A few days ago, Denise Richards thought it would be cute and funny to post a maskless photo to her Instagram Stories. It wasn?t just any maskless photo the photo was taken while she was on a plane, mid-flight. Not only that, she posted a message saying that she was ?hiding under a hoody? and a ?huge winter coat.? She added: ?Please. Thicker than any mask!!? Meaning, she doesn?t need to wear a mask because she?s wearing a thick coat? And she breathes through the coat, except she didn?t do that in the photo she posted?

Denise Richards latest project, The Secret Lives of Cheerleaders, premiered last night on Lifetime. Denise plays the mom who forces her teenage daughter to try out for the squad. As the title suggests, the movie is Mean Girls who cheer, but like dark pom-pom cage-fighting kind of bullying. In real life, Denise is mom to two teenage daughters, Sam, 15, and Lola, 14 (her youngest, Eloise, is seven). I?m sure Denise didn?t force her girls on to the cheer squad, but she did give them phones, which she thinks might be just as bad. She said this in an interview with Extra, below.
What Denise said about social media was:
I feel like it?s so difficult now, even more so difficult for kids today because of social media.
I think so too and I?m definitely seeing that with my own daughters, you know, theres just so much access and they can see everything and hear everything. It?s very different and I think it?s a lot of pressure on kids now.

Yes. I?ve taken it away several times. I feel like the biggest mistake I ever made was given them phones
We talked about Kelly Ripa and Jerry O?Connell not giving their kids phones for as long as they could. But their discussion was centered more around their kids getting lost on the phone and never seeing them again, not bullying, which it sounds like what Denise is suggesting is going on. But it?s not really the phone that?s the problem, is it? Because I assume these kids have access to computers and tablets. If they want to get into social media, I don?t know that parents can effectively stop them. As we discussed on the Alex Rodriguez post, kids will find a way. I think maybe educating myself about what?s out there will be a better course for me than trying to eliminate my kids? access.
I remember being so grateful when the school bell rang, and I could walk away from all the high school drama for the day. I couldn?t imagine what it would be like to have it follow me home by way of social media. And I know that if kids want to come for each other, they?ll come for everyone in the family, which would make having a mom on a realty show a liability. And let?s not even start with their dad, Charlie Sheen. Could you imagine what kids who want to be hurtful lob at Sam and Lola? They have to fight social media fires on three fronts oof. It might be easier to just not let them be teenagers. ?Happy Birthday, Honey! Today you?re 22.? ?But yesterday I was 11?? ?Don?t argue with me, I?m your mother.?

I know the title sounds sketchy, but thats the gist of this whole story. Denise Richards was at the RHOBH reunion looking like she had a goiter, or enlarged thyroid, which can be a non-specific indicator of a thyroid problem. You can see a photo of that on Peoples site, its really obvious-looking. Fans pointed it out to her and so she went on a gluten free diet because, she claims, gluten is toxic. This helped her thyroid improve or something. She wrote all of this to accompany the photo below this story, which she posted to Instagram.
It?s amazing to me in a short time eliminating gluten from my diet how much my thyroid has changed. A few of you pointed out after the #RHOBH reunion that my thyroid was enlarged. You were right, it was something I ignored until pointed out. I had no idea how much our diet really can affect our body and for me how toxic gluten really is I thank all of you who sent me messages. #selfcare
Theres no news as to whether she went to a doctor and got her thyroid tested. To be fair, its possible she went to an endocrinologist and doesnt want to give specifics. I know that thyroid tests arent always accurate depending on which ones youre taking (Im not going to get into specifics, but this article has more ). There isnt a lot of science I could find that links gluten intolerance or celiac disease with thyroid problems, but there is at least one study that found a gluten free diet improved thyroid function. They are both autoimmune conditions which can overlap. I do think people go gluten free unnecessarily, but it doesnt hurt to try different elimination diets when youre having health problems. If this helped Denise to reduce her hyperthyroidism, good for her.
Denise is also in some kind of feud with Camille Grammer, whom Denise claims said racist stuff during a RHOBH taping which was never aired or specified. Camille was reportedly confronted about it by Andy Cohen during the reunion, also in a segment that didnt make it to air. Camille supposedly said, do you want me feel sorry about it because Im a white woman? YES. Thats how racism works asshole. Andy likely decided not to fire Camille and thats why they her remarks werent on the show. I wish producers and showrunners would stop protecting racists.Also, from what I can find RHOBH hasnt had a non-white cast member.

