Alec Baldwin accidentally killed Halyna Hutchins on October 21 last year. Alec was devastated and he canceled his future projects and made a big deal about how he would probably never work again or never want to work again. That only lasted a few months, of course. Now he?s back to work on back-to-back projects. But I knew, deep down in my soul, that his esposa Hilaria Baldwin would find some way to have another bebe. It was as predictable as can be, that Hilaria would need to get the attention back on her. Well, adivina qu.
The Baldwin bunch is growing! Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin are expecting their seventh baby together, PEOPLE confirms exclusively.
We have somos un buen equipo engraved on our wedding bands. We say that to each other all the time at home ? that were a good team, Hilaria and Alec tell PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling.
Our capacity to love continues to expand and we cant wait to embrace our new little one this fall! they added.
Hilaria, 38, shared the exciting news in an Instagram post Tuesday, where she posted a video of herself and Alec, 63, playing with their six children: daughters Mara Luca Victoria, 13 months, and Carmen Gabriela, 8, and sons Rafael Thomas, 6, Leonardo ngel Charles, 5, Romeo Alejandro David, 3, and Eduardo Edu Pao Lucas, 18 months.

Si, the youngest child is Maria Lucia Victoria, the longed-for second daughter for Hilaria, the one who arrived via carrier or surrogate. But Hilaria hasn?t been, how you say, embarazada since Eduardo in 2020. She loves being embarazada. She loves having a bebe in the house. Having Eduardo and Maria Lucia wasn?t enough. I wonder if she?ll try for an eighth if this one turns out to be a boy as well. As for Alec? dios mio, at least he?s barely around?

In October, Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of Rust. There has been a lot of back-and-forth about whether it was a prop gun misfire, or a real gun with a real bullet, and the investigation is still ongoing. Alec issued a statement soon after the shooting, he met with Hutchins? husband and son, and he?s cooperating with the authorities. For what it?s worth, I haven?t heard anything about Baldwin being charged with any crime. Most of the stories are about how the propmaster and armorer are at fault, and I would think the criminal charge would be criminal negligence. The Rust production was shut down and it will likely never restart. Baldwin has been taking time away from everything, but he decided to sit down with ABC News for an exclusive interview airing tonight. Here?s the promo:
The big headline is that Baldwin tells George Stephanopoulos that ?Well, the trigger wasn?t pulled. I didn?t pull the trigger? I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them ? never.? Meaning, it was reportedly a rehearsal and they were walking through the blocking of the scene, and Baldwin was holding the gun, but he didn?t pull the trigger. Meaning some kind of misfire or something wrong with the trigger of the gun. It wouldn?t surprise me.
Baldwin also pays tribute to Halyna as someone who was beloved and respected by everyone. Baldwin looks like he?s aged ten years in six weeks. His grief is palpable. Sure, he?s a great actor, but I do think he?s completely gutted.

Alec Baldwin will not stand for us being mean to his wife, you guys! Or his el wifa, I don?t know, I took French. Alec?s so tired of everyone calling Hilaria Baldwin out on her bs that he?s leaving Twitter, so he doesn?t have to listen to you anymore! Just because his wife misrepresented her entire upbringing doesn?t mean we had to make a big deal out it as if we don?t all turn our What I Did on my Summer Vacation into mythical backstories. So that?s it, Alec is out.
Alec Baldwin is going silent on Twitter.
After posting a message in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, the 62-year-old actor announced he would cease using the social media service for the foreseeable future.
Twitter is like a party where everyone is screaming. Not much of a party. Goodbye for now, he wrote.
Its not the first time the former 30 Rock star has quit the platform. In 2013, he deleted his account after lashing out at a British journalist who claimed his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, was tweeting during James Gandolfinis funeral.
His most recent departure from Twitter comes after Hilaria found herself at the center of recent controversy regarding her heritage.

