Supporting her latest project, Kristen Wiig stepped on the Toronto International Film Festival's red carpet on Friday afternoon (September 6).
The former ?SNL? actress joined co-star Sami Gayle for the premiere of their flick ?Hateship Loveship? at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
Per the synopsis, the drama follows the story of a ?wild teenage girl orchestrates a romance between her nanny and her father, who is a recovering addict.?
It?s scheduled to hit theatres later this year.

She?s always up for a chance at publicity, and Bethenny Frankel was in good spirits as she arrived at ABC Studios in Times Square, New York City this morning (September 6).
The former ?Real Housewives? starlet was in the house to promote her new book ?Skinny Girl Solutions? on ?Good Morning America,? and she looked gorgeous in a black skirt and white blouse with Pink and black accents.
As for her personal life, Bethenny didn?t sound very eager when recently asked about the prospect of her tying the knot again.
She shared, "I don't know that I would get remarried. It's too soon to think about. But I'd listen to my gut. All through reality television, being honest, saying what's on my mind -- that was my gut."
And when it comes to parenting, Frankel has it figured out- "I think that when you are with your child, you have to make sure it's quality time. Every day, Bryn and I do at least one quality thing together and I do one thing for myself. I no longer feel guilty about taking 45 minutes for myself, because we take time for us."

She?s one of the top performers of this generation, but even Carrie Underwood hits a snag every now and then.
During her gig in South Texas last night (September 5), the ?Blown Away? babe caught her heel on the tail of her shirt and she tumbled to the stage. However, she didn?t miss a beat and kept singing as if nothing even happened.
After the concert, Carrie tweeted, "Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious! Oh wait, that was me! #5inchneels #klutz."
Underwood also shared, "I can't move my toes. Is that bad?" along with a re-posting of a fan?s tweet, "@carrieunderwood didn't fall tonight. She attacked the floor?While wearing five inch heels?She's got mad ninja skills. #FeelBetter."
Later, Carrie posted a photo of her foot wrapped up in a medical boot with the caption, "Good news, it's not broken...AND I got some new footwear!"

Brown explained, ?It was Katie?s idea to make one that fits in your hand and quickly fits into your bag. The inspiration is chocolate and maybe a little bit of raspberry. They?re really wearable and really pretty.?

Ever since I realized what a hot mess this new Diana movie was going to be, I?ve sort of gone out of my way to avoid discussing it. Seriously, have you seen the trailer? It looks AWFUL. It looks like it came from the same team that did Lifetime?s Will & Kate farcical TV movie. But I have avoided it long enough. It?s time to discuss it. Sort of. These are some photos from the premiere and after-party in London last night. Naomi Watts, who plays Diana, wore white Versace to the premiere. The dress is sexy and beautiful and I really don?t have any issue other than the bust looking slightly ?off?. Naomi?s earrings are Chopard ? gorgeous. Black heels by Louboutin.
Unfortunately, these premiere pics are the proverbial lipstick on a pig. The UK critics are trashing this film completely. One critic said the film is “atrocious and intrusive”. The script is “squirmingly embarrassing.? The Mirror says: “The Queen of Hearts has been recast as a sad-sack singleton that even Bridget Jones would cross the street to avoid? and that Watts ?looks, acts and sounds nothing like the Princess of Wales? Yeah. It got so bad that when Naomi was promoting the film in London a few days ago, she walked out of a radio interview in the middle of taking questions. I have to say though ? while I still wonder what the hell Naomi was thinking, taking this role, I don?t think she should receive the brunt of the criticism? I don?t know, I think it?s unfair that everyone is blaming her.
I?m also including a photo of Naveen Andrews, who plays Hasnat Khan in the film. I love Naveen, but I don?t understand his hair at all. THAT is not what his real hair looks like. It looks like he got a perm!?

