As everyone anticipates the new “Sex and the City” sequel, Sarah Jessica Parker may not be as thrilled.
The star of the movie wishes that she had thought more into the sequel before going into filming after the arrival of her 4 month-year-old twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha.
While chatting during an interview with Glamour, she explained, “It’s been amazing but complicated because of my current work schedule, which I have enormous regrets about. One would prefer to be held 24 hours a day, and the other is already suffering from type A issues.”
But even with the complications, the 44 year-old isn’t trying to complain and understands the working life while being a mommy, even admitting that she didn’t know it would be this hard of work. “Nothing can really describe what it’s like to have two new little girls,” she says. “It’s been very different than when James arrived, since our family expanded in an untraditional way. We didn’t plan on having two, but were doubly blessed, and it’s been just wonderful.”
As far as the new upcoming movie, Parker says the story brings humor and is “breaking the rules of romantic comedy.”

Getting in touch with her spiritual side, Eva Longoria says a higher force gave her the “strength” to become the actress she is today.
The “Desperate Housewives” hottie has always had a strong faith, telling, “Literally one day I said, ‘I’m going to be an actress.’ I never put a thought to it. I never said, ‘When I graduate from college, I want to be an actress.’ That thought never occurred to me.”
The wife of Tony Parker also explained how she has always felt amazing guidance that was a force telling her to go to Los Angeles, and she couldn’t fight it anymore.
Paying her way through college with beauty pageants that won her free books and tuition, she finally won a trip to Hollywood for a modeling competition. I graduated college and I thought, ‘Oh, I’ll do that trip now before I do my masters.’ I was already enrolled and packed up, ready to get my masters, and I came to Los Angeles and I never left.”

Penelope Cruz is the cover girl for the January issue of Interview Magazine. I?m not sure what to think of these pictures. On one hand, I do find them interesting and striking. On the other, I think Penelope is a beautiful woman who usually photographs very well, so you really have to try to make her look this bad. She doesn?t even look like herself - I even had to backtrack to make sure all of the photos were of Pene. They are. Weird, huh?
Anyway, Pene is promoting Nine and Broken Embraces, and her Nine costar Marion Cotillard does the interview. Now? here?s the thing. When one actor interviews another actor, it can get weird. And not a good weird, either. It?s a ?oh God I wish they would get out of each other?s asses? weird. Which is what we?ve got here. Plus, I think Marion is just a strange person. She seems off in her own little world. Her first question to Pene is ?Imagine that you meet some extraterrestrials. How would you describe humankind to them?? COTILLARD: How do you choose your movies now? Is it stories? Characters? Directors? What?s persuading you?
CRUZ: I try to look at the whole thing and say yes to the projects that I cannot stop thinking about. If I read a script and the subject stays with me?then that?s when I want to go to work. Before, I was very addicted to being on set, and I was doing three or four movies a year for many years. Now, fortunately, I can go to work only when I am passionate about a project, and the rest of the time, I can live my life. I?m not interested in doing movies just as a marathon. When I go to work now, I have much more to give. But the other way, you get empty.
COTILLARD: I have a question that might be four questions in one. What inspires you?as an actress and as a woman? Because I guess those are sometimes different inspirations.
CRUZ: Yes, yes. As an actress, I really love people like Anna Magnani and Debra Winger. I also think there is nobody better than Meryl Streep. I watch her movies over and over again?I saw Silkwood [1983] again a couple of weeks ago, and it made me just want to kiss her feet. We only know each other from seeing each other at awards ceremonies or those kinds of events, but whenever I see her, I always go up to her and start kissing her. I don?t even say anything?I just kiss her. She must think I?m some crazy person. [both laugh] And then, from the women in my life, I have to say that I have a very special relationship with my mother. She had me when she was 21, so she was very young. I?ve always been able to talk to her about everything. Since I was a little girl, nothing was taboo in my house. She?s been the person who I?ve looked to for inspiration for many of the characters that Pedro writes because she?s really a force of nature. She?s very strong.
CRUZ: I remember when we were working on Nine with Sophia [Loren]. We drove her crazy asking questions?at least I drove her crazy asking her every day about [Vittorio] De Sica and Fellini and [Marcello] Mastroianni and all of the amazing people who she?s had the opportunity to work with. She is so incredible, this woman.
COTILLARD: Yeah. She?s the perfect mix between la mama and the movie star.
CRUZ: It?s true. She looks like a goddess. But she was always worried to see if we were eating enough. I was eating like a pig during that movie because I wanted to gain a few kilos. I was eating nonstop. But it was never enough for Sophia. She would say, ?You?re not eating enough, and then you?re doing all this exercise! And I just saw Marion, and she left the table. That one eats less than you do?nothing!? [both laugh]
COTILLARD: How do you prepare? I know that for Nine, you watched a lot of Italian movies.
CRUZ: Yes, I watched a lot of Italian movies and also movies with Italian actors working in English, because I had to do an Italian accent. I?ve played an Italian before, but in that film I was speaking Italian, so this was the first time doing English with an Italian accent. I also watched a lot of musicals. And then for my character, Carla, one of my little secrets is that she made me think about the Pink Panther?for some reason, that?s the image I was getting.
COTILLARD: That was your inspiration for Carla?
CRUZ: It was one of them. Because I think she?s a little bit goofy?not that she tries to be funny, but something is a little bit off about her. And at the same time, I wanted to have an image for the musical number. The musical number had to be sexy, and thinking about the Pink Panther would help me get into the mood. But I never told that to anybody! When I was climbing the ropes to the ceiling, all I could think about was the Pink Panther.

