| Britney Spears' lawyer accuses Jamie Spears of attempting to extort Britney | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

For years, I kept saying that something in the milk ain?t clean about the financials of Jamie Spears? management of his daughters fortune. For years, I said that I believed Jamie Spears had been skimming from Britney?s fortune. People always yelled at me that it was impossible, that the court was monitoring everything, that Jamie would never. Thirteen years later, and Britney?s new lawyer is basically confirming all of my theories about Jamie. Mathew Rosengart has already called for a comprehensive audit of Britney?s finances because he believes Jamie Spears has been taking her money for more than a decade. This is a huge reason why Jamie doesn?t want to step down as conservator too: not only will he not have access to Britney?s money anymore, an independent audit will reveal the extent of Jamie?s financial crimes. Speaking of, Rosengart claims Jamie is attempting to extort Britney for her nominal ?freedom.?
Britney Spears? lawyer is keeping up his blistering attacks on her father, accusing Jamie Spears of trying to ?extort? $2 million in payments in exchange for stepping down from her conservatorship.
The attorney, Mathew Rosengart, has been seeking since July to have Jamie Spears removed from his position of control over her finances. Earlier this month, Jamie Spears agreed that it would be best for him step down from the conservatorship, saying he did not want a public fight with his daughter. However, he did not provide a timetable for his resignation, and appeared to open the door to a negotiated resolution.
In a filing on Monday, Rosengart argued that Jamie Spears is seeking to use his leverage to compel his daughter?s estate to pay $1.3 million in attorneys? fees, $500,000 to Spears? former management company, as well as additional payments to Jamie Spears himself. Rosengart?s filing makes it clear that he has no interest in negotiating Jamie Spears? departure, and is looking instead to Judge Brenda Penny to order his removal at the next court hearing, on Sept. 29.
?The status quo is no longer tolerable, and Britney Spears will not be extorted,? Rosengart wrote. ?Mr. Spears?s blatant attempt to barter suspension and removal in exchange for approximately $2 million in payments, on top of the millions already reaped from Ms. Spears?s estate by Mr. Spears and his associates, is a non-starter.?
Rosengart had earlier accused Jamie Spears of enriching himself at the expense of his daughter?s estate, and of ?dissipating? her fortune. Jamie Spears has denied wrongdoing and defended his handling of her financial affairs.
?Having finally acknowledged that his time as Conservator should end, Mr. Spears is obligated to step down without condition and without seeking to extract anything further from his daughter,? Rosengart argued.
He has asked the court to appoint an accountant to replace Spears? father as the conservator of her estate.
[From Variety]
Again, while I have no doubt that Jamie Spears gets off on physically and emotionally controlling Britney, the biggest ?prize? of the conservatorship was always Jamie?s plundering of Britney?s fortune. I?m thinking back to Kevin Federline filing for an increase in child support payments in 2018 and basing the request on Britney?s increased income from her Vegas residency. Jamie was so mad and he tried to smear K-Fed ten different ways. K-Fed and his lawyer calmly asked the court for an audit of Britney?s recent finances and suddenly Jamie shut the hell up and negotiated everything quietly. Kevin ended up getting more than he asked for. That?s how badly Jamie wanted to avoid any kind of audit. All that to say, it doesn?t surprise me that Jamie is trying to extort Britney and get paid on his way out the door.

| Zoe Kravitz thinks Channing Tatum 'has depth both as an actor & a person' | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz are happening. For how long, no one knows. Channing and Zoe aren?t saying. They met last year because Zoe was starting to put together her first project as a director, P-ssy Island, and she wants Channing to star. He agreed to star in it and suddenly Zoe?s marriage to Karl Glusman was done and dusted. Very weird! So, yes, I believe Zoe and Channing have been happening for months and they?ve only recently gone public with their romance in a series of New York pap strolls. Now that their relationship is official (ish), People Magazine has sources talking about how much fun they?re having together:
Channing Tatum and Zo Kravitzs new romance is in full bloom. In this weeks issue, a source tells PEOPLE Tatum, 41 and Kravitz, 32, continue to be inseparable in New York City where they have been spotted enjoying low-key activities together.
They spent the weekend in N.Y.C., strolled around the city, met up with friends and visited the Guggenheim Museum, says the source. They looked very happy. They have this cute and flirty chemistry.
Personal reps for the actors have not commented on their relationship, but sources say they share a lot in common.
Zo thinks Channing has depth both as an actor and a person, says an industry source. Adds a Hollywood insider: Channing likes that she is independent and outspoken as well as bright.
Despite the fact that they both worked on the 2017 animated movie The Lego Batman Movie (Tatum voiced Clark Kent with Kravitz as Catwoman, who she is playing in the upcoming live-action The Batman opposite Robert Pattinson), the pair didnt officially connect until the High Fidelity star approached the Magic Mike actor to be in her directorial debut, P-ssy Island.
Kravitz recently finalized her divorce from actor Karl Glusman and Tatum shares daughter Everly, 8, with ex Jenna Dewan.
They both like to work and be busy, says the industry source. Channing especially has a full plate with work and his daughter. Zoe loves her work and has a diversity of talents as well. It is an interesting match.
[From People]
?Zo thinks Channing has depth both as an actor and a person? - I mean, for years, he had a reputation as kind of a meathead, but I agree that the Charming Potato absolutely has some depth. For one thing, he likes women who have their own careers and profiles and such. He?s not looking for a vapid trophy wife I bet he loves that Zoe has her own career and a lot of sh-t going on in her life. Anyway, while I believe Bennifer is the best celeb-couple to happen in years, I am enjoying Channing and Zoe. What?s their portmanteau? Zanning? Zoeing? Choe? Kratum?

| Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner fought about Legos during the pandemic | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Joe Jonas had a recent profile in WSJ. Magazine. He was promoting a variety of things, but mostly he just seemed chill and chatty. He married Sophie Turner in 2019 and they welcomed daughter Willa Jonas in July 2020. I don?t think we?ve seen Willa at all? No baby photos on either of their Instagrams, although their dogs are absolutely featured heavily on IG. Anyway, Joe chatted to WSJ. Magazine about his morning rituals, style advice and fighting with his wife as they were building Lego structures.
His mornings: He doesn?t have a strict wakeup time. He starts by meditating for at least three to five minutes, usually on the Headspace app, then works on his Italian with the Duolingo app. ?I?m learning Italian very slowly. I want to be able to get lost in the countryside; that?s my goal.? Next up is writing out his gratitude list, which he says can be as simple as, ?I?m grateful for the cup of coffee I?m making.? (Jonas characterizes himself as a coffee snob.) Then he listens to NPR?s daily news podcast Up First and takes a scroll through social media. After that, it?s time for his intensive exercise routine.
The best style advice he?s ever gotten: ?Don?t overthink it. I feel like it?s so easy to double-check, triple-check your outfit. Does it match enough, doesn?t match enough? If it feels good on you, you should just wear it. I accidentally wore a shirt inside-out onstage the other day, I didn?t know, and my friend?s like, ?I like it; it?s cool. It?s inside-out.? I was like, What? All that said, just go with the flow. Find your own identity and your own personal style and stick to that.?
Pandemic memories: ?I got very into Lego building. My wife and I probably built 10 monstrous Legos. It was also quite funny, because I was super focused on helping her but then I was getting easily distracted and playing Fortnite. At first we argued about it and then it was like, she loves her organization and it?s completely different from the way I would build it: ?You do you; I?ll be here for support.? So then I became moral support; I?ll make the cocktails for us. We built the Batmobile; we built Harry Potter [Wizarding] World.?
[From WSJ. Magazine]
Sophie was probably pregnant and she didn?t want to do anything but stay home and nest with the dogs and build some Lego structures. She was probably so annoyed that he kept wandering off to play Fortnite! I would be. I wonder if she did puzzles too. I bet she did. As for his mornings? he does a lot of strange stuff before he showers or leaves the house or goes to work. Duolingo, meditation, writing gratitudes, listening to a podcast? like, that would drive me crazy. Take a shower, brush your teeth, get moving. I bet Sophies mornings are much more structured. And does Joe not help with the baby at all in the mornings?!?

