Ever since Mischa Barton got out of the psyche ward, she’s never stopped smiling. Not even when wearing a certified crazy outfit like this at a party in NYC last night. This is what those friendly ladies wear on that street corner next to your house.
The fact that she has a perma-grin makes this all the more disturbing. Like she’s planning something and wants to make sure we don’t catch on by pretending everything is fine.
Serial killers have the exact same expression just after they invite you into their house lined with plastic and just before they take out the axe hidden behind their back.

Joined by co-star Justin Long, the former “Married with Children” star mingled with on-set workers as she prepared for the day’s shoot in Manhattan.
Also starring the lovely Drew Barrymore, the Nanette Burstein directed flick is due out in theaters in October 2010.
According to IMDB, the film is described as “a look at the trials and tribulations of a long-distance relationship.”

What a difference a half a year makes: the last time “Ghost Whisperer” star Jennifer Love Hewitt was photographed vacationing with a boyfriend, it was known as “Bikini-gate.” Bloggers and stylistas the world over felt the need to “weigh in” on the star’s appearance. Flash forward to August 2009, and Jennifer has not only ditched those much-disputed extra pounds, but she’s also got a totally new boyfriend, in the form of her TV co-star Jamie Kennedy. The couple were photographed in Hawaii, and Jennifer was wearing a faintly familiar black bikini while playing tennis. Yes, you read that right.
Two years after photos surfaced of her looking fuller-figured in a bikini, Jennifer Love Hewitt is showing off her bod again.
The actress, 30, was photographed Saturday vacationing with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy in Hawaii. She also was spotted shooting hoops in her bikini and later relaxing on the beach.
Hewitt has come a long way since the flap over her weight. Last year, she posed on the cover of Us Weekly to reveal how she shed 18 pounds after just two weeks.
She said the hoopla over her body made her feel “a little embarrassed. It made me a little sad. It hurt my feelings.”
Earlier this year, she rose to Jessica Simpson’s defense after bloggers bashed her for her new curves.
“It gets silly,” Hewitt told Us. “We’re all supposed to look how we’re supposed to look. We’re made to be different people.
“Not everybody can be super tall and super skinny,” she added. “You have to look inside yourself and find your own confidence. It wavers from day to day, but that’s human nature.”

I’m trying to remember the last time I wore a bikini. It was circa 1995 - just before the birth of my first child. Coincidence? I think not. But even back then, in my super-skinny days, you would not catch me attempting to play tennis in a bikini. The words “wardrobe malfunction” come to mind. Also, is it just me, or does playing tennis in a bikini and heels seem to be a cry for attention? You be the judge.

In fact, Avril’s been photographed partying her ass off in the French Riviera with none other than Paris Hilton’s and Mischa Barton’s ex-boyfriend, Brandon “Greasy Bear” Davis, oil heir and douchebag extraordinaire. The new photographs have kick-started another round of rumors about the stability of Avril and Deryk’s marriage.
While Derek Whibley was performing onstage with his band, Sum 41, his wife, Avril Lavigne, was spotted partying on the French Riviera with oil heir Brandon Davis, sparking rumors that the pair are getting closer by the day. Avril hit the scene in St. Tropez a few days after Brandon flew in on July 16.
“Brandon and Avril hang out together all of the time, but it’s unclear if Deryck is award of it,” a pal reveals. “Brandon and Avril are always careful not to be photographed together.”
Although a rep for Avril says that she and Brandon just happened to be at the same yacht party and Brandon is “just a friend,” an insider questions whether it’s really a coincidence that they were both here at the same time. In recent months, Avril and Brandon, 30, were spotted all over LA, including West Hollywood bar El Carmen, Pace restaurant, and partying at hotspot MyHouse.
But the French getaway definitely appeared to lift her spirits. Just days before, Avril, 24 and Deryck, 29, were having a more low-key time at Madeo in LA together. “She looked miserable when she was leaving,” says a witness.

I don’t know if I believe that Avril is getting romantic with Brandon Davis. First of all, Avril pretty much looks miserable all the time, except for when she is drunk off her ass. Oil heir or no, it would definitely be a downgrade on the celeb ladder to trade her rock star hubby in for Paris and Mischa’s sloppy seconds. I think she is just looking for someone as rich and connected as she is to drink and party with while her husband’s away. And maybe a drunken roll in the hey every once in a while - if she’s willing to risk exposure to the herp! I do wonder when she finds time to do all that charity work she is always talking about in between the shots and yacht parties, don’t you?

It’s no secret that Naomi Campbell has quite a temper, and now it sounds like she could have landed herself in more legal drama after a recent trip to Italy.
According to a report, Miss Campbell is being accused of hitting Gaetano Di Giovani, a photographer, with her handbag and scratching her eye.
Di Giovanni told press, “I had just started to photograph her. First she hit me with her bag, screaming at me in English. Then she tried to slap me but I managed to avoid her — but her nails still got my eye. For a few seconds I could not see a thing. I could hear her bodyguards and her boyfriend trying to drag her away.”
She continued, “The hospital doctor said that I would need a few days to recover and have to go to an eye specialist. I am thinking about taking Miss Campbell to court.”

