Ready to take her relationship to the next level, Milla Jovovich has picked out a date for her wedding to filmmaker beau Paul W.S. Anderson.
After being engaged for an impressive six years, the pair will tie the knot during a ceremony planned for August 22nd.
Of her upcoming nuptials, Jovovich says, “We’re having an intimate wedding with a classical Spanish band at our house in the Hollywood Hills. Paul’s family are flying in from England.”
This will mark the third go at marriage for Miss Jovovich, who first married actor Shawn Andrews at the young age of 16-years-old. She also was formerly wed to French director Luc Besson.

Always up for a red carpet walk, Kelly Brook was spotted out for the European premiere of “The Ugly Truth” in London, England on Tuesday (August 4).
Held at the Vue Leicester Square, the glamour babe had to make a quick adjustment to her dress before continuing to strike a few sexy poses for photogs lining the theater entrance.
The outing comes shortly after Miss Brook made a big change in the lifestyle department – as she moved in with her Rugby stud beau Danny Cipriani.
Together since September of last year, the pair reportedly scooped up a three-bedroom cottage in south-west London.

Hard at work on her new movie, Kristen Bell was spotted filming a scene for “You Again” in Los Angeles on Tuesday (August 4).
Co-starring Odette Yustman and Sigourney Weaver, the film sees “a young woman realize her brother is about to marry the girl who bullied her in high school, so she sets out to expose the fiance’s true colors.”
Aside from “You Again,” Miss Bell also stars in the upcoming movie “Astro Boy,” which hits theaters on October 23, 2009.
Asked what she enjoyed most about playing her character in the animated flick, Kristen replied, “I really enjoyed that she has so many layers ‘cause she really tried to grow up too fast, and she’s sort of the den mother. She’s the maternal aspect for all these runaway kids. And, I can very much relate to that young maternal instinct. She also has a sense of protection for them, and she’s pretty sassy and opinionated, and keeps a very tough exterior. But, throughout the course of the movie, you learn a lot more about her and learn that she’s a real softy, on the inside. You really see who she is.”

Continuing along with a full day of promotional duties, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted paying a visit to MTV studios in New York City on Tuesday (August 4).
Arriving in a pretty purple ensemble which she wore to the “Today” show earlier in the morning, the “High School Musical” hottie changed into an all-white outfit with a skinny brown belt as she dropped by “It’s On with Alexa Chung”.
As for her visit to the “Today” show, Miss Hudgens chatted about her upcoming movie, “Bandslam,” which hits theaters this Friday (August 7).
Talking about playing a rocker chick, Nessa explained, “My fingers got a little bit hurt, got thick callouses, roughened up, but I had a blast…”
During the course of the interview, she also confirmed that all is well in the love department, as she’s still with Zac Efron.

Vanity Fair?s September issue has been devoted as ?The Style Issue? for several years now. Yesterday, we even got a sneak peek at the dual VF covers - one for Michael Jackson, one for Farrah Fawcett. Now Vanity Fair online has released this year?s ?Best Dressed? list. While I always enjoy this feature, and the photo spread that goes along with the list, I do have some nit-picking. VF puts way too much emphasis on Europeans, and seems to reward the most ?over the top? high-fashion trendsetters. Don?t get me wrong, I enjoy looking at high fashion, but I like a ?best dressed? list that actually features people who look stunning in a well-cut suit, or simple dress.

VF should be ashamed of themselves for not including Jon Hamm on the list. That man has done for retro men?s fashion what Sarah Jessica Parker did for expensive shoes. And Renee Zellweger on the “Hall of Fame”? For real? But of course, the thing most people are focused on is Angelina Jolie?s absence on the list. She?s made it in past years, usually as part of the ?best dressed couple? with Brad. It?s as if Angelina?s red carpet appearances in a string of shapeless, glittery sacks in various dark or neutral colors isn?t considered ?high fashion?. At least designers think she’s “easy”. Shocking!
Other than that, I agree with many of the names on the list. Michelle Obama is now some kind of fashion icon, and VF points out all of the up-and-coming, or simply off-beat, designers that are getting worldwide notice because Michelle has brought their designs front and center: Isabel Toledo, Jason Wu, Thakoon Panichgul, Junya Watanabe, Maria Cornejo, Jasmin Shokrian, Hanii Y, and Prova. It?s enough to make Oscar de la Renta say something else bitchy about Michelle?s fashion!

