| Emma Stone wore a low-key Louis Vuitton to the VF Oscar party: super-cute? | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I?ve seen a few pieces already about people being ?mad? about Emma Stone?s Oscar win over Lily Gladstone. While (again) I thought Lily came into the awards season as the favorite and she really had a shot at it, Emma?s balls-to-the-wall performance in Poor Things, combined with a great, breezy, fun Oscar campaign, all equaled a ?surprise win? for Emma. All I?m saying is that I?m not mad about it. Don?t hate the player, hate the game. These are pics of Emma at the Vanity Fair Oscar party she wore another custom Louis Vuitton look. This looks baggy and comfortable! That?s her very tall husband Dave.
Lily Gladstone changed for the VF Oscar party and I didn?t get the sense that she was moping in a corner somewhere. Reportedly, she was enjoying the parties, networking and staying booked and busy. Good for her.
Charlize Theron wore Dior to the VF party this is so much better than her Oscar dress, omg. The hair is still a tragedy though.
Georgina Chapman & Adrien Brody I can?t believe they?re still together!
Pamela Anderson was fresh-faced in Oscar de la Renta. This is honestly one of my favorite looks of the VF party.
Cynthia Erivo in custom Louis Vuitton blah, but I rarely think she?s styled well.
Zooey Deschanel in kind of a mod-print. I like it, it feels very ?70s.

| Jennifer Lawrence wore vintage Givenchy to the VF Oscar party: Pride & Prejudice? | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Lawrence turned up to the VF Oscar party in this vintage (1996) Givenchy Haute Couture dress. Thoughts? I hate it and I can?t believe this is a vintage piece from the ?90s. You know what it reminds me of? The fact that Jane Austen adaptations were all the rage at the time and several designers pulled inspo from that kind of Austen-esque costume design. J-Law is only 33 years old and whatever she?s doing to her face has her looking ten years older, I swear to god.
Sydney Sweeney in vintage Marc Bouwer. Recognize this? Angelina Jolie wore this to the Oscars in 2004. It?s literally the same dress too Sydney?s stylist arranged to get it out of archival storage and had to agree not to alter the dress whatsoever. I love that Sydney and her stylist stan La Jolie.
Margot Robbie in vintage Mugler. I?m not into this, nor do I think it looks like a fun party ensemble, but I hope she knocked back a few stiff drinks and partied.
Sandra Huller in Schiaparelli. Bonkers and very fun. She surprised me with some of her fashion choices throughout the season. She?s a bit offbeat.
Greta Lee in Loewe. This is fine? A pretty party dress, nothing more.

| Kim Kardashian wore Balenciaga to the VF Oscar party: actually kind of great? | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The color scheme for this year?s Vanity Fair Oscar party backdrop was so weird and dated this year basically a mustard-orange and a muted red. Basically, people who wore white really ?popped,? and everyone else kind of clashed. Speaking of, Kim Kardashian wore a surprisingly great Balenciaga gown to this year?s VF Oscar party. I love the neckline, don?t hate me. Her styling is good as well a sort of brunette Veronica Lake, with decent makeup.
Kylie Jenner wore Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Call me crazy, but I like this? She looks good. Don?t get me wrong, she looks like she?s already had more plastic surgery than Kim. But she looks okay.
Kendall Jenner wore Maison Margiela Haute Couture. I like this? It?s flattering and it looks like a typical Oscar party dress.
And the matriarch of this wretched clan, Kris Jenner.

| Carey Mulligan in Balenciaga at the Oscars: perfectly lovely? | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In the end, Maestro didnt win much this awards season and it didnt pick up even one award at the Oscars. I found it overwrought and poorly written, but Bradley Cooper did his best to hype it and Carey Mulligan dutifully campaigned. Carey has a real knack for looking lovely but not standing out, which is surely a choice shes making. She continued that last night in a black Balenciaga strapless mermaid gown with a tulle hem. She paired it with black opera gloves. This is one of those classic gowns thats not going to be on anyones best dressed lists but is phenomenal looking with impressive details. I love the scalloped slightly asymmetric bottom and how the gown hugs her curves perfectly. Careys husband Marcus Mumford was with her inside the ceremony and he looked so proud of her, it was nice to see.
Michelle Yeoh got the flashier Balenciaga, a sequin one shoulder number which she also accessorized with opera gloves. She was one of the Best Actress presenters, she introduced Sandra Huller, and you could tell she was having fun this year. Michelle is goals on so many levels and I love this gown. She looks phenomenal.
Bradley Cooper was looking coiffed and plucked in a Louis Vuitton suit. He brought his mother to the Oscars of course, and Kimmel made a little joke about them in his opening monologue, saying How many times can a man bring his mom as his date before he is actually dating his mom? I guess you know what youre getting when you date Bradley Cooper, and Gigi Hadid gets the pap pics while his mom gets the red carpet.
Gabrielle Union was vision in a streamlined silver metallic Carolina Herrera look that was actually two gowns in one. I heard in the red carpet coverage that she asked to put the mini dress with that skirt, which was a smart choice. Gabrielle and Dwyane Wade were producers of the Oscar nominated short film The Barber of Little Rock.

