Not one to shy away from the spotlight, Heidi Montag flashed a smile for the cameras as she hit Sunset Plaza in Hollywood earlier today (April 6).
The "Hills" hottie kept it casual during her outing, sporting an orange scarf, gray shirt, blue jeans, and Pink fur boots during the day-beginning excursion.
The 24-year-old is said to be teaming up with former "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub for a new television project which would feature the group's effort to open their own restaurant, according to People.
Heidi added to the excitement when she took to her Twitter earlier in the week, teasing: "Filming's been great so far. Can't wait to show you all the new show! People keep asking what my new show is about. I say - imagine if Chekhov & Tolstoy wrote for reality TV."

Continuing to plug her new book ?All Things Bitter and Sweet: A Memoir,? Ashley Judd was spotted at Barnes & Noble on 5th Avenue in New York City today (April 6).
The brunette beauty donned a pretty floral dress and signed books while meeting and greeting her fans.
In the book, Ashley slams P. Diddy and Snoop Dogg for being counterproductive figures used in the YouthAIDS campaign.
"YouthAIDS created hip public service announcements for TV and radio using popular local and international celebrities and athletes and was participating in the MTV World AIDS Day 'Staying Alive' concerts. Along with other performers, YouthAIDS was supported by rap and hip-hop artists like Snoop Dogg and P. Diddy to spread the message...um, who? Those names were a red flag.?

The Victoria?s Secret stunner arrived at Ataturk Airport yesterday afternoon (April 5) and looked lovely as she strolled through the terminal.
Meanwhile, back in the States, Gisele and her husband Tom Brady are continually checking the progress of their new $20 million mega mansion.
The property consists of almost four acres and includes a 22,000 square-foot house with eight bedrooms, a lagoon-shaped pool, wine cellar, six-car garage, fitness center, and an elevator.

Stretching out her acting legs, Carrie Underwood is gearing up for the release of her new movie ?Soul Surfer? this Friday (April 8th).
The country singing sensation says her reason for choosing this film has everything to do with the story of Bethany Hamilton, a teenager who lost her arm in a shark attack only to return to the water shortly thereafter.
She explained, ?The whole story was such an inspirational story. It's something that I would want my kids to watch and to know I did, you know, ?Once upon a time whenever I have kids.'?

Carrying a Hermes bag in her arms, the E! reality hottie sported a cute jean jacket with black tights as she strutted past paparazzi following the early morning sweat session.
Meanwhile, Kim took to Twitter to announce her excitement over a just-booked trip to the United Arab Emirates.

These are some new photos of Cate Blanchett launching ?The Oasis: Homeless Short Film Competition? in Sydney, Australia yesterday. It?s a funky name for a competition, right? It makes it sound like the homeless people are making the films? But they?re not. The competition is actually for young, aspiring Australian filmmakers to create three-minute movies about the plight of homeless youths. The winner gets $25,000 - for their school. Blanchett told the media:
?Film and theatre and the visual arts I really strongly believe have an exceptional and unique capacity to spread important social issues and help produce change in our community. I’d like to encourage school students - both primary and secondary - to not only pick up a camera and participate in the competition but to use the education resource and to delve into the issues and make outstanding films. Films that raise awareness, tell really inspiring stories and provide solutions that not only touch our hearts, but provoke us into making real action… These kids who pick up these cameras will be the strategists and policy makers and artists of the future.”

In other Blanchett news, she has a new film coming out! It?s that weird/cool looking one called Hanna, with Eric Bana doing a German (?) accent and Blanchett doing a Southern accent and Saoirse Ronan as Hanna, the teenage assassin. I actually want to see it, just because I like everyone involved. And it actually looks like a solid action-thriller. But I?m worried about it too - the movie opens on Friday and Cate has barely done anything to promote it. I can?t even find any premiere photos - will there even be a premiere? I need a heavy dose of Blanchett boob frame!!! Here?s the trailer:

