Here is Katy Perry being booed as she posed for pictures on the catwalk at Moschino’s Milan Fashion, with some outlets claiming it’s because she turned up nearly an hour late for the event.
Several photographers grew “impatient” waiting for the 29-year-old star’s arrival and booed her as she walked down the runway to pose for photographs at around 8:55pm – almost an hour after the show was due to begin at 8pm.
Moschino designer Jeremy, however, has defended his star guest, tweeting: “YO WAIT A SEC WE WERENT WAITING ON @katyperry TO START THE @MOSCHINO SHOW WE WERE WAITING ON MODELS WHO WERE LATE ! CHECK YO FACTS FOOLZ !!! (sic).:”
Katy herself added: “I think maybe it was the language barrier cause we don’t speak Italian but we DO speak @Moschino @ITSJEREMYSCOTT.”

Also starring Helena Bonham Carter, Meryl Streep, Ben Whishaw and Brendan Gleeson, ?Suffragette? is currently slated for release in 2015.

Here are some photos of Simon Cowell and his girlfriend (are we calling her that?) Lauren Silverman in Miami over the weekend. These photos make me uncomfortable. I mean, Lauren and Simon were on a public beach and they were practically posing for happy family photos for the paparazzi, so it?s fair game. But it makes me uncomfortable because I feel like Lauren would probably prefer to be at home with the baby and not feel like she has to pose for nonstop photos when she?s only recently given birth.
Obviously, Simon and Lauren don?t have any problems with the baby getting photographed though. And even Simon?s dogs are in on it. Those dogs are pretty photogenic, I have to admit. However, I could have done without Lauren laying on top of Simon?s furry moobs. Girl, we get it! You ?got? him. For now. I feel like sitting her down and explaining the rules of the Cowell Harem to her. First rule of the harem: the furry moobs are shared.
Simon?s publicist recently explained to People Mag why Simon named his son after his father. Simon was famously very close to his dad Eric Cowell, and Simon ?is striving for is to build the same relationship over the years. It’s the whole family thing ? he got a tremendous amount of comfort from the relationship he had with his mum and dad. They were very, very close.”

Scarlett Johansson covers the Spring Edition of DAZED, which I guess is either an off-shoot or a new version of Dazed & Confused? I have no idea, really. I can barely keep up with these lower-tier magazines. ScarJo is promoting? well, that Under the Skin movie where she plays an alien or something. She?s also promoting The Winter Soldier, the Captain America sequel. Marvel recently announced that they were developing a stand-alone Black Widow film for Scarlett, although from the way Kevin Feige made it sound, this would be several years away and they don?t even have much of a story right now. Scarlett would be the first female comic-book heroine to get a stand-alone film at Marvel. How does that make you feel?
In a recent interview ? and this might be the DAZED interview, I really can?t tell ? ScarJo talked about the Black Widow and aliens and such. Some highlights:
Developing the Black Widow: ?I like the way Black Widow has been developed as an intelligent and complex female character. Instead of being sexual ornaments to the male superheroes, Black Widow has been given an interesting storyline and she has the kind of depth that allows you to do serious work and that?s why audiences have responded to these films.?
Being engaged to a Frenchman: ?Look, I?m with a Frenchman. I think jealousy comes with the territory. But I?d rather be with someone who?s a little jealous than someone who?s never jealous. I didn?t think I was a jealous person until I started dating my current, my one-and-only… Maybe in the past I didn?t have the same kind of investment. Not that I liked my [former] partner less, I just wasn?t capable of it or caring that much.?
Super-heroine films: ?I would never have expected this but it?s been a really pleasant experience. A lot of the superheroine films that were made in the past were not very good but Joss (Whedon) has got away from the hair-flipping, hands-on-hips kind of posing and created a very credible, professional, dangerous, and mysterious superhero in Black Widow. I?m very fortunate to be a part of these Marvel films because they have a lot of substance, actually. Even though the size of the films is just gigantic, the characters and the conflict and inner turmoil between all of us is really complex.?
Black Widow: ?I love playing her and it creates a positive image of a sexy, intelligent, and formidable young woman. She?s not an ornament, she?s a vital presence in the films and not simply there because she struts around in a tight-fitting suit. Her physicality is a big part of her image, but she?s also a smart and imposing kind of woman.?
Sexualized roles: ?Over the years I?ve been very fortunate to collaborate with cosmetics campaigns and clothing campaigns, to be photographed by the best photographers and make beautiful pictures and all of that stuff. I?ve been able to use it to my [looks] to my advantage in some ways. In other ways, it can be very frustrating at times because I?ve always thought of myself as being a character actor and you can be placed in this specific stereotype that the media puts you in, but the fact is that a lot of the work that I?ve done isn?t necessarily overtly sexual.?
Living in NYC: ?In New York I can walk everywhere and no one ever bothers me. People in New York, when they see a celebrity, they look, shrug their shoulders, and continue on. I live a relatively normal life, ride the subway, going to the grocery store, walk down the street. I don?t live in hotels, or get bodyguards. And, if ever I have a problem, I just jump in a taxi.?

