Uma Thurman has given birth! Uma and her baby-daddy/boyfriend Arpad Busson welcomed a baby girl yesterday in New York (I think it was NYC). They haven?t released a name yet. The little girl joins her half-siblings Maya (13) and Levon (10), the two children Uma had with Ethan Hawke. I?m predicting a relatively normal name for this little girl? something kind of boho, but not crazy. Like Summer Arabella Busson or something.
Uma’s a mama again! Uma Thurman gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday, a source confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. No other info was immediately available.
It’s the the third child for the 42-year-old Oscar nominee, who has two children — Maya, 13, and Levon, 10 — with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, and her first with financier beau Arpad Busson.
The Smash guest star and Busson, 49, called off their engagement in 2009, but reunited last year.
“Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid. It was a surprise,” a source told Us, which first broke new of Thurman’s pregnancy back in February. “But she’s over the moon about it, very excited.”
Thurman and her daughter-to-be were feted at a small baby shower in NYC May 31 thrown by her half-sister Taya Thurman. Among the two-dozen guests at the baby pink-elephant themed bash were Thurman’s Smash costars Debra Messing and Will Chase.
Thurman’s ex-husband Hawke has also become a parent again following their 2004 divorce; the actor, 41, and second wife Ryan are parents to young daughters Clementine, 3, and Indiana, 11 months.

Congrats to the happy family! Hopefully they?re happy about it, because I really do think this pregnancy was a complete surprise. Uma announced her pregnancy earlier this year, after there were some suspicious blind items that may or may not have been about Uma?s early pregnancy-partying. Uma was also photographed with a wine glass full of some light liquid back in March, when she was on vacation in St. Bart?s with Arpad and her kids. Hopefully, the baby girl is perfectly healthy and we?ll find out the name soon enough.

Looking every bit the showbiz family, Pink and Carey Hart took their daughter for a walk in New York City yesterday afternoon (July 15).
The ?So What? songstress and her bike-riding hubby looked to be in good spirits as they left their hotel, while little Willow held mommy?s hand and walked all on her own.
In a recent interview, Pink explained that while she used to party a lot prior to motherhood, her life now is much more fulfilling- and it shows on her forthcoming album The Truth About Love.

The last time we covered shirtless Hugh Jackman, not many people commented so I’m hoping that by phrasing this title in the form of a question we’ll encourage more reader participation, as it were. Otherwise the next time Hugh has a hot, wet beach photo op we won’t be so likely to cover it. Which is fine, but I’m crying inside a little. There’s very little I like covering more than shirtless Hugh Jackman. Unless Matt Damon strips down and does the equivalent of a vacation commercial. Which you know isn’t going to happen. The last time we saw him shirtless on the beach was three years ago and he was still pudgy from his Informant weight gain. He needs to show off that Elysium body.
This is Hugh’s rough and ready Wolverine body. He’s due to start filming the Wolverine sequel at the end of this month. If you compare how he looks now in these fantasy-ready candids on the beach in Australia yesterday, with how he looked less than a month ago, he’s even more defined. This is a man who is supremely committed to his craft and my God does it show.
This has got to be my favorite photo, where his shirt is half off. He’s getting ready to come over to rub sunscreen on my back, with slow strong hands.
Anyway here’s what the Daily Mail says about these photos, and about the filming schedule, which takes place in Hugh’s native Australia. Unfortunately Jessica Biel is going to be in it. Why?!

In a sight that surely left women swooning, and men envious, the X Men actor stripped off for a swim in the sea, revealing his rock solid set of abs.
The toned 6ft 2inch performer enjoyed the warm weather and showed off his athletic prowess…
Jackman’s stay in his hometown of Sydney is not purely for play as he will begin filming X-Men sequel The Wolverine at Fox Studios within a matter days.
According to reports, Hugh’s list of requests, a private gym has been set up for him on set and a temporary home has been found for his family in Woollahra.
Local media also estimate the movie will provide an $80million boost to the Australian economy.
Just last week it was revealed that Jessica Biel will join Jackman in the cast.
Biel will play Viper in the sixth installment of the series of films.
According to Marvel?s website, Viper originates from a war-torn Eastern European country and is involved in several parts of Wolverine?s story.