Penelope also talks about how her favorite places in the world are ?anyplace in the Caribbean? and Madrid. Throughout the interview, you can tell Marion and Penelope are now serious girlfriends, which is sweet. I imagine them gossiping on the phone constantly, with Pene gushing about Javier Bardem and Marion talking about aliens.

Back in late October, the National Enquirer ran an epic tale of infidelity. And no, this one did not involve Tiger Woods. This one was Josh Duhamel and a $10 stripper in Georgia. It was a really gross tale of seducation, pr0n and sketchiness. In the aftermath of that report, Fergie seemed to believe whatever Josh told her about whatever happened, and she stuck by him. I was a little disappointed in that - I expected Fergie to raise some hell or something. But she decided to stay and keep things private, and she even admitted that she has a therapist, so I kind of thought she was working through her stuff. But now the Enquirer is reporting that Fergie is really depressed, and that she?s been drowning her sorrows, big time.
Black Eyed Peas sweetie Fergie boo-hoos on Kate Hudson’s shoulder about cheating hubby Josh and then drinks the night away! Fergie shared drinks with Kate Hudson and cried on her shoulder over her husband Josh Duhamel’s cheating - and then had to be helped to her car!
The two lovelies - co-stars in the upcoming musical Nine - arrived together at the Hollywood hotspot Katsuya after both appeared at the American Music Awards on Nov. 22, The ENQUIRER has learned.
Transformers star Josh was filming out of town, but Kate’s boyfriend, New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez, joined them later, according to sources.
“Fergie definitely was drowning her sorrows that night. She poured out her heart to Kate over how hurt she was over Josh’s affair,” an eyewitness told The ENQUIRER. “Kate listened patiently and let Fergie vent. Later she told Alex, ‘I just feel so bad for the poor thing. She’s been through so much.’”
The ENQUIRER revealed in our Nov. 9 issue that Georgia stripper Nicole Forrester carried on a sizzling sexual tryst with Duhamel, 37, when he filmed in Atlanta.
As The ENQUIRER reported, Fergie has told friends that the couple - who have been wed less than a year - agreed to move past the cheating scandal because they still love each other and want to try for a baby.
“But that’s easier said than done. Fergie is clearly struggling to forgive Josh,” added the source. “And each time Alex and Kate kissed or even touched, Fergie took another sip of her drink. By the end of the night, she needed her bodyguard to help walk her out to the SUV.”
Another source added: “After Fergie was helped out to the SUV, Alex and Kate joined her. She’s definitely an emotional wreck right now.”

