Showing off her athletic prowess, Teri Hatcher competed in the Malibu Triathlon being held on the beaches of Malibu, California on Sunday morning (September 12).
With money being raised for the Children's Hospital, the "Desperate Housewives" beauty strapped on a wetsuit as she swam the Pacific waters for Team Disney.
Making for quite the proper cause, Teri took to her Facebook page the previous day to share about her ambitions of raising $20,000 for the charity and a patient named Sophia, in particular.
Miss Hatcher wrote, "I received a letter today from the father of a young patient at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I will be swimming in the Malibu Triathlon this sunday. It's not too late to donate. So after checking the water forecast, I now know that when I dive into the 60 degree shoreline at 7am for a purely adrenaline based swim, they'll be one beautiful girl to reach stroke after stroke for, And that's Sophia. I so want to reach that 20 thousand dollar goal. Bless you."
Following her triathlon efforts, the 45-year-old actress told Radar Online, "Even though the water was cold, nothing can compare to what little Sophia is going through. I came out here today to help bring awareness of this disease. Events like this are one of many ways celebrities can bring awareness for different causes. Anything I can do to help, count me in."

Over the past month, there?s been a steady stream of reports that John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston have been seeing each other once again. Third time?s the charm? Eh. Who even knows what ?time? this really is? My suspicion is that they?ve been f-ck buddies for a while now, probably since their last breakup. Anyway, the rumors exist, and a few weeks ago when HuffPo reported them, John Mayer got his racist douche panties in a twist and sent out this ?clever? rant against HuffPo, while not really denying that Aniston was all up on his KKK dong. Of course, there was some evidence that Aniston was offended too - a ?friend? of Aniston?s gave an interview where there were claims that Mayer was/is a basket-case, a closet case and that he?s bad in bed.
Anyway, everything seemed to die down in Mayer-Aniston-ville for a few weeks, as Jennifer went a series of very public dates with people like Harry Morton (Lindsay Lohan?s ex), Josh Hopkins (Courteney Cox?s costar) and Chris Gartin (one of Aniston?s friend?s ex-husband). CB theorized - and I believe CB was correct - that Aniston was going on this series of public dates because she was trying to divert attention away from being back in DoucheTown with Mayer. Now Radar is giving us some more interesting evidence to back this up - apparently, Mayer and Aniston were together quite openly in Atlanta over the weekend:
Jennifer Aniston is in Atlanta shooting her next movie Wanderlust and RadarOnline.com has learned that she wandered right on over to Aaron’s Amphitheatre in nearby Lakewood, Georgia Wednesday night to catch John Mayer’s show.
Jen was in work-out clothes and had a baseball cap pulled low over her face when she visited with John backstage after his performance, a source tells RadarOnline.com. “She looked gorgeous and seemed to be really enjoying herself. She and John laughed a lot.”
Afterward, Jen and John and several people connected with his tour all went back to her hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, where he rented a private suite for an impromptu party.
John moved on to his next tour stop, Tampa, Florida, the next day. Jen is in Atlanta for several more weeks filming Wanderlust with Paul Rudd.
Before heading south, Aniston was spotted out on dates in L.A. with Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins (Jen is making an appearance on her friend Courteney Cox’s sitcom) and with the much younger restaurant owner Harry Morton, who once dated Lindsay Lohan.
But sightings of Aniston and Mayer — despite their best efforts to keep them on the down low — continue to surface. Mayer even took another website to task last month for reporting that he and Aniston has been seen together but he didn’t deny that they had been.
Could the third time be the charm for this pair? We’ll be watching.

Turning up in Toronto for promotional efforts, Emma Roberts made her way to the Focus Features premiere of "It's Kind of a Funny Story" on Saturday night (September 11).
Screened at Ryerson Theatre as part of the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival, the "Hotel for Dogs" darling joined co-stars Zach Galifianakis and Keir Gilchrist for the north of the border screening.
Once the movie wrapped up, Miss Roberts and her co-stars closed out the evening with an afterparty/press session at the nouveau riche Brassaii Restaurant and Lounge.
As for Emma's new movie, "It's Kind of a Funny Story" is about "a clinically depressed teenager getting a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward."

