Looks like a crocheted NASCAR pit crew uniform!.
Here is Miley Cyrus slipping into a Balmain crochet jumpsuit as she made her arrival at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. She added a little glamour to her rocker style by opting for a classic red lip and smoky eye combo. Of course, she kept her edge by rocking a side swept, faux hawk front.
Miley’s scarlet pout wasn’t the only pop of color on the red carpet. Taylor Swift updated her signature cat eye with a cobalt hue and Hayden Panettiere went with a dash of green along her lids.

Adding another film to her already-impressive resume, Kate Hudson has joined the cast for Zach Braff's indie film, "Wish I Was Here."
The flick centers around Aidan Bloom, played by Braff, a struggling actor, father and husband who at 35 is still trying to find purpose for his life.
Hudson will play Zach's wife in the movie and will be joined by other cast members Mandy Patinkin and Josh Ga.
Though there is no release date scheduled at this time, Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg will be producing through Double Feature Films.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber had their big public reunion last night at the Billboard Music Awards, and although they walked the blue carpet seperately, they did sit together and kissed for everyone, which … sucks. I’m firmly in the “showmance reunion” camp for this event because both Justin and Selena performed onstage last night, and I have a feeling that Scooter Braun got together with Selena’s people and encouraged them to make nice. They’ll probably “break up” again next week.
Anyway, Selena wore this semi-futuristic, white Atelier Versace gown with neon details that featured mesh cutouts in the front and back. In the front, we’re seeing a bit of peekaboo boob curve, which isn’t terribly scandalous. If anything, I expected Selena to mix things up a bit more because this look is a little boring for her. Her hair and makeup look lovely though.
Carly Rae Jepsen synchronized with the nearly all-black dress code at this event. She won the award for “Top Digital Song Artist” — probably because of that awful “Call Me Maybe” song that played everywere on the internet (as well as at last year’s Olympics). Carly Rae wore a Dyanthe dress with little mullety side details at the bottom, and she looks pretty good here even though she matched her eyeliner to her new auburn hair color.
Alyssa Milano disappointed last night in this one-shouldered, white number that looked like a dressy toga that one would wear to a stuffy tea party. Man, I used to have such a girlcrush on her during the “Who’s the Boss?” era. She seemed ageless for so long, but it’s obvious that the urge to Botox has inevitably taken charge.
Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland seemed out of place in this baby Pink Georges Chakra dress. She just had a baby last December though, so I have to give her kudos for the rocking bod.

At last year?s Cannes film Festival, Aishwarya Rai rode into town on a storm of controversy. Rai gave birth to a daughter, Aaradhya, in November 2011 and by the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Rai hadn?t lost the baby weight. So the Indian papers went crazy calling her ?fat? and saying that she was letting down her country by not keeping it tight or whatever. It was very depressing, and Rai did stay pretty covered-up throughout the CFF last year.
Well, she came back this year because she?s still a L?Oreal brand ambassador and because Cannes is celebrating 100 years of Bollywood. And guess what? Aishwarya lost the baby weight. She wore Elie Saab on the red carpet for Inside Llewyn Davis last night, and she looked gorgeous. Can this be over now? Can we stop talking about her weight now? I think the Indian media didn?t really know how to handle it last year ? their celebrity gossip culture was and is very possessive of ?their? stars, and it seemed to really bother people that one of their brightest stars didn?t look perfectly camera-ready. I hope Aishwarya didn?t take any of the criticism to heart.