Over the past few months, I?ve grown to like Fergie more and more, but I?m still willing to admit that my new girl crush has some issues. First of all, Fergie is a recovering addict. And not only has she battled drug addictions, she?s done so while still keeping alcohol in her life. I don?t like that. Second of all, a band-aid baby is a really horrible idea, especially when she (or any woman) is still working through not only the cheating stuff, but the addiction stuff as well. It will not work. Fergie?s not listening to me, is she? Oh well? maybe Kate Hudson will give her some good advice.

Jezebel has this week’s tabloid roundup, and Lindsay Lohan is all over the place as usual. I tend to believe US Weekly more than the other celebrity rags, as they have a little more integrity and don’t tend to make up stories. (They also broke the cheating scandals with the Gosselins and LeAnn Rimes this year.) Sadly, they’re reporting that Lohan was making out with Jessica Alba’s husband, Cash Warren, at a club a couple of weeks ago. There’s a specific date and everything, which makes the report seem kind of real. If it’s true, I feel bad for Alba even though she’s not my favorite actress. There’s regular cheating and then there’s your husband making out in public with one of Hollywood’s skankiest, drug-addicted, thieving narcissists. Meanwhile, In Touch is reporting that Lohan is hooking up on the down low with Kevin Connolly. These two reports are not mutually exclusive, and I can understand why Connolly would want to keep it a secret if he’s sleeping with Lohan. I could also see Lindsay getting bored and making out at a bar with whoever happens to be nearby and interested.
US Weekly: “No celeb goes to Villa in West Hollywood on Thursday nights anymore.” But on November 19, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Alba’s husband Cash Warren both showed up with their friends and sat together, and after about 30 minutes, started making out “lip on tongue.” “It was raw,” says an eyewitness. “They were not shy.” Lindsay spoke to Us and says she and Cash are friends who are collaborating on a potential TV show. “This is so absurd. He is married. I wouldn’t dare kiss him.”
InTouch: Lindsay Lohan is having a “secret romance” with Entourage star Kevin Connolly. They’ve known each other for years but hooked up at a party at Leonardo DiCaprio’s house in November and are “sneaking around.”

How do you explain making out with Lindsay Lohan at a club? Cash might either deny it or go for the guilty approach and try to minimize it. “I was drunk. I’m so sorry. It was just a onetime thing and didn’t go any further.” How out of it, stupid, and absolutely uncommitted to your marriage do you have to be to make out with a tabloid target celebrity at a popular nightclub? It’s like Cash wants out and is trying to send his wife a passive aggressive message. Maybe he’s still pissed that his wife made him dress like a dorky kids’ educational cartoon character for Halloween.

Wow? Angelina Jolie has given a rare interview where she?s not promoting a film or a cause. Now, this is from OK! Magazine, and they?re not as legitimate as say, People Magazine, but I do think this interview is for real. Meaning that someone on OK!?s staff spoke to Angelina herself (not one of the gerbils) either in person, on the phone, or via e-mail or something.
The interview is short, and it?s basically just Angelina defending herself and her relationship with Brad. My guess is this is another piece of Brangelina?s media strategy to combat the Ian Halperin crap, like posing for photos after having dinner with Elisabetta ?Eminem Tattoo? Canalis and George Clooney.
Trouble in Jolie-Pitt land? No chance, according to Angelina Jolie in an interview featured in the new issue of OK!, Angie says in Brad Pitt ? superdad to Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox ? she?s found ?the right person.?

