Tending to some promotional duties for her new novel "The Body Book," Cameron Diaz paid a visit to "The Dr. Oz Show" on Tuesday (January 14).
While chatting with the doctor about the insightful book, the 41-year-old actress revealed a hidden talent as she chugged almost an entire liter of water in 20 seconds.
Miss Diaz, stated, "This is the best way for me to go poop in the morning. First I brush my teeth because I don't want to swallow all the bacteria in my teeth from the night before. So I make sure that's gone and then I ?? as she began to chug the water.
Afterwards, Cameron and Dr. Oz revealed a few stool samples to show the effects of drinking more water.

She is super excited for the birth of her second daughter, and Drew Barrymore reveals she loves every aspect of her pregnancy.
During an interview with E! News' Giuliana Rancic, the "Charlie's Angels" hottie shared a few of her cravings.
"The [cravings] with Olive were tamales," Miss Barrymore explained. "Anything tamale. I love tamales. With this little lovely lady it's like pan-fried noodles from any Chinese restaurant."
She continues, "I drive by them and I fantasize about them. I find myself like pulling over a lot for food. Like the car just goes off the lane and over to the restaurant."
In regards to the weight she's put on with her new bun in the over, Drew states, "I'm keeping it in check. I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I gain like about 40 pounds a pregnancy, which is totally fine."

If you were hoping Cameron Diaz would be your full bush advocate, you will be sorely disappointed. Diaz explained what she really meant by thesection in her book titled In Praise of Pubes. She wasn’t saying you should have a bush so full that when people part it they wonder if they’re about to go to Narnia. She was saying it’s your choice and it’s good to have choice which is why you should think twice about permanently lasering off your pubes.
?I didn?t say what I prefer, I just said pubic hair has a purpose,? she begins. ?You can do what you want with it, I don?t care ? you can shave it off every day, wax it off every day, turn it into a bonsai ? I don?t care.
?I just said consider maybe not removing it permanently and forever with laser treatment. Forever is forever and when we make those choices for our body we have to live with them forever.?
There you have it. Cameron Diaz has a pube bonsai. Trimming it is her way of relaxing after a hard day’s work.

