With Showtime's "Homeland" set to make its season three debut on September 29th, Morena Baccarin graced the cover of Los Angeles Confidential's September 2013 issue.
While donning designer duds from Cushnie et Ochs and Miriam Salat for the Gavin Bond-shot spread, the 34-year-old actress chatted about her successful series and reveals how DC's elite react to "Homeland."

On expecting her first child:
"I am not going to be pregnant on the show."
On Joe Biden's interest in the series:
"Apparently, in his Monday morning security meetings, Vice President Biden will talk about the show, how realistic it is. I was floored by that-here are the leaders of our nation talking about our show!"
On "Homeland's" Success:
"You pinch yourself for a long time. Every time our season comes out, I kind of feel like, 'Okay- this is the one that everybody's going to hate. This is where we go to, like, being the show that everybody doesn't like...' And then it doesn't seem to happen."
On her frequent nude scenes:
"I had my boundaries, and I had to have a conversation with myself about where I wanted to be true to the material and also to myself. There were things that I wouldn't do and certain levels of nudity that I was not comfortable with, and I was really blunt with them about it."
On her past struggles:
"Being different is something that eventually helps you and singles you out. I remember seeing a squirrel for the first time in school and not knowing how to say it in English, saying it in Portuguese, and everybody kind of looking at me really strangely. It rocks your world. Moving countries is a huge, traumatic experience, but at the same time it made me really adaptable and really fearless."

Actress Kaley Cuoco was reportedly overwhelmed by her relationship with actor Henry Cavill and it was difficult for her to deal with the non-stop attention.
Cavill and Cuoco split up last month following a brief romance and friends of the 27-year-old actress said the relationship was difficult for her, reports contactmusic.com.
“She just got overwhelmed with the very public Superman relationship. She’s not used to that much attention and chaos in her life,” a source told OK! Magazine.
The Big Bang Theory actress has now moved on to tennis player Ryan Sweeting and is much happier with this low-key romance.

This could be true. A lot of you believed that Kaley was the one who pulled the plug on Cavill, leaving him in the lurch because he thought they had an understanding as to their showmance. Of course, other people believed that Henry pulled the plug because of the backlash, because he looked like Tom Cruise, which is to say, he looked very uncool.

Here are some new photos of Jennifer Garner out and about with her son Samuel Affleck yesterday in LA. We?re slowly getting to see more of Samuel these days ? it?s sort of like the Garner-Afflecks are American royalty, and like any royal family, they have to slowly ease their children into their public roles in America’s Dimple Parade. Newborns do not have to participate in The Dimple Parade. But once you start walking, you better start strutting those dimples!
Honestly, though, I?m kind of obsessed with Samuel. He?s SO blonde! Violet and Seraphina were blonde too, right? But were they this blonde? I forget. And I love how pouty Samuel is. He actually reminds me so much of Maxwell Drew Johnson, Jessica Simpson?s kid. All blonde hair and big pouts.
As for Jennifer? when did she gets bangs? Those are new, right? She?s currently filming Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, so I guess the bangs are for the movie. Let?s see? looking through our photos? yes, the bangs are new. Like, she must have gotten them in the past week. Hopefully the bangs will end when the movie is over. That being said, the bangs aren’t flat-out terrible on her. She just looks even more mom-ish.
And to give her a little bit of credit, this dress is one of the cuter things I?ve seen her wear in her casual outings. It?s still twee and it looks like an oversized version of one of Seraphina?s dresses, but it?s okay and it?s better than what she usually has on. As for whether or not she?s pregnant? God knows. How long have I been saying she looks pregnant? So, yeah, I guess I was wrong. She?s not pregnant. She just has weird posture and an organic, homemade burrito baby.
P.S. I loathe her bandage-colored shoes. I get that they?re comfortable and practical, but I?m sure Payless had other colors!

