Not far removed from their engagement news, Ivanka Trump and fianc Jared Kushner stepped out together at the New York City screening of “Inglourious Basterds” on Monday evening (August 17).
Held at the School of Visual Arts Theatre in Chelsea, Ivanka and Jared both looked their usual stylish selves as they walked past a crowd of photogs and curious onlookers ahead of the night’s festivities.
Meanwhile, as they get ready for wedded bliss, recent reports tell that the twosome are being treated to plenty of perks from family and friends.
“The engagement gifts are rolling in for Observer publisher/real estate heir Jared Kushner and his newly-converted bride-to-be, Ivanka Trump,” a source tells. “Ivanka got quite a flashy conversion gift: A Swarovski crystal-studded mezuzah with leopard spots, a source told us. The $250 mezuzah, which is affixed to a Jewish home’s doorpost.”

Surprise, surprise, there?s a chance Paula Abdul may be returning to ?American Idol? after all. She was being touted as the possible ?big name? celebrity who would likely be joining the ?Dancing with the Stars? cast. However the cast list came out yesterday and Paula wasn?t on it. And it sounds like ABC was pretty bummed about it and really wanted her on the show. It appears that Paula passed because she is still trying to work out a deal with ?Idol? producers, and wants something similar to what Ryan Seacrest got $45 million for three years.
Now that the ?Dancing With the Stars? cast has been announced, and Paula Abdul?s name is not on the list, negotiations between Abdul and Fox for her return to ?American Idol? have become more intense.
?The people at the very top of ABC were really vocal about getting her on board for ?Dancing,?? said a source familiar with the talks with Abdul. ?By not exactly keeping it secret, it made Paula?s value more apparent to Fox.?
The negotiations are ongoing, but calling them ?talks? could be more appropriate, since dubbing them ?negotiations? suggests that one side is budging.
?Paula isn?t lowering her price in any meaningful way. She wants a Seacrest-level deal,? said the source. ?Idol? host Ryan Seacrest reportedly signed a three-year deal with the show worth a total of $45 million. If there is a scenario that gets Abdul back on the show, it’s likely that her return would be limited to the live shows only, according to several people who are close to the talks. This will allow the original offer made by the show to stand, but Abdul would have a shorter time commitment.
As far as ABC is concerned, executives are disappointed they couldn?t sign Abdul to ?Dancing With the Stars.?? ?They actually really needed her as that big name,? said person who had direct knowledge of the talks. ?They didn?t really want Tom DeLay as their most-buzzed-about contestant.?

Both Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson have come out in support of Paula and said very nice things about her, but sort of in a ?Sayonara? tone. Like, ?You?re the best, you?ll do great at your next project!? It sounds like they enjoyed working with her and wish things had worked out differently, but not like they?re exactly pulling for her or anything.
They may have seemed like arch enemies on the set of “American Idol,” but everyone’s favorite grumpy Brit Simon Cowell says the show will not be the same without Paula Abdul. “I didn’t want to get involved in what’s going on because it wasn’t really any of my business but I spoke to her a lot through the whole process,” Cowell told FOXNews.com’s Pop Tarts column. “She was the heart, so you’ve taken that away so it’s a different show. I’m sad, I am.”
Cowell also said that he is confident Abdul will find success in whatever she does. “I will support her in anything she wants to do next. I think she is TV gold, genuinely.”
Co-host Randy Jackson echoed Simon’s sentiments. “Me and Ryan and Simon and her started this journey together, so I’m really shocked and really proud and really just couldn’t believe she’s not here,” he told Tarts. “We love her, I’m sure she’s going to be great whatever she decides to do.”

All nice things to say, but it doesn?t seem like there?s some sudden act of solidarity here. Sure there?s a chance Paula may still be on the show, but she?s already missed a good chunk of the auditions. The producers have made it clear they?re fine with replacing her, since that?s what they?ve been doing with guest judges anyway. Speaking of which, they recently announced that Shania Twain will be a guest judge in Chicago on August 30 and 31st. If Paula really wants in, she should take what she can get at this point.