This morning (January 16), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences unveiled this year?s Oscar nominees, and some of our favorite stars have weighed in on the news.
Leonardo DiCaprio gushed over his nod for Best Actor (Wolf of Wall Street), noting, "I am deeply humbled by this honor and even happier to share today with Marty [Scorsese], Jonah [Hill], Terry [Winter], as well as this entire cast and crew. The Wolf of Wall Street has been a passion project of mine, and I found the role to be one of the most challenging and rewarding of my career. Congratulations to all of my fellow nominees and thank you to the Academy for this extraordinary recognition."
Additionally, Leo?s cohort Jonah Hill got excited about his Best Supporting Actor mention. "I am in complete and total shock. I honestly was not expecting this, on a level you can't even imagine. Again, I'm clearly in shock. I didn't have a plan for celebrating today because I truly did not expect any of this! But I am going to the Critics' Choice Awards and it will be great to see everyone from the film there tonight. Truly, this is shocking."
Best Supporting Actress nominee Julia Roberts (August: Osage County) shared, "This was certainly a once in a lifetime experience and the recognition from it is an absolutely thrilling bonus. I simply could not be more excited right now."
Looking to score her very first Oscar, Amy Adams was overjoyed to hear that she made the cut for Best Actress (American Hustle). "It's a very good thing to wake up to; we were all asleep! Making Hustle was very challenging, so it's really nice that people not only recognized the film but all the actors as well. And I?m so proud to have been in Her too, which has been recognized with a best picture nomination. As for celebrating today, maybe we should go out for a family hike? Then again, everyone looks pretty tired around here right now!"
Best Actress hopeful Judi Dench (Philomena) declared, "This is just the loveliest news. I'm so happy for everybody involved, and so proud to have been part of the wonderful experience that Philomena has been."
?Gravity? helmsman Alfonso Cuaron was tapped for the Best Director category- "Thank you, Academy, for this incredible recognition. I have a problem ? I love stories about who were the first and second choices for films, who said no to a part and how a certain actor eventually got cast after 14 people refused. But I also judge actors for talking about it because it can get kind of tacky, right? Like, I would judge Anne Hathaway if she was giving interviews about how she said no to Silver Linings Playbook, a role that won Jennifer Lawrence the Best Actress Oscar in 2013. But I?d still want to know that Annie passed on it. Luckily, Harvey Weinstein is here to pass on all of the casting gossip that?s fit to print. Apparently, Anne was everyone?s first choice for Silver Linings Playbook, and Annie left the project because David O. Russell is kind of a douche (that?s what I?m getting, anyway). Let Harvey explain how it went down:
Well, at least they both won Oscars! During an interview on Howard Stern’s radio show Wednesday, Jan. 15, film producer and studio head Harvey Weinstein revealed that Anne Hathaway had originally been given Jennifer Lawrence’s role in Silver Linings Playbook, but dropped out due to “creative differences.”
“Does it drive you insane when you can’t get your starlet, the one you know that is going to be right for the movie?” Stern asked The Weinstein Company co-chairman.
“It doesn’t drive me insane because I’ve always believed if we can’t get somebody established, we’ll find somebody new,” Weinstein, 61, said. “I’ll give you an idea: Silver Linings Playbook was originally going to be with Anne Hathaway and Mark Wahlberg . . . and then Anne wasn’t doing it. And she’s marvelous, and wonderful and she was my choice, I love her.”
“You made a move to get Anne Hathaway and you couldn’t get her?” Stern asked.
“No we got her,” Weinstein confirmed. “We had Annie and then we had Mark . . . then whatever happened, happened.”
What exactly was it that happened?
“Well, David and Anne had some creative differences,” Weinstein confessed. “They didn’t see eye-to-eye.”
“I bet she’s kicking herself in the head,” Stern quipped about not appearing in the acclaimed 2012 blockbuster. (Wahlberg was also replaced in Silver Linings Playbook by Bradley Cooper. In the film, Lawrence played a quirky, mentally unstable widow named Tiffany Maxwell who falls in love with Cooper’s Patrick “Pat” Solitano, Jr., a Philadelphia-area man who suffers from bipolar disorder.)
“Well, whatever. I don’t think so,” the studio exec said. “She went on to win the Academy Award for Les Miserables — maybe we’re kicking [ourselves] in the head.”
“Then Jennifer Lawrence and two or three other actress came in, and the minute we saw Jennifer Lawrence’s tape . . . Because I said, ‘How the hell are we gonna replace Annie?’ And then this amazing creature walked in who is a brilliant actress, and so much fun, and she won an Oscar.”
As it turns out, Silver Linings Playbook wasn’t the first time Hathaway has turned down a movie role that went on to become a big hit. In an interview with the July 2012 issue of Allure, Hathaway said dropped out of Katherine Heigl’s role in the 2007 comedy Knocked Up due to a graphic birth scene.
“I thought about that [director] Judd [Apatow] was right to include the shot. I didn’t disagree with the shot,” she explained. “My issue with it was that having not experienced motherhood myself, I didn’t know how I was gonna feel on the other side about giving birth. Because giving birth involves another human being, I didn’t feel it was fair for me to make that call for myself.” She added, “And by the way, I could pop out a kid and think, ‘Oh, well, really should have done that movie.’”

If I remember correctly, Angelina Jolie was also up for the Silver Linings role at one point too, perhaps before Annie. I remember some casting speculation that Mark Wahlberg and Angelina would be doing the film, and then I think Angelina walked away. Maybe Angie thinks David O. Russell is kind of douchey too. Anyway, these ?what if? games are always fun, but when you really think about it, I seriously doubt that Anne Hathaway would have won Best Actress if she had been in the film. Jennifer Lawrence won because she was so young and funny and she just played her Oscar campaign so well.