Leonardo DiCaprio covers the latest issue of NY Mag to promote The Wolf of Wall Street. This movie is the one where Leo dances and throws money to play his stockbroker character, Jordan Belfort, whose memoir forms the basis of the movie. The trailer gave off strong Goodfellas vibes, but in this piece Scorsese steps in and insists that he does not draw parallels between stockbrokers and the mafia. Scorsese sees Jordan merely as an old-fashioned scam artist who managed to skim about $100 million off the top end. The good times did not last.
Leo talks a lot in this interview about his process with Scorsese. These two are no ordinary actor-director combo. Leo has pretty much been Scorsese’s muse ever since Robert De Niro decided to stop making good movies (with the exception of Silver Linings Playbook last year). Here are some details from Leo himself on the debauchery in Wolf of Wall Street:
Leo talked Scorsese into Wolf: “I told Marty, ‘I don?t think we?ll be able to do a movie like this too many times in the futur.[ Larger-scale, R-rated dramas, like Blood Diamond or The Departed, don?t really get financed anymore."
The author wanted Scorsese too: "Marty directing was Jordan?s dream scenario, absolutely. When Marty couldn't do it the first time, I set it up with a few other directors, but I never felt comfortable pulling the trigger. I was fixated on him. There wasn't anybody else who could bring the rawness and toughness, the music, and particularly the humor required to convey the excitement of these young punks--these robber barons--taking on the Wall Street system."
On Leo's character: "The book personified America?s addiction to obtaining wealth at all costs, and that hasn?t changed. He was a small fish in a gigantic pond, and he'd motivate his guys by telling them they were heroes for taking on the big houses. Un-regulated Wall Street was like the Wild West. There was nothing Jordan wouldn?t divulge, no matter how intimate or embarrassing. That was the attraction for Marty as well--it's the kind of brutal honesty that got Marty into making movies like Mean Streets."
Leo and Scorsese are one: "Marty said to me early on, 'No matter the genre, no matter what kind of movie, people respond to the honesty in the characters.' We weren't interested in sentimentalizing Jordan. We aren?t painting a portrait of someone we want people to feel sorry for. Later in the film, when his life starts breaking apart, people are going to think he?s making the wrong decisions constantly. That?s not to say that people won?t be rooting for him, because he?s a likable guy."
Leo got to know Jordan: "I wanted a close relationship with him so that I could weave intimate details into the movie. Things that weren?t in the book. I was kind of the middleman between him and Marty, and I would bring pages of notes from my meetings with Jordan--things like this insane orgy on a 747 going to Vegas, chimpanzees in diapers that would skate through the Stratton offices, very intimate stuff about his relationships with women--and Marty was game to try everything. His approach was essentially to put everything onscreen and see what we responded to. It was old-school, really independent filmmaking on a larger scale."
Leo on dry-humping a stewardess for the movie: "It?s a modern-day Caligula. The height of debauchery."

Hmm. Is it just me, or does Leo’s horndog character sort of remind you of Leo himself? Leo has quite the reputation for debauchery and suppposedly bedded 7 women during Cannes this year. I’m just saying, there are similarities to be had. I’m guessing Scorsese may have picked up on this vibe too, but I’m sure he won’t tell on his muse.

Do you think Gwyneth Paltrow ever lets her kids have a French fry? She changes her mind about her diet and her kids? diets all the time, and it?s difficult to get a straight answer out of her either way. Sometimes she says she lets the kids eat Oreos and have one soda a week (or something), other times she?s talking about how she put them on a no-carbohydrates diet. I do have to wonder where Chris Martin is in all of this ? does he ever wish that his wife would stop pushing her food issues on their children? Does he ever let them have one French fry each on the down-low? Well, according to The Enquirer, it might have happened:
While Gwyneth Paltrow went off to do a bookstore gig promoting her ?It?s All Good? cookbook in New York?s chi-chi Hamptons, hubby Chris Martin whisked their kids Apple and Moses to a local McDonalds ? even though health-nut Mommy had told him to feed them a healthy, nutritious meal because they?d be on the run all day.
When the family reunited later, sharp-eyed Gwyneth spotted a McDonald?s wrapper on the floor of the car ? and exploded!
?I thought I asked you to take them for a healthy lunch,? she snapped at Chris, then launched into a yada-yada rant about how she :?can?t understand why he never follows her directions?.
Chris quickly defended himself, saying he?d carefully picked ?healthy choices from the fast food menu ? and the kids instantly chimed in that they love eating out with Daddy because ?he takes us to fun places!? Defeated and outnumbered, Mommy rolled her eyes and groaned: ?I give up!?