CB says she ?kind of feels bad for her. She is really over the top in her interviews about Brad and I think she genuinely is crazy about him. I bet they do fight, but all married people do.? I think one of the biggest conspiracies about Brad and Angelina is that she?s somehow in control of everything. I don?t buy that. I think she adores Brad and looks at him as the protective partner/father she?s always wanted, and he?s the one making a lot of their family decisions. And that pisses me off - because if Brad really has as much control as I think he has in their relationship, then he should be out there defending Angelina and their relationship much more. Britney looks pretty, doesn?t she? And the boys look happy and healthy too. Of course, the additional Elle photos reveal Britney?s busted weave, but no matter. If her jacked weave is all we have to worry about, Britney is doing great. Thus far, Elle hasn?t released anything from an interview, but the blurb they have online reads like a press release written by Britney?s ?team?.
A decade after her titillating debut in pigtails and a plaid Catholic school skirt, we find ourselves cheering on Britney Spears once again. There have been, of course, speed bumps in recent years?a divorce, feuds with family, a very public breakdown?but the past 12 months have witnessed a cautious yet emphatic comeback.
With Circus, her triumphant 2008 album and subsequent world tour, Britney reasserted herself as a pop music ringleader, firmly in control of the spectacle. The album is the star?s fifth to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200?making her the youngest woman to accomplish that feat. And the nearly yearlong tour, with its elaborate $50 million extravaganza featuring DSquared2 costumes (nine outfit changes a night, including Britney as a trapeze artist, a magician?s assistant, and, somewhat perplexingly, a policewoman), was among the highestgrossing concert tours in the United States last year, rivaling those of U2 and Bruce Springsteen.
With another greatest-hits record freshly arrived (and a new single, ?3,? which raced up the Billboard chart), we see flashes of vintage Brit, the one we love?blond, happy, and back on top.
This is no small turnabout. Rare is the artist who can pirouette from teen idolhood to a discerning adult audience; not even Madonna, Britney?s idol, had to do that. But Britney was a teen pop princess who knew how to build an image (the virginal temptress) and sell it through videos (her 1999 breakout ??Baby One More Time?) that nimbly walked the line between sweetness and provocation.
Now, at 28, her sound is grittier (as in the throbby 2008 hit ?Womanizer?) and her lyrics reveal a confident sexuality. Britney may have sung ?I?m not that innocent? on her 2000 single ?Oops!?I Did It Again,? but today, there?s no argument, with frank lyrics such as those on ?3?: ?Merrier the more/ Triple fun that way/ Twister on the floor.? The new track represents Spears? rekindled partnership with the reclusive Swedish producer Max Martin (Katy Perry?s ?I Kissed a Girl?; Kelly Clarkson?s ?Since U Been Gone?), who wrote ??Baby One More Time? but hadn?t worked with the singer in more than seven years.

Yes, yesterday was Britney?s 28th birthday. She celebrated in a very low-key fashion, going shopping, being serenaded to by the paparazzi and being sober. Good for her. Happy birthday, Brit, and congratulations. Hopefully, Brit stays in a sobriety and zero-insanity holding pattern for many years to come. Now we only need to get her to fix the damn weave!