These are some new photos of Matt Damon outside of Comic-Con this weekend. I?m also including some photos of Jeremy Renner at LAX, also this past weekend. Damon and Renner? two wonderful actors, one exiting the Jason Bourne franchise and one entering it. Remember, in the January issue of GQ this year, Matt made some rather pointed (some would argue ?bitchy?) comments about the franchise, about screenwriter Tony Gilroy, and about why he walked away from the massively successful, career-defining franchise ? go here to review his comments. What was nice about Matt?s brutal honesty (or his brutal bitchiness) is that he seemed to genuinely hope that Jeremy Renner would succeed as a completely new spy/assassin in The Bourne Legacy ? Matt seems to genuinely like Renner, and wish him well. Anyway, while Matt was at Comic-Con to promote his sci-fi film Elysium, he ended up fielding a lot of questions about Bourne.
Matt Damon may be attending (his first!) Comic-Con to promote the super secret sci-fi flick Elysium, but that doesn’t mean rabid fans of the Bourne trilogy aren’t wondering whether Jason Bourne himself won’t return to the action franchise at some point in the future.
“No, I mean, I think everyone wants to see how this one does,” Matt told us exclusively when we asked whether there was talk of him returning for a fifth film. So how does Matt think Jeremy Renner will do carrying on his legacy?
“I’ve only seen the trailer. But he looks great in it,” Damon revealed about his successor. “When Paul Greengrass [director of Bourne Ultimatum and Supremacy] and I were talking about potentially doing a fourth one years ago and then handing it off to someone, Renner was the guy we talked about because I’m a huge fan of his. I think he’s great. And I think he fits really well in that world, like, I really believe him in that world. So I think he’ll be terrific.”
Which only means that if the two were to team up the result would be even more terrific.
“I think the movie will be really good. Tony [Gilroy] is really smart, he’s a really good writer and a really good director and I’m sure he made a good movie,” Matt explained to us. “The question will be if they can franchise that movie, because if they can, then they’ll be done with me. They’ll just keep making those.”
After the billion-dollar success Renner had kicking butt in The Avengers, we have a feeling things might just work out for him on this go, too. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if Matt changes his mind someday.
And since this is Comic-Con, where superheroes reign supreme, we asked Damon why we haven’t seen him donning a cape or cowl on the big screen.
“I always kind of viewed Bourne a little bit as a superhero, or antihero character, so I kind of got my hit doing those for those years,” he responded. “Daredevil was always the one Ben [Affleck] and I grew up reading, we loved Daredevil, but Ben got that one.”
Matt continues, “It’s like a sci-fi movie, they’re hard to do really well and when they’re done well, often times, look at The Dark Knight, it’s just a stellar, incredible seriesa?but they had a great actor playing Batman already. There wasn’t anything for me to do. So when the roles do come around that are really great?when Iron Man comes around, that’s Downey?there wasn’t any part for me. Maybe there’s some superhero left over that I can play someday.”
Just don’t ask him to do a reboot (got that, Team Daredevil?)
“I don’t think I could do a reboot. The reboots are happening so fast now,” he griped. “The new Spider-Man comes out 10 years after the first one, that’s kind of crazy. But it works. People seem to want to see those movies. So I think we’re going to have a steady diet of them for a little while.”
For those keeping score at home, that’s Bourne sequels: 0, superhero movie: maybe!

I think Matt was being honest ? this is the guy, after all, who says ?yes? to whatever dumb stunt Jimmy Kimmel wants to pull and this is guy who appears in, like, ESPN commercials. If The Bourne Legacy does well and they want Matt to come in and do something with Renner for another film, Matt probably would. But I think Damon is being realistic with the ?The question will be if they can franchise that movie, because if they can, then they’ll be done with me. They’ll just keep making those? ? if Renner and The Bourne Legacy are successful, then why would they need to pay Matt Damon $20 million for anything, you know? So? whatever happens, I think we just need to understand that Matt will probably never play Jason Bourne again. Which isn?t the worst thing, really ? the original trilogy really holds up.

