On the topic of Hollywood?s obsession with plastic surgery, Cate recently told press she?s not interested in going under the knife anytime soon.
?I?m not sitting on a soapbox telling women what they should and shouldn?t do. I just know what works for me. I?d be too frightened about what it means long-term. Walking out wearing a glowing smile, Katherine Heigl was spotted leaving a meeting in West Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (March 12).
The "One For The Money" starlet looked happy on her day out as she sported oversized sunglasses, a white cardigan and leopard print flats while strolling towards her nearby ride.
The outing comes after one of Miss Heigl's former "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars, Ellen Pompeo, made an appearance on Chelsea Lately earlier this month discussing any possibility of her former castmate returning to the show.
Many fans of Katherine's have been interested about the topic, but when Chelsea asked flat out if the 33 year-old blonde beauty would be invited back to the series, Pompeo said definitively, ?I don?t think so... No, I don?t think that?s happening.?

In the latest issue of W Magazine, Jessica Biel says she’s never identified with girls. Which is weird because I assumed she was a prissy chick always gossiping about the 350 pounds she can bench, how she wrecked some guy in a pickup football game last weekend and how HGH makes her feel young again.
?[The first movie I remember seeing was] The Goonies. I never identified with girls, and the cast was all boys. Girls were nervous about going into caves; they were scaredy-cats?and I wasn?t into that at all. I loved the idea of being with a crew and having an adventure. I was really interested in pits full of snakes.?
I’m guessing she had more guy friends than girls as a kid because, for whatever reason, most young girls don’t find it endearing when you tell them to “grow a nutsack.” But her personality probably had more to do with her dad wanting a boy.
We lived in Colorado, and my parents were outdoorsy mountain people. My father would always say, ?Go out and don?t come back until you have something to show me.? Which meant he wanted me to come back with a scraped knee or an injury. When I went out to play, I felt like I?d better get hurt.
I actually think that was a hint she should go out and kill a deer with her bare hands so they could eat but kids suck at reading between the lines. Not that her entire childhood was tomboyish though. She did have Barbies.
I did, but it was always, ?Let?s play sex with Barbies!? My Barbies were usually naked. Once, I took their heads off, cut their hair, drew on their short, spiky hair with some markers, then stuck the heads on Christmas lights. Every year, we?d string our tree with those Barbie heads. It looked demonic. My parents were so cool?they saw it as a form of self-expression.
Ok, nevermind. I stand corrected. At least her upbringing led to a healthy appetite for sex which you can see in the quote above and the three selected out of context quotes below.
I?ve always been physical. I have no concept of what life is like without physical activity.
In truth, I like doing anything that requires breaking a sweat.

Candice and Erin have also been working overtime with a busy promotional tour to get these new products into the hands of their adoring fans.

Here are some new photos of my girl Dita Von Teese in Paris last night. She was the guest of honor at the premiere of Christian Louboutin?s cabaret show, Feu. Dita wore this silver-grey Herve L. Leroux dress which is? pretty. I like her in stronger colors, and this kind of washes her out. But the dress itself is beautiful, and Dita styled herself as she always does – immaculately.
Dita came to Paris by way of Australia – last week, she launched her new lingerie line by way of a runway show in Melbourne. Dita got a lot of press because she was very vocal in what she did and did NOT want to see on HER runway. She reportedly demanded models with ?a bit of jiggle? and absolutely no ?orange glow? from fake-tanners. Dita told the press, ?We gave a lot of models the axe for being too skinny – we probably turned away a dozen, It’s important to me [that] we show curvaceous women and fuller-figured girls… Lingerie looks terrific on girls with shape.? Imagine that – someone not hiring models because they?re too slender. The mind boggles. Dita also walked the runway for her own lingerie line – here?s one of the photos:
Sexy! And I don?t feel like I?m being assaulted by bones, either. Which is always nice.

I?ve actually been wondering about Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli for months. Don?t judge me! This is my profession!!! I look through photos all day, and over the past few months, Peter has been doing a lot of public appearances solo. It never seemed worth it to devote a post to ?I wonder what?s going on with Peter and Jennie?? But now there?s a reason to ask – Us Weekly reports that they?re ending their marriage after 11 years together. They have three daughters together. Peter was just out last night at the premiere of The Hunger Games – he brought his daughter Luca Bella (I?ve included the photo at the end of the post):
Sad day for Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth. After 11 years of marriage, the Twilight Saga actor, 38, and Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 39, have split, they tell Us Weekly in a statement.
“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children,” Facinelli and Garth tell Us. “We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
The pair share three daughters: Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5.
It was first marriage for Facinelli and the second for What I Like About You’s Garth, who was married to Daniel Clark from 1994 to 1996.