I?ve only seen Scarlett as the Black Widow in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers, and I was not impressed with her at all in Iron Man 2. I thought she was decent in The Avengers, though. Mostly I think Marvel keeps her around so it won?t be a full-on sausage party and because Scarlett is known as ?the hot girl.? Plus, she was ornamental in Iron Man 2. They gave her a bigger part in The Avengers (but even then her role was somewhat negligible), and from what we keep hearing, she?s got a bigger role in The Winter Soldier. Is Marvel just slowly building the character or are they just keeping her around so Marvel will look like they don?t have a woman problem?

Angelina Jolie is on the top of the Hollywood heap once again. Only not really. Women?s Media Center compiled their list of ?highest movie stars? and wouldn?t you know? Angelina is the only woman to crack the Top Ten. It?s a sausage party beyond Angelina, only? the list seems to only be about money made from actual film work. In which case, Robert Downey Jr. with his crazy backend deal for The Avengers and Iron Man 3 was always going to be #1.
The top 10 highest-paid movie stars in Hollywood? A bunch of dudes…and Angelina Jolie. The Oscar winner was the top-earning female actress in 2013 with $33 million, according to figures used in a report compiled by the Women’s Media Center, but her seemingly to-die-for paycheck was only just big enough to put her on par with the, er, lowest-earning (you know, in Hollywood dollars) male actor, Denzel Washington.
Who’s tops? Robert Downey Jr., of course, with a $75 million haul from the Iron Man franchise, per the New York Film Academy.
Liam Neeson was the 10th-highest-paid male star, with $31.5 million, allowing just enough room for Jolie (who, while some of her top-earning male counterparts have been nominated, is the only one other than Washington to have won an Oscar) to squeeze in at No. 10 overall.
The ubiquitous Channing Tatum trailed RDJ last year with $60 million, while Hugh Jackman was next with $55 million, followed by Mark Wahlberg, with $51 million.
Dwayne Johnson is the not-so-surprising sixth-place hunk (his box office was bigger than Downey’s last year), ahead of Leonardo DiCaprio, Adam Sandler, Tom Cruise, Washington and Neeson.
As for the ladies who also had what can still be considered a very good 2013, Jennifer Lawrence was second to Jolie with $26 million. Kristen Stewart ($21.5 million), Jennifer Aniston ($20 million) and Emma Stone ($16 million) rounded out the top five.

I don?t doubt that Aniston has made $20 million off of film projects in the past year, but I would think that if we were counting money made from endorsement deals, modeling projects and SmartWater percentages, Aniston would be bumped up Jolie-level. Aniston?s side projects are very, very lucrative. Of course, Angelina has some lucrative side projects too ? the Chateau Miraval wine, the Louis Vuitton endorsement, The Style of Jolie jewelry. The thing about Angelina?s endorsements though is that I think a lot of that money goes to charity.
As for the dudes? as I said, I?m not surprised by RDJ. I?m also not surprised by Channing Tatum, Mark Wahlberg (he?s become a huge producer) or Leonardo DiCaprio. I?m a little bit surprised that Tom Cruise still cracks the top ten. I?m also surprised that The Rock is on there too.

