Nothing can stop the Taylor Swift train, and the ?Style? actress looks beautiful in black and white on the front of Vanity Fair's September 2015 edition.
The Grammy-winning pop star discusses her newfound friendship with Kanye West- "I feel like I wasn't ready to be friends with [West] until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me, and he wasn't ready to be friends with me until he had some sort of respect for me?so it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time. I became friends with Jay Z, and I think it was important, for Jay Z, for Kanye and me to get along. Kanye and I both reached a place where he would say really nice things about my music and what I've accomplished, and I could ask him how his kid's doing."
As for her battle with Apple Music, Taylor explains, ?I wrote the letter at around 4 a.m. The contracts had just gone out to my friends, and one of them sent me a screenshot of one of them. Sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night and I'll write a song and I can't sleep until I finish it, and it was like that with the letter. My fears were that I would be looked at as someone who just whines and rants about this thing that no one else is really ranting about."

Eminem and running are two of my favorite subjects, so I had to hit this new Shady interview in Men’s Health. Marshall Mathers gets real about fitness and his obsessive personality. It all started with his sleeping pill addiction, which led to an ulcer in his stomach. He ate to kill the pain, which eventually took him up to 230 pounds. I remember reading an Enquirer article that showed a rare paparazzi photo from around 2007. They called him “M&M,” which is just awful.
A few years ago, Eminem told Rolling Stone how he finally realized how heavy he was when he heard two teenagers talking about him. The boys were trying to figure out if he was really Eminem. In the end, one decided, “No it’s not, man – Eminem ain’t fat.” Shortly thereafter, Mathers overdosed on pills and went to rehab. Once he finished the program, he replaced one addiction with another. Eminem threw himself into exercise and ran over two hours every day. He became obsessed with burning 2000 calories by running 17 miles without fail. To no one’s surprise but his own, the heavy mileage tore down his body. Now he’s found a fitness solution:
How he started exercising: “When I got out of rehab, I needed to lose weight, but I also needed to figure out a way to function sober. Unless I was blitzed out of my mind, I had trouble sleeping. So I started running. It gave me a natural endorphin high, but it also helped me sleep, so it was perfect. It’s easy to understand how people replace addiction with exercise. One addiction for another but one that’s good for them.”
He totally overdid running: “I became a f***ing hamster. Seventeen miles a day on a treadmill,” admits the rapper, who says he ran to the point of injury. “I would get up in the morning, and before I went to the studio, I would run eight and a half miles in about an hour. Then I’d come home and run another eight and a half. I started getting OCD about the calories, making sure I burned 2,000 every day. In the end I got down to about 149 lbs. I ran to the point where I started to get injured. All the constant pounding from the running began to tear up my hip flexors.”
Now he loves fitness DVDS: “I know a lot of these DVD guys are wacky, but I’m alone in my gym; I need someone on the TV yelling to motivate me. Besides, some of this sh*t is entertaining. When I first started the Insanity workout, I alternated my routine, running one day and doing the Insanity the other. Then I stopped running altogether because it was too much to do them both. The Insanity won. After a while, I mixed it up. I did the P90X for a little while (and I still do that ab workout because it’s the most challenging). Now every morning before I go to the studio, I do the Body Beast workout with free weights, bench, and pullup bar at home. It’s just me, so it helps that the Body Beast dude is over-the-top.”

The DVD thing is hilarious because it’s quite a mental image to think of Eminem at home, working up a sweat in front of the television. I used to do tv workouts during college, but those days are over. I spend so much time at home in front of the computer that getting out for a run is a necessity, but 17 miles per day is too much for even the pro athletes. No human body can sustain that kind of mileage. Eminem loves his DVDs and says sometimes he can’t “walk for two days” after starting a new one. It sounds like he’s still overdoing it, perhaps, but this habit is healthier than a pill addiction.

