The glowing, mommy-to-be Vanessa Minnillo Lachey stepped out in Madison Square Park in New York City today (April 18) to promote her new campaign in the 2012 Take a Load Off Laundry Lounge.
The stunning 29-year-old actress looked gorgeous in a black and white dress topped with a coral blazer and some pretty, peep-toe strappy heels.
In personal news, the future mom explained her lifestyle changes to help improve the world her child grows up in while promoting the new Tide Coldwater detergent.
"I definitely want to safeguard the future for my baby. I want to be health conscious for the baby. I'm learning about BPA friendly bottles. A couple have been sent to me and it's great to understand that when plastics are heated, all the toxins [come out]."
She also dished about her hubby, Nick Lachey, on on VH1?s ?Big Morning Buzz Live" and how he deals with her hormonal outburst, saying that he?s very understanding while adding, ?I don?t think you?re every ready until the little one?s there. My dad still tells me he?s learning things every day and I?m 31.?

As she walked onstage, the "House" hottie quickly drew a comment about her changed appearance from Miss Ripa, who said, "You are a stunning blonde!"
To this, Miss Wilde - who told that she was blonde for years before going brunette - happily replied, "And it is so much more fun!"
The 28-year-old continued to explain the motivation behind her lighter locks, saying, "I did it for a movie. I did it for this Ron Howard movie I just finished called 'Rush' which is set in the '70s."

Looking a little thrown together, Ashlee Simpson was spotted carrying her son, Bronx Wentz, out of the Dermatology & Laser Center in Studio City, California on Tuesday (April 17).
With large sunglasses on and half of her hair in a tiny pony tail, the "Pieces of Me" singer walked out of the office wearing a large zip-up sweatshirt with black leggins and black shoes while her curly haired cutie carried a handful of stickers in one hand and a piece of candy in the other.
Even though Ashlee recently jetted down to Sydney, Australia for the opening of the Marquee, The Star Sydney, she's not one bit concerned about missing the birth of her first niece by big sis Jessica Simpson.
Ashlee told a reporter at the event, "I have plenty of time, and I'm going home so it will be fine."
But it seems the labor pains can't come soon enough for Jessica, who is ready to get back to wear heels as she recently tweeted, "I can't wait for the day I can walk in heels again! My feet feel homesick!"

Brooklyn Decker stars alongside Rihanna, two people who were definitely not part of any stunt casting, in the new Battleshipfilm. Hence, this was a perfect and relevant excuse for GQ to put her in bra and panties and take pictures.
To make it seem more official, they fill out the shoot with an interview. An interview where Brooklyn Decker says she’s just like Kristen Wiig’s character in Bridesmaids.
On relating to Kristen Wiig?s Bridesmaids character: “I feel like her character is my inner soul. The ways she acts are my inner thoughts, but I just can’t express them because they’re too nerdy. So if he [Andy Roddick] was calling her crazy, I guess that makes me slightly crazy.”

I don?t think I?ve done any coverage of Carey Mulligan?s relationship with Marcus Mumford. I haven?t been trying to ignore them, honestly. Madonna has a new interview! The complete thing airs tonight on Rock Center, but the Today Show had a preview this morning, and it?s pretty decent. Madonna answers questions about those recent photos of Lourdes puffing away on a cigarette – Madge says she ?wasn?t very happy? about the photos: ?Honestly, I don’t think I’m as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher. It’s hard — every day is a negotiation. But cigarette smoking I’m not very fond of — for anyone.” When Madonna is reminded of the fact that she was smoking a cigarette in her latest ?Girl Gone Wild? video, Madge joked that the cig was ?just a prop.? She also talks about life as a single mother: ?It must be hard, because I complain all the time! We all have our challenges? To be a single mother of four and to work as much as I do, with my life in a kind of metaphorical fish bowl, it’s pretty challenging. But so far I’ve survived with sanity and humor intact.” All in all, this is one of the better Madonna interviews:

I mean? at one point, I was rolling my eyes at her pretension and her ?default? safe place of falling casually into a clipped English accent, but I also think she was pretty honest in this piece. I don?t know when this interview was conducted, but with the way Madge is all puffed up with her ?number one debut? on the charts, it probably was done two weeks ago. Because MDNA bombed – big time – last week, and now everyone is saying that Madonna probably didn?t even reach number one on the charts because of her label?s sketchy math (they were giving the album away for free and counting those as ?sales?). They reference that in the voiceover, but Madge doesn?t talk about it.
Oh, and are we going to talk about her face or how soft and Oprah-like the lighting was? No. Let?s skip it.