Tobey Maguire has a new interview in Parade, and he just seems like such a serious, grown up guy. He touches on a lot of issues that parents are familiar with, like balancing home and family life, trying to prioritize your time, and just being present for your children. The part that made me laugh is where he admits that he often gets mistaken for other actors, like Jake Gyllenhaal and Elijah Wood, and that he’ll just say “thank you” and sign the other person’s name. Maguire also mused about the responsibilities that come with fame and the fact that he doesn’t want to be a celebrity. Maybe that’s why he’s often mistaken for other actors - he’s been in some blockbusters but he’s in no way overexposed or even covered much in the celebrity press.
Re-editing his own life.
“It’s just all a time issue. Recently, I’ve been putting my life down on paper, listing what I spend my time doing because I’m trying to edit some things out in order to make more time for the things that are important to me. It’s kind of a process of self-reflection on how I’m living and spending time with my wife and children, which is a number one priority. But, I love my work as well, so that’s very important too.”
Searching for quality time.
“A lot of times I’ll work out of home. But, it can get in the way of being a dad. The kids pop in and I’m in the middle of things so I stop, but I’m not as present as I want to be. Now, I’m thinking I’ve got to put everything away, the computers, phones, BlackBerrys, people bothering you about whatever, and just be like, ‘OK, I’m just a daddy right now. I’m going to eat breakfast with my children, I’m going to play with blocks or toys whatever and just totally be with them.’”
Analyzing his success.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to be a pretty successful person, but I’ve realized that it doesn’t bring fulfillment. Success, of course, has a lot of fun stuff about it, but ultimately, if you’re the kind of person who lives in desire and constantly wants more, you’ll never be satisfied. So I’ve had a certain amount of success and I’m reaching for more and I have ambition, but I go, ‘Wait a second, this doesn’t make me happy, this isn’t really what fulfillment is.’”
Keeping his celebrity in perspective.
“I think I have about the right idea of how cool I am. I’m not trying to be a celebrity. Some people who get famous make bad choices — it depends on what you want out of life and who you want to be as a person. I like feeling good about myself as a human being, so if I make a choice that doesn’t support that, I stop pretty quickly. It’s really self-correcting.”
Getting older, but maybe not wiser.
“I’m always amazed at how, like when I was a kid, I definitely thought I was fairly intelligent about things and then you get a few years out and you look back and I’m always amazed at how little I knew. You go, ‘Wow, I had no clue.’ Now, it’s finally caught up to me, the point where I realize I just don’t know much at all, period.”
He was not in Brokeback Mountain.
“I’ve been mistaken for so many different actors, it’s just wild. I’ve gotten Jake Gyllenhaal a few times like, ‘Loved you in Brokeback Mountain.’ I’ve had that. I can’t remember all of them, but Wes Bentley, tons of times, and Elijah Wood. When people ask me for my autograph and say, ‘Oh, you were so great in such and such,’ which I wasn’t in, then I usually just sign the other actor’s name and say, ‘Thank you very much.’”

Tobey can be a real sourpuss with fans and with paparazzi, but he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I did a quick review of our archives on him as I remembered that he had a rough childhood but I couldn’t recall the details. I found this older interview with Parade he did in 2007 in which he talked about the fact that his parents split when he was three and that he was shuffled around to different family members. He said “I realized at a young age that I was responsible for myself… I had plenty of difficult, emotional and scary times as a kid, but I don?t dwell on it.” Tobey went on to explain that his difficult upbring influenced his decision to do well in life “Growing up the way I did, I had a very serious ambition to make some money, to have some security and comfort in my life.”
Tobey is promoting Brothers, out tomorrow in the US and also starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman. There were some stories of minor diva antics on set between Jake and Tobey, particularly the two insisting on having their own personal makeup artists while the studio wanted to save money by having them share. I bet they got along fine.
Spiderman 4 is coming out in 2011, and may have been slightly delayed by Maguire’s insistence on having nights and mornings off to play with his kids. He has daughter Ruby Sweetheart, 3, and son Otis Tobias, 7 months, with wife Jennifer Meyer.

It's been a whirlwind year for Taylor Swift. The country crossover sensation has won just about every music award an artist can possibly win, including CMA awards, a couple of CMT awards, American Music Awards and a VMA (when she was famously interrupted onstage by Kanye West). And now the 19-year-old is up for eight Grammy Awards.
Despite receiving accolade after accolade and selling millions of records, even she can't believe she's up for all those statues. "I started freaking out and jumping up and down," she told The Associated Press. "I honestly never would have predicted this, eight nominations. I'm ecstatic and blown away and so, so thankful."

Getting a bit of a breather from her non-stop filming duties, Cameron Diaz was spotted enjoying an ice cream cone in Seville, Spain on Wednesday afternoon (December 2).
The “Shrek” sweetheart dutifully licked away at her tasty treat, then getting back to work on her latest film “Knight and Day,” co-starring Tom Cruise.
Of watching Tom pull of his stunt duties, Diaz recently shared, “Tom is a professional stuntman. If he wasn’t Tom Cruise the movie star, he would be the best stuntman in the business. He’s phenomenal. What he does is, like, crazy.”
The action packed film “Knight and Day” hits theaters July 2, 2010.