Taking full advantage of her beautiful surroundings, Avril Lavigne was spotted out for a walk on the beach in St. Tropez, France yesterday (August 3).
The “Complicated” chick looked a bit annoyed to see a few paparazzi waiting for her during her stroll, sporting a trucker cap and oversized sunglasses.
As for her next album, Ms. Lavigne has expressed her desire to calm things down a bit and try her hand at a rootsy-acoustic sound.
She explained, “A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal. It’s a lot different from anything I’ve done before. It’s not a pop-rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling.”
And while many of her contemporaries are going buck wild with collaborations, Avril says she’s keeping it simple. “I’m kind of just keeping it in the family with all of my close friends. I started this record off really slow, just writing songs at home on my piano. I didn’t work with a ton of people this time.”

Gearing up for her next album Mi Plan, Nelly Furtado was spotted rocking the stage at Mexico City’s Hard Rock Live last night (August 3).
The “Promiscuous” songstress looked to be in fine form as she worked the crowd while performing a hit-laden set list complete with plenty of sexy dance moves.
Speaking of her upcoming album, Nelly told press that this time around, she’s singing only in Spanish as it has given her a new creative boost.
“I’ve always sung in, well, three languages for the past five years. I’ve been singing in Portuguese and English since I was 2 years old, so I really love being a universal artist. I love being a world artist, so it’s just my next step really. The Spanish project is just my next step to get to [being] 80 years old onstage, singing something. This is my next step in the puzzle.”
She added, “The songs are all about amor. They are all about love, and it’s my first album with more love songs. They’re really like songs that everybody can relate to about love and life and everyday living, just the things you go through. So basically, I found that once I started writing songs in Spanish, I had a new voice.”

Taking their fiercely popular romantic comedy across the pond, Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler were spotted at the UK premiere of “The Ugly Truth.”
The “27 Dresses” actress and the “P.S. I Love You” stud both looked amazing as they arrived at the Vue West End Theatre in London, England to greet the mass of paparazzi and fans waiting for them.
Mr. Butler kept it classic in a dark suit with a white button-up shirt and a circa-1984 thin necktie while Katherine added some color to the scene in a sparkly green dress.
“The Ugly Truth” has been a massive hit everywhere else it’s been released, so the folks over in England are sure to love it as well.

I?m not some huge fan of either Ashton Kutcher or Demi Moore, but how cute are they in these pictures? Demi and Ashton came out for the premiere of Spread in Los Angeles last night, and both of them are looking great. Demi especially - that color looks amazing on her, and it seems like Ashton can?t keep his eyes or his hands off of her. Sweet. They really do seem to love each other. I?d love to see them adopt or have a baby together, I bet that would only bring them closer.
To promote his role in Spread, which is a ?sex comedy centered on a serial womanizer and his jilted lover?, Ashton appeared on The Tonight Show with Conan O?Brien. He told a funny-weird story about how Demi?s famous doll collection freaks him out. Demi has something crazy like 3,000 dolls, mostly porcelain, insured for more than $2 million. Rumors abound that Demi has rooms - or maybe even an entire house - devoted to her doll collection. But having an alleged home devoted to her dolls isn?t enough - no, Demi makes Ashton sleep with these little life-like dolls in their bedroom:
It?s a miracle Ashton Kutcher manages to sleep at night. The actor admits he’s “freaked out” by wife Demi Moore’s collection of lifelike dolls - not least the terrifying shotgun-wielding granny.
Having been scared witless as a kid watching the Child’s Play films - featuring evil serial-killing doll Chucky - Ashton says he struggles to keep his nerve around his wife’s inanimate pals, especially the ones located in their bedroom.
He told US TV host CONAN O’BRIEN: “They upset me - I saw Chucky! These things freak me out, man, and she’s got like thousands of them. They’re everywhere - and they’re freaky. I think the dolls have souls. And they’re always looking at you - we have some in the bedroom and that makes things just weird. Some of these things are worth a lot of money apparently but they frighten me a little bit.”
Ashton also revealed he dreams of being best buddies with President BARACK OBAMA. He added: “I have dreams that we’re, like, pals - we like drink beers together, Michelle gets upset that we’re staying out too late. I had a dream that we were flying in Air Force One and a plane came up next to us and started shooting us.?

I think that dreaming about Barack Obama is actually kind of funny. I always get a kick out of dreams about famous people. It?s always totally random, for me, at least. Like, I?m obsessed with Gerard Butler during the day, but at night I have a sex dream about Keith Olbermann. We were getting busy on a balcony, surrounded by the remnants of a party. Strange. And yet sexy!
As I was researching Demi?s doll collection, I found this fascinating article from Entertainment Weekly. Apparently, it was Demi?s ex-husband Bruce Willis who got her started on dolls. When they first fell in love, Bruce bought Demi two Anne Mitrani ?sculpture? dolls, at a price of $32,000. Mitrani dolls are famous for their lifelike appearance, some even claim that it feels like ?you’re looking at a real person.? That, apparently, was the beginning of Demi?s collection, and Demi has spent literally millions of dollars collecting the rarest and most precious dolls in the world. It?s an interesting hobby/collection to have, but I do feel badly for Ashton. Maybe they could work out a compromise - no dolls in the bedroom.
UPDATE: I just thought this was a cute addition to the story - when US Weekly spoke to Ashton last night, he wasn’t sure if the rumors were true that Demi might be taking his last name to celebrate their fourth anniversary. He told US: “She hasn’t told me, so you might be revealing a secret… I think it would be fantastic, but at the same time, it’s a name, you know? Like, call me Mr. Moore, I don’t care. I’ve been called a lot worse!” Ashton also says that Demi “becomes more beautiful to me by the minute and I don’t know what it is. She’s got the magic thing.”

