TMZ reports that around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, Kevin Costner was driving to a meeting in Hollywood when he felt sick and light headed. Depriving everyone the joy of hearing news that he passed out behind the wheel and crashed into a parked police cruiser, Costner pulled over and called 911. While paramedics made their way over, Costner started vomiting.
He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical and held overnight for tests. Costner was discharged the next day when the tests came back normal.
No word on why Kevin Costner was vomiting. There were recent reports of a salmonella outbreak across the country which could be the case. Or if it’s anything like what happened to me last night, Kevin should make sure he gives the girl the “right” drink next time. Heh heh heh.

As he continues his battle with cancer, it has just been reported that Patrick Swayze has been hospitalized due to a case of pneumonia.
Robert DeBitetto, president of A&E, made a statement which reads: “Patrick has asked that I tell you that he has checked himself into the hospital this morning for observation after coming down with pneumonia.”

Nicole Kidman gave an interview to a Sydney radio station in which she revealed that she had a difficult time sitting through her epic film, Australia, and that it was only the second movie she’d acted in that she’d actually watched in her entire career. Then she said that she fled her native Australia immediately after the film opened in an attempt to avoid reading any negative coverage of her performance:
It was expected to be the blockbuster that saved Australia’s tourist industry - because with ‘local star’ Nicole Kidman in the key role, where could it go wrong?
But in her eyes, her role in the 50 million movie Australia was a flop.
She admits in an astonishing interview with a Sydney radio station that she couldn’t bear to watch it when she attended the premiere in the harbour city in November.
Miss Kidman, who plays an English aristocrat who falls for a cowboy played by fellow Australian Hugh Jackman as they drive a herd of cattle across the outback, told radio station 2dayFM that she couldn’t look at the movie and be proud of what she had done.
In fact, she revealed, she ’squirmed’ in her seat throughout the Sydney premiere.
Miss Kidman, who attended the premiere with country singer husband Keith Urban, said: ‘I can’t look at this movie and be proud of what I’ve done.
‘I sat there and I looked at Keith and went “Am I any good in this movie?”
‘But I thought Brandon Walters (an 11-year-old Aboriginal boy) and Hugh Jackman were wonderful.
‘It’s just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all.’
She said she was so nervous about her performance that she fled Australia as soon as the premiere was over with her husband and their five-month-old daughter Sunday Rose.
‘We ran because I didn’t want to read anything. I didn’t want to know.
‘I saw my sister and my family and we saw Keith’s family and then we were straight on a plane.’
She said she had only attended the premiere to please director Baz Luhrmann, with whom she made ‘Moulin Rouge’.
‘I don’t usually see my films, but because of Baz I had to see it. I saw “Moulin Rouge”.
‘I’ve really only seen that and this in my whole career.
‘It gets worse as I get older.’

Kidman’s performance has been widely panned by just about every critic out there. In fact it had a lot of people asking if she could really act anymore. To be fair, an overly-Botoxed brow never helped an actress in terms of her actual performance. But to say Kidman came off as stiff is an understatement. I can’t help but wonder if Nicole would feel similarly about her other movies if she’d seen them. I can see how hard it would be to watch yourself on film, no matter what. I can’t even imagine how you could sit through a nearly three hour movie when you come off as flat and awkward.
Nicole has often been labeled frosty, and she has picked some roles that work well with it. That might be something to consider in the future. Along with keeping syringes away from her forehead.

Patrick Swayze, who recently admitted that he?s ?going through hell? due to his treatment for pancreatic cancer, has been hospitalized for pneumonia, according to US Weekly. A while ago Swayze said reports about the severity of his condition were exaggerated, but he obviously has a weakened immune system due to chemo, and that leaves a person extra exposed to viruses.
Patrick Swayze has been hospitalized for pneumonia, the president of A&E announced at a panel Friday.
“Patrick has asked that I tell you that he has checked himself into the hospital this morning for observation after coming down with pneumonia,” said A&E president and general manager Robert DeBitetto. “As anyone who has had a friend or family member that has undergone treatment for cancer, chemotherapy can take a toll on you immune system. Patrick did want me to tell you that he is very sorry he couldn’t be at panel this morning, but he plans to get back to promoting The Beast as soon as he is back on his feet.”
In a ABC primetime special Wednesday, Swayze, 56, denied that he was on his deathbed but said he may have only two years to live.
“I’d say five years is pretty wishful thinking,” said the actor, whose A&E series The Beast premieres next week. “Two years seems likely if you’re going to believe statistics.
“I want to last until they find a cure, which means I’d better get a fire under it.”

Pneumonia can be very dangerous to anyone, but especially if you have cancer. I was in the hospital with a bout of it last winter, and it took months to fight off the lingering effects. Hopefully Patrick got to the hospital early on, which would help his outcome. It?s a miserable thing to go through, but he?s already proved that he?s incredibly tough.