Denise Richards has her hands full now that she’s caring for Charlie Sheen’s twin four year-old boys along with her three daughters aged nine, seven and two. She’s a single mom busting her butt, but she does just fine on Charlie’s $55,000 in child support a month. She reportedly turned down his offer for additional money now that she’s guardian to the twins. As for how she does it, Denise recently said that it’s hard work, but that she manages because she wants “to be there for them.” At least someone in that wacked-out extended family is sober and responsible. Here’s what she told US Weekly:
Us Weekly caught up with the star on Saturday, May 18, at Carolle’s Adopt-a-Doll event at the Grove in L.A., where she opened up about her fuller-than-usual house…
You just figure it out because you don’t have a choice. You have these children depending on you,” she explained to Us of how she manages. “You prioritize. I had children because I want to be a parent, and I want to be there for them.”
“I think my biggest challenge is [that] their different activities sometimes overlap,” she added, noting that she tries to attend everything. “I have a good schedule going. You just manage.”
For legal reasons, Richards couldn’t talk specifically about the situation with Mueller and Sheen’s kids — the twins were placed under her care earlier this month, when Mueller checked into rehab for the 20th time — but she could (and did) talk about her relationship with her ex. “My situation with Charlie is that we’ve gotten along for quite some time now, and it’s so much better,” she told Us. “There are a lot of feelings and emotions there, but at the end of the day, our daughters benefit from us getting along, and [I do], too.”
“I don’t want to have an unhealthy relationship with him, something toxic with a lot of animosity. Life’s too short for that,” she continued. “We actually enjoy hanging out, and we enjoy being with the kids.”

Denise knows how to hustle and gets headlines, but she’s been nothing but gracious about Charlie and their situation for years. Plus of course she has help, but I buy that she does most of the parenting on her own, and that she cares deeply about those kids. It takes someone with real heart to open their home to their ex’s kids. She is giving those boys a stable home after they were (presumably) neglected by their drug addict mom, Brooke Mueller, although the good news is that Brooke had nannies. Brooke has been trying to strip temporary custody of her boys away from Denise so that Brooke’s brother can get $55,000 a month in child support. Her second attempt to do so failed last week. Brooke’s lawyer was trying to argue that Denise was only watching the twins for the additional money, but the fact that Denise refused to accept any more money from Charlie blew a hole in that.
Brooke is still at Betty Ford rehab, which she chose because she was hoping to be besties with Lindsay Lohan. That’s not going well, according to a source quoted by Radar, who claims that Lohan goes out of her way to avoid Brooke. “Lindsay has said that Brooke is a drug addict, and wants nothing to do with her. Lindsay has told her treatment team to keep Brooke out of her group sessions.” What a bitch. Not that this 20th stint rehab would have stuck for Brooke, but Lindsay’s rejection has to be hard for her to take.
More details are coming out about Brooke’s addiction, with Radar recently reporting that she overdosed six times in the past two years. Brooke is said to have seen her boys for a few hours yesterday when they visited her in rehab along with a court appointed monitor.

Taylor Swift was the big winner at last night?s Billboard Music Awards, which shouldn?t come as some big shock. I didn?t watch them, but I saw some coverage and I was pleased to see that Swifty isn?t doing that ?OMG, LITTLE GIRL GASP!? thing that she usually does when she wins an award. Swifty ended up winning eight awards in total, including ?Top Artist?. You can read more about her winning streak here. I’d like to give her the award for “Best GIF of the BMAs” – go here to see.
Swifty wore this blue Zuhair Murad from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. I am? underwhelmed. Swifty has two consistent red carpet looks: glittery, sparkly and tight OR long and flowy and princess-y. I am happy that she didn?t do a full-length gown and I?m glad she chose a bright, pretty color. But the design of the dress is just kind of? boringly showgirl. And OMG, please Swifty, please change your bangs. They are terrible. Also: what?s going on with her bolt-ons? I know she had them at one point, but I?m starting to wonder if she had the first ones taken out and she had smaller ones put in.
Shania Twain was also there! I think so much of Shania?s beauty, and I have my fingers crossed that she hasn?t and won?t ruin her face with lots of plastic surgery and Botox and such. Shania wore Pavoni by Mikael D. Very princess-y. I bet Swifty wishes she had worn this.