An Iggy Pop concert night out turned terribly wrong is now the reason that Johnny Depp is being sued for his bodyguards' alleged mishandling of a disabled woman.
According to the lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court, 52-year-old Robyn Eckert tells that she was seated next to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor in the V.I.P. area at the concert back in December - during which time she was dancing and came a little too close to the actor, which led his security team to grab her from behind and restrain both of her wrists.
Eckert, who tells that she is a professor of medicine at UC Irvine, further explains that the bodyguards also went after her cell phone - which contained important confidential information about her patients - prying it from her hands "one finger at a time".
The claims don't end there, as Eckert goes on to charge that a member of Depp's team put her in handcuffs and dragged her on the ground, which not only caused her pants to be removed, but she also suffered severe injuries including a dislocated left elbow, bleeding and swelling.
The woman is suing for unspecified damages and says the incident also worsened her pre-existing illnesses, spondyloarthritis and fibromyalgia.
TMZ first broke the story back in December and law officials tell them the case is still under investigation and the victim has been "less than cooperative."

This is one of my new favorite Gwyneth Paltrow stories. I like this one even more than all of the stories about how constipated Dame Goop is (true story). Last Friday, Gwyneth and Kristen Stewart were part of a large A-list group gathered in LA for the premiere of Paul McCartney?s new music video for ?My Valentine?. I covered some photos from the event here – most of the girls wore Stella McCartney, to hilariously disastrous results. Gwyneth was actually one of the best-dressed girls at the event, in my opinion. In this post, I?m including photos of Goop at the event, and in the car after the event. So, here?s the funny story: Gwyneth took a car service from the ?My Valentine? party to the post-party dinner. It?s only shocking when you realize that the dinner was held .06 miles away, four doors down from the party. It was a ten-second car ride.
Just in time for Earth Week, Gwyneth Paltrow took a 10-second car ride from the Stella McCartney party to the following dinner in LA on Friday. The event at McCartney?s West Hollywood boutique celebrated the video directorial debut of her dad, Sir Paul McCartney, for his new single, ?My Valentine.? A-list Hollywood turned out, including Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, Jane Fonda and Amy Smart.
Most guests later walked four doors down for the dinner at Madeo restaurant on Beverly Boulevard. Our spy said, ?It?s a short walk. Also at the dinner was Gwyneth [who has starred in green public- service announcements] with husband Chris Martin ? except they left the party in a gas-guzzling Town Car, were chauffeured a few feet and got out at the restaurant that was pretty much next door to the party.?
According to Mapquest, the McCartney boutique (at 8823 Beverly) and Madeo (8897 Beverly) are 0.06 miles apart, a 10-second drive. Paltrow?s rep didn?t get back to us.

Part of me believes this story wholeheartedly, simply because Gwyneth doesn?t want to ever be in a position where she has to interact with peasants, even if it?s just walking down the block. She might run into one of the unwashed masses! How would she ever handle it? Another part of me – the part of me that?s been giving Kristen Stewart the benefit of the doubt lately – wonders if Gwyneth even realized that the dinner was being held at a venue within walking distance, you know? She might not have realized it. I hate myself a little for giving her the benefit of the doubt. We must always assume the worst about Dame Goop, because she so often meets those expectations.

Anna Paquin just announced that she’s expecting her first child with her husband of almost two years, Stephen Moyer. I know these two have been married for a while, but this announcement surprised me. They just seem like the type of couple who is content without children. Plus they’re often seen out with Moyer’s children. He has a 10 year-old daughter from his last relationship and a 12 year-old son from another relationship. Maybe I’m confusing these two with their True Blood characters, though. Here’s their announcement, which was in Entertainment Weekly.
True Blood costars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting, their reps confirmed to EW today. The pregnancy is Paquin?s first; Moyer, 42, has two children from previous relationships. Paquin, 29, is due this fall. The couple were married in Malibu, Calif., in 2010 after meeting on the set of True Blood ?s pilot season in 2007. Paquin is the second-youngest Oscar winner of all time, taking home the gold man for The Piano when she was just 11.
Paquin and Moyer will return to play Sookie and Bill as True Blood returns for its fifth season on HBO June 10.

