t sit down because of the lights, and IBM worked on the technology. CNET has a description of how the dress works and it sounds like the plot to Inside Out. “There are five key emotions it will search for on social media: joy, passion, excitement, encouragement and curiosity. When it detects these emotions, the dress glows in real-time.” It’s a very twee gown, regardless. At least it was in keeping with the theme. I would have liked to see more gowns last night with actual technology features. Why did no one have some kind of led display built into their gown? At least hire some tech people to rig something up with raspberry pi.

Lending a helping hand to the car industry, Karolina Kurkova attended Art Basel in Miami Beach, Florida on Thursday (December 5).
While hosting the East Coast debut of the BMW i8 electric sports car, the former Victoria's Secret Angel rocked a few poses in a sexy Ferragamo dress as she presented the slick vehicle.
Earlier in the evening, Miss Kurkova took to her Facebook account and shared her thoughts about Nelson Mandela's death.
"RIP #NelsonMandela," Karolina wrote and attached a photo of one his famous quotes. "'... As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.'"

Taking care of her to-do list, Karolina Kurkova showed up in the trendy Tribeca neighborhood of New York City on Sunday (July 14).
Sporting a turquoise top with matching short shorts and strappy sandals, the gorgeous Czech model smiled as she glanced over at a few shutterbugs.
And while her lovely legs have scored her big points in her career field, Karolina confessed that she hated her appearance during her adolescent years.
Kurkova explained, ?I was taller than the boys. I wore pants because I didn't want to look at my legs. I drew a lot of attention, but not in a good way, and I had these big teeth, so I never smiled. I was uncomfortable with my body.?

Kicking off another busy day, Karolina Kurkova left her Manhattan hotel this morning (July 11) on her way to a modeling gig.
The 29-year-old Czech cutie opted for a colorless look with a black top, white trousers and strappy sandals as she carried her coffee up the sidewalk.
And while Karolina has one of the hottest modeling careers on the planet, she still makes sure to carve out time for family.
Ms. Kurkova, who moved from the Czech Republic to New York City when she 17 years old to pursue professional posing, is married to actor/producer Archie Drury with whom she has a three-year-old son named Tobin.

Supermodel Karolina Kurkova’s bright Pink lips were my favorite part of her whole ensemble at the Hope for Children Annual Gala. She kept the rest of her makeup sheer and radiant so that her lips were the focus of her face — the perfect execution of the bright Pink lip. A word to the wise though, if you’re looking to recreate her look, stick to the products I already found for you in the gallery above instead of trying to find it on the internet yourself. Suffice it to say google imaging “hot Pink lips” is something from which you never fully recover.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel donned all white in a long-sleeved button-down shirt, skinnies, and silver flats as she strolled about the city.
Always ready to share her beauty secrets with her fans, the 29-year-old model posted on her Facebook page an important summer reminder.
On Tuesday, Karolina wrote, "S U M M E R SKIN... Use SPF 30+. It not only protects, it make skin look younger. The skin has an incredible ability to heal itself once you start blocking UVA and UVB rays. You'll see an improvement in both texture and tone."

The Czech model smiled in a New York Giants cap, T-shirt, and green-and-blue-striped skirt as she smiled brightly for the cameras.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, earlier this week the 29-year-old beauty attended the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel wore a polka-dotted blouse, black jacket, and blue pants as she posed with a large black dog and a little girl holding a bunch of red balloons.
Though she often shares beauty tips for her audience via social media, the 29-year-old beauty shared a life lesson recently.
On Wednesday, Karolina posted on Facebook, "Stop Procrastinating . . .Start taking action and making changes. Putting something off makes it instantly harder and scarier. What we don't start today won't be finished by tomorrow. And there's nothing more stressful than knowing something is unfinished, and trying to find time for it!"