The last I heard, Jason Segel was dating a woman he met in rehab. Last I heard, Cameron Diaz was dating some sketchy billionaire. But according to Life & Style, Camy and Jason might be happening in real life! They?ve known each other for a while ? they costarred in Bad Teacher a few years ago, and I was surprised by how much chemistry they had (and how that film was actually pretty good). They?re both really tall. They both like fart jokes. They both have issues with alcohol (although Cameron has never been to rehab as far as I know, and she probably still partakes). Looks like Jason Segel has caught the eye of Cameron Diaz! Life & Style can reveal that the pair were caught cozying up in East Hampton, N.Y., on Tuesday night.
“They were at [upscale eatery] Nick and Toni’s and seemed to be on a date,” one eyewitness tells the mag.
And that’s not the only place the Hollywood hot shots were spotted ? they were also seen shopping at Citarella food market in the same area!
“They bought groceries and then drove off together,” an eyewitness on Instagram revealed.
Cameron has been in town as she films The Other Woman alongside Leslie Mann, Taylor Kinney and Kate Upton.
The blond beauty, 40, and How I Met Your Mother star, 33, are spending quite a lot of time together. And that will continue as they’re set to begin filming their next flick together, Sex Tape.

Which means I think they?re banging and maybe he has feelings for her. But Cameron is kind of weird about relationships, right? I get the feeling that she doesn?t know how to be in a relationship unless the guy is a total douchebag (Timberlake, A-Rod, Diddy). Jason is not a douchebag. He?s just a funny, sweet guy with substance abuse issues. And now I kind of worry that Cameron?s boozing might be a trigger for him. Anyway, apparently it?s still a thing to hate on poor Annie. This poor woman. She?s an Oscar-winner and she can?t enjoy it because people look at her and think ?Annoying. Oscar Beav. Nipple Dress. Try-Hard.? But I still like Annie. And she?s trying to get more people to like her too, allegedly. All of this is ?allegedly?. Star Magazine claims that Annie is ?so desperate? for public acceptance that she wants to be the newest face of the oh-so-wholesome Got Milk? campaign.
Except there seems to be a problem (allegedly). Apparently, Annie is lactose intolerant and she?s said so publicly, so her campaign ?was abruptly canceled? because her lactose intolerance is ?off-message?. Fortunately, Annie?s rep (doesn?t she share representation with Jennifer Aniston?) went to Gossip Cop and said that Annie never had any plans to do a Got Milk campaign. Huh. Suspicious.
Dear Annie: You know what would get you back into everyone?s good graces? Make a good movie and then have a baby. Seriously. That?s all you really need to do.

Here are some photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt, 34, at the launch of the Pampers “Love Sleep & Play” campaign yesterday. Hewitt announced her pregnancy in early June and assuming she was three months along at that point (we have no way of knowing actually) she would be over five months at this point. That makes sense, she looks about five or six months here, doesn’t she?
Hewitt recently dyed her hair a darker brunette, took off some length and got bangs. I’m not anti-bangs but I think they have a tendency to go wrong if they’re too short or too shaggy. This is just the right length for her, and I agree with E! News that the new hairstyle frames her face well. This is a really cute look for her. Here’s how Hewitt looked just a couple of weeks ago with longer, lighter hair and no bangs. The new darker hairstyle suits her.
I also like Hewitt’s formfitting long black dress and cutout wedge heels. This is a very chic look for a mommy-to-be.
Earlier this month we saw photos of Hewitt doing prenatal exercises outside with her trainer, but she’s been surprisingly low key. She used to be papped much more, and I like how she’s been keeping a low profile. She’s playing this pregnancy and engagement very well.
Oh that reminds me that this is the first time we’re getting photos of her engagement ring, let’s take a look. It’s a round diamond with diamonds on the band and it’s gorgeous! It should be, she picked it out several years ago. (I’m not even being facetious.)
I only found one photo of her with her hand on her bump. Well played indeed.

Making the most of her downtime, Anne Hathaway stepped out for a morning hike in Los Angeles on Wednesday (August 21).
The "Les Miserables" actress donned a white tank top and blue pants as she made her way through Hollywood Hills with some of her gal pals.
Recently, Anne won a survey that iHeartRadio conducted of who in Hollywood would be worthy enough to play the future queen of England, Kate Middleton, in a biopic.
Kate Beckinsale followed closely behind Anne with 24-percent, and Natalie Portman with 20-percent.
However, Jennifer Lawrence received fourth place in the poll with 17-percent. While everyone would love her to snag the role, her signature bluntness might be a bit out of place.
