The ?Bethenny? starlet was joined by Fallon as well as fellow guest William H. Macy and ?Late Night? announcer Steve Higgins for the hilarious segment.
And when it came time for Ms. Frankel to describe her clue, things headed in an R-rated direction very quickly.
Bethenny blurted out?It?s a circle and it?s not a female?s circle? It?s not part but? your? it?s also a thing on the ground!?
Thankfully, Jimmy guessed ?Manhole!? before it went too far.

She's admired by women (and men) around the world, but even Cameron Diaz admits she hasn't always been happy about her body.
In the February 2014 issue of Seventeen magazine, "The Body Book" author discussed her personal struggles while growing up and her love for junk food.
"You might think my life is always totally glam, but I used to have horrible acne - deep boiling pimples - the kind that hurt so badly, I didn't want to leave my house," Miss Diaz explained. "My friends said they didn't notice, but I'd say, 'It's the only thing anyone can see!'"
Cameron continued, "No amount of concealer and foundation could take away the texture of my skin, the embarrassment I felt, or the pain of those raging pimples. I was miserable."
In regards to her addiction to unhealthy foods, the 41-year-old actress said, "At the same time, I was this skinny girl who could eat anything I wanted without gaining an ounce - so I did. If you really are what you eat, I would have been a bean burrito with extra cheese, extra sauce, no onions! Sometimes on a Friday-night drive-through run, I would order a double cheeseburger with French fries and onion rings."
"I was the poster child for being both skinny and unhealthy - and I had the zits to prove it," she added.

Meanwhile, Anne is gearing up for the premiere of her new drama "Song One." Per the synopsis, "A young archaeologist returns home from a dig in order to see her injured brother, and soon she strikes up a relationship with his favorite musician."
Starring alongside Miss Hathaway are Mary Steenburgen, Ben Rosenfield, and Li Jun Li. "Song One" is slated to hit theaters January 20th.

All she did was cut out a boob hole in her gown. What’s wrong with that? I do a similar thing with my mesh shirts. I cut out little holes for my nipples. It makes them easier to rub when I’m talking to the ladies.

Yesterday, I went to UPS to buy a mailer to for two pairs of pants I wanted to return because I buy my pants online, you see. Prince William checked into Cambridge for his first day of ?school? on Tuesday. Apparently, he arrived on campus in the morning, and he went back to London in evening. But there are still arrangements for William to have an apartment (either on campus or campus-adjacent, the details are sketchy), so I?m thinking he probably won?t make it back to London even half the time he?s doing this bespoke course. When we were discussing it on Tuesday, I asked what you guys thought Duchess Kate would do in William?s absence. Would ?looking after Prince George? be sufficient, would Kate take the baby and go home to her mom?s house? Would Kate be allowed to briefly outshine William and take on more solo charity work? The answer so far is ?none of the above.? While William?s away, the girl?s just shopping.
As William began his Cambridge course in agriculture Tuesday, his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, headed out for some retail therapy ? just in time for her birthday.
Dressed in a baby blue coat, Kate, who will turn 32 on Thursday, checked out the home furnishings and picked up some supplies at one of her favorite department stores, Peter Jones, in London’s Sloane Square. Also spotted in the store: her mother, Carole Middleton, 58.
Fellow shopper Louisa Smith saw Kate in the cashier section, and noted that there was very little fuss about the VIP.
“You wouldn’t have known it was Kate Middleton,” Smith, an independent distributor for a health and wellness products firm, told PEOPLE. “The shop is always quite calm anyway, and there wasn’t a great deal of people around.”
In fact, said Smith, “It was only when I did a double-take that I realized it was her.”
Once the recognition factor kicked in, Smith was very impressed: “She was absolutely beautiful. She has a very magnetic energy about her. She looked absolutely stunning.”
Besides, said the shopper, “It was nice to see her doing ordinary stuff!”
As for her birthday, it doesn’t look as if Kate will be able to spend much of it with William, given that he is commuting 60 miles north to Cambridge from their home for the day. (As royal insiders point out, it’s a bit early in the term for him to start cutting classes.)
Still, if his first day back to school was any indication, the two should be together again by evening.

