Ali Larter is currently co-starring in Taylor Sheridan?s (creator of Yellowstone, et. al) ?new? Paramount+ series, Landman. I call it ?new? because while it?s about to start its second season on Sunday, it?s not set in the Yellowstone universe. It?s actually based off a podcast about the oil industry in Texas called Boomtown. Landman also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and a huge ensemble cast.
Ali plays Billy Bob?s ex-wife, Angela, a role that requires her to wear a lot of sexy outfits, including low-cut, skin-tight dresses and bikinis. This past spring, Ali had to defend Angela?s sensuality and wardrobe, saying, ?If there was something I was uncomfortable with, I wouldn?t do it.? To promote the second season, Ali did an interview with People. When asked about her fitness routine, she was honest about how much work goes into maintaining her physique.
Ill tell you what. I work really hard, okay? Im not pretending that I dont, she tells PEOPLE in this weeks issue. Im up at 4:30 [a.m.] on Mondays. I go for a run. Its only 30 minutes. I try to eat very clean, but I eat. Im one of those protein mommies. I eat so much protein all day long. It works for me.
On top of morning runs, Larter does a lot of strength training, but the physical training is ultimately only one piece of the puzzle for her.
In the end, anytime you have to put on a bathing suit and walk in front of anybody, its really difficult, she admits. When I look around, the sexiest women I know are the women that own it. So part of getting there with Angela is owning it.
Once she enters the zone for a scene as Angela, particularly one where she might feel more exposed given her outfit, Larter says, There is no space in my mind for insecurity. Im not allowing any of that into my space when I play Angela.
Adding, I wouldnt be able to do it if I allowed insecurity to creep in. And I really do believe, sexiness ? yeah, shes sexy on the outside, but guess what? Shes owning it on the inside, too.
Larter admits that when shes not filming the show in Fort Worth, Texas alongside costars Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland and Kayla Wallace, she takes her time off seriously. I fall apart on the weekends. I lay in bed, sometimes 12 hours, she says. Im not kidding you.

Ali?s hard work is certainly paying off because she looks absolutely fantastic. If I looked like that at 49, I?d be bragging to People magazine, too. I?ve always been a sucker for celebrity fitness stories and it?s refreshing to hear an actress admit that she works her ass off to look a certain way rather than give the ol? ?It?s good genes; I eat whatever I want!? line. I?ve been in an exercising slump for the last month or so. I got bored with all of my go-to workouts and just fell off the wagon. Ali?s inspiring me to get back into a good fitness routine again. I also love that she admits to enjoying her days off by lying in bed for 12 hours. Rest and relaxation are good for the soul. In the same interview, Ali also admitted that while walking around in a bikini on set could be ?really difficult,? she thinks the key to true sexiness is to ?own it? by feeling comfortable in your own skin. She is so right about that. Self-confidence is very sexy.
Oh, and Sheridan is the new ?it? showrunner, isn?t he? All of his shows have ensembles made up of big name casts. Like Shonda Rhimes, Ryan Murphy, David E. Kelley, and Aaron Sorkin before him, it seems like everyone wants to be cast in his shows.

For the Windsors, the current phase of the Prince Andrew/Andrew Mountbatten Windsor saga is ?look at us, look at how we?re punishing Andrew because we finally understand how much the British public hates him!? The weeks, months and years of covering for and dithering about Andrew took a toll on the monarchy and now they?re doing the most to ensure that they?re *seen* to be snubbing him and punishing him. The latest is that Andrew won?t even have his surname styled in the way he prefers. Apparently, Andrew wanted his new un-royaled name to be written as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. But now King Charles says that there needs to be a hyphen. Note: technically speaking, the hyphen was always there, and none of this even matters.
After the removal of his titles, the Palace is considering reinstating something for Andrew Mountbatten Windsor: a hyphen. When Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew would no longer be known as a prince, it gave his new name as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, with no hyphen in the double-barrelled surname.
It is understood that this was the name agreed with the former prince and the version Andrew preferred. Now, however, the Palace is considering introducing a hyphen in accordance with his late mother?s wishes.
Some historians spoke of their surprise that Andrew?s new name would not contain a hyphen given the ?historic precedent?. The surname, which was created to accommodate [Prince] Philip Mountbatten?s name within the family, appears with a hyphen on official documents.It was introduced by the Palace following a privy council declaration made by the late Queen before the birth of Andrew, who was the first of her children to be born after Elizabeth acceded the throne.
Some historians feel that now Andrew has lost the ?titular dignity? of Prince, he ought to be known as Mountbatten-Windsor, with a hyphen.

