Making the most of her time in Manhattan, Jessica Alba showed up at ABC Studios in Times Square for an appearance on ?Good Morning America? today (August 12).
The ?Good Luck Chuck? chick was gorgeous in a Pink patterned Antonio Berardi dress with silver platform heels as she plugged her new movie ?Sin City: A Dame to Kill For? while chatting with Robin Roberts.
When asked how she continually maintains her flawless physique, Jessica explained, ?I actually workout now for stress. I have a company, kids and a husband, and my job. I watch TV, I listen to really loud hip hop. I need all the stimulation.?
And of her role in the new dark drama, Alba noted, ?In the first movie, she's an innocent sweet girl. She's a damsel in distress. In this movie, she's a crazy sad girl trying to find strength to avenge the death of her great love and in the end she kicks butt. Sin City was super ground-breaking. This is the next level. It's beautiful, it?s artistic, its 3D. The guys are smoking hot and the chicks are bad in the best kind of way.?

She always has a blast with Jimmy Fallon, and Katie Holmes looked ravishing as she stopped by ?The Tonight Show? last night (August 11).
The ?Mad Money? starlet was in the house to promote her new film ?The Giver,? though it wasn?t long before Fallon invited her to play a silly new game.
Jimmy pulled out two iPads and announced they?d be going toe-to-toe in Photobooth, a contest to see if they could imitate each other?s strange pictures.
Katie kept cracking up, declaring, ?It?s so bad!? while Fallon sized up Holmes? snapshot and observed, ?There?s a lot of forehead, let me see if I can match that... so there?s a lot of forehead.?
Finally, the animated host thanked Katie for playing along, noting, ?You are the coolest and most fun!?

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian out and about in NYC yesterday. Because that?s where we are in the gossip world today and I?m really just trying to keep afloat after yesterday?s tragedy. So, let?s talk about Pinocchio Butts and lies. Robin Williams would have wanted us to laugh, you know? Kim had at least two costume changes yesterday. The black outfit was earlier in the day, and I actually sort of like it, but that?s the ?90s Girl in me talking. Every woman in the 1990s had a shirt exactly like that. You wore it with black boot-cut jeans and a black bra.
As for the other outfit? ugh. Kim wore that last night when she stopped by the Watch What Happens Live studio (I guess she did a pre-taped bit, because I can?t find any video online). I?ll give her something: the color is really beautiful. The design? Not so much. I don?t understand her obsession with cutouts, especially in her midsection. Anyway, the dress isn?t so bad from the front but it?s crazy-unflattering from the back and you can see how Kim is pretty much poured into it. So, overall? these outfits are far from the worst she?s ever worn. But that doesn?t mean they?re good. Or fashion-forward.
Incidentally, a source recently spilled some details about how Kanye adores Kim ? allegedly, he?s always surprising her with gifts, mostly clothes and shoes. But he also leaves the studio in the middle of the day to bring her yogurt. Sure. When he?s in town. Because they usually aren?t even in the same city.

Kicking off the week with a little real estate shopping, Jennifer Garner toured several properties in her neighborhood that were ?for sale? on Monday (August 11).
The ?Alias? actress donned a tucked-in black t-shirt with a denim skirt and an army green jacket as she perused the listings and chatted on her mobile phone.
Meanwhile, Jen has been targeted by another round of pregnancy rumors as of late, though her rep decisively told press, ?It?s not true.?
Still, tabloids insist that Garner is desperate to get knocked up in order to save her marriage to Ben Affleck. Per a supposed insider, ?They have been going through a very rough patch and Jen will do anything to make Ben happy. Having another baby may be their last ditch effort to mend the marriage.?

So, the latest installment of this summer?s ongoing Beysus-Jay Saga is this report in E! News. Their sources claim that Jay is trying to win back Beyonce but that she?s ?turning to family and God.?
Will Jay Z and Beyonc be the next celebrities to consciously uncouple? The spouses of six years have not commented on the status of their marriage amid reports that they’re on the outs.
“There has been talk of divorce and it’s been really tense at times on the tour,” a source tells E! News of the private pair. “Beyonc has been leaning on her mom and sister a lot since they are so close. Jay wants everything to work out and is trying to convince Beyonc how much he does not want a divorce. It’s flowers, constant texts and telling her he loves her. He is pulling out all the stops.”
The rapper, 42, and the singer, 32, completed their On the Run tour on Aug. 6 in San Francisco, Calif. The musicians, who are parents to Blue Ivy Carter, 2, will take their act to Paris for two shows in September.
For now, they seem to be putting on a united front. “While they’re still on tour, it’s all business,” an insider says. “They’re professionals and they’re trying to keep everything as professional as possible.”
In fact, after their last U.S. concert, Beyonc Instagrammed a photo of the daddy-daughter duo boarding a plane. “Thank you San Fran! Your city is beautiful,” the “Partition” singer wrote. “It was the perfect place to complete the best tour of my life! Thank you to all the fans that supported our show. God bless.”
Instagram, it seems, is Beyonc’s preferred medium for sharing her side of the story. She’s mulling her options, according to sources, but it may be too little, too late.
So what’s next for the hip-hop power couple, who have collectively created a nearly $1 billion empire? “Beyonc is torn because she loves Jay so much and wants to keep their family together,” a source tells E! News of the Grammy-winning musicians. “She’s turning to family and God to help her through it.”