Mischa must have been thrilled someone would actually follow her boring ass around town. She was probably calling her other friends to tell them how popular she is. Odds are it’s not even a real stalker either. It’s really just AT&T calling about long distance service. That conversation must be confusing as hell for them.

Out for another day’s filming, Jennifer Aniston was on location for “The Bounty” in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday (August 4).
The former “Friends” star looked angelic in a flowing white dress, accompanied by her pet pooch as she readied to shoot a few scenes.
Meanwhile, Miss Aniston recently chatted with Elle magazine for their September issue, as she explained the key role humor has played in some of her more difficult situations.
Jen tells, “I remember being 7 and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, ‘Oh, honey, you’re so funny.’ So, she doesn’t lie to me… She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength.”

Things aren’t getting better either. According to the IRS, Nicolas Cage owes $6.2 million in unpaid taxes from 2007. That year he had the pleasure of being in Ghost Rider and Grindhouse. He’s planning to raise the money by selling off his homes in Louisiana and Hollywood.
The bright side in all this is his upcoming film Kick-Ass is supposed to be awesome. The downside is that Ghost Rider 2 is still in development. That’s like escaping a burning building only to shoot yourself in the face the next day.

Have you ever wanted to see Sienna Miller?s side-boob? No? Well, you?re in luck! While promoting G.I. Joe in New York yesterday - which, by the way, is so bad the studio isn?t even showing it to reviewers - Sienna Miller got some questions about her ex-fianc Jude Law and his baby-mama drama. To her credit, Sienna defended Jude and urged privacy, saying, ?I don’t think it’s any of our business to talk about that. It’s not mine and it’s not anyone’s. It’s a very private matter, I think.? I?m actually a little shocked that she didn?t reference the nanny, or how she, Sienna, is the real victim. So, yeah. I?ll give her credit for being nice and respectful about her ex.
In other Sienna news, she sat down for a pretty tough interview with the Guardian recently, and the person interviewing her really didn?t let her get away with anything. First, the Guardian journalist declares that G.I. Joe is ?insultingly inane, cynically commercial, and almost unwatchably awful.? So, of course, once Sienna found out that the interviewer didn?t like the film, Sienna had to bad-mouth her paycheck a little too, saying ?Well, if these films are well done I can find them quite entertaining? But no, I prefer indie, arty films really. It’s not the kind of film I’d normally go and see.? Here are some of the highlights from the Guardian interview:
On Balthazar Getty and being called a ?homewrecker?: “I don’t really want to talk about it,” she says quietly, when I bring up the rumpus of last summer. “I just don’t need that, I really don’t. It was like, I ? well, I experienced the judgment of a lot of people ? and deservedly so.” She stares at the floor, twisting her shoulders. “So that’s it.”
How it would all be different if she was a man, or, say, Johnny Depp : ?Well, it is different? It’s difficult being a woman in this ? in any ? business. I don’t think we live in a particularly equal society. But sometimes that’s down to our own behaviour.” I ask in what way. “Oh, this is such a deep conversation!” she exclaims, throwing her head back. “And I just know I’m going to say the wrong thing. I can feel it coming? I’m not complaining? I just think it’s, uh, interesting. The truth is, if you’re a man it is a lot easier. I would love to be, you know, Johnny Depp; be a great actor and do great choices and be very private, I would love that. But it’s just not ? well, you become a target for a certain kind of attention, and it’s hard to shake. And I’ve done a lot of things that have probably inadvertently attracted attention. All sorts of things ? just generally the way I live my life, going out, getting pissed, being seen. So I suppose my behaviour, if you look at it from the outside, would seem as if I’ve somehow contributed towards it, or wanted it.”
On ?playing the game? with the paparazzi: ?They don’t leave you alone. I’ve tried it, and they still follow you all day.” She pauses and then, to my surprise, she admits honestly: “I don’t know. I just don’t want to play the game. Which is stupid, probably, and has caused me a lot of problems. But I just found it really difficult, as a person. Because I didn’t want to adapt, I didn’t want to conform. I didn’t want my life to change. I was probably greedy in thinking that I could have a career and work and stay exactly the same, and have my life and do what I wanted in it. And, actually, that was really naive. I think I was very naive? I’m basically a mass of contradictions. I’ve said things and meant them, but I’m obviously a very confused person who has no idea how they feel about things.”
On being called a hypocrite: She laughs. “I know, I just worry because I know I say a lot, often. I’ve been so careless and loose lipped. Whatever I say, I get myself into trouble. And you know, it doesn’t bother me ? but my mother reads it, and just goes, please! It’s more about the people that get affected around me. I think I’d like to protect myself maybe a little bit better, because the repercussions are often quite upsetting ? the repercussions of my own mouth upon myself ? and I get bollockings. It’s just a lot of drama for ? you know, I could keep my opinions to myself, or share them with people who aren’t writing them down. And not change my personality, but be a little bit more guarded and self-protective. But I’m not . . . I try, but I’m not very good at it.”
On taking a media-training course: The producer of GI Joe, she joked last year, had threatened to get her lessons in how to conduct herself in an interview ? “and he was only half-joking”. I’m starting to wonder if he saw it through. “They did talk about media training, but,” she adds quickly, looking embarrassed, “I didn’t do it.”

