Having gotten her first taste of big screen action during a "Just Go With It" cameo, Heidi Montag is doing her best to break into the movie-making business.
Talking to Us magazine at the opening of Liquid Pool Lounge at Las Vegas' Aria Resort & Casino over the weekend, the "Hills" hottie said, "I?m writing a movie right now. It?s very action packed. It's Bourne-meets-Barbie."
Penning herself in as the lead character, of course, the plastic surgery-loving reality star tells, "I would love to be an action star."
Previously telling of her desire to become the blonde Tomb Raider, Heidi says of her action flick acting preparations, "I've trained knife fighting and guns for over two years with one of the founding members of Saw, [who] was [in] the original Delta Force. So I've been shooting and practicing the whole real-life action figure for years. So I'm very excited to have action roles."

Always up for a little day-beginning shopping, the "Monsters v. Aliens" actress popped into the Ron Herman store to check out the shop's selections.
The sighting comes just as Reese's ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe chatted with Howard Stern about the bum rap he's received since the two divorced in 2006.
Ryan, who recently split with actress Abbie Cornish, tells, "I've been dumped on in the press for relationship stuff since Reese [Witherspoon] and i divorced."
The 35-year-old adds, "I'm tired of getting s*** on. I don't feel like I deserve it. Things happen! How many people have you broken up with over your life?"

Getting his spot on the Walk of Fame, Russell Crowe was honored with the 2404th star on Hollywood Boulevard during a ceremony held Monday (April 12).
Joined by his lovely wife Danielle, as well as sons Tennyson, 3, and Charles, 6, the Aussie actor was greeted by celebs in attendance including Jay Leno, Sam Worthington, Ron Howard and Brian Grazier.
Briefly speaking to a crowd of over 500 participants and onlookers, Crowe said, "Thanks for the privilege. I'll always be grateful for it."
Coming as he begins promoting his upcoming "Robin Hood" movie, Russell's star reportedly "sits on the footpath outside the home of the Oscar's ceremony, the Kodak Theatre, next to stars belonging to Nicole Kidman, Anthony Hopkins and Martin Scorsese."

Getting the week underway, Drew Barrymore was spotted walking around in the SoHo district of New York City this afternoon (April 12).
The "ET" actress looked to be in a rather cheerful mood as she held up a pamphlet while greeting the always-present paparazzi.
The sighting comes just after Miss Barrymore defended her movie "Whip It" from being dubbed a chick flick, as the film made its way into UK theaters this past Tuesday (April 7).
Of having her project called a "girl's only" film, Drew told The Mirror: "It was upsetting to have a studio put out, 'It's a roller derby movie'. I kept encouraging them to market to boys and men, because there was a sports element and when I go to roller derby games there are a lot of males. They love the sexiness, the raunchiness and the fun-ness of these girls beating the crap out of each other."
She added: "I'm a woman so I'm going to make stories about women because I understand them, but I'm also a boy and I can't stand the term 'chick flick'. That turns me off. I'm as turned off by that as any guy because I am a 'dude'. I have a very male mentality. The comedy in the film is not little girl comedy. It's boy comedy, it's androgynous comedy."

Taking on one of the biggest challenges an athlete can face, Eliza Dushku competed in a mini-triathlon over the weekend in Miami, FL.
The ?Open Graves? actress along with boyfriend Rick Fox took part in the third annual Nautica South Beach Triathlon on Sunday (April 11).
The competitive race which includes a half-mile swim, 19-mile bike ride and four-mile run benefits the St. Jude Children?s Hospital.
Shortly after, the 29-year-old star tweeted, "I feel like I ate the SUN! My body's burning up right now. We finished 2hrs45mins. @rickafox came in 1st place in male celeb division!" (Oddly enough, Mr Fox was the only one in that category).

Stars like Susan Sarandon, Olivia Wilde, Ben Stiller, Gerard Butler, and Demi Moore sat down to discuss the relief efforts so far, and how to continue.
Artists for Peace and Justice is working on building schools to serve the poorest areas of Haiti and the children living there.
They plan on providing education, hot meals, clean water, and medical treatment for the residents of the slums nearby.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for former Playmate Jenny McCarthy — first she and her long-time boyfriend Jim Carrey broke up, and now she’s closing the school she founded for autistic children. Star Magazine says
“Jenny and her partner at the each 2Talk Academy, Sarah Scheflen, had different visions for the school and made a decision to go their separate ways,” Jenny’s rep said. “Both intend to continue on in this important mission.”
I assume “Jenny and her partner had different visions for the school” means that her partner wanted to utilize legitimate and scientifically sound approaches to educating autistic children, while Jenny wanted to implement whatever the unicorn sliding down the magic rainbow told her. I can see how it’d be kind of hard to base a curriculum around your completely unfounded conspiracy theories. That’s probably why crazy homeless people never write textbooks.

