Yesterday, Naomi Campbell announced that she had welcomed her first child, a baby girl, at some point recently. People were slightly caught off guard because Naomi really kept the information on lockdown and there were no leaks whatsoever. Naomi is 50 years old and while it?s possible that she could have been pregnant, Naomi has been photographed or seen on video in recent months, and she truly did not appear to be in the last trimester of a pregnancy. It?s far more likely she had a surrogate or gestational carrier. The Daily Mail?s sources say she had a surrogate.
Naomi Campbell has broken her silence on motherhood after announcing she had welcomed a baby girl Tuesday. Shortly after sharing a picture of her babys feet, the 50-year-old supermodel told fans she was honoured and humbled, amid claims shes set to raise her daughter with her secret American boyfriend.
The model is said to have welcomed her baby via a surrogate, with unearthed pictures of the star taken three weeks before her babys arrival showing her out in New York City where she now lives. The British supermodel is living in New York and is understood to have a new boyfriend with whom she will raise the child. Friends yesterday told Daily Mail that they believe Naomi ? who never knew her father and was raised largely by her grandmother ? used a surrogate.
Sources close to the model added to The Sun that Naomi is in a wonderful place and how it finally felt like the perfect time to become a parent.
The insider said: Naomi has really mellowed in the past year and is in a wonderful place in life. She has been living in America with her boyfriend and is really happy. It finally felt like the perfect time to become a mother and she is over the moon. The first lockdown allowed her to stop and take stock of the important things and she decided now was the time to properly look into starting a family.
Naomi reportedly recently told her team that she wants to quit working over weekends, just weeks before making her baby announcement.

While I pride myself on having a mostly encyclopedic memory for inane celebrity gossip, I completely blanked on Naomi Campbell?s many dramas in 2013. That was the year she and Vlad Doronin broke up following a wild five-year romance (he was still married at the time). While I remembered the good old days of Naomi and Vlad, I totally forgot about the messiness involving model Luo Zilin. Back then, Naomi was on the show The Face, and Naomi nurtured and promoted Luo Zilin. Then Dornin took up with Zilin during a lull in his relationship with Naomi, and the sh-t hit the fan. Naomi went after Zilin?s career and got Zilin fired from her modeling agency and more.
I bring all of this up because we heard recently that Doronin is suing Naomi for some of his stuff (worth $3 million), plus unspecified loans he gave her while they were together. Now Page Six is saying that, actually, Naomi quietly sued Doronin before he sued her, and Page Six did an excellent recap of all of the 2013 drama, which acts as an explainer for why things are still so messy seven years later.
Naomi is suing him: This week, it was revealed that Naomi Campbell?s billionaire ex-lover Vladislav Doronin is suing her for millions of dollars. But, it turns out, the fiery supermodel had already sued the Russian real estate developer months earlier. Campbell filed papers in London in February and is currently in arbitration ?to get some of her things back that are in his possession,? a source who knows the model told The Post. ?She?s been asking for these things back for years, but they?ve had no recent conversation. And then he went and did this.?
Naomi?s not mad: Campbell, who is currently in Europe, is not furious about her former beau?s actions, the source added. ?It?s really the other way around.?
Why is Vlad suing Naomi? What more could a jet-setting billionaire need? A friend of the former couple, who dated for five years starting in 2008, said, ?it can?t be just about the cash, it?s about the game. It?s a power thing.?
He built her a home in Russia: Doronin built Campbell a futuristic multi-million-dollar love nest in a Moscow forest ? the only home ever designed by the late architect Zaha Hadid ? which last year was put on the market for $100 million.
Whether Vlad was good for Naomi: ?I?m sure that Naomi would say that Vlad is the worst bastard in the world,? the friend of both said. ?I?m not sure that?s the case.? However, another confidante added, ?Vlad did not want her to work. And she knew that if she continued to work, it would come down to work or her personal life. And her personal life seems to have taken the toll.?
His frolic with Luo Zilin in Ibiza in 2013: ?That?s when it went horribly wrong,? a British TV source told The Post. ?To my recollection, they were on the rocks at the time, but I don?t think they had formerly parted at that stage. Then he popped up with Luo and that was the point of no return.? Making matters worse, Campbell had mentored Zilin, a former Miss Universe China, on her British reality TV show ?The Face.? She was irate because, as a source said at the time, ?it?s fair to say they met through Naomi.?
He?s still not divorced: All the while, the magnate has managed to stay shrouded in mystery. It?s not even known whether Doronin has ever actually divorced his estranged wife Ekaterina, with whom he has a grown-up daughter named Katya. The Post could not find records of any divorce.
Naomi is not pressed: ?Look, she?s busy working and she knows who she?s dealing with,? a source said. ?She doesn?t want to turn this into some big storm. She just would love her things back.?