Sorry, Keira Knightley, you were not the prettiest person at the Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit premiere in LA last night. Chris Pine was the prettiest. I think he?s even wearing some subtle makeup! Which isn?t to say that Keira doesn?t look pretty. She does! Keira wore this cutesy blue and white Chanel dress for the premiere which? I don?t know, you guys. She?s a Chanel girl (she?s one of the faces of Chanel fragrances) but I kind of think this dress is wrong for the premiere. Plus, the tiny little bows are killing my soul a little bit. In a miniture version, this dress would be adorable on, say, Seraphina Affleck. Not on a grown-ass woman of 28.
So, let?s talk about Pine. He sort of shaved since his ROWR appearance at the Golden Globes ? he had a full-on salt-and-pepper beard at the Globes, and now he?s working some romance-novel scruff. I?m trying to remind myself that Pine wears the Eau D?Ouchebag cologne, but I?m finding it difficult to remember that. Lord, he looks hot. I would bang that senseless. I?m also including photos of Kevin Costner and his wife (Kevin plays the James Earl Jones-type mentor in the film, for people familiar with the Jack Ryan franchise) and director/costar Kenneth Branagh.

Sometimes I?m a bad judge of what certain gossip items will interest you. Like, I thought it was slightly interesting but not particularly notable that Hilary Duff announced her separation last Friday, the Friday before the Golden Globes. If Hilary was some big celebrity, I would say that she was trying to steal everyone?s Globe-thunder. But because Hilary is ? what? ? C-list, maybe, I just thought she planned the Friday afternoon announcement so that it would be buried in an avalanche of Globes coverage. And that the extent of my interest ? I was trying to figure out what Hilary was trying to achieve with her timing.
What doesn?t make sense, though, is that I think Hilary is trying to re-launch herself as a celebrity now that her marriage is over. Like, maybe she?s trying to pull a Jennie Garth? Could be. Hilary has been pap?d every day since she announced her separation, and both Us Weekly and Life & Style are running insider-y stories about what went wrong in her marriage. Here?s Life & Style?s story:
Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie?s split may have come as a surprise to many, but sources tell Life & Style the couple have actually been growing apart for years. In the new issue of Life & Style, insiders close to the couple reveal it was Mike’s retirement from his NHL career in 2012, due to hip surgery, that caused problems for the pair.
?He?s in the house all day, every day,? an insider tells Life & Style. ?It was a strain on the relationship.?
As son Luca, born in March 2012, grew older, the couple discovered they wanted different things in their lives.
?The honeymoon phase was over, and they realized they had little in common,? says a friend of the former Lizzie McGuire star.
Mike hoped to expand their family, but Hilary, 26, wasn?t ready.
?She was really young when they got married, and she still wants to go out and have fun. Mike?s more of a homebody.?
Friends say the duo were going to marriage counseling for more than a year before the split.
?She was always hoping to work things out,? says the friend. But in the end they both realized they?re better off as friends.

Us Weekly?s story is the same basic thing, sources saying that Hilary and Mike went to marriage counseling, etc. Here?s an interesting tidbit: they apparently were in counseling for 18 MONTHS. They were only married three years. They were in counseling for half their marriage! A source says: ?She felt he didn’t put enough effort into the relationship? [even after counseling] recently he wasn’t doing any of the things they’d worked on.” The sources also say Comrie basically sat around the house, scratching his cojones.
So, that?s the official story from Team Duff, I?m assuming. Hilary did everything to make it work but at the end of the day, he was lazy and even a year and a half of counseling didn?t solve much. Do you want to give Hilary a Lifetime movie now?
PS? Honk if you want me to continue covering Hilary Duff, because like I said, I?m a bad judge of your interest in celebrities like her.