Ending the weekend with a little more fashionable fun, Leighton Meester showed up for the Derek Lam Spring 2011 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Stage in New York City on Sunday (September 12).
The Blair Waldorf babe sat alongside Editor-In-Chief of Harpers Bazaar, Glenda Bailey, with Rachel Zoe and Rashida Jones being among the other stars in attendance.
The fashionable outing comes as Miss Meester and her "Gossip Girl" co-stars gear up for their CW show's season premiere on Monday, September 13th at 9/8c.
Titled "Belles de Jour", a synopsis via the "Gossip Girl" website tells: "Blair (Leighton Meester) has spent a fabulous summer in Paris without realizing her former love, Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), has been shot. As much as Blair tries to distract herself from the pain Chuck caused her, his mysterious appearance in Paris with a beautiful new woman (guest star Clmence Posy) will force both of them to face what happened. Meanwhile, a newly single Serena (Blake Lively) has been enjoying a Parisian summer of love with boys, Blair and Balenciaga as she tries to avoid the inevitable decision about which of her two long-time beaus, Dan or Nate (Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford), she should return to. Back on the Upper East Side, Nate meets an intriguing girl, Juliet (guest star Katie Cassidy, "Melrose Place"), who helps him realize that his summer of sexual conquests with the help of Chuck's little black book was his way of avoiding his unresolved feelings for Serena. Opting to spend a little time overseas, Kim Kardashian made the long flight from New York City to London as she arrived at Heathrow Airport on Sunday (September 12).
Joined by her mother Kris Jenner, the E! reality star strutted through the terminal despite being listed as a guest on MTV's VMA lineup.
Nonetheless, Kim was clearly excited about the mother/daughter getaway, tweeting, "Off to London now! Can?t wait! It?s been a while since I?ve been? much needed trip with my mommy."
Once touched down, Miss Kardashian continued to tweet to her fans, writing, "Landed in London? watched Shrek on the flight and cried. Is that weird? Was so happy when Fiona Shrek broke the curse!"

A few weeks ago, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth officially broke up. Liam?s rep confirmed as much to Gossip Cop, and there were a few days in which Liam?s ?side? and Miley?s ?side? vied to tell their breakup story to the press - either Miley dumped Liam over fears (or knowledge) of Liam?s cheating, or Liam dumped Miley because she?s crazy and he was tired of being with such a high-profile girl. Since their split, Miley has been living it up, looking mysteriously puffy, waxy and Botoxy in NYC, then going clubbing in Paris. Meanwhile, Liam seems to be kind of quiet, although there were some paparazzi photos of him several days ago where it looked like Liam pap?d himself.
Anyway, Miley and Liam were spotted out together yesterday, Saturday, September 11th. Love amongst the ruins? Eh. Fame Pictures notes that Miley and Liam seemed ?on again? - but I?m really hoping that this is just The Last Conversation, you know? Spending the night on the red carpet, Emma Stone and Penn Badgley were side-by-side at Isabel Bader Theatre in Toronto, Canada on Saturday evening (September 11).
The "Rocker" chick and her "Gossip Girl" actor co-star were in town for the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of their new movie "Easy A" - which hits theaters on Friday, September 17th.
Talking about the movie, Miss Stone recently spoke with the Orlando Sentinel about being drawn to her character in the Will Gluck directed comedy flick.
Crediting her father's influence, Emma said, ?My dad was always hipper than me, which is why he showed me all those old John Hughes movies. I?ve been watching and memorizing those films since childhood.?
With numerous John Hughes films being paid homage in "Easy A", Emma continues, ?Ferris Bueller? was my favorite. My character in 'Easy A' loved it just for the big dance number, but I think the whole thing is brilliant. Cameron, Ferris? [downtrodden] friend, is just one of the most brilliant characters ever put on screen. That?s genius writing.?