Elle UK has released more photos from their September issue editorial with cover girl Kristen Stewart. While I liked the cover (we covered it yesterday), I?m not loving the rest of the shoot. The bright colors are nice, but why in the world would you style Kristen to look so dirty and greasy AGAIN? Like, that?s how she exists in the zeitgeist. She always looks dirty, her hair always looks unwashed and I just want to throw her in the shower and lock her in there for 30 minutes. Anyway, Elle UK has released some interview excerpts:
Whether she smiles: ?The whole smiling thing is weird because I actually smile a lot. I literally want to be like, ?Dude, you would think I was cool if you got to know me.??
She?s not anti-social media: ?I’m not anti-social media. I just haven’t decided to do it. The idea of addressing such a massive group? If I don’t know who I’m talking to it doesn’t make any f**king sense to me.?
Feminism, apologies: ?I apologize constantly, incessantly?. There’s something so natural about saying ?yes?, I think with women there’s a natural inclination to want to satisfy people.?
Her style: She prefers ?comfort and practicality? over anything else. ?I wear jeans and?I always say this and it?s so boring to do fashion interviews for magazines ? I don?t really have a fashion icon. I?ve never tried to emulate someone?s thing.?
Toughness: ?I like to make people think that I am.?
Dogs: ?I have three. They make me feel safe.?

I tend to believe her about all of this. I don?t think she?s trying to emulate anyone?s style, nor is she trying to be a stand-alone fashion icon. If anything, I think her interest in fashion has decreased in her years in the spotlight. I also think she only smiles in private, but she?s publicly grumpy and sullen and that?s her ?thing.? If she came out as a super-smiley person at this point, we would be like, ?Damn, what?s she trying to prove?? And ?She?s such a try-hard nowadays!?
Kristen will also be traveling to Venice soon ? her film with Nicholas Hoult, Equals, will be premiering at the Venice Film Festival. Hopefully we?ll be getting premiere photos for American Ultra soon too.

On Sunday, we discussed the ongoing situation with Kate Moss and her seemingly estranged husband Jamie Hince. Hince is in America now, touring with his band, The Kills. When The Kills were playing an LA venue last week, Hince was ?caught? by a paparazzo ? Hince was looking super-friendly/flirty with model Jessica Stam. Following that revelation ? that there could be another woman in the mix ? the UK tabloids have been trying to figure out just how bad all of this is for Moss. Here are some assorted stories:
Kate?s holiday. Apparently, Kate originally planned to soak up the sun and alcohol in Ibiza, but she canceled that holiday at the last minute. The Daily Mail?s gossip girl claimed that Moss is so ?over? Hince that she?s planning to go on holiday with her ex-lover Jefferson Hack (Hack is Lila?s father). They are apparently already in Italy together.
Kate doesn?t want to look miserable. Sources claim: “Kate is not in a great place at the moment and she couldn’t face a weekend of partying. She felt that all eyes would be on her and if she looked miserable it would get back to Jamie. To say she’s going through a difficult time would be an understatement.”
Kate is hurt. The photos of Hince and Stam hurt Moss. A source said: ?She’s always hated it when other women flirted with Jamie so the pictures of him and Jessica really hurt her.”
Fights about babies. The Mail?s gossip girl also claimed that Kate and Jamie?s marriage collapsed because Jamie ?told friends? that he realized he and Kate had no business having a child together because of their irresponsible lifestyles.
Moss will sell her fancy London home. Kate has owned a really nice home in Highgate, a ?tony? part of London, for four years. It was her marital home with Hince, and she?s reportedly putting it on the market.
There will be a major custody fight. About their dog, Archie. Technically, Hince rescued the dog but sources say ?Kate loves Archie. He?s part of her life and she won?t give him up?It?s actually a big problem and neither know how to resolve this, other than ?joint custody? so to speak.?
It sounds like a mess. And it sounds like it?s really over, like Jamie Hince is leaving it to Kate as to when she wants to officially announce their split or whatever. Maybe she even thinks that there?s a chance they?ll get back together, which? hey, that might happen. But it feels more like Hince was done and he left and Kate is just dealing with the aftermath. Possibly in the arms of her ex-lover.

