Her popularity never seems to wane, and Gisele Bundchen has just been named the new face of the campaign for Chanel No 5.
As one of the industry?s most iconic fragrances, the French perfume?s seasonal spread has always been a highly-sought-after gig by top models the world over.
Furthermore, WWD reports that Ms. Bundchen will team up with famed Australian director Baz Luhrmann when it comes time to do the shoot.
And given Gisele?s vast catalog of work, the forthcoming Chanel No 5 concept is sure to be an exciting endeavor.

Despite dozens of rumors plaguing them and claiming they had broken up, model Cara Delevingne and actress Michelle Rodriguez are reportedly still together, and planning on going on another romantic trip together.
She has already arrived at the Cannes Film Festival, where her 21-year-old girlfriend has been for the past week, and the two will be heading to Morocco this weekend to attend Poppy Delevingne’s second wedding ceremony in Marrekesh this weekend.

This is a fresh new pic ^^ of Kim Kardashian just a short time ago in Paris with IgNori. My God, I feel so sorry for Paris and all of the people in Paris this weekend. This is going to be such a huge circus, I can?t even imagine. You?re in my prayers, Paris.
Us Weekly has a rundown of everything we can expect, and what guests can expect. I won?t go into the kind of excessive detail that Us Weekly has, so let?s just do the highlights:
*Guests need to arrive today, and they will find gift bags in their suites worth thousands of dollars. First up: a ?French-royalty themed? rehearsal dinner at Versailles tonight.
*Tomorrow morning, all of the guests will board a charted jet for Florence where the real magic happens.
*Construction crews have been working like crazy in Florence to erect (heh) something something for the wedding. There will also be a huge team of hairstylists and makeup people to help everyone primp before the wedding.
*The vows will be exchanged at sunset at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, which has been rented at a cost of $400,000.
*Us Weekly claims that the actual vows and ceremony will not be filmed for E!, but the wedding prep will be filmed.
*On Sunday, wedding guests will get a brunch in Florence, then a flight back to Paris. Guests ?should not be worried? about missed connections, because there?s one wedding planner per five guests. YIKES.

And that?s about it. I don?t really know what kind of coverage you guys want of this mess, but I suspect that a lot of the coverage will be contingent on the photos we have. I?m not expecting much. But I do hope we get to see her dress. Yeah, I hate myself for admitting that. Besides, it?s not like any of this is ?legal,? right? I doubt they?ve got all of their paperwork in order. This is all just the ?show? wedding. The legally binding wedding will be some other time.

I?ve never had much of a problem with Taylor Swift?s constantly red lips. Chica loves red lipstick, and even if the red lip doesn?t really work with the ensemble, Swifty still tries to pull it off. Mostly, I don?t have much an opinion on lipstick ? I haven?t worn it in years, since my terrible ?pale purple lipstick? phase in college (I looked like a corpse). I go for tinted lip gloss sometimes and that?s about it. What I?m saying is that I never really have a dog in this lipstick hunt, I just judge celebs on whether I think a certain lipstick works on them. For Swifty, her red lips are now one of her ?trademarks.? She recently spoke about why she?s obsessed with the red lip:
How many red lipsticks does she have? ?I don?t have an excessive amount! I just find one I like and use it. Right now [I'm using] Dragon Girl by NARS ? I?ll go through different phases with makeup and always try new things. Except I never really get too far from red lipstick, do I? I guess I just think my face looks worse without it. That?s pretty much the only rationale behind it.?
She?s also obsessed with the high-heeled Oxfords:?I really like an oxford high heel for kind of looking more like either a student or like you?re going to work. I don?t know, there?s something [that gives me some normality]. That?s what I kind of like to channel when I?m wearing them.?
She doesn?t share clothes with friends: ?The one common thread between [my friends] is they know who they are and they?re very sure of who they are. We don?t usually have the same style. If they see me wearing something, they know it?s because that?s something that represents me and they?ll wear something very different ? It doesn?t really affect the conversation, what we?re wearing.?

?I guess I just think my face looks worse without it.? That?s a weird statement to make. ?Worse?? How about ?I think my face looks better with it.? It?s like she aiming for humility and it just sounds like she has zero confidence, which we know is untrue. How about, ?I wear red lipstick because I like it, I got breast implants because I wanted them, and I wear shoes with cats on them because I?m awesome!? Positive-body-image statements would be great coming from someone who prides herself on how she presents herself to her young fans.