We used to call these announced departure a ?flounce,? because they took on the cadence of a debutante stomping her foot and quitting a room in a huff after not getting her way. Alec posted this on Monday, what were we yelling about on Monday? Martin Luther King, Jr.? This week has had such a hint of hope to it, it?s been decidedly less shouty of late. Especially since you-know-who got kicked off ? ooh, maybe that?s it. Alec?s going method. To take his Trump impression to the next level, he has to ban himself from Twitter to see how it feels. Plus, Alec?s not leaving as much as just walking away from it since he?s not deleting his account or anything. And even then, Alec retweeted something the very next day. So we?ll see how long Alec can stay away from this party he hates so much.
Since President Biden asked us to play well together, I will say something nice: in the past, Alec would have gone full ham on everyone for daring to question any part of Hilaria?s story. He would have lashed out at anyone who dared question her. Although he?s back his wife and telling us to consider our sources, Alec?s response has been much milder than I would have anticipated ? not one death threat or voicemail that can be used against him in court. That?s growth, so good for him. I hope he takes the opportunity for some R&R. Maybe he could use the time to travel. I hear Spain is nice.

Hilaria Baldwin/Hillary Thomas lied about her background for years, faking a Spanish/pan-European accent and playing fast and loose with where she was born, how much time she spent in Spain during her childhood, and where her parents are from. Her background is very privileged her parents were wealthy American professionals who lived in a posh home in Boston. The family was so wealthy, they could vacation in Spain several times during Hillary?s childhood, and when her parents retired, they sold their Beacon Hill home and moved to Mallorca, Spain. That happened when Hillary was 28 years old. Hillary has already given one terrible interview to the NY Times where she tried to play off her grift as simply a misunderstanding which she could not get into because of ?boundaries.? LOL. And now this: the Baldwins? publicist was sent to Entertainment Tonight.
Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, are doing their best to deal with the recent uproar over her heritage.
A source tells ET that the couple and their family are very upset that Hilarias identity and background are being questioned, following social media claims that she has exaggerated her connection to Spain. The Baldwins are parents to five kids, Carmen, 7, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 4, Romeo, 2, and Eduardo, 3 months.
Hilaria is such a soft-spoken, kind, caring and loving person, and the harassment and hate that she has been receiving on social media has been a lot for her, the source says, adding that the controversy has deeply affected her and her family.
Alec has always known that Hilaria is from Boston, notes the source. Alec unconditionally supports and loves Hilaria in whatever she does and this situation has been no exception. They are focused on taking care of their small five children and being there for each other as a family.
While the source claims Alec always knew Hilaria was originally from Boston (she tweeted in 2012 that she was born in Boston), the actor said during David Lettermans late-night talk show in 2013 that his wife was from Spain. My wife is from Spain, Alec said at the time, impersonating his wife talking on the phone with an accent. I dont mean to be racist when I put that accent on, by the way.

I do think Alec knew that Hillary was lying, but I?m still very curious about when he discovered it. I feel like he probably bought her fake ?exoticism? and during their courtship, she put on a big show with the accent and Spanish references. But surely, the jig was up by their wedding? Like, as soon as he met her parents, I?m assuming her lies began to unravel? LOL. And imagine Hillary standing up there at St. Patrick?s Cathedral, with her parents in the pews, putting on that fake accent and waving her Spanish fan. Lolz. As for Hillary?s attempt to flip this around and act like she?s being victimized? I mean? come on. I?m not saying you should write sh-tty comments on Hillary?s Instagram, of course not. I hate that. But this woman is a delusional grifter who lied about her identity for years and she?s a compulsive social media oversharer, so it is what it is. The truth is, this woman isn?t sorry, and she?s going to continue to try to con her way out of repercussions and she?ll continue to exploit her children along the way.