| Zendaya wore Armani to the 2024 Oscars: one of the best looks of the night? | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I would love to know what Zendaya?s contract for her Louis Vuitton house-ambassadorship looks like, because I honestly think that Zendaya is so powerful in the fashion industry, LV couldn?t even get her contractually obligated to wear their stuff at big events. Zendaya turned up at the Oscars in this Armani gown, and I?m sooo grateful that she didn?t have to wear LV. For many of you, Zendaya was one of the best-dressed of the evening, and for me, she was maybe? top ten? Not my fave, but I do like this the more I see of it. It has great angles and I love that Zendaya went very ?classic Hollywood? with her styling.
Lupita Nyong?o also wore Armani apparently, this was a custom look done for Lupita back in 2020, but it?s been sitting in Armani?s archives until now. She brought it out for the tenth anniversary of her Oscar win, and it?s meant to look like a throwback to her iconic Prada gown in 2014. Stunning! Beautiful! Her date last night was her Quiet Place 3 costar Joseph Quinn.
Annette Bening also wore Armani. I fking love this, y?all. She looks snazzy and comfortable and I would wear that coat/robe everywhere, with everything.

| Jennifer Lawrence wore polka-dotted Dior at the Oscars: cute or tragic? | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

People were shocked when Jennifer Lawrence walked the Oscar red carpet just minutes before the show started. Every time we?ve seen her in the past two years, her face looks more and more Real Housewife-esque. She claims it?s just makeup and styling, but it?s not, is it? J-Law wore this polka-dotted Dior which? I mean, she was the only one in polka dots, so she stood out. The Oscars were on ABC, owned by Disney, and this was a very Minnie Mouse look.
Anya Taylor-Joy is probably the ?perfect brand ambassador? for Dior. She is thin and blonde, of course, but beyond that, she has the other-worldly look which can work for different eras and wildly different styles. Her Dior gown was pretty traditional for Dior, with the fish-scale ?petal? layers and the beading. I loved Anya?s styling here she left her hair down and super-straight, and she went full-glitz with tons of diamonds from Tiffany & Co (she also reps Tiffany & Co).
It?s funny that both Anya and Charlize Theron wore Dior I mean, obviously, they?re both closely aligned with the label. But the Furiosa connection is interesting Charlize went through hell playing Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road, then they handed the ?prequel? to Anya. Anyway, Dior and Charlize phoned in this look. They gave her an ill-fitting gown and she was like ?I guess I?ll slick down my hair and throw on some jewelry.? If ?I don?t care? was couture.

| Emma Stone wore a pale seafoam green Louis Vuitton for her 'surprise' Oscar win | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Once I saw Poor Things, I understood why Emma Stone was suddenly making this huge awards-season surge, and why she was getting more awards heat than Lily Gladstone. While Lily?s performance in Killers of the Flower Moon was quietly powerful, she was ill served by the script and direction, whereas Poor Things was basically a showcase for Emma Stone?s talent, and Emma made a meal out of that role. All of which to say, I had a feeling that Emma would pull it out and she did. She won her second Best Actress Oscar in seven years. What a night! Reportedly, Emma had been lovely to her fellow Best Actress nominees and she sent them gifts and talked them up in interviews, especially Lily.
There?s some debate about whether Emma actually wanted to win and whether she thought she would win. I doubt she thought she would win, but she did campaign and she?s enormously proud of Poor Things, not just as an actress, but as a producer on the film. Emma?s Oscar look was pretty simple a pale seafoam green Louis Vuitton with an oversized peplum. Simple styling too hair down, stud earrings, simple necklace, not a lot of drama. Considering the tragic LV looks she?s worn at other awards shows, I consider this a win across the board. Also: she walked the carpet briefly with her husband Dave McCary! They are rarely photographed together.
Other notable celebrities in Louis Vuitton at the Oscars Colman Domingo & Cynthia Erivo. They both kind of killed it? Colman has been, hands down, the best dressed of the awards season.

| Ariana Grande wore Giambattista Valli to the Oscars: ridiculous and/or fun? | Added 266 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In case you?re wondering why Ariana Grande got a rock star reception at the Oscars, it?s because of Wicked. There?s apparently a lot of money behind it. Ari was just a presenter (alongside her Wicked costar Cynthia Erivo), but it felt like she was everywhere during the show and on stage. Ari wore this custom Giambattista Valli which is? absurd, but also kind of fun. Back in the day, at least a dozen Oscar-attendees would wear big, ridiculous gowns like this and it was a regular thing. Not so much anymore. The biggest problem here isn?t even the big dumb dress it?s that Ariana is sticking with that brassy shade of blonde and it?s doing her no favors.
Matt Bomer wore Brunello Cucinelli. Yes, I?m interested in the fashion, I?m not just mindlessly ogling the most beautiful man in the world.
Billie Eilish wore Chanel and she and her brother Finneas won their second Oscars! Ridiculous! While I did not like her Chanel outfit whatsoever, I fking loved her hair and makeup. The blowout was such a great look and her makeup was gorgeous. I hope she sticks with that glam team, they know what they?re doing.