I?ve actually heard (and someone confirm this if it?s true) that the UK papers are banned from publishing even Twitter and Instagram photos of Kate and William when they?re out and about. Like, no newspaper can publish the photos that commoners publish on their social media accounts. Because it?s high treason, apparently, to see the future queen elbow-deep in the discount rack?
Anyway, chica loves to shop. And why not? Charles is paying her bills and William would rather spend her 32nd birthday (today!) with nubile coeds. I’m not even joking – it’s being widely reported that William is staying at Cambridge today while Kate celebrates her birthday “privately” with her mom at Kensington Palace. So…shop away, duchess. Shop away. And happy birthday, chica.

Here are photos of Alyssa Milano looking like a boss at the taping of Extra. Last week, we discussed Alyssa’s righteous call out of Jay Mohr, who made rude remarks about Alyssa’s figure after they both appeared at a Nascar event. Alyssa always looks spectacular, but Jay decided to be a major a-hole by podcasting, “It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s—? … I read it on her gut.”
Alyssa kept it classy. She responded with a “So sorry you felt the need to need to publicly fat-shame me” and ended with a “send my love to your beautiful wife.” Some of you thought Alyssa may have been throwing shade at Jay’s wife, model Nikki Cox, who has had some obvious work done. I didn’t see Alyssa doing that at all. I think she’s a genuinely nice person and would never imply anything about another woman’s looks. Plus Alyssa is gracious without effort.
Well Jay felt the fury of the internet upon him. He took to his blog to explain the incident away as a failed joke. He said he was improvising content for his podcast and thought people would find “the incongruousness of my statements” to be funny. Jay continued, “I know full well how much words can hurt people, having seen my wife get destroyed by the tabloids, and I am embarrassed that I didn’t think before I spoke. Alyssa is an extraordinarily beautiful person–both inside and out. Sometimes comedians go too far.” Yes Jay went too far with this dumb little “joke.” For the record, Alyssa did accept the apology:

You know how I?m sometimes (often!) inappropriate, rude and offensive? IT?S MY JOB! Ha, no, I often try to reel it in, which is what happened when I wrote about Candace Cameron Bure?s ?submissive? relationship with her husband. I mean, I basically believe that she?s an adult and she can define her marriage however she wants, that?s her business. But I actually wrote out a 50 Shades of Grey joke in the post and I deleted it before I published because I thought it would be ?too offensive.? The joke was a throw-away: ?Candace believes in 50 Shades of Jesus.? It still makes me giggle. I know, I?m going to hell. Anyway, I bring up my deleted joke because Candace offered a ?clarifying statement? on her pro-submission stance. And she mentions 50 Shades of Grey. It?s happening, people! Her statement:
?I use the word ?submission? and yet it?s a biblical definition of it, and I think the first thing that pops into peoples? mind is this ?50 Shades of Grey? use of the word, or something that?s oppressive, or it?s a dictatorship in my home, and I?m like, ?no.? I love my man, I want him to lead our home, but it?s kind of like driving a car. Only one person can be in the driver?s seat, but you?ve got a navigator. You?ve got a partner riding with you, and we do it together.?

This kind of sucks as a clarifying statement because she basically repeats the same thing she said to HuffPo. We get it, Candace, your husband is in charge and you help ?navigate?. So let?s just spell it out: Candace?s submission doesn?t have anything to do with Christian Grey, from what I can tell. Just FYI.