Emmy Rossum covers the February issue of Complex magazine to promote Shameless, which I still haven’t watched. I want to watch it, really, but I’m a television commitment phobe. It will happen eventually. Emmy’s so physically lovely, and I’ve heard so many great things about the show. This Complex spread is all leather and vinyl, and Emmy looks good. Her body is pretty insane.
The interview is rather surprising because it contains a lot of substance. I guess I’m used to Emmy pulling up a chair and yakking about her dog’s massive wang to magazines. She still talks about sex here, but it’s rather deep stuff to be coming out of a starlet’s mouth. Let’s get to it, shall we?
On the nannies that raised her: “They were all women who were in their 60s–my mom wouldn?t let anyone who was of procreating age take care of me. My nannies taught me that if you wanted it bad enough, impossible things could happen, like your dad coming back. That was something that was verbalized to me as a kid, like, ‘If you light this many candles or if you pray or do this or do that….’ It made me disillusioned as a teen when that didn?t happen, and when I started becoming known as an actress and it still didn?t happen. There were a lot of disappointments. That?s something I draw on for characters and that?s definitely where my distrust stems from. I feel like I?m going to read this and be like, ‘Wow, I was way too open.’”
On having an absent father: “It initially made me want a relationship with my father more but I realized that?s not possible. He?s not interested in that. Whether or not I was ready to face that, I had to. I definitely have feelings of abandonment and self-protection over that, and Fiona does, too. Her feelings toward her mom are probably closer to my feelings toward my dad because her mom is MIA and my dad is MIA. We have that childish hope that somebody who doesn?t care about you suddenly will.”
She’s not a Hollywood trainwreck: “Nobody can give you a guidebook on how to play it. Jennifer Lawrence plays it best because she’s not playing it. People can tell when you’re playing. I must not be that interesting. I don?t like the club scene and most of the people I?ve dated haven?t been actors, so I?ve finagled my way out of it. But it’s not as if paparazzi don?t park outside my house and snap my photo. They do. I just [don't] go to clubs without my underwear on. The club scene just never interested me. It?s not like I didn?t do it for a week, but then it was boring to me. I couldn?t hear anybody. I love getting to know people. In the club you?re oversaturated and not experiencing the people you?re with.”
On her biggest romantic fail: “I was walking down the street in Greenwich Village late at night with a fellow I went on a few dates with and a bar was playing a Justin Bieber song. I started dancing and having fun with it. I knew some of the words. He must have thought I really liked Justin Bieber because a couple weeks later I was on location and he sent me a care package with an autographed picture of Justin Bieber and a bunch of my favorite candy. I thought it was funny so I sent him an autographed picture of Carly Rae Jepsen. Our relationship ended shortly thereafter. But I actually had the picture of Justin Bieber up ironically in my room for a couple months. It was pretty funny. That was before he was urinating in public and saying Anne Frank would?ve been a ‘Belieber.’”
On sexual themes in pop music: “There’s this Enrique Iglesias song ‘Tonight (I?m F—in? You).’ It?s basically about tonight he goes to a club, he sees a girl, and then he?s going to f— her. How about buy her a drink first? How about find out her last name? It sends women the message that that?s how you should be treated, because girls are programmed to want the famous guy, to listen to what they say. There?s a lot of harm that could be done through stuff like that. Women putting that sentiment out there, I have no problem with that. There?s a kind of female empowerment that Sex in the City started that women should retain their sexual power. That?s not how I approach sex, but if a woman wants to have sex that way, I?m OK with her doing that. I think there should be equality. The idea of sex being in a club. ‘Tonight, I?m f—ing you’? To me it;s just so gross.”