Showing support by lending a helping hand, Shakira paid a visit to Haiti to discuss her plans of building a children?s school over the weekend.
It?s been three months since a massive earthquake destroyed the island, and the ?She Wolf? singer was spotted looking for a suitable site for the school which will focus on needy children.
"We need to think about the future of this country and of how Haiti's children can be useful to their societies tomorrow," Shakira said. "Education is one of the fundamental tools with which to develop and rebuild Haiti."
The singer said she believes that providing education to the many displaced and orphaned Haitian children is a key part of the reconstruction efforts.

The Guardian is reporting the rumor that Quentin Tarantino wants to work with Lindsay. They call her a perfect candidate, considering her acting career is in the toilet and Tarantino specializes in actors who need a second chance.
If reports are to be believed, Lohan made such an impression on the set of Machete ? the film based on the fake trailer from the start of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s misstep Grindhouse ? that Tarantino is currently cooking up a “shocking, hardcore” part for her in a forthcoming project that will instantly propel her back into the big league.
Because that’s something that Quentin Tarantino is quite good at. Everybody knows what Pulp Fiction did for John Travolta, dragging him away from Kirstie Alley and the talking babies, and making him a genuine box-office proposition again. Similarly, Jackie Brown brought Pam Grier back into the spotlight, and Kill Bill made David Carradine and, to a lesser extent, Uma Thurman register on the Hollywood radar. If there’s one thing that Quentin Tarantino can do better than anyone else, it’s resuscitate flatlining actors.
Obviously once they’ve been resuscitated, they’re on their own again, at which point their careers usually flounder. After receiving Tarantino’s helping hand, Pam Grier made The Adventures of Pluto Nash; Uma Thurman made the now infamous Motherhood; David Carradine played a horny old triad called Poon Dong in Crank 2, then died; and John Travolta voluntarily chose to star in (deep breath) Battlefield Earth, Ladder 49, Be Cool, Wild Hogs, Hairspray and Old Dogs all in the space of a single decade. And these actors are much more celebrated than Lindsay Lohan ? so even if Tarantino does decide to give her a boost, she probably shouldn’t start clearing any Oscar spaces on her mantelpiece yet.

It could be that Quentin was impressed with something regarding La Blohan, or that he thinks she would make a hilarious cameo appearance as “Crackhead #2?, but I doubt he?s writing a part especially for her or anything. A similar rumor was floating around about Quentin wanting to work with Britney Spears, and nothing ever came of that.
Speaking of Lindsay being rather trashy, the Jersey Shore kids were interviewed by Interview Magazine this month, and they have nothing but nice things to say about the Lohans, of course. Pauly D said, regarding his celebrity fans: “Lindsay Lohan, Ashton Kutcher. Diddy’s a fan. I heard Denzel Washington’s a fan. Lindsay’s cool. When we went to the club, she pulled me aside and said, ‘Pauly D! I love your show.’ We were hanging out with her mother [Dina Lohan].” Shocking! You mean the Lohans would totally relate to the Jersey Shore kids? Honestly, between those two groups, I kind of worry about the Jersey Shore kids, and how the Lohans could be a bad influence.

She?s never in one place for too long, and yesterday (April 11) Lindsay Lohan was spotted arriving at JFK International Airport on a flight from LAX.
The ?Mean Girls? gal looked preoccupied as she made her way through the terminal, chatting away incessantly on her mobile phone.
In a recent interview, Dr. Drew told press how he?d make sure LiLo ended up in rehab if she were his daughter.
He explained, "If she were my daughter, I would pack her car full of illegal substances, send her on her way, call the police, and make sure she was arrested. I would make sure she was not allowed to get out of jail. I would then go to the judge and make sure she was ordered to a minimum of a three-year sobriety program."
Drew continued, "I absolutely wish no harm to her, but I just have a feeling that something awful is going to happen to her, like she is going to lose a limb. I hope Lindsay gets help before something terrible happens."
Lindsay was none too pleased with Drew?s sentiments- she replied, ?He's a quack and a sell-out. Please tell him to stop! I'm fine. I don't get what's wrong with people."

Spending the weekend taking in a little soccer action, Kim Kardashian was spotted roaming the streets of Madrid, Spain on Saturday night (April 10).
After attending the Real Madrid vs. Barcelona soccer match, which Barcelona won by a score of 2-0, the E! reality beauty joined a few friends to grab up a late night dinner on the town.
According to an onlooker, "Kim looked very happy as she walked with her friends in the street, during which a man tried to be funny and offer the cameraman a beer as he stood next to Kim while she talked with a large group of her pals in the center of the city."
The trip to Madrid comes after Miss Kardashian spent time in Miami to see her sisters for one last time before wrapping up her part on "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami".