Paula Abdul departed American Idol on Twitter and as of yet has not landed a new gig. There were talks of her being a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, but that was nixed by judge Mary Murphy. Then she was supposed to make a guest appearance on Ugly Betty, but that didn’t go through either. Paula isn’t on Dancing With the Stars either despite higher-ups campaigning for her to sign on.

So when are we going to hear her incoherent rambling again? American Idol most likely if MSNBC is right. Paula is negotiating with execs, but isn’t budging on her salary. She wants at least the same $45 million 3 year deal Ryan Seacrest has. Since producers are saying hell no to that, they’re thinking of limiting her appearance to live shows only to justify their lower salary.
Maybe execs have it all wrong. Who can understand what the hell Paula is talking about half the time anyway. Maybe she didn’t want a $45 million deal like Seacrest. Maybe she said she wanted Gummi Bears and an unlimited supply of rum and it only sounded like $45 million. People need a damn decoder ring just to figure out whether or not she liked a contestant.

Hard at work on her latest project, Amanda Seyfried was spotted on location for “Letters to Juliet” in Bryant Park on Tuesday afternoon (August 18).
The blossoming young actress enjoyed a pretzel snack and drink as a set worker touched up her hairdo in between the day’s filming.
And while she looked calm on this particular day, Miss Seyfried recently revealed to Allure magazine that she often suffers anxiety attacks.
“I suffer from anxiety attacks a lot,” she explained. “Like, the other day, I had an attack in the middle of a relaxing massage: My head was just spinning, and I felt nauseous! I was saying to myself, Just don’t make a scene! Finish this massage, or you’re going to be really annoyed with yourself.”
The 23-year-old adds, “Hollywood is just like high school: The popular people love the other popular people. And the thing is, some people aren’t nice. Or they are nice, but only to your face, not elsewhere. I do my fair share of judging when I see certain women on the covers of magazines. I think, Why is she on the cover? But then I try to think, Oh, wow — she really does look good.”

Well-known for her stylish ways, Nicole Kidman is ready to hit the catwalk for “Project Runway”.
According to Access Hollywood, a rep for Lifetime has confirmed that the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress will appear on the reality spearheaded by supermodel Heidi Klum.
The report adds that Miss Kidman can be seen during the “Project Runway: All-Star Challenge” episode – which is set to hit airwaves before the sixth season premiere of the show on August 20.
Others making appearances on the TV special include designers Santino Rice and Jeffrey Sebelia.

Tyra Banks, needing a new hook to get people to keep tuning in to her show, decided that she?s going to show her real hair. And that?s supposed to get you to watch. I?m not sure what Tyra?s real hair is supposed to look like, but unless it?s something shocking, that, in and of itself, isn?t enough to get me to drag out the old rabbit ears and watch her show.
Tyra Banks is saying “So long!” to her lovely lengthy locks temporarily. The supermodel-turned-television mogul will ditch her bouncy mane for the season premiere of “The Tyra Banks Show,” a rep for the talk show confirmed to Access Hollywood.
Tyra will reveal to viewers her “natural hair” on the program’s Season 5 premiere, which is set to air September 8 on The CW.
“This season on ‘The Tyra Show’ we’re taking it to the next level and getting more real than ever before by encouraging women everywhere to own and rock what they’ve got and be proud,” Tyra said in a statement. “For the Season 5 premiere, I will be doing just that - no fake hair, I’m rocking my REAL hair.”
Tyra is hoping her de-weavement will encourage others to show off what their mamas gave them.
“This will all be going down on September 8, 2009, which we’re declaring National Real Hair Day,” Tyra’s statement continued. “We welcome everyone to go natural with me!”
And the star will also be stepping out of her tailored clothes too. She recently ventured to Union Square in New York City, to tape a segment for her show while dressed in a flesh colored body suit and just a scarf on her head.