You know there?s real marriage trouble when someone talks about turning to God for help. It?s like? hey, there are all of these reasons to split and we can?t even stand to be in the same room together, so maybe God can help out. I?m not disrespecting the idea of turning to prayer during a bad moment or crisis, by the way. I?m just pointing out that this is the first time in this particular saga that we?ve heard that Beyonce is listening to her family (Tina and Solange) and God. God?s like, ?Hey, there was a billion dollars in the elevator, what can I do about it??

I can’t believe that I’m writing Miley Cyrus so soon after for yesterday’s premeditated pee pose. We’re playing right into the twerkmaster’s clever plan, but this story bothers me. Miley has so many pets. The situation is coming to a head with her new pet pig, which she uploaded all over Instagram yesterday.
I have strong feelings about people treating pigs like accessories. It happens often enough with dogs and cats. Pigs have it even rougher. I think this is a “regular” pig in Miley’s arms, right? So it will grow much bigger and possibly become too much pet for Miley to handle. This could be even more disastrous than the case of the micro-pigs who were part of the 2009 Golden Globes swag bags. Celebrities were gifted “coupons” and only had to attend an hour-long seminar to adopt these pigs. For real. I heard of one situation where an attendee cashed in his coupon and kept the pig for a few weeks. He and his family were delighted that the piggie was so cute. Before too long though, piggy was shipped off to god knows where.
Anyway, I hope Miley is responsible with this pig. She’s named it Bubba Sue and seems attached already, but her track record with pets is spotty. Miley just lost her favorite dog, Floyd, in early June. (This wasn’t the first dog she lost under similar circumstances.) She wisely waited three months to adopt a new dog. She started showing off Emu for the paps a few weeks ago. Emu is now the fourth dog in Miley’s current cache. Four dogs should be more than enough, right? Now Bubba makes five.

It was less than 24 hours ago that the world lost Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar has released a statement to share her thoughts as she mourns the late actor.
Of her ?The Crazy Ones? costar, SMG told people, ?My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams.?
?To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the Father I had always dreamed of having.?
?There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him. I will miss him every day, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you.?

Here are some photos from last night?s premiere of The Giver. From what little I know of this movie, it involves a society that gives people drugs so they can?t see colors or feel all the feelings, and something about the color red is very significant. Like, when people stop taking the drugs and start reading books, they see all the colors. Thus, most of the ladies wore something red to the premiere. It actually works ? there seems to be some kind of theme and all of the women complement each other very well.
First, Taylor Swift wore this Monique Lhuillier Resort 2015 gown with Casadei pumps in that beige-y nude that is so popular these days. I guess I?m happy that they aren?t nude LK Bennetts or Louboutins, but still? Swifty didn?t bring her shoe game for the premiere. As for the Lhuillier dress? this makes me a prude, I know, but I?ve always had an aversion to wearing darker colors on top of lighter colors. Like, I hate it when people wear white pants and a black shirt. I just have a knee-jerk reaction to it ? the darker color should always go on the bottom. But that?s just me. It?s a lovely dress and it feels very vintage-y to me, like this is a revamped debutante dress from the 1950s.
Next up: Katie Holmes in Zac Posen, with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Zac Posen usually isn?t my favorite designer, but I like this. I like the constructed bust and the fabric train at the shoulders, in the back. The color is pretty and Katie?s makeup looks great. I was going to say that her hair is the worst part but now that I?m looking at it? it?s not that bad, really. I like that she pulled it up and styled it. Her hair is better than Swifty?s, in any case.

I’ve been a fan of Anna Kendrick ever since her Oscar nominated performance for Up in the Air. She’s incredibly talented and has done all sorts of movies. Even those ridiculous Twilight films. There’s also a strong undercurrent of men who adore Anna. They really, really dig her. She’s so pretty yet accessible, and her Twitter account reveals the most wicked sense of humor. Oddly enough, Anna appeared in Elle for the July issue and said no one hits on her. Ever. She says no one has flirted with her in five whole years.
Someone must have hit on her. Someone named Alfie Allen. He’s best known for his role in HBO’s Game of Thrones (and being Lily Allen’s brother). Alfie broke up with Jamie Winstone in July. Anna’s been officially single since she and Edgar Wright broke up last year (after a 4-year relationship). A new report that originated from the New York Post says that Anna and Alfie had drinks together in Vegas. I actually can’t locate the original article, which may make this report suspect. Actress Anna Kendrick has sparked rumours of a new romance with Game Of Thrones star Alfie Allen after they were spotted on a date in Las Vegas.
The pair reportedly requested “a dark table” at Sin City’s SushiSamba hotspot this week (begs04Aug14), when Kendrick and Allen were seen enjoying drinks together, according to the New York Post.
The Pitch Perfect beauty has been single since splitting from her boyfriend of four years, director Edgar Wright, in early 2013.
Allen, the younger brother of British pop star Lily Allen, ended his on/off relationship with actress Jaime Winstone last month (Jul14). He is best known for portraying Theon Greyjoy on the hit fantasy series.

What do you think? Anna and Alfie would make a cute couple. She’s got such a sharp wit and ascerbic sense of humor. And Alfie? He called out Lily for lying about being offered a GoT role. That was pretty funny. I don’t know how serious I want Anna and Alfie to get. A fling might be nice. If Anna ever married him, then she’d be sisters-in-law with Lily, who is a total pill. Alfie is cute though, in a very dashing British way. Go for it, girl.