Speaking of gauche, have you read Gwyneth?s insane Goop-letter this week? The theme is ?Back to School? and you can read the epic mess here. It includes ?healthy? recipes, of course, and an essay from a lady who hates summer. But my favorite part is the ?Back to Office ? supplies? part. Gwyneth shills for all of these smaller boutique companies who do fancy, elite, specialty products like? paper clips. And scissors. And a fancy tape dispenser. What kills me is not the price on these items ? although the prices are absolutely insane for anyone other the 0.1% of crazy rich people who think that it?s perfectly reasonable to spend $8 on 88 elite paper clips ? no, what really kills me is that Gwyneth is too f?king lazy to add hyperlinks to the actual products she?s shilling. The hyperlinks included in the Goop-letter are just to the main pages of the online stores, you have to actually exert time and effort hunting for what Gwyneth has ?recommended?.

Here are the companion photos to yesterday’s Jolie-Pitt photo set at LAX. They arrived in Sydney, and these pics show a group of happy-looking kids leaving the airport and getting into some kind of van. While I always love to see my favorite, Empress Zahara, for me the real standout of these photos is little Vivienne. Viv looks so depressed that her mom made wear black! Viv loves PINK! Viv even has a little Pink travel suitcase with wheels!! OMG. And of course, the rest of the kids are showing their personality too – I feel like Zahara keeps the younger kids in line, whether it’s Shiloh (who has an adorable choppy bob) or Knox, who gets to hold his big sister’s hand.
And in other happy news, Angelina Jolie is going to get another OSCAR. Frankly, I?m stunned. I sometimes wondered if, decades from now, Angelina would receive an Oscar for her humanitarian work, but that was just it: I thought it happen years and years from now. But I guess the Academy really does love her.
And the Oscar goes to…Angelina Jolie! The Governors Awards are still two months away, but fans don’t have to wait to find out who’s taking home one of the coveted honorary statues. On Thursday, Sept. 5, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Jolie — along with Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin, and costume designer Piero Tosi — had been selected by the Board of Governors to receive trophies at the Nov. 16 ceremony in L.A.
“The Governors Awards pay tribute to individuals who’ve made indelible contributions in their respective fields,” Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs said in an announcement about the recipients. “We couldn’t be more excited for this year’s honorees and look forward to bringing their peers and colleagues together to celebrate their extraordinary achievements.”
Jolie, 37, is set to receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the fifth annual event. Named for the Danish actor and philanthropist who served as president of the Motion Picture Relief Fund, the award is given to “an individual in the motion picture industry whose humanitarian efforts have brought credit to the industry.” Past recipients have included Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Lewis, Quincy Jones, Paul Newman, Elizabeth Taylor, and Audrey Hepburn.
Jolie has certainly proven herself worthy of such company. In recent years, the Maleficent actress has become as famous for her philanthropy as for her film career. She’s a noted advocate for many causes, including the Prevent Sexual Violence Initiative, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The star — who has one other Oscar, a Best Supporting Actress award for the 1999 film Girl, Interrupted — even hinted last year that she might want to give up acting to devote more time to her humanitarian work and her family. (She and fiance Brad Pitt have six kids, three of whom are adopted from other countries.)
“I’ve enjoyed being an actress,” she told Britain’s Channel 4 News in 2012. “And I am so grateful to the job. I’ve had great experiences, and I have even be able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered…It’s a really lucky profession to be a part of. But if it went away tomorrow, I would be very happy to be home with my children.”
“I wake up in the morning as a mum,” she continued, “and I turn on the news like everybody else, and I see what’s happening, and I want to be part of the world in a positive way.”

This is a really big deal. Like, it?s a HUGE deal. Look at the company Angelina is in now ? Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman, Oprah?!! Goodness. Everything?s coming up Brangeloonie, huh? I still can?t believe they?re giving it to her NOW. I think it?s not just about her UNHCR work, although she?s been so active with the UN for something like 13 years. I think this is also about her double mastectomy, and wanting to honor her after her difficult year. Plus, the Academy just loves it when Brad and Angelina come to the ceremony, and although Angelina will formally receive the award in November, she’ll also be invited to the Oscars to probably make a brief speech. Brad might even be invited to the Oscars as one of the producers for 12 Years a Slave!