Tyra?s whole publicity stunt is over getting women to be proud of their real hair. Which, I?m a fan of. First off, as I?d previously admitted, I had a disastrous run-in with Sun In last summer, and have about of the hair I used to, at most. So I?d really appreciate it if all those fakers out there quit walking around with what looks to be insanely thick hair, but is in fact just some sort of weave or extension. They make me seethe with envy, and for some reason I am totally incapable of telling if women?s hair is real or not unless it?s super obvious. So I?ll just sit on the train glaring at some random girl because she?s got hair for days. So for the first time ever, I?m behind something Tyra Banks is doing, because it will help my own vapid insecurities.
But seriously, if Tyra indeed revealing her natural hair for the show, she sure isn?t doing it until the day of filming. Because in these pictures it appears that she?s wearing a wig with a headscarf over it. And also, note how all the other women are baring their bodies in flesh-tone underwear and bras (shudder)? Tyra?s covered from head-to-toe. I?m just saying, stop telling everyone else to be comfortable with their bodies when you?re not with yours. And I?m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt with the hair and assume she really will be without any fake hair when her show premieres. But that sure as hell wasn?t the case in Union Square yesterday.

The “Just Dance” songstress is in town ahead of her massive concert in Tel Aviv tomorrow evening where things may be toned down a bit.
During a press conference yesterday, GaGa covered up her sexy black top with a stylish (but conservative) leather jacket and announced that her first trip to the Holy Land would be “an emotional and spiritual experience.”
Lady has promised to temper her usually outspoken and provocative ways while on the trip, while looking forward to swimming in the Dead Sea and today’s tour of Jerusalem.

According to a report, the “Gimme More” songstress will make her first appearance since a surprise visit back on November 6th of 2006.
Back then Britney joked around with Letterman, saying, “Thank you so much. I’m in town, and I’m just such a huge fan. I had to stop by.”
Letterman replied, “That’s very nice of you to say. That means so much to me.” Spears shot back, “Uh, no, I wasn’t talking about you. I was talking about (the night’s guest) Will Ferrell.”

Celebrating a friend’s birthday at Philippe in East Hampton Saturday night, Leighton Meester and friends got into a Happy Birthday shouting/screaming match with girls at a nearby table. According to a diner, two tables of girls shrieking Happy Birthday at each other is rather irritating.
“She was rallying her friends to out-scream the ‘Happy Birthday’ song of a nearby table of girls,” says a diner. “Both tables started screaming obnoxiously back and forth at one another until Leighton finally stood up on the table and started dancing.”
Leighton seems fun. None of my screaming matches end in a sexy dance-off. Most of the time it’s just me slamming the door to my room, swearing I’m going to move out of my parent’s house and crying into a pile of stuffed animals. Do every one of her arguments end in a weird case of tourettes? Because I wouldn’t mind being emasculated in front of my friends if it meant being able to watch that hot piece of ass jump on a table and start wiggling her ass at me in a short skirt.

While filming Iron Man 2, Gwyneth Paltrow made friends left and right. She was the belle of the ball and everyone loved and admired her. Ha! Yea, right. Actually, the crew were hoping her character Pepper Potts would be recast or killed off in the movie. However, much like herpes, they resigned themselves to the fact that Gwyneth isn’t going away.
Gwyneth did nothing to make friends with fellow superhero Scarlett Johansson, playing the Black Widow, says the insider, and crew actually preferred to be around her husband, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
“Gwyneth is extremely cool at work. She’s just a step above professional, too snobby,” the on-set source tells FOX411. “Gwyneth is not friendly to anyone, and tends to make people feel awkward and uncomfortable. She wasn’t outright rude to Scarlett, she just didn’t ever speak to her. Gwyneth went out of her way to avoid Scarlett, and they had zero contact, at Gwyneth’s choosing.”
“Much of the crew didn’t mind hanging out with her husband, Chris, but if Gwyneth ever came around, they scattered! Chris is so chill and relaxed and she is just the opposite. Chris has been a crew favorite since the filming of the first movie.” [FOX 411]
Maybe the cast and crew just didn’t get to know her. Maybe if they took the time to get past her cold, hard exterior, they would have found out this was a woman filled with love and compassion. Nah. She’s probably a bitch through and through. Someone could be fatally injured on set and it would take about 5 minutes before Paltrow started complaining that they were behind schedule.