Lindsay Lohan left her constant companion Samantha Ronson at home the other night to hang with Sean Penn. He and Lohan went to Nobu in West Hollywood, reports Celebuzz.com. Later, Page Six sources said the pair - who were spotted together all over Manhattan last month - went to newly reopened club Guy’s. Ronson and Lohan have been fighting for weeks, and as one tipster told us, “Sam broke up with Lindsay but she is completely in denial about it.”

It seems likely that Lohan and Ronson have broken up. They?re nearly constant companions, yet they haven?t been spotted together since the first of the year, when they had one of their epic fights on an airplane. And hanging out all the time with Sean Penn doesn?t really speak to a healthy relationship. I find that to be such a random and confusing pairing.
It really didn?t seem like Samantha was going to be able to handle Lindsay in the long run. Sam did tone her down and appeared to help her with some of her issues, but a Lohan is a Lohan, and there?s only so much you can do. At this point I?d be seriously surprised if we saw Lohan out with Samantha again, though I doubt she?ll admit to a breakup for a while. At least she has Sean Penn’s shoulder to cry on.

Nearly every gossip site has devoted articles to behind-the-scenes interviews or eye-witness accounts all related to Brad and Angelina. According to attendees, Brad wouldn?t stop fondling the mother of his six children.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt couldn’t keep their hands of each other at the Critics Choice Awards last night in Santa Monica, according to eyewitnesses.
The couple seemed to be making the most of their night out as a couple - acting like teenagers, while their six children were tucked up in bed back home.
A fellow attendee told Usmagazine.com they were “kissing and looking lovingly at each other” throughout the night.
“At one point, Brad had his hand all the way up Angelina?s dress!” the source adds.
Angelina recently told reporters that she loved Brad’s performance in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: “I was charmed by it. When I first saw the film…I was really moved. I thought he was wonderful.”

What is it about awards shows that gets Brad hot? Is it the klieg lights or the open bar? We?ll never know. OK! magazine also has a ?top story? about Angelina is going back to work after taking more than a year off. I don?t really know why that?s news - she?s been signed onto Salt for months, but apparently it was news to someone at OK! Angelina actually spoke to an OK! reporter at the Critics Choice, and told them that after she works for a few months, she?ll be taking more time off.
With six kids running around the house (or mansion, chateau, estate, what have you), it’s no wonder Angelina Jolie has needed time to take care of her growing family. But now the busy mom says she’s ready to get back in front of those movie cameras again.
“I have had a year off, and I may work for a few months,” she told reporters at last night’s 14th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Even if Angie does pick up a new film project, don’t expect her to stick around for long after that.
”But if I do, I’m probably going to take another year and a half or two. I’m going to work a lot less.”
Partner Brad Pitt has also been busy, filming Inglorious Bastards with Quentin Tarantino and promoting The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, so perhaps it’s his turn to mind the nest awhile.
Both parents will have a packed schedule in the coming months, as Angie and Brad are each up for numerous awards.

This slip has brought about wild speculation that Brad and Angelina have secretly married. I don’t know why it’s so important, but they probably aren’t. They have about 16 kids so this probably confuses people. At this point, people should be more concerned about how they’re going to install a turnstile in Angelina’s vagina.

Amy Winehouse is still vacationing in St. Lucia even though staff and guests and pretty much everyone there want her to leave. Amy’s spokesman responded, “Amy misunderstood a conversation and wrongly believed a slight was made. The matter has been resolved.”
They should force Amy to wear a shock collar. That way when she does anything bad, they can send 100 or however many volts through her. I’m not sure how much is safe for a human. I think a good way to find out is to put it on Amy and start high and go low until she stops frothing at the mouth.

Anne Hathaway is Hollywood?s latest golden girl. At the Critics Choice Awards Thursday night, she tied with her The Devil Wears Prada co-star Meryl Streep for Best Actress, and gave a meandering but gracious speech. Included in the speech was a shout-out to her father, who ?protects me and has shown me that there are good men in this world and lets me know everyday that I am worthy of the love of good people.” That veiled comment about Raffaello Follieri got the most applause - Hathaway has arrived.
Unfortunately, this arrival didn?t save her from a beat-down from her Bride Wars co-star Kate Hudson while filming a pivotal scene. People magazine has the details.
Getting into character a little too much, Kate Hudson says she accidentally punched her Bride Wars costar Anne Hathaway in the face during the movie’s catfight scene.
“We were really tired, and I had this big rock on my finger. … I whacked Annie in the face so hard,” Hudson said on the Rachael Ray show Thursday. “She was like: No, no, keep going because she was so into it. … Two hours later, she’s sitting in the back of a car with an ice pack on her face. I was so bad. I really clocked her.”
Hudson, 29, also told Ray about the main man in her life ? her son Ryder.
“He’s got a different brain than I do. I was all sport and energy. … Ryder is a mind child,” she says, “He really loves music, and he knows every word to “Viva La Vida,” the Coldplay song.”
She’s also surprised how quickly he’s growing.
“Today we were talking about the day he was born…and now that he’s 5, it’s like: Mom come on I’m going to be five for a whole year. I’m like: Wow, that’s amazing, one whole hand,” Hudson says.