Sandra Bullock was probably the biggest name at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. When they were announcing the nominees for Favorite Movie Actress, which Sandy won, I was struck by all the actresses who weren’t there. Also nominated in that category were Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Melissa McCarthy, and Scarlett Johansson. The only other nominated actress who showed up was McCarthy, which worked out well when Bullock and McCarthy won Favorite Comedic Movie for The Heat. That reminds me of when Jennifer Aniston seemed drunk at the PCAs. Good times.
As we’ve come to expect, Bullock’s acceptance speech was funny and heartfelt. You get the sense that she’s extremely skilled at speaking off the cuff, and that she’s very gracious. She thanked her son, Louis, “for letting me come out tonight,” and then added that she won awards “because people work a lot harder than mommy to make her look good.” That was sweet! (You can see videos of the acceptance speeches and hosting moments here.)
In terms of Bullock’s fashion, I really liked her Peter Pilotto dress on camera. In these pictures, I’m not so sure. The dress hugged her incredible figure and it was a nice balance between casual and formal. It looked a little too “sundressy” to me on camera at first, but the cool asymmetric hemline made up for it. Plus it’s the People’s Choice Awards, it’s not the Oscars. Also, I love her makeup and hair, especially because she switched it up instead of doing a flat iron look.
Next up we have one of the night’s co-hosts, Kat Dennings, in David Meister. (This reminds me to apologize that we don’t have photos of Melissa McCarthy, since Meister is her favorite designer.) The dress is a little too “prom” for me with the very typical strapless top, floral print and full skirt. I do like her styling, she’s so pretty. This was one of her red carpet outfits, Dennings changed multiple times during the ceremony. My favorite of Denning’s multiple changes last night was her first dress, a bright blue Oliver Tolentino. You can see that here.
Here’s Denning’s Two Broke Girls co-star and co-host last night, Beth Behrs. She’s wearing Giulietta on the red carpet. Behrs’ dresses during the ceremony were very girly and forgettable, although they all made her look gorgeous. This dress was a little better than the clingy, glittery dresses she wore while hosting.
As for how these two did hosting the ceremony, I was pleasantly surprised. The opening bit, which took place on the set of Two Broke Girls, went on too long, but they had some humorous moments throughout. The standout moment was when Dennings read some made-up tweet requests for songs for Behrs to sing on stage. Behrs was game and did versions of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats,” and Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.” They had great rapport and riffed off each other. At one point Dennings said “You’re Hathaway, I’m Franco.” They were much better than those two, but that bar is set incredibly low. Here’s their last gown change of the night, below.
Finally we have Nina Dobrev in black and silver sequined Jenny Packham. In photos this dress looks conservative although on camera it stood out and fit her like a glove. I love to see Nina’s fashion game. Something negative: I don’t like her hair piled up on top of her hear like that, it looks weird.
Nina and her Vampire Diaries co-star, Ian Somerhalder, gave one of the best speeches last night. (Excepting Jennifer Hudson, which we’ll get to in a moment.) When they won for Best On Screen Chemistry, they addressed how their real-life dating life paralleled their characters, until they broke up in real life. They said, in turn, “we started dating on the show, we started dating in real life, and then we broke up in real life, and yet our characters were still dating on the show. It’s a good thing it’s not awkward.” Then they looked at each other like it was awkward. It was cute, with Ian even kissing Nina on the cheek afterwards. I get the sense that it’s not “over” yet for them, we heard that they were back together before the holidays!

As we covered, Lindsay Lohan was in Shanghai earlier this week for some fashion award event. I theorized that she was probably paid a decent amount (low six figures, I?m thinking) to fly to Shanghai and receive an award. There was probably the basic appearance fee, plus the organizers probably had to shell out for Lindsay?s first class plane ticket AND her first-class hotel accommodations. If I was organizing the event, I would not think it was worth it, even if Lindsay was on her best behavior. Because there is NO ?best behavior?. Lindsay lives and breathes crack drama, 24/7. So of course there was crack drama on this trip. Apparently, Lindsay?s ?laptop? was ?stolen? and now someone has their hands on lots of naked photos of the Cracken. Of course.
You want to see Lindsay Lohan naked? That’s what she’s afraid of … because we know what’s in her stolen computer.
Lindsay claims her computer was stolen at the airport in Shanghai, China, and she’s offering a reward for its return. In a move showing an utter lack of sophistication, Lindsay isn’t specifying how much she’ll give … she’s saying, “Whatever it takes.” Translation: A lot.
Why, you ask, is she so freaked out? We’ve learned she had a bunch of nude photos of herself. She claims they’re all from various photo shoots that were never supposed to be released. Again, when an actress is asked to take her clothes off, usually no good comes from that.
And there’s more … We’re told Lindsay claims she has “private correspondence” from a bunch of famous people, including Woody Allen and Lady Gaga, that she wants to keep under wraps.
We pressed on whether there were selfies but got no answer … so we’re guessing there are.