Like so many people of a certain age, I have vivid memories of certain bonkers episodes of Oprah, back when Oprah had a syndicated network talk show. A decade ago, Naomi Campbell appeared on an episode, and she talked all about how happy she was with her fiance Vladislav Doronin, a Russian billionaire who was still very much married to his wife. Naomi moved to Russia to be with him and for five years, they were a jet-set celebrity couple all over Europe, the Middle East and beyond. He was married the whole time! Anyway, it ended badly in 2013, and he moved on quickly with a series of models. But seven years after the breakup, Doronin is still mad about some of the sh-t Naomi kept from their relationship:
Naomi Campbell is being dragged into court by her ex-boyfriend, whos filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit, claiming she owes him a lot of dough. According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Naomis ex, Vladislav Doronin a Russian businessman claims shes refusing to pay back money he loaned her, and is still holding on to some valuable property of his.
In the docs, Vladislav claims Naomis refusing to return his personal property, which he values at more than $3 million. It?s not clear yet how much money he claims to have loaned her.
The supermodel started dating the Russian billionaire way back in 2008, and they were together for five years before breaking up in 2013. Vlad often showered her with gifts, including getaways on his yacht and a house in the shape of the Eye of Horus on Cleopatra Island in Turkey.
Now, 7 years after their split, Vlads coming back with a vengeance. Weve reached out to reps for Naomis side of the story. So far, no word back.

Naomi Campbell really seems to be enjoying a second (or perhaps third) wind. People are tired of Insta-models and the bland second and third-generation celebrity spawn. It?s not that Naomi Campbell ever really had a moment of reckoning for all of those people she hurt with her phone, but she did serve her time (a week of community service for the phone-throwing). And there hasn?t been a huge scandal with Naomi in several years, and she?s still glamorous and interesting and fun to watch and talk about. So Naomi is still happening and still working and still being interviewed. Apparently, she chatted with Paris Match (via The Root) recently about traveling, racism and a moment in France where some racist idiot wouldn?t let her enter a hotel.
A racist incident: She recounted an incident, saying: ?I was recently in a city in the south of France, at the time of the Cannes Film Festival, where I was invited to participate in an event in a hotel whose name I will not mention. [They] did not want to let my friend and I in because of the color of my skin. The guy at the entrance pretended that the place was complete. He did not want to let my friend and I in because of the color of my skin ? But he let other people pass. I have always wanted people to be treated fairly. [I] do not believe that it goes without saying. The challenge is permanent,/It is [because of] these kinds of shocking moments that I will continue to express myself and make myself heard.?
She considered the late Nelson Mandela her mentor: ?Mandela opened my eyes, my heart, and showed me the way. With him, I learned a lot.?
Whether her race is an asset as a model: ?Yes and no. I have always refused the idea that it hinders me. There were obstacles, but in the business, the girls [her fellow supermodels] helped me a lot.?
What she wanted to do when she first started working: ?I had only one idea in my mind: to discover America. I had seen so many movies! Which is more annoying: when a very slender model lies and claims that she eats everything, whenever she wants, or when a very slender model goes on and on about her insanely restrictive diet? To be fair, both are pretty annoying. I think I appreciate the honesty more, and I appreciate it when a model is like ?of course it takes work to stay this skinny, of course I can?t eat French fries and chocolate, are you crazy?? So it is with my hate-respect for Naomi Campbell. Naomi has never tried to be normal, to be Just Like Us, to sell herself as a model of the people. She dates billionaires and collects diamonds from African warlords. She?s ALWAYS on a diet. And it?s not a trendy diet either. It?s an old-fashioned ?I don?t eat a gdamn thing? starvation diet.
Intermittent fasting ? going around 14 hours without eating ? is a major diet trend these days. But supermodel Naomi Campbell takes it a step further, occasionally going full days sans food. The 49-year-old talked about her unusual eating habits on a recent episode of the U.K. talk show Lorraine, and said that she decides when to eat based on how she?s feeling that day.
?I eat when I feel like it,? she said. ?I don?t starve myself. If I want to do a day of just not eating, I do it and just do water or juice. Depends how I feel.?
Campbell said she doesn?t feel motivated to eat on warmer days.
?In the heat, sometimes I don?t [eat], I just want to do juice,? she said. ?It?s too hot. [It?s] never planned. It could be one day, it could be two days a week. It?s just when I feel like it.?
In 2010, Campbell told Oprah Winfrey that she goes on a similarly restrictive diet, the Master Cleanse, three times a year. The program, also known as the Lemonade Diet, is food-free, and only consists of three drinks ? a lemonade with cayenne pepper and maple syrup, a salt water drink and a laxative tea. ?The most I?ve ever done it for is 18 days,? she said of the Master Cleanse. ?It?s good just to clean out your body once in a while.?