Just as an editorial note, hyphen or no hyphen, ?Mountbatten-Windsor? is too long for our headlines and I?m probably going to continue to call him ?Andrew Windsor? or ?Andrew M-W? in the bulk of our coverage. But yes, the hyphen should be there. That?s what QEII wanted, and that?s what Prince Philip wanted as well. It actually seems weird to me that Andrew wouldn?t want the hyphen?
Meanwhile, the Sun had a piece over the weekend about how Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are rattling around Royal Lodge, mostly in separate wings. Andrew has been ?padding around the lodge and ranting and muttering? while Fergie drinks in the custom-built bar and begs their staff to stay with her until late in the night. Fergie is said to be ?panicking about what comes next and she is not in a good place? she is particularly fearful for Andrew as she knows he was at the centre of the Epstein scandal. She has talked about ?dark forces? potentially targeting him.? But? why would dark forces target Andrew? He?s lied at every turn about his associations with Epstein and Maxwell, and he?s never revealed everything he knows (because he would incriminate himself massively).

Say what you will about Queen Camilla and we?ve already said it but she consistently out-works Prince William, and it?s incredibly funny. On Armistice Day, which was Tuesday, Camilla did three events with three costume changes. In the morning, she visited Paddington train station for their Poppies to Paddington event. Then she met with people involved with this year?s Booker Prize, including this year?s judges and shortlisted authors, at Clarence House. Then shortly after that, she and King Charles hosted veterans at a palace reception. Keep in mind, the Princess of Wales only did one event yesterday, and William only attended the palace reception (and he looked like a hostage). William and Kate are more than thirty years younger than Camilla. It?s crazy. I?m including photos from the first two events on Cam?s schedule, including Camilla meeting Sarah Jessica Parker (who is on the Booker Prize committee).
The Queen told actress Sarah Jessica Parker that being a judge for the Booker Prize is one of your many hats as she welcomed her to Clarence House. Camilla was hosting a reception for shortlisted authors, judges and supporters of the prestigious literary prize, which saw the Sex and the City star among the five judges.
Its one of your many hats, Camilla told Sarah, whose fashion-loving character Carrie Bradshaw is known for her flamboyant outfits. And the one Im most proud of, the American actress replied. It was thrilling, especially to be among this group, who are all extraordinary, smart and wise. We had such riches to discuss, and we are surrounded by such wonderful, exciting authors.
Chairman of the judging panel Roddy Doyle, along with Chris Power, Ayobami Adebayo, Kiley Reid and Sarah, spent the past year considering 153 novels for the prize, eventually choosing David Szalays rags-to-riches novel, Flesh, which Doyle described as a dark book, but a joy to read.