While we now know that Jessica Simpson will not be appearing as a guest judge on "American Idol" — and the return of Paula Abdul remains a far-off, tantalizing possibility — we know for certain the identity of another of the reality competition's temp critics: country star Shania Twain.
People first reported on Monday the possibility that Twain would join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi. Now, it's official. Twain will become the third pop luminary to appear on "Idol" following the departure of Paula Abdul. She'll take her seat at the judges' table in Chicago on August 30 and 31.
Mary J. Blige has already turned up for an appearance in Atlanta, and Victoria Beckham took on the role in Boston. Katy Perry is also set for a turn as a judge this season.
At a press conference earlier this month, Fox Entertainment Chairman Peter Rice said that "Idol" will eventually replace Abdul with a permanent fourth judge, but will use guest celebrities until the right candidate can be selected.
"What we need to find is someone who has great chemistry," Rice said. "It's really a casting job. ... There are multiple right answers and there are multiple wrong answers. Our job in the next four to five months is to really consider what makes this the most fun and the most entertaining."
Despite Rice's earlier assertions that he didn't expect Abdul to return at the last minute, TMZ reported on Monday that Abdul might in fact come back if the show acquiesces to her earlier contract demands for $10 million per season.

Getting down to work on her latest project, Kristen Bell was spotted filming scenes on the set of “You Again” in Pasadena, California yesterday (August 17).
The “Veronica Mars” hottie looked focused as she ran lines while standing underneath an umbrella prior to shooting a car scene.
And it sounds like “You Again” is going to be a big follow-up hit to Bell’s last big flick “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” as the script and ensemble cast are promising.
The film is about a girl who learns that her brother is going to marry a girl that bullied her in school and sets out to expose the soon-to-be-bride’s true colors.

Continuing to make her rounds on the talk show circuit, Christina Applegate was looking lovely as she arrived for an appearance on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday (August 18).
The “Samantha Who?” sweetheart donned an appropriate bright Pink ensemble, trying her best to draw attention to her cancer research efforts for Right Action for Women.
A cancer survivor herself, Miss Applegate has become increasingly attentive to her physical well-being - keeping a strict diet and spending more time working out.
Recently talking about her change in looks since her “Married with Children” days, Miss Applegate told press, “Back then I never stepped in a gym, I had great elasticity, and my body would respond if I exercised just twice. Things changed about three or four years ago. I have to be incredibly consistent with my workouts, and it takes at least a month to see any positive changes in my body.”

Singer Celine Dion, 41, and her husband Rene Angelil, 67, are reportedly expecting a second child. Celine said in December, 2008 that she had a frozen embryo left over from the fertility treatment that resulted in her son Ren-Charles, 8, and that she would love to have another child:
?We?d love to extend the family,? the singer ? who herself is the youngest of 14 children ? told CBS Early Show host Julie Chen.
Asked if she has a frozen embryo, Dion, whose son was conceived by in vitro fertilization after six years of trying, replied, ?Yes, we do have a frozen embryo.?
Only, one may not be enough. ?I started to talk to Ren-Charles about it. He said ?Can we have four and five?? ? said Dion.