The only thing I understand is not wanting to eat when it?s crazy-hot. I also lose my appetite when I?ve been out and about in the heat. But? then I want ice cream to cool down. Naomi Campbell doesn?t know ice cream. She?s never met ice cream. British supermodel Naomi Campbell is titillating fans this winter with a sexy new advertising campaign for her first ever lingerie line.
The runway beauty, 45, has teamed up with designers at Italian underwear company Yamamay to create the limited-edition holiday collection, appropriately titled, I Am Naomi Campbell.
Naomi, a former Victoria's Secret Angel, has stripped down to model the lacy range for the new ad images, which were shot by her longtime collaborator, photographer Mario Testino.
The lingerie line features seven different sexy lace bra and knicker separates in red, black and lavender, with each piece retailing for less than $100.

Naomi Campbell wore custom-made Burberry to the Met Gala last night. And while I can?t really figure out if this has anything to do with the theme, I still kind of love it. I think it might be my favorite non-theme dress. Of course, Naomi can pretty much wear anything (she?s such a beautiful monster), but I enjoy the moss-green and the fringe. What is wrong with me? My inner showgirl is coming out.
Miranda Kerr in Louis Vuitton. This doesn?t go with the theme, nor is it a great dress. It just looks like a sparkly little party dress. I don?t get it?
Jennifer Connelly in Louis Vuitton. I don?t like this, it?s not my jam, but I?m obviously an uneducated peasant when it comes to the ?brilliance? of LV?s designs. I just think this looks so heavy and unnecessary.