Here are some new photos of Renee Zellweger in Milan for the ?launch? of the Tommy Hilfiger Limited Edition Bag Launch For Breast Health International. I?m sure it?s a great cause and everything, but did Renee really just fly to Milan to launch a BAG? Does that bother anyone else? Anyway, Us Weekly is raising the High Alert because this is Renee?s first red carpet appearance since she and Bradley Cooper split (once again, a red carpet for a BAG). LaineyGossip notes that Bradley was in Italy yesterday - he was in Rome, promoting Limitless. Is it possible that two exes showing up in two different Italian cities one day apart is something more? I don?t know.
Here?s what I do know: this is not the best appearance Renee could have made. First, it?s not a red carpet appearance for a premiere or anything. It?s not really like she needs to be in Milan to promote a bag, and it actually feels like it might be a kind of C-list event. And while her red coat is really, really cute (I?m assuming it is Tommy Hilfiger as well), everything else with Renee is a mess. The makeup is really, really bad. But even worse than that, Renee has actually reverted back to her pre-Bradley posing. Do you remember? When she just kept losing more and more weight and she would just keep contorting her body in crazier positions because she thought it was more high fashion? It?s not quite back to the old stuff, but I?m worried that we?ll get there again with Renee. Ugh.
The bag is super-cute, though. I would totally buy it.

Eight months pregnant Mariah Carey decided to show off her baby bump in a naked photo shoot for Life & Style magazine. And in case that wasn’t enough nekkidness for you, she and her husband also posed together in the nude for a series of photographs that will hang about the family home. I hope she’s already budgeted for a therapist. The Daily Mail says:
Nick Cannon has revealed he recently stripped down for a naked photo shoot with his heavily pregnant wife Mariah Carey.
He confessed that he is already regretting the artistic photos which are set to be displayed on the walls of their family home.
‘My children are going to have to see these pictures. It’s a little weird,’ he remarked during his Rollin’ with Nick Cannon radio show.
‘It’s a little nasty. I mean, have you ever seen your parents naked? When they get older and their friends come over… they will see the pictures and say, “Your daddy’s butt naked.”‘
It could be worse. They could actually see your dad butt naked in the flesh. Good luck getting anybody to come over to the house then. Trust me, all your friends will be too busy telling the guidance counselor and branding your house “the pervert factory” to have a sleepover after that.

On transforming from mortal to vampire: ?The whole process takes about two hours. My hair is pretty thick, and we wrap it and put it under a wig. To get it to fit so I don?t like look I have an alien head is a talent in itself. The makeup is even more involved because they have to make us pale without taking away every feature.?
On camaraderie with her Twilight co-stars: ?We just filmed the fourth movie, and I think we?ve all grown up. We?re like a family. That?s not to say there weren?t disagreements. Remember how we saw bikini photos of Courteney Cox on vacation in the Caribbean with her Cougar Town costar, Josh Hopkins? Hopkins was previously linked to Jennifer Aniston, and the last we heard about Courteney’s love life she was dating a different guy from her job, Brian Van Holt, who plays her ex husband on the show. Well Courtney’s rep swore high and low that Courteney and Josh were just “platonic” friends on vacation with a group of people. Only US Weekly is calling Courtney’s bluff and reports in their upcoming issue that these two stayed in the same villa, were seen cuddling on the beach and enjoyed a couple’s massage together, among other implied activities.
Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston share everything ? even men! Courteney, still married to her husband of 11 years David Arquette, had a romantic rendezvous in St. Barts with her Cougar Town co-star Josh Hopkins. Courteney introduced Josh to Jen less than a year ago ? and they reportedly dated for more than three months!
The reason things didn?t heat up between Jen and Josh? Us Weekly reports Jen wanted a relationship with Josh but he turned her down: ?He was like ?no thank you.??
Courteney, 46, and Josh, 40, appeared to have no problem with the tangled past. They had a great time on their beach getaway, reportedly sharing Courteney?s three-bedroom villa and romantic champagne breakfasts and cocktails by their pool.
Onlookers tell Us Weekly that when Courteney, Josh and her 6-year-old daughter CoCo were spotted on the beach they were mistaken for a family!

After laying on the beach, indulging in couples? massages, and a private yoga session, it seems things are going great between this two. There?s only one little problem ? Courteney is still spending family with David and Coco.
After her romantic trip with Josh, she showed up at Disney World in Orlando with her husband, 39, and daughter.

I doubt this guy is going to get between Courteney and Jennifer Aniston, particularly since it’s not like he’s going to stick around with Courteney. Aniston supposedly wanted a relationship where he is rumored to have called her a “sport f*ck” though, so she could get hurt by it.
What I don’t get, is if Courteney wanted to have a fling with this guy and it wasn’t just a bunch of work friends on vacation, why she invited the paps. Did she think people weren’t going to call her on this? And don’t tell me that paparazzi from multiple agencies just happened to be there on the beach in St. Bars at the same time to get these posed bikini pics. No, Courteney thought she looked hot (her body does) and she wanted to show off. So she took a trip with her new lover, invited some other people for cover and then made sure she was photographed in her bikini right when Josh happened to be there. Maybe she even hoped people would whisper that she’s seeing yet another co-star post separation with David Arquette so we’d still be talking about her. It seems to have worked.
Then right after Courteney went on vacation with Josh, she went to Disney World with her ex David Arquette and their daughter. Does anyone else get the impression that the guy is holding out for a reconciliation and she’s stringing him along?