The “War, Inc.” actress looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for her early morning call time, sporting a dark violet top with a tan fedora, black leggings, and gladiator sandals.
On the CW show, Hilary will be playing a movie star who enrolls for classes at New York University in hopes of getting a typical college girl experience.
During the course of her multi-episode arc, Duff’s character reportedly takes a strong liking to Penn Badgley’s character Dan. Cue the drama!

Dude, how many times is Naomi Campbell going to go postal on random people? It seems like every few months Naomi goes completely crazy and beats the hell out of someone with whatever is around. For her assistant, Naomi actually beat the woman with a bejeweled phone. I believe that fight was over a pair of jeans. Once, Naomi went totally crazy on a yacht, and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage - all because she didn?t care for the wine and appetizers. Then, last year, Naomi had a massive temper tantrum at Heathrow, assaulting and spitting on a police officer, all over one misplaced bag. Naomi has been charged and convicted of various crimes dealing with her anger issues, so it?s not like it?s all a case of mistaken identity or one rare bad day. The crazy bitch has issues, and I?m surprised we don?t hear about her tantrums more often.
The latest incident occurred in the island of Lipari, Italy. Naomi was on holiday with her boyfriend Mikhail Prokhorov when a photographer (Gaetano Di Giovanni) got within slapping distance of Naomi. According to Di Giovanni?s statements to the press, Naomi ?slapped him and hit him with her handbag? and Naomi?s ?nails had damaged his left eye?. While Di Giovanni?s vision was compromised, he could ?hear that her bodyguards and her boyfriend were trying to drag her away?. Good Lord, I would have paid to see that.
Naomi Campbell has been accused of attacking a photographer and putting him in hospital during a holiday in Italy with her billionaire boyfriend.
Gaetano Di Giovanni claimed his face was scratched and bruised after Miss Campbell, 38, allegedly slapped him and hit him with her handbag. The supermodel’s ‘nails had damaged his left eye’, Mr Di Giovanni was reported telling Italian newspaper La Repubblica.
Miss Campbell’s representative denied the attack took place and said in a statement: ?Media reports circulating that Naomi Campbell attacked a photographer in Lipari, Sicily are completely untrue. The photographer was seen following Naomi Campbell on a small boat, taking photographs, the day after the alleged incident.’
Mr Di Giovanni told the Italian newspaper: ‘First she hit with her bag, screaming at me and then she tried to slap me. I managed to avoid her ? but her nails still got my eye.?
‘For a few seconds I could not see a thing. I could hear that her bodyguards and her boyfriend were trying to drag her away.’
Police on Lipari said no complaint had been made to them.
Lipari is part of the Eoliean Islands, a chain which stretches between Sicily and the mainland and is popular with celebrities.
Miss Campbell arrived on the island with Mikhail Prokhorov on his yacht after spending several days in the south of France. Last year the Streatham-born model, known for her temper, admitted attacking police at Heathrow in a row over lost luggage.

My favorite part is the image of Naomi?s bodyguards dragging her away from giving the guy an even worse beat down. Naomi is like a vampire or a rabid dog. When she smells blood, she just wants to attack even more. But still, Naomi denied the stuff even happened? could it be that this is one of those rare times when she didn?t attack anyone? My guess? Probably not. The incident fits in with Naomi?s previous behavior, so I?m buying it.

I like her as a brunette too - but the dark hair ages her. Well, it makes her look her age, while the blonde hair just makes me remember her youth. According to Fame, it took nine hours for Britney to go back to blonde on Sunday.
After sitting in the salon all that time, she hit the town in a slinky black dress, still no bra. Here?s my thing about the bras - some women can pull off the braless look consistently, but most women who attempt it just look sloppy. Britney is one of those girls who just look sloppy. In a couple of these photos, it looks like Brit?s left boob is trying to escape the crazy.
Radar pointed out that the blonding of young Hollywood seemed to be in-style this summer. Last week, Lindsay Lohan went back to some shade of cracked-out straw-blonde with ugly, fake-looking extensions. Jessica Alba has gone blonde too. The blonde thing seems to be on equal footing with the shaved head trend - one that Rihanna, Cassie, Solange and Amber Rose seem to be following. Please, God - don?t let Brit shave her head again. I can?t really make it out, but apparently Britney was also wearing some kind of ring that some are claiming is an engagement ring. She was also spotted out with a ring back in June, when there were rumors that she was engaged to manager Jason Trawick. As far as I know, she?s still with Jason, and the ring could conceivably be an engagement piece. We?ll see!

Lindsay Lohan went from something close to her natural red hair color to platinum blonde the other day in a marathon salon session that lasted a reported 11 hours. She emerged with nearly waist length blonde locks, partly covered by a fedora at Byron and Tracey Hair Salon in Beverly Hills around 11:30 at night. Lohan?s Twitter account states that the new hair is for a movie role, and the movie is presumed to be Dare to Love Me, which goes into production soon.