Ready to spend more time in the world of movies, Blake Lively was ready to appear with Julianna Moore, Robin Wright, and Maria Bello in “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.”
But a part that involved the Gossip Girl star in underwear made her rethink if this was right for her career.
The 22-year-old said, “It was an odd thing to do but really funny. There was a point when I was crawling on all fours and Julianne was like ‘purr for me’ and I thought ‘what am I doing with my life? I’ve finally got the most respectable job of my career yet I’m being leashed up and asked to purr. But Julianne is such a wonderful, kind and happy person so that made it easy to feel safe crawling around leashed up.”
And one thing Lively loves to do is keep busy, even with friends encouraging her to take a break. “I always have to keep myself really really busy and I can’t stop. All my friends are like ‘oh you don’t need to do something right now, just take a day for yourself. Take a couple of minutes to sit down; you don’t have to do all that.’ My biggest problem is I fill my life with too much business that I don’t need to worry myself with.”
But it’s in the actresses’ nature, growing up with four other siblings, although she doesn’t expect any children of her own anytime in the future soon. “Seeing my parents have their hands full, it was in my nature to want to make the people around me happy.”

The hottest couple in Hollywood is still going strong, according to the beautiful Angelina Jolie while doing an interview with OK! magazine.
Jolie said that Brad is an amazing father to their children and that she found “the right person.”
The actress gushed about Pitt, telling of the wonderful person he is and great actor. And he isn’t all serious and businesslike all the time. “He’s extremely down-to-earth, goofy and funny. People know very little about him, and when it comes to where his morals are, how he is with people, what he cares about and what he’s learned about, he is very aware.”
But being the most watched couple must be hard to find time together. The former Mr and Mrs. Smith star says they just do it and work on it. “I met the right person and I don’t’ like being without him,” she says.
Meanwhile, she’s juggling being a mother and a famous actress, but she knows what is most important to her. “I help where I can. I raise my kids with a lot of love and make sure they grow into the individuals they were born to be.”

Gearing up for the premiere of “Nine,” Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted arriving at London’s Heathrow International Airport today (December 3).
The “Moulin Rouge” actress and her “Days Go By” singer hubby looked happy to be in the UK as they made their way through the terminal.
As for the upcoming holiday season, Nicole and Keith have plans to spend time with family in Australia where Keith will be touring.
Urban told press, “We’ll be able to spend it with all of our extended family on Nic’s side and my side, so we’re really looking forward to that. My sister-in-law on Nic’s side has four children and my brother has two, so there’ll be lots of kids running around.”

I find this news very strange. Apparently, Tom Brady knows the sex of the baby he and Gisele are expecting (any day now), while Gisele has no idea. Now, I?m not an idiot. I get that doctors can predict the sex early, and that every couple chooses whether or not they?ll find out, but I find it odd that Tom would want to know while Gisele wouldn?t. Isn?t that the kind of thing that a couple would want to either know or not know together? How does that even work? Does Tom drop hints that they should be buying blue stuff and Gisele pretends she didn?t hear it?
Tom Brady clearly doesn’t like surprises!
The Patriots quarterback, 32, found out the gender of his baby — due in December — even though wife Gisele Bundchen is waiting.
“I’m really the only one that knows at this point,” he told Boston’s WEEI Sports Radio on Wednesday. “My dad asked me. I haven’t told him. [Gisele] doesn’t know. It’s a pretty good feeling knowing something that no one else knows.”
Brady — who is already father to son John, 2, with ex Bridget Moynahan — said Bundchen didn’t have a problem with his request to find out in advance.
“She’s a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out and she didn’t, so she said, ‘Go ahead,’” he said. “It will be a surprise for her.”
His trick to keeping the secret?
“I always mix it,” he said of his use of boy and girl pronouns. “I don’t think I’ve ever slipped. I’m very conscious when I’m saying it.”

I?m not a mother, I?ve never been pregnant, but I?m sure I?d like to know if and when it happens for me. I?m of the opinion that the knowing the sex of the baby is one of the few times you can actually have some knowledge about parenting, and you can prepare yourself. Plus, I dislike gender-neutral nurseries. There?s only so much you can do with beige.