Last Friday, we reported on a story from The National Enquirer which claimed that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith would be filing for divorce at the end of the summer. The Enquirer took it a step further than your typical speculation and said that the famous couple had already worked out a monetary agreement for splitting their assets. It seemed plausible to me, especially since The Enquirer was one of the outlets which called the Battfleck divorce well ahead of time.
This is the summer of divorces, but it looks like Will and Jada might not be joining all the other famous splitting couples. The two have denied that they’re getting a divorce. Will posted a denial on Facebook and a source gave a denial to Gossip Cop. What’s more is that Jada did an interview with the American Airlines inflight magazine in which she denied she’s getting a divorce and said that “marriages shift.” She always says things like that though, so it’s not like it’s an indication of anything new. It’s likely that Jada gave the interview in late May anyway, as that’s the date of the photoshoot and the interview is in the August issue. Here’s

They?re divorcing because Gavin insists on wearing ^^ drop-waist pants.
Late Monday evening, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale confirmed that they had filed for divorce. While there were rumors about the state of the Stefani-Rossdale marriage for years, the divorce announcement felt like it came out of nowhere, in this, The Summer of Breakups. One of the long-standing rumors was that Gavin cheated on Gwen, especially in the beginning of their relationship. But I truly haven?t heard anything lately about Gavin?s wandering eye. Now TMZ says that Gwen believes he cheated though?
Gwen Stefani pulled the plug on her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale because she believed he was cheating on her. We’re told Gwen and Gavin have not gotten along for some time. As one source put it, the split was “a long time coming.”
We’re told Gwen complained about Gavin being away from home too much, touring with his band Bush from December 2014 through March 2015. One source says Gwen put pressure on him to stop touring and stay home. For his part, he felt it she was hypocritical because she was on the road too. Our sources say Gavin is a very good father, so both sides are seeking a joint custody arrangement.

I think it?s more than possible he was fooling around. I also think it?s possible that their marriage has been on the rocks for a while and Gavin was trying to get Gwen to acknowledge that it was over when he stayed out on the road endlessly. Sigh? I hope this won?t get dirty. I mean, on a gossip level, the dirtier it is, the more fun to cover. But still? I feel sorry for Gwen. I feel like she tried really hard to make her marriage work.

Ever since the one-two punch of divorce announcements from Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck and Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert, I definitely had the gossip sixth sense feeling that this summer would have at least one more major breakup. My money was on Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, quite honestly. But it turned out to be the sleeper entry in the Terrible Divorce Sweepstakes: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. Damn, you guys.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are divorcing after nearly 13 years of marriage.
“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” the duo confirmed to People in a statement (Access was first to report the news). “To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”
The pair tied the knot in 2002 after six years of dating and were set to celebrate their anniversary next month.
“We go through so much together ? it’s a miracle that we could stay together this long,” the No Doubt singer told Cosmopolitan earlier this year. “It’s good to have those days when we both do our own things. I think that’s what keeps relationships going, when both people can be themselves and have their own individuality.”
Rossdale, 49, and Stefani, 45, share three sons together: Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 1.

This actually shocks me. Of course there have been rumors about the state of Gwen and Gavin?s marriage for years, but they always seemed pretty solid in spite of the rumors. They seemed to love their family unit and they seemed to have figured out a way to do the whole rock ?n roll marriage thing. I guess not. As for those rumors? in 2010, Gavin confirmed that he had a ?one night thing? with a male lover once upon a time, only his lover always claimed that their relationship lasted more like six years. I always believed that Gavin probably experimented a lot in his younger days and?? No judgment. Unless it turns out that Gavin had someone on the side this whole time, then there will be judgment. And for whatever reason, I just don?t believe that Gwen would ever fool around on him, but I?ve been wrong before so who knows?
Oh, and before The Batfleck, there were some rumors about Gavin and his hot nanny too. Remember that?
Last thing: Gwen and Gavin have already filed the paperwork for the divorce. Gwen filed first and they’re apparently in agreement about joint custody of the kids. You guys… what happened?!