I remember reading Denise Richards 2006 petition for a restraining order against Charlie Sheen after she filed for divorce. The Smoking Gun published it, they used to be the go-to outlet before TMZ, and it seemed outrageous. Sheen had threatened to have her killed, he was physically abusive to her, he told her abort their child and he regularly solicited sex online. Outlets claimed that Denise must have been exaggerating because it belied belief. Then we saw Charlies behavior during his 2011 breakdown and Denises court documents were all too plausible. Denise dealt with a lot, she even managed to co-parent with Charlie until he inevitably starting being abusive to her again, and shes letting him have see their daughters Sam, 14, and Lola, 13. In a new interview with People, Denise is nothing but gracious about Charlie, as shes been all along. Last fall she remarried and she is currently on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
?I was never bitter about my divorce,? says Richards
?Going through everything, it changed me,? she adds. ?But I love life and I?m a glass-half-full kind of person. And I did my best to rise above it.?
Still, Richards, 47, admits that being pulled into a difficult time in Sheen?s life (he was open about a drug and alcohol relapse and went on bizarre rants about tiger?s blood and winning) was ?extremely disheartening.?
?Times were extremely negative and I would have to tell myself, this too shall pass,? she says.
Now, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is happily remarried to wellness practitioner Aaron Phypers, whom she met in 2017 and wed last September. And she?s grateful for the lessons she?s learned in life and love.
?We have an amazing relationship,? Richards says of Phypers. ?We love each other for who we are and we don?t judge each other. And for him to embrace a single woman with [three] daughters and an ex-husband with a wonderfully colorful past, it?s a lot. That made me fall in love with him even more.
Phypers ?is amazing with the girls,? she adds. ?He?s such a great stepdad, and they?re close to him.?
When it comes to Sheen now, Richards says despite their once contentious relationship, she is supportive of her ex, who is now sober, as well as his connection with their daughters.
?I?m supportive of the girls having a relationship with their dad,? she says. ?Whatever is going on with a couple, the children should not be privy to it. Obviously, there are times when emotions might flare up. But we?re human beings and we make mistakes. I know that when someone is struggling with addiction, sometimes choices are made that are not in the best judgment, and I have empathy for that. I want Charlie to be the best person and father he can be.?

Shes been through so much and shes always been so gracious about it. I doubt I could be like that if I had to coparent with Charlie Sheen. I would want all visits with the kids to be court monitored visits as well.
Denise has another daughter, 7-year-old Eloise, whom she adopted as an infant. Denise told People that Eloise has a chromosomal disorder and that she has developmental delays. She can say only a handful of words and is emotionally challenged. Denise is pragmatic about that too. She told People You take care of your children no matter what is going on with them.

Sheen will be chatting with the Today show this morning to officially reveal the news, and interestingly enough, last week Denise chatted about their relationship — and the kind of guy Charlie was when they first got married. ?Charlie, when I married him, he wasn?t a bad boy,” she said on the Allegedly With Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss podcast. “He was sober for almost four years. He was a very different person. His lifestyle was very, very different. He was a former bad boy, I guess.”

As Kaiser covered earlier today, Charlie Sheen announced on The Today Show that he was diagnosed with HIV four years ago. He was outed in the emails which were leaked during the Sony Hack, and The National Enquirer has been running blind items about a major star with HIV. The Enquirer will put Charlie’s HIV status on their upcoming cover, and so he spoke to the press to try and get ahead of them.
Bree Olsen, a porn star who dated Charlie in 2011, has tweeted that she knew nothing about his diagnosis ahead of time and that she recently went in for an HIV test. She’s been tested every year and come up clean, so it looks like she’s in the clear. The National Enquirer is set to report [via Radar] that Charlie exposed at least four women to the virus, which wouldn’t surprise me in the least. He admitted to Matt Lauer that he’d had unprotected sex with two women but that they both knew his HIV status ahead of time. That seems unlikely.
Radar Online reports that Charlie’s most recent ex wife, Brooke Mueller, and his twin boys, Max and Bob, 6, are HIV negative and did not contract the virus from Charlie. That’s a relief. Radar also has some crazy texts from Brooke to Charlie’s now-deceased ex assistant, blaming her relapse in 2011 on learning about Charlie’s HIV diagnosis. She wrote “I couldn?t handle the HIV news… I started doing heavy drugs with Charlie, staying up for days and it made my brain misfire.” So it’s Charlie’s fault she’s a drug addict? That reminds me of this interview the two of them did in late 2011, which would have been right around that time.
Charlie’s second ex wife, Denise Richards, told Access Hollywood that she’s known about Charlie’s HIV status for years and that both she and their girls, Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, are not infected. A source close to Denise also told Access Hollywood that the two “not been intimate” since their 2006 divorce. Charlie still trashes Denise in the press, evicted her last year from the home he bought her, and tried to cut her child support despite the fact that she’s barely said a bad word against him. I’m so glad that Denise doesn’t have HIV.

