Well, this shocked me. I thought Gisele Bundchen was probably done with having babies, but no, she is not done. Gisele is pregnant with her third child, her first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente. Gisele has been seeing Joaquim for over two years by my calculations he started out as her friend and jiu-jitsu instructor, then it blossomed into a relationship. Joaquim is, to my knowledge, the only person Gisele has dated since her divorce from Tom Brady.
Gisele Bndchen is pregnant! The model, 44, and boyfriend Joaquim Valente, 35, are expecting their first baby together, Bndchens third, a source close to Bndchen confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday, Oct. 28.
Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and theyre looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family, the source tells PEOPLE in a statement.
Bndchen has been dating the Jiu-Jitsu instructor since June 2023. Their baby will join Bndchens son Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11, who she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady.
Bndchen, who served as a Victorias Secret Angel from 1999 until 2006, was notably absent from the 2024 Victorias Secret Fashion Show held on Oct. 15, despite a variety of past Angels returns.
Bndchen and Valente were first spotted together in November 2022, when the pair visited Provincia de Puntarenas (a province located on Costa Ricas coast) with her two kids. After originally denying a romantic relationship with her trainer, a love connection later blossomed between the pair, and in February 2024, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Bndchen and Valente have been dating since June 2023.

I think the point of it was her new sponsorship she?s the Wellness Ambassador for Gaia Herbs, so much of the conversation is about wellness and how she?s very centered and healthy one year after her divorce from Tom Brady. Gisele moved on quickly, probably because the divorce was her idea. She and Tom worked out everything very quickly and quietly with a private judge and Gisele has never looked back. She talks about that and more with People Magazine, plus she brags about her alcohol-free and caffeine-free lifestyle. I?ve been alcohol-free for many years, but I would truly die if I tried to go caffeine-free. Some highlights:
Homeschooling her kids for several years: With the pandemic, Bndchen transitioned to homeschooling her son Ben, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, with ex-husband, retired football icon Tom Brady. She also dealt with uprooting the family to move to Tampa Bay, Fla., for Brady?s final seasons of football before settling down in Miami after finalizing their divorce last October. In the background, she was also privately dealing with two ailing parents. ?Its been very tough on my family. Its been a lot ? in every area of my life,? she says. ?I feel like whenever it rains, it pours. With all the different twists and turns that life takes, all we can do is the best we can given what happens in our surroundings.?
Giving up alcohol: ?Right after I turned 40, actually, I felt a huge difference between when I had the glass of wine and when I didnt have the glass of wine. Its socially accepted to have a glass of wine. And people even say, ?Oh, its healthy for you.? Well, it is not healthy for me. If you want to ask of your body what I ask of my body, which is a lot, I cant be having all these things (alcohol, caffeine) because they add up? I became more clear [after I stopped]. I felt a bit more foggy before. Now Im very sharp and very present and I notice things that I didnt notice before. When Im not drinking, Im sleeping much better. You have to be loving to yourself. You ask a lot of your body, you?ve got to do a reset. You have got to take care of this only vehicle you got, right??
The importance of self-care: ?No one is going to do it for you. The only person thats going to make those choices is you. Because ultimately, youre the first person whos going to be impacted by it. But then, its your children, its your husband, its your family. You got to put the oxygen mask on you first?. Its not a selfish thing. People have been teaching us that its selfish if you take care of you. How is that selfish? When you feel good, youre a better mom, youre a better friend, youre calmer, youre more patient, youre more loving, youre more grounded. So you cant feel guilty about prioritizing yourself. Because thats loving you and loving the people you love the most, which are going to be impacted by how well you are. Because if youre sick, everyones hurts.
Her kids are enrolled in school in Miami now: ?Theyre getting to know friends in school. They like it. It?s just all new. But theyre really liking it and theyre getting into their things,? Bndchen says. Vivi, 10, has joined the school swim team and Benny, 13, has been playing football for the first time. (He?s No. 12, just like his dad.) ?He just started. I just feel so proud of them. Theyre so loving. Theyre growing up to be just so thoughtful and considerate of others.?
Vivi is into horse jumping. ?Shes like, ?Mom, Im going to be a professional horseback rider.? Thats all she wants to do. When I was getting into it, people were like, ?Gisele, get out while you can.? I was like, ?I dont think I can get out. Shes obsessed.' Bndchen recently purchased a horse farm where Vivi can ride her horse, Item, in privacy, but she says she puts her foot down when her daughter asks for another. ?Now shes already trying to get other horses. shes already like, ?Mom. There?s a huge horse culture in Florida though, a whole competitive jumper/rider community where professionals train together and have affairs and such. Just ask Athina Onassis. As for the drinking thing she?s right about not feeling foggy, and once you stop drinking completely, you realize how often you?ve been operating with a lowkey hangover and how often your sleep cycles have been affected by alcohol. There?s a period of adjustment too, where you?re like ?wait, how am I supposed to get to sleep without a nightcap?? You?d be surprised by how quickly your body adjusts though.

Was it also kind of snooze? Yeah. But she looked fine, albeit a little bit ?worked on,? you know? Sis got some post-split cosmetic work.

Anok Yai in Prabal Gurung truly one of the best looks of the night. This was gorgeous and a great interpretation of the theme.

Last November, a number of celebrities became entangled in the imploding cryptocurrency debacle. Crypto markets crashed, and celebrity endorsers of various cryptocurrencies, like FTX, are being sued. FTX was one of the biggest implosions and it had tons of celebrity endorsers, including Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. Coincidentally, as soon as the crypto market began to falter, suddenly Tom and Gisele had a quickie divorce and Gisele started taking a lot of vacations to Costa Rica. TikToks were made to explain that specific issue, with a catch-all conspiracy that Tom and Gisele were actually hiding and protecting their assets rather than divorcing because of Tom?s football career. I still don?t know, but I suspect that Tom and Gisele had many problems and FTX was one of them. Speaking of, reportedly Tom dumped $84 million into FTX. Yiiiikes.
Advisors to Tom Brady and Gisele Bndchen werent able to spot any issues with FTXs underlying financials before the celebrity couple piled cash into the now-bankrupt crypto exchange, the Financial Times has reported. The then-couple spent over $84 million buying 1.8 million shares in Sam Bankman-Frieds crypto empire after their team found no issues with its financial documentation, according to the report Tuesday.
Brady and Bndchens team were extremely diligent and saw what they believed were legit financials, an unidentified former FTX employee told the FT.
People wanted shares. There was some FOMO, but people always saw financials, the source said.
Owners of FTX shares, including NFL star Brady and international supermodel Bndchen, lost all their investment due to the bankruptcy proceedings. That led to potential major losses for both NFL star Brady and international supermodel Bndchen. The former couple, who divorced in October after 13 years of marriage, both promoted the crypto group.
Brady owned 1.1 million shares in his own name and was a high-profile brand ambassador, even appearing in three commercials for FTX. Bndchen held another 700,000 shares, appeared in one of those ads, and promoted the exchange in an April 2022 edition of Vogue where she discussed Crypto, Collaboration, And Helping FTX Donate Billions.
The true extent of the couples losses is unknown because FTX was a private company, but Forbes previously estimated that Bradys stake was worth as much as $45 million.

Anyway, Gisele?s real estate moves are kind of interesting, although I?m disappointed that she isn?t really moving into a smallish beach cottage and simplifying her life. It was rumored that, in their divorce, Tom got the billionaire?s bunker house and Gisele got the New York apartment. I wonder if Tom will buy a New York apartment across the hall from Gisele?