Here are some photos from Saturday night?s Costume Designers Guild Awards, which must be one of the most fun of all the guild awards, I think. It?s a moment when everyone can come together and recognize all of the fun fashion in films for the year, and this year has been pretty great for costume designers. Off the top of my head, there are two films in particular where the costumes literally stole the scenes away from the actresses: Blue Jasmine and American Hustle (Jasmine won a big award too). And Amy Adams, always a team player, came to the event to help celebrate the Hustle team (plus Amy got a special award too). Amy wore this gown by Frocktalk, a label I?ve never heard of. The dress is pretty enough, and I like her old-Hollywood styling.
Olivia Munn in J. Mendel. Super-flattering! I had no idea she had such a tiny little waist. Great cut on her.
Mindy Kaling in Salvador Alvarez. I actually like Mindy in turquoise and the cut of this dress is flattering on her. My problem is that her makeup looks awful!
Raquel Welch ? good genes? Or a crazy amount of plastic surgery?
I was more than halfway through American Hustle before I recognized Elisabeth Rohm. She played Jeremy Renner?s wife, just FYI. She wore this Badgley Mischka. I don?t hate it. The black-and-white is actually a nice respite from all of the blues and greens at this event.
Kiernan Shipka in Delpozo. I love this young woman. It never feels like she?s dressing inappropriately for her age or for the event. This is a perfect look for her.
Crystal Reed in Naeem Khan. I had no idea who this girl was, so I had to look her up. She?s in Teen Wolf. She?s very pretty. I think she might have had the best makeup of any girl there.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out and about in NYC on Saturday. They had a date night (date lunch, maybe) at the ABC Kitchen. Lord help me, but I really like Kim?s whole ensemble, although I think the general style rule should be ?if it?s cold enough to wear a coat, it?s too cold to wear open-toe shoes.? Kim?s ensemble is by Celine (the dress and coat) and she paired that with Tom Ford sandals. Yeezington is wearing his beloved leather pants. Did she get that Celine coat in like five pale colors or is it just the same coat in different lighting?
Saturday would have been Kim?s father?s 70th birthday. Robert Kardashian (Senior) passed away in 2003, which would have made Kim just a month shy of her 23rd birthday when he passed away. To commemorate his life, Kim posted an old photo of her dad on her Instagram with this message: ?Happy Birthday dad! Can’t believe you would have been 70 today! Bet you’re up there eating tons of Ralph’s cake! Miss you & love you!? Is it tacky to post that on Instagram? I can?t decide. I mean, it?s one thing to talk about missing a loved one on social media, but since it?s Kim? it does feel like she?s whoring out the memory of her father as some kind of publicity ploy.

Ruh-roh. Britney Spears dyed her hair, you guys. Apparently, Britney went ?red? several days ago and she debuted the new color on stage in Las Vegas. These are photos of Britney and her current boyfriend David Lucado out and about in LA this weekend, so I guess she wasn?t in Vegas this weekend. So, Britney was showing off her new ?red? locks, but I dispute the idea that this color should be called ?red?. Red, to me, is Prince Harry?s hair. Amy Adams has red hair. Christina Hendricks is a redhead. This current shade that Brit?s working is, I believe, more of a budget burgundy. It doesn?t even look professionally done. It looks like something Kool-Aid based.
So, did Britney just dye it for a change? Did she do it just because she can? Did she go darker to let us know that she?s just a few months away from a Pink wig? I have no idea. I don?t think the Pink wig is about to make a comeback, although I do think this hair color makes Britney look unwell. Plus, it looks like she doesn?t wash her face or take off her makeup at night, right?
Incidentally, during a recent Las Vegas show, a fan took this video of Britney lip-syncing badly. Um? what did you expect? Do you really think Britney is singing live?