“Always and forever” came to mind immediately when I saw this cover of Town & Country featuring the formidable Hugh Jackman. It also is the perfect way to describe Hugh’s relationship with his wife of 17 years, that lucky bitch Deborra-Lee Furness. I honestly don’t dislike Deborra-Lee despite how jealous I am of her. There’s something so sweet about her relationship with Hugh, and I can’t hear enough about the two of them. I love it when they talk about each other and when Deb humble brags about Hugh. They adore each other, and it comes across as genuine to me and not like they’re trying to prove anything. So that’s why I particularly enjoyed this interview. Here’s some of what they told Town & Country, with more at the source. The article is primarily a profile of Hugh and Deborra, and they only give a few good quotes:
On trying to wait 6 months to propose to Deborra but only lasting four

I like Hugh with a beard, but one that’s much more close cut than this. He definitely needs to shave his neck. That said, these are some sexy photos, right? I want to smack that hand, unless it’s Deborra’s hand, in which case I’ll grudgingly tolerate it. Damn that hand model.
Oh and Town & Country points out that Jackman earned $55 million last year, making him the third highest paid actor behind Robert Downey Jr. and Channing Tatum. He certainly earned it. The Wolverine cleaned up at the box office.

The English model has apparently sparked a new ?booty lift? craze in England. A leading cosmetic clinic says it?s seen a recent increase in women asking for liposuction on the back of the thighs?and they attribute it to photos Miss Brook has snapped and shared of her backside.

After attending the E! Fashion Police Fashion Week Kickoff Party Wednesday (September 4) in New York City, Ashley Tisdale was spotted arriving back in Los Angeles.
The singer/actress has a newfound affection for the Big Apple, ever since her now-fiance proposed to her atop the Empire State Building in August.
The 28-year-old is engaged to rocker boyfriend Christopher French, which means she?s completely forgotten old boyfriend Scott Speer. And French?s ex, Kaley Cuoco, is a fading memory for him as well. (Or at least let?s hope so).
Career wise, the future Mrs. French has four projects in various stages of production, including ?The Great Migration,? in which she lends her voice to one of three wild salmon who encounter a dangerous ?mutant being? during their yearly migration. She stars in the movie alongside her pals Ashley Benson and Vanessa Hudgens.

Shopping at Bvlgari in Beverly Hills Thursday (September 5), Sofia Vergara was all smiles. She ought to be--seeing that she just topped Forbes' list of highest-paid prime-time TV actresses for the second year in a row.
The 41-year-old raked in $30 million between June 2012 and June 2013, according to the magazine. Aside from her salary on the hit comedy ?Modern Family,? her income includes endorsement deals from Diet Pepsi, CoverGirl, Rooms to Go, Comcast, State Farm Insurance, and the thyroid medicine Synthroid. Talk about an eclectic mix!
In addition, the actress has a K-Mart clothing line, and she serves as executive producer of ABC's new drama "Killer Women." She's also one-half of the management company, Latin World Entertainment.
The Emmy-nominated beauty has come a long way since last year when Forbes said she earned (a mere) $19 million.

A big football trade to report?Faith Hill is out and Carrie Underwood is in! The ?American Idol? winner is taking over singing duties of the theme song for NBC?s ?Sunday Night Football.?
Underwood has recorded a new version of ?Waiting All Day for Sunday,? a song that?s a rewrite of Joan Jett?s 1988 rock hit, ?I Hate Myself for Loving You.? Hill sang it for six seasons.
"Obviously, we wanted to make it sound like me,? says the ?Jesus Takes the Wheel? singer, ?but we definitely wanted to bring a fun edge to it. I mean, people are getting ready to watch a big football game. I know I'm known for some big notes, but it was more about just bringing the energy."
The Oklahoma native?s theme will premiere during Sunday's season-opening broadcast when the New York Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys. She?s not taking sides but she admits to growing up in a home that cheered quite a bit for the Cowboys.