Ben Affleck was the host on the season finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend. I’m not going to front like I even bothered to tape it. Just about the only celebrity that could get me to watch SNL again is Matt Damon, and he hasn’t hosted it since 2002. (He did do a short in 2011 with Val Kilmer, Katy Perry and Andy Samberg.) In contrast, this is Affleck’s fifth turn on SNL. He wants us to like him, he wants us to think he’s funny, and he’s willing to mock himself.
In his opening monologue (video below), Affleck referenced his Oscar acceptance speech and blamed “uncharitable souls” on the Internet for pointing out that he called his marriage “work.” You said it, Ben, no one put words in your mouth. You know this was his idea. He claimed that his speech was misconstrued, and then had Jennifer Garner come on stage to verify that she knew what he meant.
While winning an Oscar was a huge thrill, giving an Oscar acceptance speech is completely terrifying. You remember in my speech I thanked my wife while also saying the essence of marriage is work. And we’ve worked together on our marriage. And then some uncharitable souls on the Internet took that to mean that our marriage is some kind of manual labor. That’s not it, you define what’s important to you by what you dedicate your time to. And my wife knew exactly what I meant. And so to disprove the naysayers I asked her to come tonight.
Would you just now dispell this notion and tell the people what I meant?
Garner: Well yeah, it’s a way that we talk privately about how committed we are to our marriage. Not sure why you had to share it live to a billion people.
Affleck: Our marriage is the work of love. What would you have called it in a speech?
Garner: A gift. I would have said thank you to my wife, ‘our marriage is a gift.’
Affleck: Yeah, that’s one way to go, I guess. It’s a gift to the work of marriage which you gifted me with enormous work.
Garner: Well if we’re going to be completely honest here why don’t we go ahead and mention who does all of the work.
Affleck: That’s too inside the people don’t want to hear that…
I want to tell you how I wish I had ended that speech, ok? I couldn’t do any of the things I do without your support. You’re my angel, you’re my life and my world.
Garner: You’re reading that (shows cue card)
Affleck: I mean yeah, but it’s true. I love you.
Garner: Thank you. You’re a lot of work. [they kiss]
That was cute! It won me over. I thought it would be cheesier than it was, and it kind of speaks to their whole media strategy. Ben opens mouth, sticks foot in it, Jen saves his ass by being gracious and sweet about it.
As for the rest of the show, Pajiba has the rest of the skits for us as well as a nice overview. They call Ben “gracious” and “charmingly bumbling.” It was the last episode for castmembers Fred Armisen and Bill Hader and they got an emotional send off. Maybe they’ll get decent comedians to replace those two but it won’t be the same. Kanye West was the musical guest.

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart came out for the Billboard Music Awards. She performed with Pitbull they did their new song, which? have you heard it? It sucks. Much like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer is totally stuck at the height of her fame circa 2000-01. That?s how she dresses too ? check out this Zuhair Murad Couture gown. I only saw the top part and I was like, ?Oh, this is going to be surprisingly good.? But it?s not. The sheer skirt is terrible. I give her some credit for tailoring though ? the top part fits her like a glove. J.Lo is usually good about getting her gowns tailored for her body. Also bad: her makeup! That eyeshadow deserves to be specifically called out.
Jennifer looked like a Muppet for her performance too, and she had a costume malfunction with those terrible boots.
I don?t have the designer ID on Nicki Minaj?s dress. It?s okay ? the bodice is too tight, but I guess she liked it because it squished her boobs together. This is maybe the most uneventful she?s ever been on a carpet.
Here?s Kesha in Givenchy Spring 2013. Was she even wearing drawers? I don?t know and I don?t care. The funniest part is that she paired this revealing Givenchy with? cheap little wedges. Poor Kesha. Props to her for losing weight though ? her body looks the best it?s ever looked.
Here?s Stana Katic in Nicholas Oakwell Spring 2013 Couture. There were several jumpsuits on the carpet, and Stana?s was hardly the worse. I feel like the big hair turned her onesie into a costume though. She looks very Studio 54.
Kelly Rowland in Rami Al Ali Spring 2013 Couture. I don?t hate this at all, but with those bangs, I think she?s morphing into Gayle King (Oprah?s BFF).