The annual Cannes amfAR gala is Sharon Stone‘s baby. She loves to get tipsy (some might say sloppy drunk) and host the auction. This year, we haven’t heard any reports of Sharon laying kisses all over the male nearest her podium, so maybe she kept a lid on her drinking. Better luck next time.
Sharon wore a scarlet red Roberto Cavalli gown that was classy up top and near the bottom. The dress draped beautifully, and everything is fine if we don’t look at the awkward “cut-out” belt around her stomach. Those holes continue around the back of the dress too. How unfortunate.
Heidi Klum will surprise us someday by showing up to an event in a really amazing dress. This was not that event. Heidi wore Atelier Versace, and the dress looked decent on the runway. It was meant for a smaller breasted woman, but Heidi loves to bust out whenever possible. Even better? Busting out in a super embellished dress with a thigh-high slit while sporting a super orange fake tan. Never change, Heidi.
Rosario Dawson wore a navy Vionnet dress with cap sleeves and a deep-v mesh panel dressed up with a faux scoop neckline. Everything about this dress is awkward, and it doesn’t seem dressy enough for a gala. From the neck up, Rosario looks amazing. This dress is a complete “no.”
Barbara Palvin is one odd chick. She’s got a wacky personality that comes through in photos and even weirder taste in men (if Justin Bieber qualifies as a man). I can’t find the ID on this dress, but Barbara went very dramatic. She went vampy in a black gown with sheer legs, a plunging neckline, and granny panties shining through. It’s not awful.
Kelly Preston and John Travolta brought the CO$ discomfort to the gala. These two always look so wrong together, but they’re in it for the long haul. Kelly’s wearing Oliver Tolentino couture. The red lace looks really budget and itchy. John’s wearing a Sharpie work of art on his chin.
Jane Fonda keeps on killing it this red carpet season. She hasn’t embarrassed herself at all this year, and this gorgeous Atelier Versace dress is no exception. She’s 76 years old, and she’s better dressed than most of the ladies here.
Paz Vega chose a Fitriani couture dress with a dramatic plunging neckline that barely contained her girls. The structured hips are a risky move, but the slight fishtail and tiny belt help rein in the dress as a whole. I like it.
Liu Wen wore a pale blue Vionnet gown that looked like a cut-out nightmare. This dress reminds me a lot of January Jones’ 2011 Golden Globes Versace dress except that it’s not Versace. It’s Vionnet, so it’s a sloppy mess. The runway version included a white t-shirt.
Kylie Minogue looks ravishing in a Juan Carlos Obando dress. Satin can look messy and budget, but this dress is so well cut and tailored. She’s glowing.
Jess Weixler looked amazing in a soft blue Martin Grant gown. She looked old school and glamorous, but the statement neckline gave the dress an updated vibe.
Natasha Poly wore an emerald-green Marni gown with a structured bodice and a strange peplum. It’s beginning to look … a lot like Christmas?
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley broke out the Emilio Pucci with major cutouts on the side. I guess the strappy sandals match the cutouts, but this dress would have been so pretty in a solid material. A rare smile from Rosie does help the overall look.
Izabel Goulart wore a frothy, blush Pink Atelier Versace gown. This dress is deceptively complex and wonderfully tailored. Izabel let the dress do the talking with swept back hair and a simple de Grisogono diamond necklace.

For all the crap I give Gwyneth Paltrow, I did feel a pang of sympathy for her in these photos. Gwyneth was at LAX a few days ago, carrying (or rolling) her own luggage, and homegirl looked stressed. Probably because she was surrounded by screaming paparazzi and a million flashes going off. So? let?s at least give her some credit for being able to make it into LAX without losing her cool, and while handling her own luggage too. Of course, one of the bags is Chanel (from the new ?Graffiti? collection) and it costs $3800. I?m sure she got it for free.
Meanwhile, would you like to hear about this week?s Goop-letter? It?s about food. AND reading. Gwyneth has deigned to start a book club? a book club only for cookbooks.
This was not my idea. The cookbook club. Which is probably why it?s so good. While I have always liked the idea of a book club (sorta) I am just not that type of gal. Until one of my gorgeous girls suggested we do a different book club of sorts. A cookbook club! Now, as someone who gets in bed and reads cookbooks cover to cover as if they were novels, this idea was scintillating. We set off to find the ideal book to kick it off using the same criteria we would if we were choosing a novel, something challenging, beautiful, and with the possibility of becoming a classic. We landed on Roberta’s Cookbook. And we smoked our own fish, dammit. Goop also asks us to tweet about it too, using the hastag #goopcookbookclub. I double-dog dare you to tweet her about the fact that she?s recommending a recipe that involves (GASP) pasta. THE HORROR. This might be the most gauche thing she?s ever done! Trying to interact with the peasantry about? food. Ugh! To be fair, I glanced through the recipes and most of them seem like a lot of work (you have to make your own pasta and buy and cook sea urchin tongues), but none of the recipes are grossly offensive, in the vein of ?one grape, cubed and garnished with a Tic Tac.?
Oh, and I feel like she?s judging people who belong to book clubs ? ?While I have always liked the idea of a book club (sorta) I am just not that type of gal.? Book clubs are for peasants, I suppose. Plus, I don?t imagine Gwyneth?s elite circle of friends are big readers.
Last thing: is she wearing Apple?s leather jacket? Right? That?s like a kid?s jacket.