The Grammy winning singer happily exposed her full-blown baby bump on the cover shot - with the installment hitting newsstands on April 8th.
In the accompanying interview, Miss Carey dished of deciding to shed her top for the issue, ?I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn?t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.?
The 42-year-old continued, ?The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable. Especially the girl ? clearly she?s a diva in training! Gwen Stefani is the cover girl for the new issue of Elle Magazine - it?s their music issue, and Elle did an unexpectedly great job with the photo shoot and profiles. In addition to Gwen, musical stars like Willow Smith, Adele, Robyn, Nicki Minaj, Feist, Stevie Nicks and Aretha Franklin are also profiled and photographed (full slideshow here, at Elle). Gwen gets the long interview, and since she seems to be one of those women some of you love to hate, I thought I?d give you her interview excerpts. I think she comes across decently here - she cops to being vain, she gets a bit touchy when Elle compares her to Rihanna and Gaga, and she gushes about Gavin:
Gwen on vanity & performing while pregnant: ?It was horrible. Certain songs would make me want to puke. You feel pretty gross when you are first pregnant. You don?t feel cute, you feel disgusting. You?re getting fat. It was hard. I mean, I?m very vain. That would be my middle name. Of course I am, you know what I mean? I love the visual.”
On writing hits: ?I do! Why wouldn?t you want that many people listening to the songs that you wrote? There?s no way to go back after you have had it. So the intentions of even the solo records were always about trying to write those guilty-pleasure albums that just get in your head and you can?t get out. I?m not cool, I?m not into the B-sides. Prince, who is one of my idols, gave me some advice when I worked with him: ?Have you ever just tried writing a hit? Like, don?t just try writing a song, try and write a hit song.? I remember him saying that and me thinking, Yeah, you?re right. Why would you write anything else??
On Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry: “I don’t see myself in those girls. I usually put pants on. I see these girls as more going for the sex-symbol thing. I was more, in the band, like a tomboy. Of course, I think every girl is sexy, so there’s going to be a little of that. But I see a lot of younger artists going more toward the sexy thing.”
On Gavin: “The first time we ever kissed was right around Valentine’s Day; we were in New Orleans on tour. I always think about that because it’s unbelievable that we’ve been able to stay together. I feel so proud of us. It’s one of my biggest achievements.”
On pop music: “When we were growing up, some of the hits were legendary ones that you hear your whole life. But certain songs, I don?t know if you?ll ever hear them again. Because that?s what that music is, like a guilty pleasure, it?s right at the moment. It?s like fashion?it?s now, then it?s gone.”

Aw, I don?t hate her. I do think she probably has low self-esteem and yeah, she has a famewhore streak too. But the chick is talented - she?s got pipes, and she writes her own music, and that?s more than most pop stars can say.
Oh, I keep meaning to add this to a story, but I don?t write about Gwen that often, so here you go - in an interview a few weeks ago, Gwen was talking about why she wears so much drag queen makeup and she said, “I wear make-up every single day. I like to wear make-up for Gavin and I don’t feel energized until I’ve put it on, then I’m ready to go.” She wears the drag queen makeup FOR Gavin? Discuss.

?I think that's part of the reason why I had such a good time in the studio with Alicia in our sessions is because I'm around people who are music and they are the music of our generation and music that I've always admired and somebody that I've always looked up to so I almost can't find the words to express to you what it meant to me to hear Alicia say, ?Oh my god.??
?I remember we were recording 'Everybody Needs Love,' and when I did the note at the end and she was just sitting there like, ?Oh my god, wow how did you do that?? It's like, ?Alicia Keys is tripping out over me singing?? So that meant that much more to me because it was coming from her. And then seeing myself through her like, ?wow, so I can do what she's doing one day. Maybe someday I'll be producing that next artist.? So I was able to learn from her even in the process of creating my album.?