I was slightly surprised to see the mental hoops some people were trying to jump to make Hilaria Baldwin?s story less offensive and less crazy. From all of the evidence we?ve seen, Hilaria grew up as a wealthy, privileged American woman in Boston, in a family with a long history in America. Her family took some vacations in Spain during her childhood, then when her parents retired from their work in Boston, they moved to Spain for their retirement years. That was the jumping off point for Hillary to change her name to Hilaria and create this bizarre persona as someone who was born and raised in Spain, who came to Massachusetts at 19 years old, and whose first language was Spanish. She faked a come-and-go thick Spanish accent and built an entire persona as a Spanish immigrant yoga studio owner, Instagram influencer and celebrity wife.
As for the celebrity she married, Alec Baldwin tried to come to his wife?s defense at the same time she was trying to ?clarify? her actual backstory. Here?s the long-ass Instagram Alec posted:

Alec Baldwin is currently a father to about a million babies. No, he and Hilaria Thomas-Baldwin have four children under the age of six: Carmen Gabriela, 5, Romeo Alejandro David, 10 months, Leonardo ngel Charles, 2, and Rafael Thomas, 3. Alec Baldwin is 60 years old. Hilaria is 35 years old. I?ve always thought it was somewhat irresponsible to have so many babies at Alec?s age. Like, I understood why Hilaria would want to cement her position as the new Mrs. Baldwin with a baby or two. But four babies in quick succession still seems like a giant mess. And of course Hilaria wants to have more! Their youngest isn?t even one year old, and you know she?s probably trying to get pregnant again. But I guess Alec is finally through, or at least that?s what he told People:
On his kids & who they prefer: ?My wife is the star. My kids, they love me, they think I?m great, and as soon as my wife walks in, they?re like, ?Okay, bye? and they?re gone? Alec has gotten ?in trouble? for talking about the help they have, and that trouble came from Hilaria. Hilaria seems to want to have the Instagram-perfect family and the Instagram-perfect (thirsty) yoga moves and I guess the four nannies don?t fit with that image. Anyway, as for what Alec says about ?being 85? when the kids graduate? I mean, when Carmen graduated from high school, he?ll be about 73 years old. When Leonardo graduates from high school, Alec will be 78. And yeah, it?s not the best.

For years now, I?ve talked openly about my mixed feelings about Alec Baldwin. On one side, I?ll probably always have some residual warmth for him because of my love for 30 Rock. On the other side, he?s an angry, violent douchebag. He?s physically assaulted several people, he?s emotionally abused his oldest daughter Ireland, and he just seems like a generally unpleasant person and a casual bigot and homophobe. So the headlines on Friday weren?t a shock: Alec Baldwin arrested, yet again, for another case of assault.
Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday afternoon for allegedly punching a man over a parking dispute in New York City, PEOPLE confirms. The 30 Rock actor, 60, was arrested at around 1:30 p.m. Friday after he allegedly punched a man on East 10th Street between University Place and Broadway, a New York City Police Department spokesperson tells PEOPLE.
The alleged victim, a 49-year-old male, was struck on the left side of the face and was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital, the spokesperson says. No additional details of the incident were available.

Baldwin was in police custody at the 6th Precinct, then he was released several hours later, after he was charged with assault and harassment, per the NYPD?s spokesperson. He returned to his Manhattan apartment. Shortly after he returned home on Friday, he tweeted this message:
Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today?s story. However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false. I wanted to go on the record stating as much. I realize that it has become a sport to tag people w as many negative negative charges and defaming allegations as possible for the purposes of clickbait entertainment. Fortunately, no matter how reverberating the echos, it doesn?t make the statements true.

So, the NYPD is like ?we charged him with assault and harassment? and Baldwin is like ?FAKE NEWS, they?re all liars, I WOULD NEVER.? Except that he has assaulted multiple people over the years, as I said. He has a very specific disdain for photojournalists, paparazzi and all journalists, really. Much like Donald Trump has a very specific disdain for those people too. So I actually wondered if this guy was some kind of paparazzo, but no, he?s not. Page Six ended up identifying Baldwin?s victim, a man named Wojciech Cieszkowski, who is a marathon runner who survived the 2013 Boston Bombing. The guy didn?t really know who Baldwin was, and he told Page Six that his face feels ?sore? but ?I?ll be fine.?
Meanwhile, after Baldwin?s latest arrest, several female journalists commiserated with each other about how Baldwin has always been the worst:

I hope Alec Baldwin has saved a lot of money over the years, because he?s going to be paying for diapers, binkies, shoes and private schools for a LONG time. Last week, Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin welcomed their FOURTH child together (and his fifth, including Ireland Baldwin). Hilaria and Alec?s oldest is daughter Carmen, and she turns five years old in August. They literally have four kids under the age of five in that house. So there?s Carmen (age 4), son Rafael (who turns 3 next month) and Leonardo Angel Charles, who is 2 years old.
Now there?s another boy? son Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin. I HATE it. I would have much preferred Alejandro for the kid?s first name. It?s a lot of fun to say and there are lots of nicknames for it. Romeo just sounds so? Beckham. You know? Like, cheeseball and ?90s. That being said, I do enjoy the fact that Hilaria throws in some Spanish names for her kids. If Alec had his way, I bet he would name them all Irish/Gaelic names or the kids would all be named after the Kennedys. But Hilaria asserts herself in there. Still, Alejandro should have been the first name.
Alec and Hilaria announced Romeo?s birth last Thursday (although I think he was born on Wednesday, May 16th). Hilaria is tiny and she barely gains any weight during her pregnancies, so imagine my surprise that little Romeo was 8lbs 2 ounces when he was born. YIKES. And you know she?s probably giving birth vaginally for all of them too. Double yikes. Anyway, Alec is now 60 years old and Hilaria claims to be 34 years old. Do you think they?ll stop now? Please let them stop now.

You sort of have to hand it to Alec Baldwin – he?s an intelligent, charming man who manages to piss of nearly everyone around him. He?s a brilliant actor who has burned many bridges throughout his career simply because he ran his mouth off when he shouldn?t have. There?s something deeply contrarian about Alec – no matter how many times he has been advised to simply stay quiet and let the dust settle, Alec will literally barge in, uninvited, to mouth off yet again. It?s become a parody at this point – Alec says something deeply offensive, he gives a half-assed apology and promises to stay off Twitter, then after a few days he?s back at it again with tweets and ill-timed words, like a thirsty itch that needs to be scratched, always in the public sphere.
Anyway, Alec Baldwin has said words in defense of Woody Allen before. Baldwin has worked with Woody a few times, memorably in Blue Jasmine and not-so-memorably in To Rome with Love. As I keep saying, Woody Allen no longer has a constituency in Hollywood. That shifted a few years ago and now, in the current age of heightened awareness around abuse and abusers, major stars are disavowing Woody right and left with no repercussions. In fact, disavowing Woody will garner you better headlines than just keeping your mouth shut. But Alec Baldwin?s contrarian nature needed to scratch that itch. So he tweeted this on Tuesday:
Woody Allen was investigated forensically by two states (NY and CT) and no charges were filed. The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt, has some purpose. But it?s unfair and sad to me. I worked w WA 3 times and it was one of the privileges of my career.
WA?s talent has nothing to do with it.
This is a charge that was investigated aggressively and resulted in…nothing. What would it take for you to at least consider that he is telling the truth?
Is it possible to support survivors of pedophilia and sexual assault/abuse and also believe that WA is innocent? I think so.
The intention is not to dismiss or ignore such complaints. But accusing ppl of such crimes should be treated carefully. On behalf of the victims, as well.

Baldwin also retweeted some stuff about and from Moses Farrow, brother to Ronan and Dylan Farrow, who always claimed that Woody was innocent and that Mia Farrow was the abusive parent. The retweets raise an interesting point too – if we believe that Dylan Farrow is a victim of abuse, should we believe Moses? story as well?
All that being said, for me the ?no charges were filed? argument will always fall flat about any accused predator. One of the reasons why #MeToo has gained so much traction is because so many women correctly feel that the legal system was not built to protect us, and that all too often, the legal system fails us in our most desperate moments. I don?t need to see Harvey Weinstein formally charged with a crime to KNOW that he is a rapist and a predator. Perhaps the better argument for Alec is the one he makes about Moses – we should believe victims when they tell their stories. Believe Dylan. But believe Moses Farrow too, and try to understand what happened to both of them.
