I just spent way too long caring about the latest issue of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In my defense, there?s not a lot of stuff happening in the gossip world today, and in my defense, I honestly didn?t understand why so many sites were running headlines about this episode of KUWTK. I still don?t really know, but I guess it?s because Kim Kardashian was completely bitchy to Khloe and Kourtney during their trip to Japan earlier this year? The trip happened when Khloe was still pregnant, and it was a work trip for Kim, because she was modeling Kanye?s Yeezy collection. But it seems Kim was really worried that her ?clown? sisters were ruining her Yeezy vibe, so she spent the entire trip sniping at them:
Things got awkward when Kim decided to bring sisters Kourtney, 39, and Khlo, 34, on the trip ? only to hate all of their fashion choices. After their first night out, she decided she had to say something.
?I can?t even eat dinner because I?m so disgusted with my sisters? crazy outfits that completely don?t go with my look,? she said. ?Like, I can?t take it. My sisters look so crazy. It?s actually embarrassing. Kourtney with the Japanese-inspired outfit, and Khlo is wearing silver sequins, turquoise eyeshadow, huge chandelier earrings ? they?re just like, completely clashing and making my outfit look really bad and they?re ruining everything. I need the Yeezy collection to be debuted and not all this crazy distraction in the background.?
Sitting down with her sisters the next morning, Kim didn?t sugarcoat her opinions, point-blank telling them they looked like ?f?ing clowns.?
?I?m not kidding. This is not like, a tourist thing where it?s Halloween, dress up like a f?ing Japanese geisha, unless we?re at a geisha house,? she said. ?I just think you?ve got to like, chill. Like, you can be cooler. I?m not telling you guys who to be and what to wear or anything, but I?m telling you who to be and what to wear. It could be time for a fashion overhaul, so that you stay young and relevant.?
And as the days went on, Kim?s criticism showed no signs of slowing down. ?Kourtney and all of the glam people, at this point, hate me, because I just killed all of their dreams,? she said. ?And I don?t care. If you can?t take the criticism, you shouldn?t have come on this trip.? At one point, she told Kourtney she looked ?like a f?ing grandma, 100 percent?.I don?t know ? I saw what I saw, and I saw f?ing clowns.?

No one cares. Seriously! No one cares this much about the Yeezy collection. Not even Kanye cares this much. Why did Kim even invite Khloe and Kourtney on the trip if she was going to criticize them and bully them about their clothes the entire time? That being said, I don?t really care that much, which is probably the point. Kim is a judgmental bitch who loves to boss her sisters around. That?s fun to watch for some people.

Keira Knightley is done with all of this nonsense. Keira wrote an essay called ?The Weaker Sex,? which is featured in the new essay collection Feminists Dont Wear Pink (And Other Lies). In her essay, Keira gets REAL (for-real) about childbirth and how crazy it is and she uses very visceral, descriptive language which honestly made me queasy (but I get easily nauseous at that stuff, it?s not a judgment on Keira or childbirth). Keira?s point is that childbirth is a violent, warlike experience and that every woman who gives birth knows how crazy it really is, and how women are infinitely stronger (physically and emotionally). The part that?s getting the most attention is when Keira goes off on the idea that women should look perfect or presentable or photo-ready just after giving birth. And Keira cites the Duchess of Cambridge, who stepped out seven hours after giving birth to Prince Charlotte, one day after Keira gave birth to her daughter Edie (in 2015).
We stand and watch the TV screen. She [Middleton] was out of hospital seven hours later with her face made up and high heels on. The face the world wants to see.
Hide. Hide our pain, our bodies splitting, our breasts leaking, our hormones raging. Look beautiful. Look stylish, dont show your battleground, Kate. Seven hours after your fight with life and death, seven hours after your body breaks open, and bloody, screaming life comes out. Dont show. Dont tell. Stand there with your girl and be shot by a pack of male photographers.

Many sites are running this as ?Keira slams Duchess Kate,? or ?Keira Hates Photo-Ready Kate? or something. There?s a nuance to it though, right? While I think Keira is perhaps a bit critical of Kate?s choice or was it a choice? to do the photo-op with Charlotte seven hours after giving birth, I think Keira?s bigger point is that WE EXPECT IT. People expect new mothers to look great and fresh and photo-ready. Keira is criticizing society for the most part, and Kate only partially. Plus, it?s not like Kate could flat-out refuse to do those photos standing there with her newborn babies literally counts as work for her, and a big part of her job is having babies. Still, I completely believe that Keira?s point was that men dictate the culture of everything, and men don?t want to see or discuss the viscera of childbirth, so they only promote these sanitized images of women like Kate.
(Plus, I always thought that Kate did the photocall with Charlotte so quickly because Charlotte?s birth was so relatively fast and easy and because Kate felt really good afterwards. Reportedly, William and others tried to talk her out of leaving so soon but she insisted.)

Everybody loves weddings, right? I enjoy them, so I can kind of understand former E! News reporter Maria Menonous decision to marry her longtime partner, Keven Undergaro, again. I think its the third, not the second time thats the charm, but, you never know.
The 40-year-old personality and her 50-year-old spouse were first married on this past New Years Eve during FOXs live coverage. The couple said I do shortly before the ball dropped in a freezing cold Times Square with a quickie wedding officiated by Steve Harvey (who was ordained 48 hours prior to the ceremony). They decided to make it legal once more in a celebration in Marias family?s homeland of Greece on Saturday.
Prior to her second big day, Maria told Us Magazine that, ?It?s gonna be a wild journey,? adding ?Trying to plan something internationally when your dad?s running the show is a reality show.? She describe her dad as a ?bridezilla,? and admitted that, ?I just have decided I?m gonna drink heavily to get through. By the time I land, I?m gonna be nip queen.?
Maria, who was wed in a beautiful lace gown from the Atelier Pronovias 2018 Collection for wedding #1, opted for lace again. For her second wedding she was in for an off-the-shoulder lace creation from designer Celia Kritharioti, who also used silk organza, hand-painted flowers and a veil made from silk tulle to complete the look. The designer posted a photo from one of the fittings and congratulated the couple.