Ryan Phillippe is currently in Europe promoting The Lincoln Lawyer, and it looks like he brought along his on-again new girlfriend, the lovely Amanda Seyfried. There are new photos of Amanda and Ryan out in Paris yesterday and now Ryan is in Berlin along with Matthew McConaughey. Both of these men are attractive to me although they’ll never be at Matt Damon or Leonardo DiCaprio levels. McCoaughey needs to gain ten pounds and Phillippe needs to shave that beard. He’s probably trying to fight that sweet baby face that will stay with him the rest of his days.
I think Seyfried is gorgeous, I found her kind of captivating in that glurge fest Dear John, (she looks like a cartoon character with that hair and those giant eyes) but we know she has piss poor taste in men. From most reports Ryan has been stringing her along, but maybe he’s ready to play it serious now that his ex wife has so spectacularly moved on. (Or not, depending on your perspective.)
You get the sense with Ryan that he’s never quite satisfied, that the one he has on the hook will never be as interesting as the random girl in the bar, that he tries to suppress it and then feels guilt when he finally strays, when that itch gets too persistent not to scratch. (I went on too long with that, I know.) Or maybe he really does love and respect Amanda and he’s ready to show it. I doubt it, he also brought Abbie Cornish to events with him and he was stepping out on her all over the place.
Compare how Amanda looks while she’s out with Ryan to how she looks while she’s alone. It’s probably not fair to judge though as the paparazzi probably aren’t hounding her as much in the shots where she looks happy.

These are photos of last night?s Arthur premiere. As you know, Russell Brand and Helen Mirren are the leads of the film, but Jennifer Garner has a supporting part - the ?Susan? role. I guess Jennifer thought that because she wasn?t the lead in the film, she should dress low-key? Because this is a really bad premiere outfit, especially for someone like Garner. She?s 38 years old, but face-wise she could pass for late 20s. She could dress decades younger than this and still look appropriate. I don?t care is the outfit is Oscar de la Renta - it?s meant for Helen Mirren, or one of Dame Mirren?s contemporaries. It?s also disappointing because this is one of Jennifer?s first red carpet appearances (for one of her own premieres) in a while. And this is her ?comeback? outfit. Uninspired, to say the least. But I?ll give her some credit - her hair looks good, and I like this darker brunette she?s working. Her makeup is nice too - she never goes overboard with drag queen makeup, so good for her. I also think this bland appearance reinforces her ?I?m a mom, that?s my first priority? image. She looks like a middle-aged mom on a red carpet, because that?s who she is in her soul.
So, that was the outfit that Mirren should have worn. Instead, Dame Helen wore this to the premiere:
I don?t even know. This is a style fail, Dame Helen. You can do better than this. Borrow something from Jennifer!

Former Hills star Audrina Patridge and her mother hit the beach in Santa Monica to film some new scenes for her new sure-to-suck reality show, which premieres later this month on Vh1. We didn?t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!?
Indeed, although Mariah?s not due for a few weeks, the twins could be making their grand entrance sooner rather than later. Contractions sent mom to the hospital on March 27. But for now, Mariah and soon-to-be-dad Nick Cannon are simply reveling in their twin bliss! And Nick says he is more attracted to his wife than ever.
?I thought I couldn?t love Mariah more,? he tells Life & Style. ?But I have a whole new appreciation and admiration for her.?
Mariah adds, ?Now I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who?ve had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples. We need to have Mother?s Day once a week!?

Yesterday, we talked about Angelina Jolie?s trip to the Tunisian-Libyan border, where thousands of Libyan refugees have poured through the border, causing one of the latest refugee crises. As we looked through the photos of Jolie meeting with refugees, our focus was pulled away from the crisis and we ended up focusing on Jolie?s arm tattoos. Over the past several years, Jolie has covered up her old ?Billy Bob? tattoo (with the snake) and added latitude and longitude coordinates for each of her six children?s birth places. Commenters noted Jolie?s new seventh line of coordinates (seen in the photo above), and many of us wondered if Jolie had perhaps adopted again, or was preparing to adopt. I also think she?s looking kind of pregnant - she looks somewhat ?fuller? than she usually does.
Well, Angelina has heard our questions, and she has answered. Sort of. A ?source close to Jolie? tells People Magazine that ?all adoption speculation is false? and that people should ?not read too much into her skin art.? In Touch Weekly has another explanation for the seventh line:
When Angelina Jolie recently showed off a seventh line tattooed on her arm, just like the ones she has for each of her six children, many wondered if she had secretly adopted another baby. But In Touch can now reveal that the new ink actually bears the longitude and latitude of Brad Pitt?s birthplace, Oklahoma.
For Angelina, the tattoo is more serious than a wedding ring. ?She got the seventh line right around the time she and Brad moved the kids back to LA,? says an insider ? and the timing is very significant.
After dragging their kids around the world, Angelina, 35, has finally agreed to Brad?s long-standing request to settle down. But in return, she demanded a permanent commitment ? the tattoo, which ?signifies family unity.? In other words, Brad is part of Angelina?s family now ? tied to her forever. And she?s acting differently as a result.
On a recent visit to New Orleans, where Brad, 47, was shooting Cogan?s Trade, she texted and visited him on set so much that a distracted Brad asked her to go home. As great as commitment is, Angelina should know that everyone needs some breathing room ? even family!