I used to really like Natalie Portman. I saw her as this smart Yale graduate with a commitment to activism and vegetarianism. Then she wrote that obnoxious piece for the Huffington Post that arguably - arguably - compared eating meat to rape. Maybe she didn’t mean it that way, but that’s how it read to a lot of people. She could have easily issued a clarification or a follow-up statement explaining that she was misinterpreted, but she never did.
Portman also signed the petition calling for Roman Polanski’s release. After that, I kind of soured on her and she became a well-intentioned holier-than-thou character to me. If she continues to be noncontroversial for a while or does something particularly nice I might change my mind.
Portman is doing a lot of publicity for her film Brothers, which is out this Friday. It’s about a woman whose husband (Tobey Maguire) goes away to the war in Iraq and is reported killed in action. She falls into the arms of his brother (Jake Gyllenhaal) and then her husband miraculously returns, only to throw her whole world askew. It looks like a bummer, frankly, and I don’t think it will do that well at the box office. Brothers is probably gunning for awards, though, and I bet Maguire and Gyllenhaal turn in very solid performances that could earn nominations. As for Portman, she just doesn’t do it for me, but many people think she’s a fabulous actress so we’ll see.
In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, only part of which is available online, Portman reminds us that she’s not a complete goody-goody by saying that she did smoke pot, but that she was in her 20s. She didn’t drink until she was in college, though:
Portman says she was “definitely working at a young age, but there’s a whole growth in that.” She got to spend three months in France when she was 11, shooting The Professional, and on her days off her mother would take her to Monet’s house in Giverny and encourage her to come home and paint a version of what she’d seen. When she traveled to Japan for the premiere of The Professional, her parents insisted on a week off to explore the country. Portman shrugs: “OK, so I didn’t really go to high school parties,” she says, “and yeah, I didn’t touch pot till I was in my 20s. I didn’t get flat-out drunk until I went to college. But I think that’s a good thing in many ways.”

Ok Natalie, we get it. You did smoke pot and drink but you waited so it’s not a big deal. This is just like the story that you cut yourself, but it’s ok because you only did it once. It’s like you’re just like us, but better.
Portman also has an interview in Parade, and she gives at least one interesting anecdote about how strict security is on set in the digital age. She also says she’d like to have kids but that she can’t plan for it:
A role she’s been waiting for.
“It was such a fantastic opportunity because so many parts written for females my age are just, like, the cute, girlish love interest. To get to play a real woman who’s really strong and a good mother was really a great opportunity. It was not that challenging to be mother-ish because I have the most maternal mom in the world. So I’ve had a role model for my entire life.”
Maybe she’s getting closer to a family of her own.
“I feel like I’m coming into my womanhood, and I’m less afraid or maybe I’m just getting old. I think about having kids, but I think you can’t plan for that sort of thing. It’s not like you can work at it.”
But she wouldn’t send her kids to war.
“I could not do it myself. But, I also think that in the world we live in, in certain countries, you can’t not have an army. Obviously, I’m referring specifically to Israel. I think if Israel didn’t have an army, it wouldn’t exist. That’s a hypothesis I really wouldn’t want to test, like the Israelis going, ‘OK, let’s just try it out and not have an army and see what happens.’”
Keeping her role in Thor, the next Marvel comics blockbuster, under wraps.
“I think everyone has gotten more secretive just because of the preponderance of technology that can scam just about anything. It’s like you don’t get a script anymore that doesn’t have watermarks that would identify you if you ever tried to leak anything. The Thor script is hard to read because it’s on some weird colored paper and they have your name in huge letters across every page. And any time you get a phone call from Marvel, it doesn’t come up as a normal number, it’s like a five digit code. I’ve never seen that before. I’ve had phone calls from people in the government and they don’t have that. Marvel’s like some like crazy underground world.”