The only names she could come up with were ?Woody Allen? and ?Lady Gaga?? What, she?s not in constant communication with her sober friend Tom Hardy? Or her partying friend Robert Pattinson? She?s not emailing John Travolta? Just Woody and Gaga? And even then? I doubt Woody is emailing back. And LL and Gaga probably share at least one dealer.
As for the naked photos? how stupid. In any possible explanation, that?s just stupid to have a cache of naked photos OF YOURSELF on an unsecure laptop that you travel with internationally. STUPID.

California isn?t feeling the polar vortex, correct? I mean, I?m sure they?re a balmy 60 degrees or something, which is ?freezing? for California. But how do you explain Elsa Pataky?s clothes in these photos? Why is she wearing so many layers? These are pics of Elsa, Chris Hemsworth, India Rose and some assorted family members out to lunch yesterday in Venice Beach. Elsa is wearing leggings, socks, boots, a dress/tunic, a mullet coat, and I?m guessing she?s probably wearing a bra and a tank underneath the tunic too. Too many clothes! Then look at Chris ? he?s just bumming around in dad shorts, a tee and a flannel. Hippies.
Anyway, I just thought you?d like to see these new photos of the happy family. Elsa had toned down the happy family photo-ops for a while. There were no family shots while Chris was promoting Thor 2: The Dark Loki, and I think there were only a handful of candids when he promoted Rush. Things picked up a bit when Elsa and India came with Chris when he was filming In the Heart of the Sea, but the photo-ops were definitely taken down a notch. I guess they?ll pick up now that they?re back in LA and Chris isn?t currently working.
I should also say that I still believe that something funky happened with Chris and Elsa last year. He was working on Cyber for months, and that?s the time when Elsa went dark. I think it?s possible they were having marriage problems around then, and then when they reconciled or whatever, that?s when Elsa got knocked up.
PS? Many of you were hating on Elsa?s studded boots earlier this week. I don?t know, you guys. I kind of like them! I bet they?re comfortable and durable. And she?s super-preggo too, I bet she doesn?t want to wear heels or whatever.

Britney bested ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake for the honor along with Demi Lovato, Bruno Mars, and Katy Perry.
A visibly-moved Spears told the audience, ?Thank you! Wow. This is so cool! This is awesome. I was not expecting this. And it?s because of all of you that I am able to do what I love to do, and I just want to thank my family, my beautiful family. My boys at home. My management team and all of my friends, I love you dearly. Thank you.?

The "Project Runway" babe showed off her amazing bod in a beaded, black Armani gown as she danced the night away and even stole Brad Paisley's hat during his up-beat performance.
In regards to the night's ceremony, Britney Spears took home her first PCA for Favorite Pop Artist.
During her speech, the Vegas performer told the crowd, ?Thank you! Wow. This is so cool! This is awesome. I was not expecting this. They went through a painful breakup in 2013, so it?s great to see that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have remained friends.
During the 2014 People's Choice Awards last night (January 8) the ?Vampire Diaries? costars/ex-real-life-lovers were honored with the Best Chemistry trophy.
Ian exclaimed, "This is crazy. Can you believe this almost five years in the making?" Nina replied, "You're right, yeah. But you know what's crazier though, Ian? At the beginning of the show, Elena actually hated Damon."
"You were hooking up with my brother!" Somerhalder shot back (referring to Paul Wesley?s Stefan).?You killed my brother," said Nina.
Ian added, "And then she fell in love with me," to which Dobrev replied, "And then we started dating on the show. Then we broke up in real life."
Taking it a little further, Somerhalder mentioned, "And yet our characters are still dating on the show.? Nina noted, ?It's a good thing it's not awkward?Well, it's a good thing we have chemistry!"