Until I started covering celebrity gossip and reading up on fertility treatments I didn’t know much about all the options available. It looks like Dion could be having another baby - using her own fertilized egg from nine years ago. That’s kind of amazing when you think about it.
Dion finished her last tour, Taking Chances, in February after a year performing around the world. She previously had a five year run in her Las Vegas show, A New Day, which grossed $400 million, and ended in December, 2007. Dion certainly has an incredibly successful career, and now she could be adding to her family. Congratulations to Celine and her husband.
UPDATE: Celine’s rep just confirmed to “various media outlets” that Celine is, in fact, pregnant. The rep says, “Celine and Rene [Ang[e]lil] are very happy… They are crazy in love over the news and … they are overjoyed.” Congratulations to the happy family!

In all of the madness for Mad Men, I sort of forgot that one of my other favorite shows was finally coming back, at long last. Project Runway is returning, this time on Lifetime. The premiere episode will show on August 20 (this Thursday), and the Project Runway team is now in Los Angeles. The judges - Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia - plus my favorite Silver Fox, Tim Gunn, sat down with Newsweek for a great roundtable discussion about the show, fashion, politics and why Tim needs a boyfriend. Beware - this is for lovers of Project Runway. If you don?t like the show, you?ll probably find this boring. One of the most interesting pieces of information was Heidi Klum talking about the one-sided war of attrition with Karl ?Anger Bear? Lagerfeld:
NEWSWEEK: OK, we’re going to start with an easy question. If you had to name one person who forever influenced the way you look at fashion, who would it be?
Michael Kors: For me it would be Halston. He was American and proud of it, and I think that women really felt sexy in his clothes, but at the same time were comfortable.
Nina Garcia: I would have to say CoCo Chanel. She set up such iconic classics: the tweed jacket, the little black dress, the chain bag. All those things still live today and have continued to keep that house so relevant.
Heidi Klum: For me it was probably Karl Lagerfeld, because he was German, and when I was in Germany I didn’t really know that fashion or modeling was, like, a serious job.
Heidi, aren’t you having a feud with Lagerfeld now? He’s been attacking you in the press.
Klum: I personally don’t have a problem with him, but I read things and I hear things.
Does he know that you admire him?
Klum: Well, that wasn’t the question. He was definitely a designer in Germany who was known. I think the country was very proud of him, and [his clothes] looked different.
The winners of American Idol are all instant successes. But that doesn’t seem to be the case with the winners of Project Runway . Why?
Klum: We get asked that question all the time. “What happens to the winners of Project Runway?”
Garcia: It takes years for a designer to get established.
Kors: And to figure out how to make it last. I think at the end of the day, the great thing about the show is that it gives you the platform. It gives you the spotlight, and then, quite frankly, it’s up to them to navigate these torturous waters.
Gunn: You have to have a tenacity to see through the bad reviews and persist. And with our Project Runway “alumni,” I’ll call them, it depends on how ambitious they are, and also how willing they are to relinquish making something to a production team.
Of all the contestants who have been on the show, who do you think has the best vision?
Klum: For me it would be Christian Siriano, because I still see him around. I wore one of his beautiful gowns to the Emmys and many people were like, “Who is this gown?”
Kors: I think to succeed in fashion, like in Hollywood, you need to have all of it. And Christian has it. He has the talent, he’s driven, and this is his life?he breathes it, he eats it?and on top of it all, he’s got a personality!
How is Runway going to be different on Lifetime?
Klum: I think so many people are afraid of us moving to L.A. But honestly, I’ve always said that we can shoot Project Runway on the moon, because we’re sort of in our own Project Runway world. But Tim, you were worried about the earthquakes.
Gunn: Well, that I was. I still am. But we were only there for a couple of days and I was reminded that before World War II, Hollywood was really the center of American fashion.
We’re just impressed that you invited Lindsay Lohan to be a guest judge, and she actually showed up.