At least we don’t hear a lot about Portman when she’s not promoting something. I know technically I should admire her because she seems relatively normal, smart and scandal-free, but I don’t have strong feelings either way. A commenter on the Huffington Post compared her to Anne Hathaway because they both have this kind of superior pseudo-intellectual way about them. Hathaway definitely annoys me, but Portman only sort-of grates on my nerves, like a sluggish fly you open the window for hoping it will find its way out on its own.

The real question is, ?Will the Grammys even let Kanye West in?? The answer: probably. Because it will be good television. Because the Grammy nominations just came out, and it?s looking like it?s going to be another head-to-head match-up between Beyonce and Taylor Swift. The two ladies lead in Grammy nomination this year, with Taylor receiving 8 noms to Beyonce?s 10 noms, and the ladies are even competing with each other for song of the year, record of the year and album of the year. Robinson and Starr had the honor of naming those in the running for Record of the Year and Album of the Year. For Record: Beyonc’s “Halo,”, Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling,” Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody,” Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” and Swift’s “You Belong with Me.”
“Don’t worry, Taylor,” advised Robinson. “Kanye West is not here.”
Album of the Year nominees are Beyonc’s I Am Sasha Fierce, the Black Eyed Peas’ The End, the Dave Matthews Band’s Big Whiskey and Swift’s Fearless.
The hour-long nominations concert, broadcast on CBS, also featured a tribute to the late Michael Jackson, performed by Maxwell, as well as the debut of Nick Jonas & the Administration, who were introduced by Nick’s brothers, Kevin and Joe.
The concert emcee was LL Cool J, whose opening routine contained the lyrical phrase, “No need to adjust your TV/It’s not Hugh Jackman/It’s a black man.”

Taylor already gave a statement to the Associated Press/People Magazine: “I started freaking out and jumping up and down. I honestly never would have predicted this, eight nominations ? I’m ecstatic, and blown away and so, so thankful. To be recognized by the Grammys is the ultimate honor, and all I know is that when I write about this in my journal tonight it will be in all capital letters and underlined four times, and there will be lots of exclamation points in this entry because I never imagined I’d get to write this kind of journal entry. The thought of that absolutely is something that you daydream about. I’m just gonna call a bunch of people and tell them that I love them.” Aw? cute. I?m let you finish! I know some people are going to piss all over this girl no matter what she does - and seriously, whenever something good happens for her, someone tries to steal her thunder - but I love her. The “Simple Life” starlet and her handsome boyfriend have been busy in the beautiful Canadian city, having taken an helicopter tour and a dog sled ride.
They’ve also tried their luck at snowboarding and enjoyed a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride during their romantic getaway.
Miss Hilton and Mr. Reinhardt hit up the Garibaldi Bar & Grill to refuel before heading back out on more winter wonderland adventures.

Gearing up for yet another flight out of town, Rihanna was spotted making her way through LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (December 2).
The Barbadian beauty strolled through the departures terminal, receiving no special star treatment - as she was body searched by a security staffer before being allowed to continue along on her way.
The sighting comes amidst rumors that Rihanna’s ex, Chris Brown, dishes explicit details of their romance in his upcoming album’s song, Famous Girl.
While Brown has yet to confirm the lyrics are, indeed, about his ex, sample lyrics seem to indicate just that - with the chorus reading, “Since I thought I found my woman/ There were other guys who thought the same thing about it/ Like damn, you let me down, down, down/ ‘Cause you’re famous, girl, for breaking hearts.”

Keeping busy now that she’s back on the west coast, Lindsay Lohan was spotted fitting in an evening retail romp in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 2).
Showing off her makeupless good looks, the “Mean Girls” star headed over to Maxfield clothing store with a male friend - carrying a can of Sunkist pop, her phone and a lighter as she readied for the retail session.
The outing comes just as LiLo’s alleged burglars took to the courtroom, with the four suspects pleading not guilty to a series of break-ins.
Having allegedly taken $3m worth of property, including jewelry and clothes, from multiple celebrity homes, the suspects could face up to six years in prison if convicted.