I raided Tori Spelling’s Instagram account for some pictures, and lookie at what I found! Tori posed this photo of herself with Harry Styles a few months ago. I’m sure it means nothing, people. Ha. Tori still appears to be deep in denial after Dean McDermott allegedly cheated with a Canadian random last month. We’ve heard that Tori is privately making Dean’s home life hell, but she has yet to comment on the rumors. She instead posted a happy family New Year’s photo. Tori might also be turning a blind eye to Dean’s cheating if the rumors are true that he’s a sex addict who has cheated for years.
Tori’s behavior has grown increasingly odd. She went and bought a super-cute puppy a few days ago (see photos here). I guess Tori needs to take care of yet another living being on top of four children. She (along with Dean, maybe) has also moved out of her $7000/month rental home and into a $10,500/month house. Even though the family is SO broke. The weirdest part is that Tori and Dean abandoned a fully-loaded SUV at the old home. Now E! says that Dean hasn’t been at the new house in days. Are he and Tori are living apart?
They may have kept a brave face for the cameras, but an insider tells E! News that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are leading separate lives.
“They recently moved to a new house together,” the source told us. “But since the cheating scandal, Dean hasn’t been seen at the house very much. Right now he hasn’t been there in several days.”
But despite the growing distance between them, it seems as though the mother of four is doing her best to keep her family together.
“Tori is wearing her wedding ring but it looks like things are very strained. She has had her friend Mehran [Farhat] staying with her and is leaning on him for support. She’s trying to keep things together for her kids and is putting on a happy face,” the insider explained.
“She’s acting as normal as she can and sticking to the same consistent routine. She definitely doesn’t want her kids to be affected by what’s going on.”
Spelling was spotted out and about with her children–and without her husband yet again–over the weekend.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 cast member grabbed a quick lunch with her four kids, Liam, Stella, Hattie, and Finn, as well as her friend Mehran and the children’s nanny.
Spelling and crew got a bite to eat at Maggiano’s in Los Angeles and even took a few doggie bags home with them.
The blonde appeared to be in good spirits as she exited the popular eatery.
Both Spelling and McDermott have remained mum since the cheating rumors first surfaced a few weeks ago.

It sounds like Tori and Dean’s relationship is drawing to a close. He sounds like a mega jerk, and if he’s cheating, Tori might as well cut him loose. Just think of all the reality show sTORIlines that could come as a result. Tori as single mom. Tori on the dating scene. Tori finds love again! The possibilities (and ratings) are endless.
On a brighter note, Tori and Jennie Garth’s crime comedy pilot got picked up by ABC Family. That’s great news for both ladies, but I’m sure Tori will blow her earnings in a heartbeat.

Brit-Brit picked up an award for ?Favorite Pop Artist? while JT took home three awards ? Favorite Album, Favorite Male Artist and Favorite R&B Artist. Let?s talk about Britney first ? she wore this Mikael D. What does this remind me of? Oh, I know! It reminds me of ice skaters, thus, it reminds me of Marchesa. How sad is it that other designers are knocking off the already budget Marchesa ?look??
As for Justin, during one of his acceptance speeches, he took a moment to thank his wife Jessica Biel, saying: ?I’d like to thank all the fans who voted. I’ll take it — people’s champ, I love it. And I’d like to thank my beautiful wife for teaching me patience and the little things like just putting the dishes in the dish washer. It goes a long way — fellas, you’re welcome!” There are some rumors percolating around the internet about their marriage these days, wondering why Biel hasn?t been his date at any recent event. I don?t know what to tell you ? they were always going to be a bizarre married couple because they were always weird while they were dating.

