They are both extremely successful music artistsso it only makes sense that Rihanna and Eminem join forces to shoot a video for their hit song, ?Love the Way You Lie.?
Music director Joseph Kahn confirmed the news via Twitter and wrote, "Got off a call. Emergency music video. Gonna write and turn in a treatment in three hours to shoot asap.?
He continued, "Video is gonna happen. Lots of work to do now. Did I say three hours? I f---ing lied. Finished and sent. 45 minutes. FTW. Video is awarded. Starts shooting Tuesday. Eminem & Rihanna. Off we go!"
Of the instantly popular song, Rihanna said, "It's really beautiful, and it really stands out. It's a really unique record. I'm really excited about it."

Having first hooked up at Coachella in April, Matt previously said of the coupledom, "Kate is great. We have tried to keep things private so we haven?t told anyone how we met or any details like that. We are just doing our thing."

Back in May, Katy Perry jokingly (?) compared her relationship with Russell Brand to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. While I would personally enjoy having another tabloid-friendly couple around to write about and analyze endlessly, I don?t think Brand and Perry are it. But they?re trying! According to the NYDN, Perry and Brand?s relationship has all kinds of drama - self-perpetuating, of course.
For a couple reportedly set to marry this fall, Katy Perry and Russell Brand spend an awful lot of time bickering like a husband and wife on the verge of divorce. The Betty Page-style pop diva and the arse-waggling “Arthur” star sure look good in photos, but friends of Perry say the celebrity couple tangle more easily than Brand?s disheveled hair.
“They fight and make-up constantly,” says a friend of Perry, who observes that the couple have behaved this way since the beginning of their relationship.
Last September, when the press first got wind that the celebs were dating, Perry brought Brand as her date to the wedding of her friend, model Janelle Fishman in Brooklyn. And that?s where, another insider says, friends of the singer first began to suspect that Brand and Perry would “not work out.”
At the reception, Brand, a former sex and heroin addict as well as a recovering alcoholic who?s been sober for seven years, frowned upon Perry?s hard-partying ways. “[Russell] got angry with Katy because he thought she had drank too much” that night, says the insider. Perry “ended up staying with a friend who has a place in N.Y.C.” Brand “went back to the couple?s hotel room alone.”
Meanwhile, Perry has issues with Brand as well, particularly when it comes to her beau?s rep as a comic Casanova. (The British tabloid The Sun awarded Brand its “Shagger of the Year Award” for so many consecutive years ? 2006 through 2008 ? that it eventually retitled the honor in his name.)
“There have always been fights about other women ? despite Russell talking about how much he loves Katy all the time,” says the insider.
One of those quarrels took place shortly before last month?s 2010 MTV Movie Awards, where Perry performed and Brand was a presenter.
“Katy suspected [Russell] of cheating and it wasn?t the first time,” says the insider, who adds that, because of the tiff, Perry and Brand arrived at the event separately and sat separately ? Brand, next to his “Get Him To The Greek” co-star Jonah Hill. But shortly after the show, Brand and Perry were hand-in-hand at the awards-show after-party at L.A.?s Las Palmas nightclub.
“It?s a cycle,” Katy?s friend says of the “Hot and Cold” couple.
Representatives for Brand and Perry did not respond to requests for comment.

Two weekends ago, CB and I went to see Get Him To The Greek (which was a lot better than I was expecting). There was one line in particular that I thought was probably very close to who Russell is in real life. His character was sober and off drugs for several years, and in that time he had a seemingly stable relationship with his girlfriend (played by Rose Byrne, in a scene-stealing performance) and he did yoga every day for five hours. Byrne?s character tells him - after they?re broken up and she?s yelling at him - that he ?could turn anything into heroin?. Meaning that once he got off drugs, he turned being sober, and yoga, and their relationship into his addiction. Now I?m wondering - what is Brand - a former drug addict - addicted to now? It used to be girls - just shagging everyone with a pulse. Is it Katy now? Or is it the drama that this relationship brings? Is Russell capable of stability?

Lindsay Lohan’s new lawyer claims she has come to terms with the consequences of her actions and accepted the fact that she’ll go to jail tomorrow. Star Magazine says:
Lindsay Lohan’s new attorney Robert Shapiro says the troubled actress will be serving jail time ? no question about it!
“I have agreed to represent Ms. Lohan on the condition that she complies with all of the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time that was imposed by Judge Marsha Revel,” Shapiro told Star in a statement on Friday.
“Ms. Lohan is suffering from a disease that I am all too familiar with,” the lawyer, who lost his son Brent to a drug overdose in 2005. “Hopefully, I can be of assistance to Ms. Lohan and Judge Revel in implementing a treatment approach recommended by medical professionals for Ms. Lohan’s long term recovery and sobriety.”
But maybe Robby should’ve run that by Lindsay, because it seems she’s not on the same page. Or the even same book, for that matter. According to TMZ:
People who are interacting with Lindsay [say that] she has been in obsessive denial over her surrender Tuesday, when she must begin serving a 90-day jail sentence.
Lindsay is convinced there is still a way she can avoid jail, even though Shapiro made it clear he would only rep her if she went to the pokey.
Here’s the irony — Lindsay expects Shapiro to [get] the judge to overlook her past screw-ups and keep her a free woman.
We’re told the reason it took so long to find a new lawyer is because Lindsay only wanted someone who could keep her out of jail, but no credible lawyer would make that promise.
If Shapiro’s not going to file an appeal, then what was the point of hiring him in the first place? You don’t need a lawyer to go to jail. All you need is a flair for compulsory bowel evacuation and the ability to do math in cigarettes.

Living it up in the Caribbean, Katy Perry was spotted flaunting her curvaceous bikini body while out in the Bahamas on Sunday (July 18).
Clad in a cute little two-piece swimsuit, the "Hot n Cold" singer seemed to be having a marvelous time with friends as they hit the water slides at The Cove at the Atlantis Resort.
The fun in the sun follows a performance at the popular vacation destination the previous night, as Miss Perry took the stage at for the opening of Cain at The Cove and AURA.
Having flown into town on Friday alongside her brother, Miss Perry happily tweeted of the trip, "BERMUDA, BAHAMAS, CUMMON BABY MAMA!"

Bringing an end to the weekend, Halle Berry was busy taking daughter Nahla Aubry out for a day of fun in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (July 18).
Showing off a stylish new hairdo, the Oscar winning actress held hands with her adorable little one as they arrived for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus to check out the elephants, clowns and aerialists.
The sighting comes just as it has been reported that Miss Berry will be making her Broadway debut opposite Samuel L Jackson in Katori Hall's play titled "The Mountaintop".
Halle is said to be playing a hotel maid in the stage show, which will be hitting Broadway after quite the successful run in London.

Following claims that she was busted for pot (again) while traveling through Europe, Paris Hilton was spotted living it up on the Mediterranean Sea on Saturday (July 17).
The hotel heiress joined sister Nicky and a group of friends with an afternoon of yachting and wave-running off the coast of the Italian island of Sardinia.
Clad in a skimpy bikini, Miss Hilton tweeted, "Another beautiful day in paradise! What more could a girl ask for? Loves it! :) Just finished racingg the wave runners. Now laying out on the yacht top deck enjoying the sun. What a beautiful day!"
Bravely tossing off her top with paparazzi capturing the action, Paris later boasted of her group's luxurious transport, writing, "Our yacht is incredible! Has its own pool, hot tub, movie theatre, recording studio, spa/massage room, gym, arcade room, helicopter pad and the most beautiful bedrooms and decor. I'm in Heaven on the water. Definitely the biggest and best yacht everywhere we go. Loves it! Huge!"