From what I know of Peter and Jennie?s marriage, he is very family-oriented and he?s sort of an advocate for having a more ?traditional? marriage. I think that?s why we?ve seen so little of Jennie throughout their marriage – she was at home, raising their girls. Plus, you know, I?m sure she wasn?t offer a ton of acting work, but still. I wouldn?t have thought that Facinelli would have grown into a talented actor, but he really has – I was particularly impressed by a character arc he had on Damages several years ago. And of course, he?s been riding the Twilight wave too.
So? I?m guessing that it wasn?t about another woman or another man. Maybe it was just about his career and getting bored with each other, something like that? I don?t know. I could be wrong. He seems like the kind of guy who might have a side-piece.

Last week, US Weekly ran a story that Demi Moore was “obsessing” over Ashton Kutcher, because she dared asked a friend for details about the new girlfriend Ashton escorted to an Oscars party. This was the same Oscars party that Demi co-hosted for the last two years and was conveniently absent from this year, having been away at rehab at the time. I was miffed at Ashton for seeming to plant this story of Demi as the desperate one, when he was the one looking like he was rubbing his new romance in and making sure that Demi heard about it. Some of you pointed out that Ashton and Demi have mutual friends, which explains why he went to that party, and that Ashton didn’t owe it to Demi to stay away. You also schooled me that it takes two to end a relationship.
A good friend of mine is currently going through some similar crap with a cheating husband (as have several other girlfriends) and it’s hard for me to be objective with some of these stories. So please keep that in mind when I cover this type of story. It’s easier to see the man at fault when that’s what I’m seeing, you know?
Anyway there’s a similar story about Demi’s desperation in UK’s Grazia magazine, which is probably taking earlier reports and embellishing them. The details are convincing, though, and it’s not farfetched to believe this is true. Allegedly Demi Moore is still contacting Ashton, and she freaks out when he doesn’t get back to her text messages right away. Keep in mind that she was with this guy for the last nine years and they were married for six and a half years. She should definitely move on, but it’s not like she’s stalking some guy she went on a couple dates with. Here’s more, via The Daily Mail:
One friend told Grazia magazine: ‘Demi definitely isn’t over him yet. Her mood right now relies solely on Ashton and how responsive he is to her messages and phone calls.
‘If he doesn’t message her back for a couple of hours or seems distant in a text, she starts freaking out. While she won’t admit it, she is still completely infatuated with him and it’s clear she wants him back.’
Demi is also said to have been thrown off after Ashton visited her in rehab.
The friend added: ‘Demi is her own worst enemy, because she was doing great in rehab until Ashton came to visit her.
‘He didn’t actually make it down until a couple of weeks ago, after promising to go numerous times before that. As everyone expected, his visit really threw her off and she went from being relatively calm to very anxious and edgy.’
Meanwhile, it has also been claimed that Demi is ‘in denial’ over Ashton’s reported relationship with Lorene Scafaria, after the pair made their public debut heading to a game of laser tag in Los Angeles on March 3rd.
A source told heat magazine: ‘Demi doesn’t know much about Lorene, as she’s been shielded from the media while in rehab. Demi and Ashton have been texting regularly. She seems to be in denial about the fact he is thinking of settling down with another woman and is looking forward to seeing him.
‘Demi’s friends are worried she doesn’t seem to have acknowledged Ashton’s new relationship.’
Despite the fact that Ashton and Lorene looked very friendly as they stepped out in LA earlier this month, a representative for the Two And A Half Men star has maintained the pair are ‘just friends’.

Well if this is true then Ashton isn’t doing Demi any favors by texting her back, visiting her in rehab, and giving her so much hope that they might get back together. Maybe that’s why he brought that new girlfriend to the party: he wanted Demi to know that he’d moved on. It sounds like he was too chickensh*t to tell her outright. I’m not blaming him for the state of their relationship, and now I definitely see the other side of it. Demi isn’t exactly a person who is able to stand on her own without a relationship, and she’s going to try and cling to Ashton until he puts his foot down.