Kaley always wins at the People?s Choice Awards and it?s starting to feel like? I don?t know, she?s our new Jennifer Aniston. She?s the bubbly TV princess striving for something more. I swear, in some of the photos I saw of Kaley, she looked like she was over it. Meaning she wants to Katherine Heigl her way into a movie career. SOON. Kaley?s dress was Sachin + Babi. I don?t loathe it, but I just want to mess around with it a little bit. I think the skirt should be a tad longer, she needs different shoes and maybe pull back her hair??
Here?s Allison Williams in a David Koma sheath dress. I was surprised by the internet reaction to this dress ? people either loved it or hated it. I think it?s a great choice for this particular awards show ? it?s basically a futuristic cocktail dress, and it makes her look like a stewardess from the future. She?s giving me a January Jones vibe here ? three years ago, January would have worn this with a fauxhawk and raccoon makeup.
Malin Ackerman has my vote for one of the worst dressed ladies of the night. Malin wore this titsy Cushnie Et Ochs which is just pissing me off. It’s one of those situations where having smallish boobs “saves” a look from being too trashy, I guess, and we?re just supposed to think it?s ?sexy?. It?s not. Maybe this makes me a prude, but good God, Malin. Put your girls away. (PS? Malin recently separated from her husband, maybe she was ?advertising? for a new man at the People?s Choice).

With nearly every awards show, I wait to see what gawd-awful confection Heidi Klum will wear. Surprise! She actually fared pretty well (for Heidi) in a Giorgio Armani gown. Leave it to Heidi to wear a full-on gown to a relatively minor awards show. All eyes must be on her. The sad part is that Heidi wore the best dress of this bunch. It’s all downhill from here, folks.
Heidi chose a gown with a dramatic plunging neckline, and her body does look great. I especially think the dress looks cool from a back and view (and away from the harsh white background of this red carpet). Heidi accessorized with ginormous bejeweled Lorraine Schwartz earrings and Louboutin pumps. Her hair is probably what I like best out of her own ensemble. The hybrid braid/twist is just right for this dress. I’m just not sure this dress is right for the event. Oh well, it’s Heidi. She can’t do simple.
Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s dress isn’t that awful really, but it is boring. Melissa won the Favorite Actress in a New TV Series award for her role in The Crazy Ones. For her big moment, she wore an understated Sachin + Babi dress in black and white. The dress is lovely but hung on SMG’s body. Perhaps a little more tailoring would have helped, or maybe the dress was supposed to be loose. Whatever the case, Sarah could have brought a little more fun and drama to the red carpet. Those smokey eyes tell the tale of what could have been.
Lucy Hale‘s Gabriela Cadena dress is actually interesting from a close-up view. The abstract, exploding-flower print is quite pretty. From a distance though, Lucy looks like a bunch of street taggers covered her in spray paint. That’s not a terrible thing if one is going for a dramatic look, but the ordinary black pumps ruin that vibe. Shiny silver shoes would have been better. Lucy scored well in the hair and makeup department.
Melissa Joan Hart may have believed she was attending the Country Music Awards. Mel wore a shiny pink-and-gold strapless mullet frock. This dress is so dated and actually would have fit right in during Mel’s 1990s heyday. Her clutch is Oroton. Melissa also went too matchy matchy with the makeup, which is the same shade of Pink as seen on the flowers of her dress. This look is way too girly.
Melissa Rauch (Big Bang Theory) decided she was going big or going home in this hot Pink strapless Rubin Singer gown. This is almost a strapless fancy toga because of the “wrapped” effect. Oh well, you can’t say she didn’t try. The hair is a little bit lazy though. Maybe an updo would have helped? Nah.