This time, Naomi Campbell might have picked a fight with a woman who will not only fight back, but who could possibly win in a hand-to-hand smackdown. According to Page Six, Naomi got into it with? Cara Delevingne. I don?t give Cara credit for much, but she?s scrappy as hell and it sounds like she gave as good as she got. This story totally involves weave-pulling too!!
Naomi Campbell and model of the moment Cara Delevingne got into a supermodel catfight when a screaming match turned physical during Paris Fashion Week. Witnesses said Naomi was angrily shouting at Cara, and the pair began pushing and shoving each other. Sources said Cara was seen grabbing Naomi?s hair during the high-fashion fracas. The two models apparently got into a fight over their mutual friend Rihanna while at a chic party for Dasha Zhukova?s Garage Magazine at Paris club Castel Sunday night.
A witness told Page Six, ?Naomi accused Cara of ?disrespecting? Rihanna and started yelling, before Naomi pushed Cara, who pushed back.? Another witness added, ?Cara pulled Naomi?s weave, but it didn?t come off.?
Naomi and Cara, along with Rihanna, have been spotted together at events for Paris fashion week. But the witness said, ?Naomi was angry because she felt Cara had said something negative about Rihanna.?
A separate source said Naomi, 44, unexpectedly started ranting at Cara, 22, at the glamorous bash, with guests including Bianca Brandolini and Lauren Santo Domingo. The source said, ?It was a noisy and packed party. Naomi was saying all these nonsensical things, she was ranting. There was a messy pushing match. Cara didn?t understand because there?s no problem between her and Rihanna. Cara didn?t want to be involved and was telling Naomi, ?Get away from me!???
Another source at the event said Naomi had been chatting with Dakota Fanning, who was at a table with models including Cara and Lily Donaldson. The source said, ?Naomi didn?t do anything wrong. We are talking about a very tiny club in Paris with a very busy table ? if someone pushes someone, it?s because there is no space.?
Despite the supermodel tussle, Naomi later went partying at Up & Down?s pop-up at Raspoutine, where a spy said, ?Everyone was talking about the drama with Cara, but Naomi just smiled angelically.? Reps for both Naomi and Cara declined to comment Monday night.

Here are some photos of Naomi Campbell at the 2014 National Television Awards in London last night. I?m assuming she was there because of The Face, because this event was a bit? downmarket for Naomi. She was by far the biggest name there, but that?s probably because I have no idea who many of the British TV stars are (who is Abbey Clancy and why do people care about her?!).
Anyway, Naomi is wearing Michael Kors. Thoughts? I actually thought this was Versace and I was going to praise it because it seemed like old-school Donatella. So I?m surprised it came from Kors. I actually like it, and I rarely like Kors stuff. The wig and the makeup are another story though. That wig looks so damn cheap! It looks like she snatched it from a Naomi drag queen right before the red carpet. And the makeup? well. I?ve been thinking for a while that Naomi has been messing with her face (Botox and fillers would be my guess), so it?s possible the sloppy makeup is in reality just wonky cosmetic work.
By the way, before Naomi even came to this event, she caused a controversy. Apparently, she refused to use the peasant dressing rooms!
Naomi Campbell has reportedly requested a “more luxurious” dressing room for The National Television Awards. The supermodel has been called in to present the Talent Show prize at the UK’s National Television Awards, which take place in London tonight.
While most stars are happy to spend time between appearances at one of the rooms in the O2 Arena, Naomi is reportedly after something a little fancier. According to British newspaper The Sun, the 43-year-old’s team are hoping a luxe hotel in the area will be able to accommodate her.
“What a palaver. Apparently Naomi wants something more luxurious so the team have had to scrabble around trying to find something suitable nearby,” a source told the publication. “It’s a surprise because the O2 dressing rooms are used to handling big stars with big demands. Jay Z’s been a few times as has Rihanna. They hardly slum it. But it seems they’re not up to scratch for a supermodel. Hopefully a five-star hotel nearby has some availability. We’re glad she’s coming as she adds some A-list glam to proceedings, but it has not been the easiest thing in the world to organise.”
An insider close to the model added that Naomi wanted to stay and watch the show, apparently asking for ten seats to be put aside for her entourage.

It?s like the event organizers are just BEGGING to be beaten with a bejeweled phone. Apparently, Naomi threatened to not even show up if her crazy demands were not completely adhered to. Which brings me to a very important question: does anyone really give a crap about Naomi Campbell this much? I mean, I can see inviting her and making some special accommodations for her, but after making a list of crazy demands and threatening to walk, why not call her bluff? Why not say, ?Ha, okay, we can?t do that. See ya.? While she?s still a ?supermodel? it?s not like she?s the most important person in the world.