When we discussed Jennifer Lopez?s announcement on Friday, I said that I was disappointed in her decision to quit American Idol. I read it as Jennifer quitting a show that had given her career a second act, and that she probably left after a squabble about money (and/or scheduling). But! Some of you theorized that with Jennifer AND Steven Tyler?s hasty exits, that they had been pushed out rather than deciding to leave of their own volition. The Wrap and Radar agrees with that theory ? their sources claim that Jennifer asked for a $2 million bump in salary, and Idol was all “Eh. Not so much.”
Jennifer Lopez says it was her choice to leave “American Idol” — but the singer was actually dumped by Fox when she asked for a $2 million raise in salary to $17 million, a person familiar with the negotiations told TheWrap.
Fox also opted not to pick up Steven Tyler’s option, the person said. Tyler announced his departure Thursday, saying he had decided to devote his energies to his first love, Aerosmith. Lopez said she wanted to focus on other aspects of her career and her children.
The exits — and the possible departure of Randy Jackson, widely speculated to be considering an exit after judging on all 11 seasons of the former No. 1 show — come as it undergoes another dramatic overhaul, just two seasons after the show was retooled by introducing Tyler and Lopez.
The insider said top Fox executives Peter Rice and Kevin Reilly want to revamp the show, and that Rice has told colleagues he wants an “Idol 2.0,” of which host Ryan Seacrest would be the only essential ingredient.
A Fox spokeswoman declined to comment.
The insider said J. Lo’s fee went from $12 million in her first season to $15 million in her second. When she asked for another $2 million, the network surprised her by not making a counteroffer.
“Idol” lost its top spot in the ratings to NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” last season after eight years of dominance. In their two seasons, Tyler and Lopez helped prop up the show. But they could not return it to its former dominance as the sing-off market became glutted with competition, including NBC’s “The Voice” and Fox’s “X Factor” from ex-”Idol” judge Simon Cowell.
That glut — which also includes ABC’s “Duets” — has created a mini gold rush for singers.
Many music stars are being considered to replace Lopez and Tyler, including Mariah Carey — whom Cowell has long sought for “X Factor” — Kanye West, Mary J. Blige and Lenny Kravitz.
If Jackson stays with “Idol,” he has an inside track with Carey that his former “Idol” colleague lacked: Jackson is Carey’s manager.

So it was about money AND it was about being dumped. Allegedly. I could see it playing out like this ? Jennifer wasn?t sure if she wanted to do another season but she wanted to see how much they would give her, and when they didn?t dump at the chance to pay her $17 million, she saw the writing on the wall and it became a ?mutual? decision. And poor Steven Tyler!
As for the names being mentioned as possible replacements? well, you know Mariah would be a glorious trainwreck and people would simply tune in to see THE MARIAH SHOW, also known as American Idol WITH Mariah Carey. Mary J. Blige has the benefit of being actually qualified to mentor young talent and give good criticism, so obviously she?s probably not really in the running. Lenny Kravitz would be interesting ? have you ever seen him in a television interview? He?s actually a really good sport, and he doesn?t mind making fun of himself. He would be interesting. And Kanye? well, if Mariah is on board, then I really hope and pray that Kanye signs on too. Because that would be MAGIC!! Kanye + Mariah = MUST SEE TV.

The celebratory day of spirituality comes as a welcome break from current legal drama for Green and Fox - as the pair recently filed a legal response to photographer Delbert Shaw's lawsuit claiming that Brian both threatened and assaulted him for taking snaps during a family vacation.

Taylor Swift was revealed as the highest paid celebrity under the age of 30 by Forbes magazine today, who estimates that she raked in close to $60 million in 2012. Sixty million dollars. She’s twenty-fucking-two. The Daily Mail says:
The 22-year-old star’s riches are largely due to the success of her albums and tours, with CDs Taylor Swift, Fearless and Speak Now going platinum at least four times.
Swift even beat out Justin Bieber, the only male celebrity in the top five.
The rest of the top five are filled out by female singers with Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry taking third, fourth and fifth places.
I don’t know what I’m sadder about — that these dumb twats make that kind of money, or that I no longer qualify for the “under thirty” part. I seriously need to come up with a talent that’ll make me rich. Being able to unhinge my jaw isn’t enough anymore.

Getting in a quick morning workout, Nicole Richie was spotted leaving a local gym in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday morning (July 15).
The "Fashion Star" mentor looked sporty in an all-black workout ensemble that included yoga capris and a form-fitting tank top as she was spotted heading out to her vehicle with what looked to be a healthy drink in hand.