Sandra Bullock was probably the biggest name at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. When they were announcing the nominees for Favorite Movie Actress, which Sandy won, I was struck by all the actresses who weren’t there. Also nominated in that category were Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Melissa McCarthy, and Scarlett Johansson. The only other nominated actress who showed up was McCarthy, which worked out well when Bullock and McCarthy won Favorite Comedic Movie for The Heat. It makes me wonder if the winners know ahead of time. Remember when Jennifer Aniston seemed drunk at the PCAs? Good times.
As we’ve come to expect, Bullock’s acceptance speech was funny and heartfelt. You get the sense that she’s extremely skilled at speaking off the cuff, and that she’s very gracious. She thanked her son, Louis, “for letting me come out tonight,” and then added that she won awards “because people work a lot harder than mommy to make her look good.” That was sweet! (You can see videos of the acceptance speeches and hosting moments here.)
In terms of Bullock’s fashion, I really liked her Peter Pilotto dress on camera. In these pictures, I’m not so sure. The dress hudded her incredible figure and it was a nice balance between casual and formal. It looked a little too “sundressy” to me on camera at first, but the cool asymmetric hemline made up for it. Plus it’s the People’s Choice Awards, it’s not the Oscars. Also, I love her makeup and hair, especially because she switched it up instead of doing a flat iron look.
Next up we have one of the night’s co-hosts, Kat Dennings, in David Meister. (This reminds me to apologize that we don’t have photos of Melissa McCarthy, since Meister is her favorite designer.) The dress is a little too “prom” for me with the very typical strapless top, floral print and full skirt. I do like her styling, she’s so pretty. This was one of her red carpet outfits, Dennings changed multiple times during the ceremony. My favorite of Denning’s multiple changes last night was her first dress, a bright blue Oliver Tolentino. You can see that here.
Here’s Denning’s Two Broke Girls co-star and co-host last night, Beth Behrs. She’s wearing Giulietta on the red carpet. Behrs’ dresses during the ceremony were very girly and forgettable, although they all made her look gorgeous. This dress was a little better than the clingy, glittery dresses she wore while hosting.
As for how these two did hosting the ceremony, I was pleasantly surprised. The opening bit, which took place on the set of Two Broke Girls, went on too long, but they had some humorous moments throughout. The standout moment was when Dennings read some made-up tweet requests for songs for Behrs to sing on stage. Behrs was game and did versions of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats,” and Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.” They had a great rapport and riffed off each other. At one point Dennings said “You’re Hathaway, I’m Franco.” They were much better than those two, but that bar is set incredibly low. Here’s their last gown change of the night, below.
Finally we have Nina Dobrev in black and silver sequined Jenny Packham. In photos this dress looks conservative although on camera it stood out and fit her like a glove. I love to see Nina’s fashion game. Something negative: I don’t like her hair piled up on top of her hear like that, it looks weird.
Nina and her Vampire Diaries co-star, Ian Somerhalder, gave one of the best speeches last night. (Excepting Jennifer Hudson, which we’ll get to in a moment.) When they won for Best On Screen Chemistry, they addressed how their real-life dating life paralleled their characters, until they broke up in real life. They said, in turn, “we started dating on the show, we started dating in real life, and then we broke up in real life, and yet our characters were still dating on the show. It’s a good thing it’s not awkward.” Then they looked at each other like it was awkward. It was cute, with Ian even kissing Nina on the cheek afterwards. I get the sense that it’s not “over” yet for them, we heard that they were back together before the holidays!