Denise Richards is often very orange and fake baked looking. Back in 2011 I did a post about it, and last year, around June, she was super orange again. So she probably gets spray tans starting around spring, and this is her freshly baked Easter look. Also, while she may look just really “tan” here, she looks more orange in the photos posted on Radar Online. In fact she looks almost day-glow there.
Radar is concern trolling about Denise being very thin, but she’s been tiny like that for a while. I think she’s one of those people who doesn’t eat when they’re stressed out, damn them. One of my friends is like that, she forgets to eat. That impresses me because I have to try not to eat when I’m stressed.
Denise of course has a lot of reasons to be stressed. Her ex is dragging her to court to try to reduce child support, at the same time he’s throwing six figure parties and taking his p0rn star fiance on private jets and lavish trips. Charlie is also kicking Denise and her three kids out of the home he purchased for her in their gated neighborhood. In order to find affordable housing Denise will either have to move her daughters to another school or face an hour long commute each way.
Also, did you see Kaiser’s excellent story earlier today about which celebrities have arrangements with the paparazzi? Denise Richards was mentioned as someone who regularly tips off photographers. She must have made sure she was extra orange for this special occasion. One of the last times she was papped out she looked all normal and pale.
Here is how Denise looked in February. I get the impression that she saw these photos and decided that the next time she called the paps she would be nice and “tan”.

Things have been relatively quiet on the Charlie Sheen front, and I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. Charlie hasn’t been tweet-ranting, and he hasn’t posted any ominous threats to his last two ex wives, as he’s been known to do. A couple of weeks ago, behind the scenes, he allegedly threatened to evict Denise Richards and her three daughters from the mansion he purchased from her in their Mulholland gated community. Charlie has a new p0rn-star girlfriend who seems to be trying to edge Denise out, although Charlie may just be pulling her strings, it’s hard to tell. Whatever is going on, Denise is seeing the signs and she’s trying to extract herself from the situation. Radar reports that Denise is looking for another place to live.
An exasperated Denise Richards has decided to move out of her posh mansion inside Beverly Hills? exclusive Mulholland Estates after her ex-husband Charlie Sheen threatened to evict the mother of his two daughters, RadarOnline.com has learned.
We broke the story: Sheen?s porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi convinced the Anger Management star to evict her from the $7 million dollar house she and their daughter?s, Sam and Lola have lived in for about 12 months.
Sheen also lives in the same gated community.
?Brett wants Denise out of the neighborhood because she is jealous of her,? a source close to Rossi previously told us.
Last week, Denise was spotted ?out with her real estate agent in Beverly Hills and Bel Air. She is currently looking for a house to lease or buy and has looked at several homes in gated communities but none were at Mulholland Estates,? an insider said.
?Her real estate agent has indicated to other brokers that if she would like to proceed, Denise would want to move as quickly as possible…”
Said our source: ?The sad thing is that before Brett came on the scene, Charlie had been spending time with Sam and Lola. As soon as they began dating, he basically disappeared from their life.
?Brett doesn?t want him to spend time with the girls if Denise is present.
?The problem is, their court ordered custody agreement dictates that Denise always be present when Charlie is with the girls. He has only spent about ten minutes with them in the last month.?

Radar reports that Denise’s current home is a whopping 9,000 square feet with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It sounds incredible, but she has to deal with Charlie’s drama to live there, and it doesn’t seem worth it.
Last week, there were several clues that indicated that Denise Richards was Radar Online’s source, so I’m assuming this story comes straight from her. Is it really possible that a 20-something adult film star came into Charlie Sheen’s life and started dictating terms to him, or is Charlie stirring up trouble between the women in his life? He’s an addict and an abuser, and it’s probably not as one-sided as this story makes it out to be.
Charlie’s more recent ex wife, Brooke Mueller, is on track to regain full custody of her four year-old twins with Charlie. Brooke has a restraining order out against Charlie, but she’s been trying to make nice with him and has allowed him to visit the twins. As a result, Charlie is currently trying to help Brooke in her custody case.
In Charlie’s messed-up brain, Denise Richards, who has remained a sober, committed parent, has taken in Charlie’s other children and has bent over backwards for him for years, is the enemy for mildly pushing back. Brooke Mueller, who has been in rehab over 20 times and has had custody stripped by the state, is his ally now because she’s playing his game. Brooke is kissing up to Charlie because she wants his money. They do speak the same crackhead language.