Everybody’s so quiet now.
Klum: You’re such a gossip girl!
Kors: Ohmigod!
How do you think the Obamas have influenced the fashion world?
Gunn: Hugely.
Klum: I think it’s the first time that people actually look at women in politics wanting to look like them. Most women in politics, they wear a suit and look like a man.
Are you talking about Hillary?
[Laughter]
Klum: No. I’m not picking a person.
Kors: I think the other thing that’s interesting is that suddenly you have both a president and a first lady who are incredibly accomplished, incredibly bright, well read, obviously juggling 70 balls up in the air, and both very upfront about the idea that, you know what? It’s OK to look great doing it. Like, it does not make you suddenly a second-class citizen, or shallow.
Tim, I don’t want to put you on the spot. But the last time we talked, you were single. Is there a Mr. Tim Gunn in your life now?
Gunn: I couldn’t be more single. I don’t have time. Relationships take time, and I’d have to give something up, and there’s nothing I would want to give up. I really mean this: I’m the luckiest guy in the world.
Klum: You’re missing out on a few things.
Gunn: It’s been so long, Heidi, I’ve forgotten.
Klum: I just have to say, too, this is one of the biggest shames on the planet, because he’s such a wonderful man. I call him James Bond, because he is like our James Bond. And Tim is one of the nicest men: charming, handsome, smart. And I’m sure there is, like, fan mail that is coming in every day. Maybe he’s just really picky. Are you just really picky?
Gunn: No. I just don’t have my radar up.

I also loved the part where everyone went dead silent at the mention of Lindsay Lohan?s name. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Celine Dion has announced that she’s pregnant with her second child at the age of 41.
The “It’s All Coming Back to Me” songstress and her 67-year-old husband Rene Angelil reportedly employed the services of a team of fertility doctors to help them conceive.
Prior to her recent Taking Chances World Tour, Celine told Oprah Winfrey, “We are going to give it a try after my tour. Hopefully we (can get) pregnant again.”
She continued, “I have a small window of hope. But we have been so blessed already. We tried six years for Rene-Charles. We have our miracle baby.”

Taking her Hello Katy tour down under, Katy Perry was spotted rocking out at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, Australia last night (August 17).
The “Waking Up in Vegas” songstress looked excited to be in the famous city, winning over a whole new set of fans as she played through her set.
And it sounds like Miss Perry has fallen under the intoxicating spell of British stud Russell Brand- she kissed him and she liked it!
Katy told press that she had a great time filming her cameo for “Get Him to the Greek,” saying, “I did a little cameo scene for his movie. It’s really just a quick clip but I got to kiss him. Fox News’ Pop Tarts talked to Brad Pitt at the premiere of Inglourious Basterds, and they?ve just got around to writing up his comments now. Brad doesn?t really come across as some brilliant artist as he pontificates on the joys of ?kicking ass?. He also claims that after this role, he walks with ?a little more swagger?. Brad jokes about the paparazzi, but the sarcasm is sort of lost and I took him seriously for a second when he started in about how the paparazzi are ?kind, generous? people. Pop Tarts also got Diane Kruger and Quentin Tarantino to talk about the history of that WWII period, and whether present-day Germany still feels it:
Brad Pitt may have turned into a humanitarian hottie since hooking up with Angelina Jolie, however the star of Quentin Tarantino?s WWII flick ?Inglourious Basterds? still gets a kick of it kicking others. Literally.
?I just like kicking ass, period. Didn’t have to be Nazi, I can beat any ass. Any ass I like kicking. I just kick it,? Pitt enthused at last week?s Hollywood premiere, adding that since playing an American commando out to demoralize the Nazi regime he has become ?a little tougher? and now walks with ?a little more swagger?.
But oddly enough, the pesky paps actually aren?t on Pitt?s hit list.
?Paparazzi are my friends, they take good care of me,? he said with a smile. ?They are really kind and generous and thoughtful people who make the world a better place.”
On a somewhat more serious note, Pitt?s German-raised co-star Diane Kruger said that educational procedures have been put in place to avoid any more Hitleresque dynasties from coming to fruition, although she feels no guilt over the historic tragedy.
?Every kid has to go to a concentration camp and it’s definitely part of making sure it never happens again,? Kruger said. ?It’s been 60 years, so my generation or younger, we really don’t have any reference or any guilt feelings in that sense to our ancestors. It’s funny because it’s come up so much, how is Germany going to react? But the truth is, we don’t like to hang on to dear old Adolf any more than the rest of the world and if anything, we would have liked to kill him ourselves.?
In fact, Tarantino said that so far it?s the Germans who have given the flick the warmest reception.
?They already love the piece because we made it there. With the possible exception of Jews, if there’s anybody that’s had fantasies of bringing down the 3rd Reich, it’s the last few generations of Germans that have had to live under this shadow,? Tarantino told Tarts. ?A lot of the German actors in my movie, this isn’t the first time they’ve put on Nazi uniforms, it?s just this thing that hovers over them culturally. They’ve thought about it a lot so when they read the script and when they see the movie, they’re like ?hell yeah!??