| Kylie Jenner 'used her savings' to start Kylie Cosmetics when she was 16 years old | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In 2018, Kylie Jenner covered Forbes Magazine to highlight the success of Kylie Cosmetics, the lipstick company which she started as a teenager in her mother?s kitchen. A year later, Forbes declared that Kylie was the ?youngest self-made billionaire in history? because of Kylie Cosmetics. Later, we learned that many of those Forbes hype pieces were made out of sugary PR and lies as Kris Jenner tried to make Kylie?s company more attractive to buyers. But by then, Kylie had already sold off a majority stake in her company to Coty for $600 million.
Throughout it all, people debated the ?self-made? label given to Kylie. Is she really self-made if she was a reality star since her tween years? Was she really self-made if her older sisters were mega-famous for years beforehand? Is she really self-made if she already had a built-in social media audience because of KUWTK? Well, Kylie and Kris always argued that Kylie was ?self-made? in the sense of ?she used her own money to start the company.? Which is true-ish. Kylie used her savings from appearing on KUWTK to start the company:
Kylie Jenner is a self-made billionaire for a reason. Momager Kris Jenner revealed that the 23-year-old beauty mogul was forced to use her own savings to launch Kylie Cosmetics in 2014.
?I said, ?Well Kylie, you have a savings that you?ve earned from doing ?KUWTK? for all these years,? Kris said in the first of a three-part series called ?Inside Kylie Cosmetics: The Beginning.?
??You?re gonna have to use your own money if you really want to make this work, because that?s gonna be your motivation and your drive,? Jenner, 65, said she told her daughter, who was 17 at the time.
Kris recalled when 16-year-old Kylie first discussed what would become Kylie Cosmetics. ?This is like a mother?s dream that somebody?s figured it out this young,? said Kris. ?She said, ?I want the be in the beauty business, and I know exactly what I want my product to be?.?
The YouTube mini-series comes amid a total overhaul in branding after Seed Beauty ? the incubator company responsible for launching Kylie Cosmetics as well as KKW Beauty ? sued new parent company, Coty, in June 2020 for stealing trade secrets. Jenner recently relaunched all of her products, switching to completely new, vegan formulas for not only her lip kits but also glosses, eyeshadows, blushes and more products. She also announced a forthcoming Kylie Baby brand in addition to her Kylie Skin offshoot.
[From Page Six]
I actually think Kris Jenner did give Kylie good advice if you want to start a company at that young age, use the money you have and it will give you ?skin in the game.? You?ll care more about what you?re trying to build and you?ll learn so much more along the way. But of course, there?s the conversation (yet again) about how much access, wealth, connections and willing investors Kylie already had as a 16-year-old! Self-made? Eh.

| Brie Larson opens up about trying not to be a people pleaser | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
These past 18 months have affected people in profound ways. I?ve discovered things about myself. Really mind-blowing stuff, too. I guess that?s what happens when you get trapped with your own thoughts for such an extended time. Brie Larson sounds like she went through a similar self-discovery. One thing she realized was she needed to stop being such a people pleaser. Brie was a guest on Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and she said that even before the lockdown, she realized she needed to curb her obsession with being perceived as nice and learn to confront situations when necessary. However, when Brie tried to describe where she is on that journey, it sounded like she?s still working more in theory than practice.
On learning to confront: The last year-and-a-half or two years, I feel like the universe has confronted me with the need to be able to confront [situations], and confront sooner, and just go, Eh. I dont like that. Ill find that, especially with smaller things, Ill just be like Its just not worth it. And now Im like, you know what?s not worth it? Being uncomfortable and then having resentment and then being weird to somebody forever. Thats not it. Why not just get it over with and say, [That's] not my preference.
On what made up her fear of confrontation: People please motivated mixed with I must be wrong. I dont want to look like a fool for saying something when Im obviously wrong. Its just my opinion. That cant be right.
On accepting things before she?s ready: Theres the intellectual part of me that?s like, yeah of course, love everybody, I get it. But then, like, do I really feel that? Because Ill find myself skipping ahead, like, Well, I know Im wrong, I know I shouldn?t have this resentment or I know I shouldnt feel this way so Im just gonna act like I dont. But it doesn?t really work. That?s just another way of us tricking ourselves into not confronting. We?re like, Im a nice person so Im just gonna be OK with them.
On making excuses not to confront people: One of the last times I had to confront somebody, I put it off for a year or maybe two because I had all these stories: Oh well they?re going through this, theyre going through that and I should be more caring, I should be more this. Then I had this moment where I was like, if we got rid of the stories, then you just confront something and you don?t have all the charge around it because the story isn?t there. So you can just say, Hey this felt kinda s****y or My feelings were hurt or I might be wrong but this is what I got from our last phone call and it made me feel this way. Instead of [having] all this stuff come up that has nothing to do with the simplicity of This is what I felt and being open to how they handle it, which sometimes isn?t good.
[From Yahoo!]
I?ve always liked Brie and I applaud anyone working on improving traits they wrestled with. I think it?s powerful she acknowledges she?s a people pleaser and that it has held her back in some ways. But I had trouble working through some of her answers. It sounds like shes still worried about saying the wrong thing. Which is fine, it?s a process. We didn?t develop these traits overnight; we won?t redefine in that time either. Take for example Bries comments about making up ?stories? about people and why she shouldn?t confront them. Either the person really is ?going through that? or you are making that excuse not to confront them. It?s not a story. But the other part of Brie?s comments about that are valuable. It took me a long time to say, ?I was hurt by your comment,? in a calm way. Since I have, it?s revolutionized my communication.
The article quoted Brie talking about being nice several times. Being perceived as nice is a strong motivator. I?m not a nice person. I?m reliable and supportive. I can be fun and I?ll show up when I?m needed in almost every way, so I think I fit the definition of kind. But I?m not nice nor am I warm or fuzzy and that has isolated me more than anything else. People want nice, even if it?s phony. So I understand Brie?s struggle to give up people pleasing and stand up for herself. And I understand her struggle to discuss it. Everything starts with the decision to do it, so Brie?s already got the biggest hurdle under her belt.