There?s something charmingly/annoyingly antiquated about Julia Roberts. She?s charming because she really doesn?t give a flying f?k and there?s a complicit understanding that everyone in the cheap seats can say whatever they want about her and she?s fine with it because she?s a damn movie star and movie stars don?t have to care what the peasants say or think. The annoying part? Sometimes that comes across as smug and self-satisfied when really she?s just a throw-back, some movie star from a different era (and, to be fair, she?s pretty smug too). Anyway, I was reminded of this Julia Conundrum when I was reading her thoughts on social media:
If you’re waiting for Julia Roberts to get on Twitter, don’t hold your breath. During a press interview for her film August: Osage County, the A-lister explained why she won’t be joining any social media networks anytime soon.
“Well, I haven’t chosen to not be a part of it. I kind of just don’t get it,” she said when asked why she’s steered clear of certain sites.
“See that’s the thing I don’t get. It’s like screaming into the wind. I guess I just don’t get it. If somebody has a grievance with me, or if it’s a friend or somebody has been misinformed or misunderstood, I would go to them directly,” she added.
“There’s a directness that I miss and the idea of Internet or Twitter?I picture Twitter on a pager which I know is also antiquated, I don’t know where you Twitter!”
On a pager?! Julia, we love you. Don’t ever change. Keep playing snake on your Nokia 3310.
“There’s just a lack of human connection to all of it and that doesn’t appeal to me,” she said during the interview.
But the Oscar winner isn’t completely against websites like Twitter or Facebook, they’re just not for her. She added that she recognizes that social media can be amazing and even help people.
“It makes people feel connected and it brings people together and does all these awesome things, but for me, I like to look at somebody and have more tangible connections. That’s what I as a person am invested in.”

?It’s like screaming into the wind?? Part of me sort of agrees with her, and the fact that I?m agreeing with Julia Roberts upsets me. So much of social media is just a stupid time-suck, an inventory and management of nothingness. But I do enjoy how Julia tries to make it sound like she?s so holier-than-thou when really she?s just a technological Luddite, like so many people past a certain age. *shakes fist at cloud*

Your eyes do not deceive you. Miley Cyrus has manged to double down on her already awful hairdo. You’re looking at a photo of Miley outside a recording studio. There is indeed an epic, bowl-shaped haircut on Miley’s head. What on earth was she thinking? Who knows. She probably thinks it’s SO hot. She’s totally on “another level of sh-t.” You couldn’t possibly understand.
Beyond gaping at Miley’s hair, this isn’t a huge news post. These are some freeform stories about Miley that I’m gathering together for fun. Bulletpoints, please.
* Miley is now super good friends with hip hop star Bishop Don Juan. He’s an ex-pimp who has taken to partying with Miley. The Mail has photos of the duo looking wasted together.
* Tish Cyrus has finally admitted that some of Miley’s antics do bother her, but she feels powerless. She doesn’t mind Miley’s revealing clothing though. Except for that one white dress with black nipple pasties. LOL.
* The tabloids still relish Miley’s life of drama. This week’s Life & Style (via Jezebel) has a ridiculous story about how Miley is “humiliated” because Kellan Lutz rejected her love. Supposedly — and this is based on Kellan calling dating rumors “hilarious” during a radio interview — Kellan thinks Miley is “kind of gross.” I don’t know. Maybe Kellan really does think this about Miley, but he doesn’t mind hitching a ride on her private jet though. It’s not like Kellan should talk. He’s kind of gross too! His dumb Hercules movie crashed so hard last weekend. Plus he can’t bother to buy sweaters long enough to cover his torso. Nice man nips, dude.