Although Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry claimed in court last week that Nicollette Sheridan’s character was killed off because of budget restraints resulting from a decline in the show’s ratings and not because the he and Sheridan had a falling out, Sheridan’s attorney presented the court with a surprise voicemail from a “low-level ABC employee” who claimed to have “mistakenly received an email indicating that ABC was going to wipe all the hard drives clean to erase evidence of their intention to kill off her character Edie Britt on the show.” Dun dun DUN! Radar Online says:
[The voicemail said]: “I?m an employee of Desperate Housewives. I received an email soon after Nicollette filed suit; I think it was meant for a much narrower distribution, but it regarded having IT come in and wipe clean the hard drives of the producers in response to the correspondence that they?ve had email wise about firing Nicollette.
“Um, I think I got it by mistake; I believe they were going to have the Disney IT person come in to do the sweeping of the hard drive… that?s about all I know; you obviously can check this number and figure out who I am but I really don?t want to get involved.”
Mark and his partner Patrick Maloney want to have the employee called in as a witness, but the ABC lawyers contended this was “the first we’d heard of this,” to Judge Elizabeth Allen White and Tuesday is supposed to be the last day in the trial.
“I?m a real low level employee there and I shouldn?t have got that email, I?m on the general email list,” the staffer continued on the voicemail.
“But there was definitely a conspiracy to cover up the correspondence on email wise in regards to Nicollette.”
Last minute surprise witnesses? Dramatic court re-enactments? I’m still not entirely sure this isn’t just the script from season finale.

Jessica Simpson made two big public appearances yesterday – on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, and on Ellen?s show, in a pretaped appearance which airs today. Let?s start with the Ellen video, because this is the first time I?m seeing Jessica in motion in a while. Ellen was making a big deal about Jessica being due any minute, but Jessica claims she has ?some weeks? left in her pregnancy, ?It?s not like tomorrow? I had contractions last night and I freaked out a little bit. You know those Braxton Hicks things? It?s like these contractions that pregnant woman have towards the end. It prepares your body for delivery. I?m prepared. It?s scary. It?s like oh god, this can happen right now.? Oh, and Jessica confirms once again that she?s not expecting twins, it?s just one big baby girl. Ellen is really sweet to her, and Jessica seems more comfortable than I?ve seen her in a while. Ellen gave her a Snoogle body pillow and a table full of food. Jessica had to ask Ellen if onion rings were vegan.
Cute, right? On The Tonight Show, it was much of the same stuff. Jessica denied that she was expecting twins. Oh, and Jessica wore six-inch heels to both shows too – she told Leno, ?It?s a tough thing here and I?m wearing six inch heels, it?s a lot of weight to carry on six inches.? Jessica also discussed labor (?Labor is really going to hurt I have so much respect for my mom and all the women across the world.?) and her new favorite food – ?slutty brownies.? Those are ?a three layer desert which includes a layer of cookie dough, a layer of brownie mix and a layer of oreo cookie.?
She says she and Eric weren?t trying for a baby ?but we were practicing? and when she found out she was preggo, ?I freaked out I was so excited, Eric didn?t even know I was doing it, he was completely shocked. He cried.? Oh, and she is going to marry her K-Fed too – ?I want him to be my husband so bad. I do still want to wear the pretty gown so I have to wait? Now she?ll just be in the wedding.? My favorite part is when Jessica talks about how much she was sweating during the first months of her pregnancy and she started calling herself ?Swamp Ass?. I hope she never changes.