Miley Cyrus hit the Billboard music awards while wearing this edgy but ultimately gaudy black-and-white jumpsuit from Balmain. Miley’s been hitting it out of the fashion ballpark lately with her recent punky look at the Met Gala as well as a cute Valentino jumpsuit for Maxim, but her luck has run out with this checkered, crocheted jumpsuit that is probably meant to look rock ‘n’ roll but comes off as part doily, part Indy 500 checkered flag, and part deck of cards. Miley’s brash and sassy attitude on the red carpet helps her pull off the look somewhat, but it’s still a major eye sore. Oh well, one can’t be perfect all the time.
Miley’s hair and makeup are similarly brash. Her makeup (and especially that bold red lipstick) goes with her overall look, but the blonde-piled-on-brunette aspect is throwing me off a bit. Those darker roots aren’t bad in and of themselves, but the back view looks like Miley’s hairdresser has overdone the underdone look. Does that make sense? Oh, and while Miley walks alone yet again, Liam is supposedly partying it up in Cannes. Miley’s wearing her ring here, but I just don’t care anymore. In fact, I’m more over this relationship than Liam seems to be at the moment.
Amber Rose looked stunning in a simple black dress that draped beautifully and ended in lovely fringe-esque detail at the bottom. Her legs look great, and of course, Wiz Khalifa is so proud to have her on his arm. These two are the cutest together.

She wore her best black leather strapless mini-dress paired with ridiculous black gladiator shoes and a few extra applications of liquid eyeliner. She accessorized with stacks of rhinestone (I’m guessing) bracelets and a giant cocktail ring to balance out her huge pear-shaped engagement ring. These two look perfect for each other, don’t they?
Also in black we have Hayden Panettiere, who was unfortunately not accompanied by her hulk of a man, boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko. We’ve heard for weeks that Hayden and Wladimir are engaged and yet she hasn’t been wearing a ring. They were just spotted together last week, so I’m not suggesting there’s trouble, just that I bet Wladimir isn’t as gung-ho about getting married as sources would like us to believe.
Hayden is in Halston Heritage. That’s a gorgeous dress that flatters her but it’s a little conservative for this event. I love her styling! Check out the little gems in her hair and her very understated blush-colored makeup accented with green eyeshadow. She’s so pretty.
Jennifer Morrison is also in black, in one of the unfortunate trends of the night – see through gowns. She’s in a designer I’ve never heard of before, Kristian Aadnevik, and this dress is just awful. It looks like something out of the Fredericks catalog. It’s little more than lingerie with a mesh skirt overlay. Morrison rarely gets it right and needs a new stylist. Something nice – her hair and makeup are well done.
Here’s another see through dress, although this certainly isn’t the last of them – Emmy Rossum in polkadot Zuhair Murad. This long fishtail gown is too fancy and fussy, and it looks bizarre with the mesh paneling. Plus her matronly updo is dragging this look down. She looks hot despite all that though, and I really like her makeup.
Jenny McCarthy wore her best black cotton tank top with a blue cut-out glitter skirt paired with platform ankle boots. Trash to the E. This is actually a whole “look” by Tom Ford. Maybe he’s letting his interns design now that he has a baby at home.
Finally Chloe Moretz, 16, was cute in a Fendi minidress. This dress reminds me of some of Emma Watson’s looks and I really like the bold mix of patterns. It would have worked better with some neutral shoes, those clunky checkerboard shoes are overkill.