What doesn?t make sense is that In Touch is still pushing this ridiculous story that Brad just wants to settle down in one place and Angelina is so evil because she likes to travel. Why is the story ?Angelina finally agrees to settle in LA? when Brad is currently filming a movie in New Orleans? Brad enjoys traveling for work and for pleasure just as much as Angelina.

Keanu Reeves is currently promoting his new film, Henry?s Crime. I thought it sounded like an artsy-fartsy independent film about, like, the ?crime? of an insouciant butterfly named Henry or something. You know the kind of film I mean - bad and pretentious. Although I would love to see Hollywood try to make a movie about an insouciant butterfly named Henry. Anyway, as it turns out, the film actually looks kind of good. Keanu costars with Vera Farmiga and James Caan. It?s part romantic comedy and part heist film, it seems:
Not bad, right? I would rent that. So while Keanu has been promoting the film, he?s obviously given some interviews. When Us Weekly asked Keanu what the ?craziest thing? a fan had ever done to him, Keanu answered honestly: ?Accuse me of being a father. I had to go to court. It was horrible. I didn’t do it. I’m not the dad.” Keanu is referring to the years-long debacle in which a mentally unstable woman named Karen Sala claimed Keanu had hypnotized her into thinking he was her ex-husband, and then seduced and impregnated her. Keanu really did have to give DNA to prove that he wasn?t the father. It was truly crazy.
Keanu also gave clues to a long-rumored project that he might be making in the next year: the third Bill & Ted?s Excellent Adventure! It?s been 20 years, but Keanu announced a few days ago that two screenwriters (Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon) are currently working on the script. Keanu even revealed some plot details (SPOILER!!!): ?I know a little bit? When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn?t happened. [?] So they?ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there?s an element of time and they have to go back.? I kind of love the idea of Keanu and Alex Winters going back and making another one. It?s so absurd. Dude.

As for the elimination night, talk show host Wendy Williams ended up being voted off, as she told DWTS co-host Brooke Burke, "I was probably the busiest person in terms of flying back and forth, you're right. In addition to that, I have a marriage, I have a child, and a litany of other things to hold together?so this has been a wonderful opportunity for me."
Giving props to her partner, Williams added, "I want to thank the judges, and I want to thank you also, Tony [Dovolani], for teaching me how to dance. Because you know, I still can't...despite stereotypes, this is one black girl who still can't do the running man."

Prince, who is one of my idols, gave me some advice when I worked with him: ?Have you ever just tried writing a hit? Like, don?t just try writing a song, try and write a hit song.? On her marriage to Gavin Rossdale: ?The first time we ever kissed was right around Valentine?s Day?we were in New Orleans on tour. So, yeah, I always think about that because it?s unbelievable that we?ve been able to stay together. I feel so proud of us?it?s one of my biggest achievements.?
On performing while pregnant: ?It was horrible. Certain songs would make me want to puke. You feel pretty gross when you are first pregnant. You don?t feel cute, you feel disgusting. You?re getting fat. It was hard. I mean, I?m very vain. That would be my middle name. Of course I am, you know what I mean? I love the visual."
On whether Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry have taken a page out of her playbook when it comes to style: ?Really? I don?t see myself in those girls. I usually put pants on. I see these girls as more going for the sex-symbol thing. I was more, in the band, like a tomboy. Of course, I think every girl is sexy, so there?s going to be a little of that. But I see a lot of younger artists going more toward the sexy thing.?
On pop music: "When we were growing up, some of the hits were legendary ones that you hear your whole life. But certain songs, I don?t know if you?ll ever hear them again. Because that?s what that music is, like a guilty pleasure, it?s right at the moment. It?s like fashion?it?s now, then it?s gone."