There?s some debate on some of the fashion sites as to why exactly Biel deserved the cover – technically, she?s doing some early promotion for the reboot/remake of Total Recall, which doesn?t come out until August. So what is Biel really promoting? Could it be her engagement to Justin Timberlake? The timing of the cover fits – she gets engaged over Christmas, and her publicist is able to arrange this cover shoot within weeks, which Biel likely did in February. So, basically, Biel is just going to be known as Justin Timberlake?s fiance/wife now. But she doesn?t mention Justin – which makes the short interview super-boring. Does anyone else think it?s funny that Biel still gets questions about 7th Heaven? Lots of actresses get their start on TV shows, and lots of actresses outgrow it. Biel is more than a decade removed from 7th Heaven, but it?s still one of the things that most people know about her: she did a churchy TV show and she?s with Justin Timberlake. Here?s a real question: if she was open to it, do you think Jessica Biel would find renewed career success in television? I have my doubts. Jessica Simpson made two big public appearances yesterday – on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, and on Ellen?s show, in a pretaped appearance which airs today. Let?s start with the Ellen video, because this is the first time I?m seeing Jessica in motion in a while. Ellen was making a big deal about Jessica being due any minute, but Jessica claims she has ?some weeks? left in her pregnancy, ?It?s not like tomorrow? I had contractions last night and I freaked out a little bit. You know those Braxton Hicks things? It?s like these contractions that pregnant woman have towards the end. It prepares your body for delivery. I?m prepared. It?s scary. It?s like oh god, this can happen right now.? Oh, and Jessica confirms once again that she?s not expecting twins, it?s just one big baby girl. Ellen is really sweet to her, and Jessica seems more comfortable than I?ve seen her in a while. Ellen gave her a Snoogle body pillow and a table full of food. Jessica had to ask Ellen if onion rings were vegan.
Cute, right? On The Tonight Show, it was much of the same stuff. Jessica denied that she was expecting twins. Oh, and Jessica wore six-inch heels to both shows too – she told Leno, ?It?s a tough thing here and I?m wearing six inch heels, it?s a lot of weight to carry on six inches.? Jessica also discussed labor (?Labor is really going to hurt I have so much respect for my mom and all the women across the world.?) and her new favorite food – ?slutty brownies.? Those are ?a three layer desert which includes a layer of cookie dough, a layer of brownie mix and a layer of oreo cookie.?
She says she and Eric weren?t trying for a baby ?but we were practicing? and when she found out she was preggo, ?I freaked out I was so excited, Eric didn?t even know I was doing it, he was completely shocked. He cried.? Oh, and she is going to marry her K-Fed too – ?I want him to be my husband so bad. I do still want to wear the pretty gown so I have to wait? Now she?ll just be in the wedding.? My favorite part is when Jessica talks about how much she was sweating during the first months of her pregnancy and she started calling herself ?Swamp Ass?. I hope she never changes.

Looking to boost the local economy, Taylor Swift was spotted out shopping in Melbourne, Australia today (March 13).

One thing I can admire about Julia Roberts is that she and husband Danny Moder seem committed to raising their children outside of the Hollywood zone. Hence the family’s main home base on a ranch in Taos, New Mexico and a relative dearth of paparazzi photos of the children. These photos of Julia with her 7-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, go way back to last September, and I guess I hadn’t realized how fast they’d grown. We all know where Phinnaeus’ got that amazing shade of red hair too, right? People often talk about how Nicole Kidman really should go back to red, but I’ve always felt that way about Julia as well.
Anyway, Julia has been working up to some heavy duty press for the dreadful looking Mirror Mirror, and she’s already given a slightly superior interview to Vanity Fair about how there could never be another Julia. Julia also gave a statement last fall about how she never wanted her kids to find out that she’s playing the Evil Queen, which left plenty of room for punchlines. Still, I sort of think Julia needs to relax about that issue because the Mirror Mirror trailers reveal because her Evil Queen to more of a Sarcastic Queen. It’s nothing like the badass Evil Queen that Charlize Theron has taken on in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman movie. Whatever the cause, Julia has calmly explained that she and Danny don’t really let their kids watch much of anything at all:
Julia Roberts’ kids don’t watch her movies – yet.
She’s starred in countless films, but according to the actress, it will be a while before her kids get to see any of them.
Roberts’s three children, 7-year-old twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter and 4 1/2-year-old Henry Daniel, will even have to wait to see her latest film, family flick Mirror Mirror.
“I think they are [too young] considering the part that I play,” Roberts, 44, told reporters at a press conference for the film, in which she plays Snow White’s evil Queen.
“We have a pretty rigid viewing feeling in our house,” she says of her policy with her husband, director Danny Moder, about exposing their kids to their work.
“We’ll find our right time that will be happy and joyous for us to share that all together, but it probably isn?t in two weeks.”
For now, her three kids don’t watch many movies or TV shows at all.
“Those nice, cozy, very short hours before bed, we just really spend together as a family talking and sharing the day and reading books, and really, before you know it, it’s time for bed,” she shares. “Part of it is there’s just not time for that. We would prefer something different in that time.”
Rather than spending family time gathered around the television set, Roberts and Moder share story time with their children.
“We’re more book people in our house,” she explains, adding that her family is interested in “stories and poetry and talking, sharing ideas.”
Which isn?t to say the actress is entirely opposed to her kids watching TV.
“They do get to watch some things,” she says. “But for us, we just feel there’s a real time and a place for it.”

I definitely see Julia’s point, which is family time with cuddles and bedtime stories are much more important than watching whatever garbage happens to be playing on the Disney Channel. Parents of young children know what I’m talking about when I say that the quality of that channel has severely declined in the past couple of years — let’s call it the Hydra Effect — when “Hannah Montanna” went off the air and several other (worse) shows sprung up in its place. Now it’s like Disney keeps playing the same few episodes of “Shake It Up,” “Good Luck, Charlie” and “Hey Jessie” over and over again.
So yes, children’s television in general and many of the movies don’t provide an ample source of great role models. Still, there are ways to frame issues, and Julia comes off sounding sort of holier than thou in this interview. Or does she? However much she tries, her kids will eventually watch all of her movies … and I think she shouldn’t be nearly as worried about the Evil Queen role as the one where she plays a prostitute a law student. Egads!