Gisele Bundchen gave an interview to the Associate Press about her life these days. I?m assuming she gave this interview before her wild Costa Rican vacay, where she was photographed riding an ATV with her youngest, daughter Vivian (CB discussed that controversy yesterday). By the way, there was so much outcry and mommy-blogging about those photos, Gisele?s rep had to issue a statement about it. The statement: “Gisele was on a private beach driving very, very slowly.? That?s it. That?s her whole justification/excuse. It?s okay for her to do it because she was driving slowly on a private beach. Controversy over!
Anyway, Gisele rubs me the wrong way most of the time, like when she?s trying to put herself out there as the Best Mother Ever, but as CB pointed out yesterday, some of that was just new-mother stuff. She?s been much more low-key with her ?advice? and mom-judgments with her second child. Anyway, in this new interview, Gisele talks about football, her hair and of course, her diet.
It may be NFL playoff time in the Tom Brady-Gisele Bundchen household, but the stress doesn’t carry over at home.
“He’s very focused,” the 33-year-old Bundchen said of Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots, in a recent interview. “We are both very supportive of one another in what we do. … Of course nobody likes to lose. Those aren’t the best days. He knows he does his best. He works extremely hard.”
The three-time Super Bowl champ and his New England Patriots travel to Denver to play the Broncos on Sunday for the AFC championship.
To stay calm, the Brazilian model says the couple winds down differently.
“At night if my husband is watching TV and watching football, I have my little book and I put something in my ears so I don’t hear it and I put my light (on) and have my book and I’m like, ‘Ohhh.’ He’s feeding his soul and that’s important to him to watch football. I only want to watch if I’m watching him,” she joked.
And win or lose, family comes first. Brady has a 6-year-old son, John, whose mother is actress Bridget Moynahan. Bundchen and Brady have a 4-year-old son, Ben, and a 1-year-old daughter, Vivian.
“He’s very loving and it’s a wonderful thing. In our house we are very affectionate,” she said. “I think it’s very important for the boys to know that it’s OK to hug and to kiss and you’re not less than a man.”
Bundchen was recently named a brand ambassador for Pantene hair products. She’s worked with the company in Brazil since 2007. When she’s not working, Bundchen says she doesn’t have much time to put into her locks and laughs that her go-to style is a “sleek bun.”
She doesn’t even own a hairbrush.
“In my job you have to remember people are brushing my hair every day. You have to remember the last thing I want (on a day off) is a brush in my hair!”
Bundchen says she’s committed to being healthy and treating her body right in order to look and feel her best.
“Products are amazing but if you are putting things that are unhealthy inside your body it’s just masking stuff. … I haven’t drank soda in 10 years. My kids eat what I eat. The first (solid) food my son had was papaya and then avocado. … He loves garlic because we eat a lot of garlic in our house. Even my little daughter. … She will not eat anything unless there’s garlic. Garlic and ginger. … They really eat what I eat.”

I can?t shade her for not owning a brush. I don?t own a hairbrush either. I have a wide-tooth comb/pick that I use and that?s it. I haven?t owned a brush in at least a decade. So? I?m kind of with her on that. And I too would not watch football by choice, and I think it?s funny to imagine Gisele and Tom?s nights at home as him watching a game and Gisele with her headphones on, reading her local Book Club selection. And of course her son?s first solid food was papaya. OF COURSE. I wish I could quit soda, but I need at least one Diet Pepsi to get through the day ? sadly, the day would not be worth living without my Diet Pepsi. My justification is that I don?t drink coffee, so I need my caffeine somewhere.
PS? I?ve never noticed before today how much Gisele looks like Julia Roberts when she smiles.

Taking some time to sort things out for herself, Hilary Duff went to the skin care clinic after heading to the gym in West Hollywood, CA.
The 26-year-old was focusing on her fitness today (January 15), sporting a cute pastel Pink tank top, sexy yoga pants and a pair of cute Pink running treads.
The former "Lizzy McGuire" starlet stopped out without her wedding ring, and, as previously reported, she had officially split from her husband of three years, NHL hockey player, Mike Comrie.

Keeping up with her workout routine while she carries a bun in the over, Olivia Wilde stopped by Equinox gym in West Hollywood this morning (January 15).
The "Her" actress donned a black-and-white tie dye top and black capris as she and her gal pals made their way into the building.
Recently, Olivia finished the production of her upcoming thriller "Lazarus." Directed by David Gelb, the film is about a group of medical students that discover way to bring dead patients back to life.
Starring with Miss Wilde are Evan Peters, Sarah Bolger and Donald Glover. "Lazarus" set to hit theaters early 2015.

Tending to her to-do list, Doutzen Kroes stepped out of her hotel to run a few errands in Miami, Florida on Tuesday (January 14).
The Victoria's Secret Angel donned a stripped mini-skirt and a black graphic t-shirt as she made her way out into the busy city.
Yesterday, Doutzen stopped by a local VS store to promote the company's sports clothing line. Shoppers were able to see her wearing a neon yellow top over a matching sports bra with gray leggings.
Afterwards, Miss Kroes took time out of her busy schedule to interact with a few fans on Twitter. "Get ready I will start answering questions now!!! Use #vssport #askanangel in your tweet!!" she wrote.