Kaiser reminded me about this story from Star in 2009 that claimed that Anna wanted to get pregnant after she first got engaged and that she had “already talked to the producers about working around her if she gets pregnant.” Who knows if that was true back then, though. Stephen also very curtly addressed the issue last year of expanding his family with Anna. He said “We are busy at the moment, but it will happen at some point.”
I like that they went with EW to announce Anna’s pregnancy instead of People or US. It seems more fitting since they don’t court the celebrity press. This has me wondering how far they are in filming this third season of “True Blood” and if producers will have to work around Anna’s pregnancy for the later episodes. I doubt they’ll have a Twilight-style hybrid baby on the show, or even some kind of werewolf offspring. They’ll probably just creatively film it so we don’t see Anna’s midsection. Just two more months until TB premieres!

Cameron Diaz covers the May issue of InStyle to promote her horrific looking What to Expect When You’re Expecting movie, which will probably do well simply because everyone who’s ever had a baby has read that book, and surely at least several million of them will be interested enough to disregard the trailer and catch a matinee. So once again, a crappy movie will do well, but at least it’s a crappy movie geared towards women, which balances out the fact that countless crappy movies geared towards men do well all the time at the box office. (So there.) The InStyle photoshoot is rather undershelming even though Cami’s figure does look rather striking in this green dress. Here are some interview excerpts as well:
On fashion: “Couture really is an art form. I’m not trying to fit into anyone?s box about how I should be. I just fit in my own box.”
On her love life: “I would never have guessed that I would end up dating any of the guys I’ve dated–never! There’s no through-line between them. But I love love, and love comes from many different places. When I was going through a bit of a heartbreak a little while ago, I said to a friend, ‘Wow, this really hurts!’ And he said to me, ‘That just shows you what your capacity for loving is.’ I would rather have my heart broken a thousand times than never to love at all. I have so much love to give–I’m not empty of love, I’m full of love.”
On life: “I’m living my life as a journey. My quest is to make it better every year.”

So does anyone have ideas on who broke Cami’s heart? I’m thinking it simply has to be A-Rod, especially since she went to all the trouble to get those bolt-ons he always wanted. Man, I’d be pissed if I got bolt-ons to please a dude only to get dumped. What a douche, that A-Rod.
On the topic of having children, I think Cami dodged that bullet well. While I generally have always figured that she’s a very free spirit and probably will never settle down and spawn a family of her own, she’s walking a very fine line while promoting a movie about pregnancy. While it would’ve been nice to see her pull a Zooey Deschanel and outright admit that she doesn’t plan on having kids, I can see why Cameron would decide not to take that verbal path while pimping this particular film. After all, she plays the role of a very pregnant woman, and the last thing the studio wants is for a lead actress to alienate a prospective audience. So Cami gets a pass here … even though we all know she’s full of crap with that answer.

Putting their best foot forward, Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas were spotted out at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival Vanity Fair Party on Tuesday night (April 17).
Letting her dark tresses hang loose, the "Traffic" actress stepped out all dolled up in a one-shoulder frock with strappy Louboutin heels while on the arm of her "Wall Street" hubby for the second straight night of swanky festivities.
Earlier in the day, Catherine worked on her new film "The Bitter Pill" in the Big Apple alongside Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum, with the movie centering around a woman who turns to prescription medication as a way of handling her anxiety while awaiting her husband?s upcoming release from prison.
On Monday night, the 42-year-old honored her hubby Douglas by presenting an award to him at the 12th Annual Monte Cristo Awards.

Opting to chow down at Scarpetta restaurant, the "Avengers" actress was all smiles as she took a break from her busy schedule while clad in a grey tee with vintage-inspired gold necklaces, along with a pair of white jeans and brown sandals.
Miss Paltrow's new film?s director, Joss Whedon, revealed to the LA Times this morning why the 39-year-old was added to the ensemble cast making up "The Avengers", saying that Robert Downey Jr insisted that she was a crucial addition to his character, Iron Man?s arc through the plot.
"You need to separate the characters from their support systems in order to create the isolation you need for a team," Whedon said during the film's junket, explaining why he didn?t originally include the actress.
"But Pepper, this was really Robert?s thing. He pushed hard ... ," Joss added. "He really thought Gwyneth would bring something great to the table, and we all thought so as well, but he was the one who convinced her to come and do it."