I found Diane?s comments the most interesting. There really aren?t that many German artists who have reached a certain level of success in America, so I think we Americans look at someone like Diane and think ?If she says it?s okay, it?s probably okay.? And really, why would present-day Germany be upset with Tarantino and the film? He brought the film production to Germany, he hired a ton of German actors and extras, and he many Germans are probably happy with the added industry. There are still many questions about how Taratnino treated the era as far as historical accuracy - but I tend to think that Tarantino wasn’t really trying to make a historial film, only a bloody, kick-ass revenge film that happened to be set during WWII.

Page Six is reporting that Jessica Simpson is being pushed by her father, Joe Simpson, as Paula Abdul?s replacement on American Idol. We?ve already heard rumors that Victoria Beckham wants to be more than just a one-time judge - so is this a battle royale between Posh and Jess? Which one knows more about the music industry? Which one would give better advice? Actually, putting Jessica on to replace Paula might be sort of brilliant. USA Today got ahold of Redskins quarterback Colt Brennan to ask him if last week?s report that he and Jessica were dating was true. Colt says no way - but he?s sort of charming about it, telling the newspaper, ?My life coach, (Redskins TE) Chris Cooley, said that I should neither confirm nor deny it. But me being an honest guy, I have no idea what that’s about.? He actually sounds half-way interested. Jessica should go for it!
In one last piece of Jessica Simpson news, Nick Lachey?s brother Drew told Us Weekly that a Nick and Jess ?Newleyweds Part Deux? reunion was not in the cards:

Yeah, I really don?t think Nick wants to go there again, and he?s probably been very vocal about it to friends and family. Thankfully, Nick has been pretty gracious in public - although I would love to hear his take on Papa Joe. You know Nick has a ton of Papa Joe stories, and they?re probably all disgusting.
Update: Jessica Simpson’s rep has denied this report, saying “There is absolutely no truth to this.”

Word on the streetis that Britney Spearsrecently secured a newboyfriend, but as of this weekend they had already split and gone there seperate ways. I’m guessing he got what he wanted over that short period of time, whatever it may have been? He’s probably at a medical clinic now. Meanwhile, Britney Spears has squeezed into a little Pink bikini and is relaxing with her gal pal. Although thepost-meltdown celebrity looks okay,she’s not really doing anything for me. Mark Wahlberg was rushed to a hospital Friday morning after breathing in too much smoke while filming The Fighter on Thursday night. A smoke machine being used for atmosphere was running while Mark “acted” and apparently he got a little overzealous with his inhaling. The director must have told him to act angry. He was released shortly thereafter and was back to work the same day.
“When he woke up Friday morning he was gasping for breath so he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was put on a breathing device that helped clear his lungs.”
It really took until Friday morning to feel the effects from Thursday night? Maybe Mark decided to wake-and-bake and took too big of a hit. That’s entirely possible. It’s also entirely possible that Mark Wahlberg is a big pussy. Take your pick.