Over the weekend, I covered Jon Hamm?s interview with the new issue of Elle UK. In the interview, Jon discussed male and female beauty, how he?ll probably never get married, and interestingly enough, he took some time out to slam stupid people. Because life is an episode of 30 Rock. Surprisingly, The Hamm took the same basic track as Daniel Craig, only I like Jon?s argument more:
?Whether it?s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f**king idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you?re rewarded significantly. Incuriousness has become cool? It?s celebrated. It doesn?t make sense to me.?

I like that he made it about ?incuriousness? rather than the ungodly sums of money these famewhores rack in (which was Daniel Craig?s point). Anyway, you knew it was going to happen – I?m only surprised that it took a matter of DAYS for Kim Kardashian to respond, via Twitter:

Meh. It?s not as ridiculous as it could have been, but once again, I?m setting the bar pretty low for Ol? Kat-Face. Considering Kim is basically saying that Jon has every right to say what he said, but she just thinks he?s a big meanie, I wonder why she even responded. I mean, Paris Hilton didn?t respond. Did she? I didn?t even check. What does it say about Kim Kardashian?s incessant famewhoring if Paris Hilton knows when to keep her mouth shut and just let haters hate on?
As for Kim?s list of ?accomplishments? – dear God. Does she really consider herself a writer or designer? Or a ?creator?? The ?businesswoman? part of the argument is the strongest, but let?s not go overboard complimenting Kim?s ?creativity?.

Here are some new photos of Angelina Jolie, Zahara and Shiloh at LAX yesterday, taking a flight out of LA. My goodness we?ve had a lot of photos of the Jolie-Pitt kids lately. I hate noting that, by the way. The Jolie-Pitt-lovers yell at me because OF COURSE Angelina and Brad and their children aren?t photographed nearly as often as, say, Jennifer Garner and the Dimple Parade. And they?re right. And the Jolie-Pitt-haters yell at me because OF COURSE I love Angelina and I just refuse to see the massive conspiracy involving The Villainess Jolie and the way she outright forces her children to look happy for the cameras because Angelina is just plain evil. Of course. So I?ll just be pleasant and glide on through? the kids have been photographed a lot since the Oscars. Personally, I think it?s less about ?Angelina arranging photo-ops with the kids? and more about ?Angelina not caring so much about keeping her schedule locked down for a month following some bad press, so the paparazzi can easily find her and her lovely family.? Angelina and Jennifer Garner are surprisingly similar in that regard, I think.
But enough about Angelina. Let?s talk about the girls! I love everything about these two. I love that Shiloh really is a mini-Brad at this point. I bet she talks with an affected Missouri drawl too. She?s like the richest, most fabulous hillbilly child in the world. You know she totally picked out her tuxedo t-shirt. She probably thinks it?s the most awesome thing EVER. And it kind of is. It also seems like Shiloh?s little pixie/bowl cut is being grown out ever so slightly into a? mullet?!?!?! OMG. Shiloh with a mullet? Epic.
As for Zahara, I just love the way this girl puts together outfits. She has way more style than her mom. I basically wish I had her entire outfit in my size. Those are some kick-ass boots, and why can?t I have a snow leopard t-shirt?!?!?!?!?

Coinciding with the film's Stateside DVD release, Michelle Williams hit the red carpet once more for the Tokyo premiere of "My Week With Marilyn" on Tuesday (March 13).
The 31-year-old, who was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in the movie, charmed the audience members packing the Roppongi Hills venue while hoping to boost ticket sales ahead of the biopic's March 24th Japan release date.
The Tokyo premiere comes as Miss Williams is readying to shift away from "My Week with Marilyn" and turn her promotional efforts towards her upcoming film titled "Take This Waltz".
Set to screen the drama in April as part of the Tribeca Film Festival ahead of its limited June 29th release date, Michelle's new project tells the tale of "a happily married woman falls for the artist who lives across the street."
Directed by Sarah Polley, "Take This Waltz" also stars Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman and Aaron Abrams.

Perhaps giving us an inside scoop as to what went wrong with her recently failed marriage, the 42-year-old talked about her wedding ceremony that took place in that back yard of her Los Angeles home during a new documentary, "$ellebrity".