This ought to be a fun post. As you know, Hollywood can’t resist putting their paws all over the classics to ruin remake them for a quick buck. Most of these remakes are not only unnecessary but fail to preserve the spirit of the original works. Plus it’s plain lazy for filmmakers who would rather rework someone else’s project than come up with a fresh story. The latest victim in this diabolical scheme is Rosemary’s Baby, which was last directed by Roman Polanski (before we all knew he was a predatory douche). NBC will air the remake as a 4-part miniseries.
This news is unwelcome on its face. Why would any network executive think this remake is a good idea? Advertisers are probably interested because people will tune in for the first part at least. Or will they? The Mia Farrow role has been cast, and Zoe Saldana has emerged as the victor. Oh boy. If Zoe thought she received more than enough criticism for playing Nina Simone, she’s not done yet. I’m guessing Zoe may go for the Mia haircut so she can claim once again to live the androgynous lifestyle. Here’s the scoop from Deadline:
Avatar and Star Trek star Zoe Saldana has been tapped as the lead in NBC’s four-hour miniseries Rosemary’s Baby, an adaptation of the 1967 best-selling suspense novel by Ira Levin. The mini centers on Rosemary (Saldana), a young wife and would-be mother who, with her husband, moves into a Paris apartment that has a darkly storied past. After finally getting pregnant, she becomes increasingly suspicious that both her husband and their mysterious neighbors have ulterior motives about the future of her child. The role was played by Mia Farrow in Roman Polanski’s 1968 feature adaptation. “Zoe has proven that she is one of our most gifted actresses, and we think she has the perfect combination of spirit and gravitas to take on the title role from Ira Levin’s infamous novel,” said NBC’s head of longform Quinn Taylor. “With Zoe leading the cast under the direction of Agnieszka Holland, this reimagined event miniseries is off to a great start.” Holland is directing the mini from a script by Scott Abbott. Production is set to begin shortly in Paris. ICM Partners-repped Saldana recently appeared in the Christian Bale drama Out Of The Furnace, and her upcoming projects include Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy and Blood Ties. Rosemary’s Baby is the first miniseries greenlighted by NBC as part of its renewed push in the longform arena. It was followed shortly by an order for The Bible sequel A.D.

You know, I think I’m actually going to change sides and declare myself as being on board with this casting news. I don’t say this because Zoe is such an amazing and “gifted” actress (because she’s not). I won’t even watch this remake because it sounds ridiculous. However, the press tour for this miniseries is going to be amazing. Zoe’s gonna bring her new rack and overly hostile shade in spades. And I can’t wait to hear what comes out of her mouth.

Here are some new photos from the London set of Mortdecai, the new Johnny Depp film, where Depp plays some kind of art dealer on the hunt for Nazi gold. One part National Treasure, one part Indiana Jones, and one part typical Johnny Depp, I guess. As we saw last November, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan Mcgregor also have supporting parts in the film. And now we can see that Gwyneth and Johnny (and Jeff Goldblum!) have some scenes together.
Last month, there were some stories about Gwyneth trying to spread her Goop on Johnny and he maybe didn?t appreciate it. I don?t really understand how Gwyneth has ANY A-list friends whatsoever, but she does and some of them seem to like her or at least tolerate her (although I do think it?s interesting that most of her high-profile friendships, like with Madonna and Beyonce, have gone down in flames). It?s possible that Johnny and Gwyneth have known each other for years and they get along just fine. Or it?s possible that Gwyneth exhausts everyone she knows.
So, what does the body language of these photos say to you? I?ve only selected a few from the larger photoset, but here?s my reading: Jeff Goldblum and Goop are tight. They are ass-kissing, flirty friends. He finds her charming and she simpers winningly in his presence. Johnny sort of likes Jeff, enough to joke around with him. But when Jeff leaves the group, Johnny goes to sit down by himself. Gwyneth traipses over to Johnny and he avoids making eye contact with her as she bears down on him, getting closer. She only sits down for a moment before Johnny squirms away uncomfortably. My reading? Gwyneth wants to be ass-kissing friends with Johnny and he?s not into it at all. I bet she was talking about her stupid New Year’s cleanse.

If you ask Siri about Samantha, she replies, "No. Her portrayal of an intelligent agent is beyond artificial." Asked if Siri is Her, she responds, "No. In my opinion, she gives artificial intelligence a bad name."