The Johnny Depp part made me angry. It reminded me of the Jessica Biel-Meryl Streep thing. Yes, I get that technically Jessica Biel was trying to say how much she admired Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett, but I was left with the impression that, in Jessica?s mind, she wouldn?t ever have a Meryl Streep-type career because she?s so gorgeous. I feel the same way about Sienna name-dropping Johnny Depp. Obviously, Johnny is an actor adored by other actors, and of course Depp?s name will be repeated over and over by his fellow actors. But taken in context in Sienna?s interview, she sounds like she?s saying that her behavior would be taken differently if she were a man. I am a total dog lover, but these Afghan hounds are not cute. Don?t worry, because they?re not Jessica?s dogs. The dogs belong to Ken Paves, one of Jessica?s closest friends, and the hair stylist who consistently makes her look like a Houston hooker. It?s self-generating. When I was younger I would take it personally; it was such an injustice to me. As a man or as a woman I don?t know how they could sit there and do it. I mean, [the stories] are consciously fabricated and I don?t know how you could do that.?
On moving around so much: Pitt insists that they love it. ?Everywhere is interesting in its own way, each place has its own feel and something to offer: you pick up something, the kids are picking up something. They have this world view which we are very proud and happy that we are able to provide.?
On how the kids deal with their parents? fame: ?We?re still trying to negotiate how we explain to them what we do. It?s not strange to them that their parents will come on television. And it?s not strange for them to walk outside and for there to be a photographer. They just think if there is printed material [as he disdainfully refers to the gossip mags] hanging around, their parents might be on the cover.? Surely they must be tempted to take a peek? ?No, there?s no point.?
On family time: ?Oh, we get peace in our lives. We got out here a couple of days early with the family and we get to hang out in a place in Provence. We?re pretty good at it. You carve out that time for the family. Do we get a little silence with the kids? No, not that kind of silence ? silence is over at home, but we like that chaos??
On German beer (again): ?Berlin is not a stranger to us. I like the beer, as you can see from this morning. The beer is good.?
On working with Quentin Tarantino: ?When you get into a Tarantino film he has all the back story lined up for you. It?s all teed off and it?s really well thought out. Other films? Let me think. That requires memory and I?m struggling with that right now? Listen, I like a bit of extreme and I?m always looking for other areas and pushing in different directions, but it?s kind of incumbent on what comes your way to pick from.?
On Make It Right NOLA, Brad?s affordable housing project in for the lower 9th Ward in New Orleans: ?It?s going really well? By the end of the year we will have 100 homes and it will be the greenest, most intelligently designed neighbourhood in the United States. We have families coming in and their electric bills are $8, $12. It?s a big deal for anyone, but for a low-income family, it?s life-changing. It?s also a big deal because it?s proving [green] technology at all strata. It?s amazing and I thank everyone who?s been involved.?
On his future as an actor: ?I think [acting] is a younger man?s game; there are fewer interesting parts for older people and we all get older. But I feel like I?ve done it. I?ve kind of had my time and that?s quite freeing.?
Any acting dreams left? ?Yes, of course there are,? he smiles. ?But I?ll do them first and then we?ll talk about them.?

Yeah, Brad really sticks with his talking points for the most part. I feel like I?ve read parts of this interview before, but I?d imagine if you?re doing 40 interviews a day for a week, every question and every answer sounds the same. I did find Brad?s answers on his future as an actor very interesting. Could Brad be joining Angelina in her refrain of ?maybe I?ll quit sometime soon?? Oh, right. Brad has nineteen projects in various stages of development. He?s not quitting Hollywood for a while.