Speaking of her former ABC gig, “Desperate Housewives” director/writer Marc Cherry recently quashed rumors that Sheridan was cut from the cast due to infighting.

People Magazine doesn’t report conjecture like some of the other celebrity glossies. It’s pretty safe to assume that if People runs a story it’s from a solid source, usually directly from a celebrity’s camp even though they sometimes won’t admit it - like in the case of Shania Twain dishing on her husband’s infidelity. Over the weekend, People ran a story about how Jessica Simpson’s ex, Tony Romo, had a “wandering eye” during the last stage of their relationship, before he unceremoniously dumped Jessica. The breakup was a full three weeks ago and the news about these two was just starting to die down. People’s source is probably Jessica’s daddy Joe, considering that it only serves Jessica’s interests to keep the breakup in the press while painting herself as the victim. What’s more is that the article claims that Jessica thought she was going to marry John Mayer back when she was with him. Mayer was Jessica’s last steady boyfriend, but it’s suspicious that they’re mentioning him and it makes you wonder if he’s somehow back in the picture skulking around like a hyena waiting to feast on the remains left by Romo. Once he gets whiff of the “marriage” claims he’ll be off again anyway:
Jessica Simpson is “bummed” about her split from quarterback Tony Romo, but “it’s the best thing for her,” according to a source close to the singer.
“[Tony] wanted her to be a house mom and be in Dallas, and he wants to go out and play ? and not just football,” says the source.
Additionally, the source says Simpson and Romo’s relationship started to deteriorate toward the end of their time together. “It’s been tough for her. Tony had his eyes on everyone but her towards the end,” the source tells PEOPLE. “But let’s not forget they lasted for a long time and he stuck with her even though the fans didn’t like her.”
Although Romo has been linked to another woman ? Natalie Smith ? in reports, Smith’s father John, the associate athletic director at Eastern Illinois University, has denied rumors that the pair are an item.
Reps for Romo did not return calls for comment.
For Simpson, the breakup has meant letting go of her hopes for a future with the handsome football star. “I think when Jessica gets into a relationship, she thinks she is going to marry him and have babies,” the source says. “Every time she ends up with a boy, she is in the zone that it’s leading to marriage and babies. That’s how she’s programmed.”
And these feelings were not exclusive to Romo, says the source. “I guarantee when she was with John [Mayer] she thought she was going to marry John,” adds the source. “She’s in love with love.”
Another factor that makes relationships more tricky for Simpson is her family, says the source. “The closeness of her and her family ? that takes a toll on the boys,” says source. “They are extremely close and when you date her, you date her family.”
For now the singer is hunkering down with her parents at their home in Encino. Calif., but the source says: “She will come back stronger. She’s working out and she’s focusing on herself.”

That sounds like it’s directly from papa Joe, doesn’t it? Jessica went out for sushi with her sister, Ashlee, over the weekend and the paparazzi just happened to be there. It looks like she wanted some nice photos to go along with this story. I have only best wishes for Jess, but her dad needs to drop this and move on. The breakup was incredibly beneficial to Jessica PR-wise as it landed her on the covers of US and OK! this week. If her family keeps pushing this “poor Jess” angle the good will for her, along with the tabloid coverage, will start to dry up though.

Jessica “I’m too beautiful” Biel made her singing debut in a three-night performance in a concert version of “Guys at Dolls” at the Hollywood Bowl in LA this weekend. The Los Angeles Times gave the show, and Biel, high praise, saying that she was “glowing with an untrammeled radiance” and calling her duet with Brian Stokes Mitchell “lovely.” Commenters on the LA Times‘ site who saw the show said that it was a lot of fun and that Biel did a great job. Radar Online even reports that Biel got a standing ovation, lead by her boyfriend, Justin Timberlake:

Things might turn around for Biel’s film career, or she could easily get more theater work. Reinhardt. Doug was on The Hills, and he was weirdly orange, lame, dumb as a rock, and gross. In other words, he pretty much complimented Paris in every way. They could be vacant and gross together, especially when they got into those sexiest of places, a yacht bathroom. Anyhoodle, when they were first dating, Paris was all ?we?re going to get married and have dumb orange babies together?, and then two second later, she was all ?not so much, Budget!? CB even theorized that Doug got dumped via Paris?s spokesperson?s statement to People Magazine. But it doesn?t matter now, because they?re back together!
Less than two months after splitting, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt are back together, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.
“They are definitely happy again,” a source close to the couple — who called it quits in June after four months of dating — tells Us.
A rep for Reinhardt has no comment. On Monday, Reinhardt, 23, posted on Twitter: “What an amazing weekend with my beautiful girlfriend. I love her so much!”
The day before that, he wrote: “Laying in bed watching SportsCenter with my girl.”
Hilton, 28, declared she’d wed Reinhardt — who dated Lauren Conrad on The Hills — last April.