It?s rare to hear about actresses suffering physically for their work - even rarer because Bride Wars is supposed to be a silly comedy. I guess all of those pratfalls come at some physical expense, and I?m glad Hathaway kept going with the scene.
With regards to Hathaway?s veiled comments about Raffaello Follieri, I was a little surprised. She hasn?t said much about him publicly, but I thought her way of pivoting to her relationship with her father was a relatively classy way to talk about the situation. Her lead role in Rachel Getting Married continues to gain critical buzz, and she?ll probably be considered a shoo-in for an Oscar nomination now.

Back to a strikingly fabulous red coif, Ashlee Simpson was spotted out to eat last night on Hollywood Boulevard with a few friends.
The “Little Miss Obsessive” songstress looked sleek and sexy as she passed the paparazzi sporting a black top with black trousers and a pair of thin-strapped black heels.

Justin Timberlake?s clothing line, William Rast, will be debuting its spring line at New York Fashion Week in Bryant Park on February 16th. The line was founded in 2006 with Timberlake?s friend, Trace Ayala. This is the second show in New York, following the one in September when Timberlake fans were disappointed that he didn’t perform:
The show is scheduled for Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. And for those who might anticipate a concert, there won?t be one. A spokeswoman for William Rast said that while Timberlake is scheduled to be present at the show, there will be no performance. This will be the brand?s second show during fashion week in New York. The last show, in September, was held at the Roseland Ballroom when a Timberlake performance was rumored but never materialized, much to the anger of attendees.

Timberlake apparently isn?t feeling the pressure of the economy, while famous designers like Vera Wang and Betsey Johnson are avoiding doing runway shows due to the recession. Vera Wang released a gracious statement about her decision in December:
?To do big shows, you really need shock and awe. You need big accessories, you need power and drama in staging and in the clothing. I want to see what I think feels politically correct and feels appropriate from a business point of view at this stage.?

It?s probably more of a business decision than an ideological issue, but we?ll let that rest for now. The question is really whether Justin Timberlake?s line is good enough for Fashion Week. The collection on the website is surprisingly good. The prices are pretty average for high-end pants and tops; about $200 for a pair of jeans. The men?s collection looks like Justin?s wardrobe ? classy leather jackets, button-up shirts, and sweaters. The women?s collection is also interesting, featuring classic pieces like straight-leg jeans and pea coats with contemporary, asymmetrical elements.
If the spring line is as good as the collection online, the chance to show his clothes with less competition for press may be a good opportunity for the company.

Remember that Wilmer Valderrama guy? He pretty much dropped out of sight after dishing to Howard Stern in early 2006 about his famous ex-lovers. The guy who probably blabbed his way out of a career and a lot of opportunities to get laid may have found another willing date. Unlike his previous conquests, his latest isn’t likely to care if he talks smack about her. Wilmer Valderamma has hooked up with brash singer Pink, according to the National Enquirer:
[Pink], 29, bumped in 28-year-old at an Ultimate Fighting event at the MGM Grand on Dec. 27 - and that led to an even later night at the Sin City hotspot LAX…
At LAX… they [were] seated into a VIP table onstage and tossed back shots of Patron tequila followed by drinking Duckhorn Merlot.
“Pink and Wilmer were definitely feeling no pain, and they got very touchy-feely,” according to an eyewitness.
The two - both notorious partiers - seem to be a natural match.

Maybe it led to more for these two, or maybe they just got wasted together and left it at that. Usually that type of encounter leads to a regrettable night in a hotel room and a wicked hangover. Pink is pretty unapologetic about her love of partying and isn’t like to take it to heart if that happened and Valderamma was just out for a good time. You can’t imagine that anyone would consider that guy boyfriend material at this point anyway.
Valderrama is the voice of popular children’s cartoon “Handy Manny” on the Disney channel and has an upcoming role in the ChiPs movie as Ponch. His involvement does not bode well for the big screen version of the popular 70s television show.

The new-found breadth and definition of Jake Gyllehaal’s upper body that suggests his testosterone levels are very high, and when you consider that testosterone has the negative effect of actually inhibiting the immune system, Jake’s obvious good health demonstrates a superior gene quality. Factor in the prominence of his brow and the masses of body hair, and I’d say all signs point to a real prowess for gathering food, building houses and defeating rivals — a suitable mate in every sense of the word! It just doesn’t sound quite as sexy when you put in terms of the biological imperative.