These are maybe-probably the last photos of David Beckham playing professional soccer/football ever. On Saturday, David played his last game (probably) with Paris Saint-Germain in Paris, while his entire family watched from the stands. I keep saying ?maybe? because PSG has one more game left in the season, but it?s an away-game and the coach says Beckham probably isn?t going to play that game. So this was definitely his last home game, and probably his last professional game of his career. David was understandably emotional. Would you like to see his man-cry? It was really sweet.
PSG was up 3-1 over Brest and it was the 81st minute of the game when the coach substituted Beckham out of the game. Apparently, everything came to a halt as all of Beckham?s teammates stopped to clap for him and embrace him, and all of the fans rose to their feet to chant ?Beckham? and ?Merci David?. Beckham told fans after the game:
“I want to say thank you to everybody in Paris. To my teammates, to the staff, to the fans. It’s been very special to finish my career here. It could not have been any more special.”
Beckham announced on Thursday that he would retire at the end of the season, with PSG having already secured the French league title.
“I just feel that it’s the right time. I feel that I’ve achieved everything that I could in my career. I wanted to go out as a champion,” Beckham said. “I’ve finished my career in a team that has treated me like I’ve been here for 10 years.
?After 22 years of playing football I’m going to take a few months to enjoy time with my family,” Beckham said, before adding that he still wants to stay involved with PSG. “It’s been a very special place for me.”
After blowing a kiss to wife Victoria and his children in the stands as he walked off, there was time for one more hug – this one a bit longer from Ancelotti – before he sat down on the bench.
PSG won the league title last weekend, making Beckham the first English player to win the championship in four different countries after title success with Manchester United, Real Madrid and the Los Angeles Galaxy. Saturday’s match was Beckham’s 14th since joining PSG, and his fifth start.

What an incredible career he?s had. I mean that. Beckham has completely changed the sport, changed the profile of the sport, and changed how the media talks about the sport. Beckham was and is a game-changer, an iconoclast, an original who set his own path. There will be athletes following Beckham?s path for decades to come.

For several years in a row, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dominated the Cannes Film Festival. They would always walk the red carpet together, and it seemed like they made an effort to give photographers a variety of sexy/interesting poses to choose from. Sometimes Brad would grope Angelina on the carpet, something Angelina?s dress would so diaphanous it seemed like she was naked, and on and on? it was always a good show. But for the past two years, no Jolie-Pitt drama at Cannes (Brad was there solo last year, no Angie). So will Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban (and his flat-ironed hair) take their place?
Keith was in LA for the American Idol final last week, but he came quickly to Cannes once that whole ordeal was over. And last night was Keith and Nicole?s first red carpet walk at Cannes this year (she?s on the jury, so we saw her all last week). They posed and fondled and kissed each other all over the carpet for Inside Llewyn Davis, the new Coen Brothers film. Is this gross? Or funny? Or just? Keicole? Niceith? I don?t know. It?s not sexy. It?s kind of weird. But I?m enjoying it. I won?t buy what they?re selling, but it?s entertaining to watch.
Nicole?s dress is L?Wren Scott, one of her favorite designers these days. L?Wren is one of my favorites too, although I?m not crazy about this dress. The fabric looks like someone glitter-bombed an ugly Hawaiian shirt. And Nicole?s hair is terrible. She?s having HUGE hair issues at Cannes. Is it an issue of humidity? As for Keith? he always has terrible hair.
I?m also including a photo of Keith and Nicole earlier in the weekend, just going out for a meal or something. I LOVE her peasant blouse in that photo.

Here are the photos from last night?s Cannes premiere of Inside Llewyn Davis, the Coen Brothers? new film about folk music (sort of). I had forgotten that this film was getting a Cannes premiere, and I bet it was extremely well-received ? Cannes loves the Coens. The film stars Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund and the star is Oscar Isaac (as Llewyn Davis). So, obviously, the REAL star is Justin Timberlake. And by that I mean that the real star of the red carpet is JT?s wife Jessica Biel. This is what Biel wore to her first Cannes Film Festival red carpet as Justin?s wife. She wore a terrible Marchesa dress that looks like a swan went through a car wash. I almost feel sympathy for Jessica because of this terrible dress. But then I remember? she had her choice of frocks. She actually wanted to wear this. WHY?! Something nice: I?m glad that we?re no longer staring at those terrible bangs.
Here?s Carey Mulligan in Vionnet (that?s Oscar Isaac beside her). I don?t hate this, and I don?t love it either. It?s like a deconstructed sack dress, right? Totally shapeless. And weird.
Justin Timberlake with Carey? he didn?t walk the carpet with his wife. Because OMG, are we still doing this?! The jig is up. We know you?re married. We saw your stupid People Mag cover for your wedding. Just walk the carpet together. I will give Justin credit for one thing though ? his tuxedo is beautiful. He?s one of the most best-dressed men at Cannes.
Kirsten Dunst was there to support her man too. Garrett Hedlund and Kiki didn?t walk the carpet together either, but I?m not as mad at them because they actually do seem to keep their relationship undercover for the most part. Kiki wore Michael van der Ham Fall 2013 and it?s very fug and old-ladyish.
Bonus Christoph Waltz! He?s on the jury this year, that?s why he?s there. I like his frames!

I guess I sort of have to give it to Madonna. She?s 54 years old and her thighs look better than mine. These are photos of Madge at the Billboard Music Awards. This is how she walked the carpet, this is how she sat in the audience, this is how to received her awards for ?Top Touring Artist? and ?Top Dance Album? and this is how she posed for the press. Madonna didn?t feel like putting on a skirt, so she didn?t. She didn?t feel like changing her costume, so she didn?t. She wore the same garter belt and fishnet whatever the whole night. And it?s fine. Just give in to it. Madge thinks she?s being controversial. Let her think that.
I do want to say something about her face though ? remember when her face looked painful? She had chicken cutlet cheekbone fillers inserted or she had a ribbon lift or something, and her face looked so painful for several years. But it doesn?t anymore. She?s had to let go of her oversized cheekbones, but her face looks softer. I?m sure she?s had so much work done, but it?s better work than she got a few years ago.
I?m also including photos of Celine Dion (she?s 45!) in Atelier Versace. God, doesn?t Celine look amazing? I wouldn?t be surprised if Celine gets some occasional Botox, but I appreciate that she doesn?t look waxy or frozen. This Versace is great on her too ? very few women could pull off that color.

You’re not going to believe this but Paris Hilton is still a self-absorbed, vapid bitch. At the premiere ofThe Bling Ringin Cannes, Paris, who’s in the film for a split second for a nightclub scene and who lent Sofia Coppola her house to film in, described the chilling effect the movie had on her.
“I was really emotional watching it,” Hilton confessed to me last night at the movie’s hot-ticket Nikki Beach after-party. “During some parts of it, I literally had tears in my eyes and I wanted to cry. I knew what happened with the burglaries, but I had never actually seen it ? so watching it happen, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this really happened to me. These kids were really in my house and did this to me.’ It’s so violating. It just made me really angry and upset, and when I see these kids, I want to, like, slap them.” Vulture
A bunch of kids robbed her house while she was away but if you listened to her talk about it, it’s like they snuck in while she slept, tied her up and raped her.
On the bright side, everyone gets to see her house in the movie.
“I designed everything in the house, so it was really cool to see it on film,” she said. It shows: Hilton’s house is a tribute to Hilton herself, and as the celebrity-obsessed Bling Ringers raid her walk-in shoe closet and party in her “nightclub room,” Hilton’s limpid face stares back at them, emblazoned on all the pillows, artwork, and walls. “That house is like my dream house,” she told me. “I worked so hard on every detail.”
I take it by “dream” she means “nightmare.” If I had to walk through that house, I’d be punching every pillow with her face on it while I made my way to the bathroom to puke from disgust.

It?s one of the music industry?s biggest nights of the year, and earlier this evening Emmy Rossum made her arrival at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards (May 19).
The ?Shameless? star came ready to have a great time and got all gussied up in some top-notch designer duds as she headed inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
While most of the emphasis will be on who wins and what they?re wearing, there?s also a stable full of top acts gearing up to take the stage for live performances.
Among those slated to rock are Lil Wayne, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera with Pitbull, and Selena Gomez.

Though their relationship status seems to be impossible to know for sure, it seems Selena and the Biebs are at least friendly, as the pair are seated next to each other at the ceremony.

Apologies for the lack of updates the last few days — after a brief misunderstanding with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and the Ascena Retail Group, Inc., I have been released on my own recognizance with the understanding that I am not allowed within 500 feet of a Dress Barn or any of its other retail chains. It’s classic AND trendy, and an easy way to add color and texture to a neutral outfit. Plus the ones with metal cap-toes can really do a number on a kidney if you get a clean shot in while you’re being wrongfully detained.