Throughout the year, we?ve watched as Brooklyn Beckham became fully estranged from his parents and siblings. The whole thing has been bizarre, and it?s been wild to see how much of it has played out publicly. Brooklyn is a 26-year-old man, and he?s been married to Nicola Peltz for three years. They renewed their vows this summer because they wanted to redo everything since Victoria Beckham reportedly ruined their 2022 wedding. Brooklyn didn?t invite anyone from his family to this year?s vow renewal, and he?s reportedly gone no-contact with his parents and siblings. This has caused ?Beckham sources? to openly theorize that Brooklyn is Nicola?s ?brainwashed hostage,? and there?s significant irritation in the Beckham camp that Brooklyn won?t simply divorce his wife and come crawling back to them. Last week, Brooklyn and Nicola also skipped David Beckham?s knighthood investiture, and they didn?t even post any congratulations online. So what will end this Cold War stalemate? Well, the Mail?s Alison Boshoff has an exclusive about what Brooklyn and Nicola want: a public apology.
What would it take, one wonders, to reunite the Beckham family? The answer, as I can exclusively reveal, having spoken to sources close to Brooklyn and Nicola, is truly staggering. They would settle for nothing less than a substantive and public apology from his parents, Victoria and David. The root of their issues with the Beckhams is the way Nicola believes she was treated, which they characterise as a ?one-sided media war?.
A source says: ?Things got really so bad. There is nothing which Brooklyn or Nicola did that would have deserved this treatment. It is hard to understand the intensity and the escalation [of the media stories]. It seems that they thought they could heap abuse on Nicola without any consequence. They did not let up. There was a public trashing which kept on going. Someone should have told them to stop because it was not in their best interest to do this to their own son, but nobody did. It matters what was written. It seemed as if things were being said without any regard being paid to the impact on Brooklyn. He is loyal to his wife.?
The source adds: ?There is an obvious first step which would be a public acknowledgement [by David and Victoria] of what they did, and an apology. It cannot be a performative thing. There is no realistic chance of a reconciliation without that happening first.?
In May and June this year it was reported that the Beckhams felt that they had ?lost? their son to Nicola. It was said that they referred to him as ?the hostage? and felt she was ?controlling? him. Naturally that was hurtful to their smitten son Brooklyn, who came to believe the deluge of negativity was authorised, directly or indirectly, by David and Victoria themselves. It can be revealed that the Peltz-Beckhams actually blame one of David and Victoria?s closest aides for allegedly briefing the media with ?anti-Brooklyn? and ?anti-Nicola? nuggets throughout this year.
A source said: ?There was a steady stream of stories intended to demonise and upset them, much of it untrue or out of context. The attacks on Nicola in particular and her wider family appeared to be constant.?
But what is the reason for that dislike of Nicola and the Peltz family? One source said: ?Nicola is very pretty, very feminine, very refined and very accomplished. She has a real career of her own which Brooklyn respects. Also her family have more money than the Beckhams. It is an unfortunate mix.?

The ?hostage? stories were particularly unhinged, and if those stories were in any way authorized by Victoria and David, I agree that Brooklyn and Nicola deserve a public apology. The apology needs to be as loud as the disrespect. But it goes to the larger questions I?ve had about this rift at the heart of the Beckham family: did David and Victoria really believe that their campaign would somehow convince Brooklyn to leave Nicola? Did they really think ?unleashing the British tabloids on their son and his wife? was going to do anything other than cause pain and misery, and push Brooklyn even further away?

It will crack me so hard if ?the Sussexes attended Kris Jenner?s birthday party? becomes yet another defining faux-controversy for the tabloids. Like, they?ve only recently recovered from their strained tantrums over Meghan?s appearance at Paris Fashion Week! And now here Meghan is again, forcing everyone to freak out! Doesn?t she have any self-control?? Anyway, the latest scandal (!!) from the Kris Jenner-party freakout is that Kris posted photos of Harry and Meghan inside the party, then after a short time, she edited her Instagram carousels and removed all of the Sussex photos.
Photos of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been removed from Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashians social media posts celebrating Jenners 70th birthday bash.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among the star-studded guests attending the James Bond-themed party at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Snchezs Beverly Hills mansion on Saturday, Nov. 8. Both Jenner and Kardashian, 45, shared photos from the evening with the couple on Instagram ? Jenners social media post included a snap of her posing with Meghan and Harry, while Kardashian posted a photo posing with Meghan. However, the images have been deleted from both accounts.
PEOPLE has reached out to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Jenner and Kardashian for comment.
A source tells PEOPLE about Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, at the event, They arrived hand-in-hand and looked very happy.
Meghan was glowing in a black wrap-style dress that showed off one leg. She looked very glamorous and fit the theme perfectly. Harry looked sharp in a tuxedo with a poppy for Remembrance Day, the source adds, referring to the symbol used across the U.K. and the Commonwealth to honor armed forces members who have died in the line of duty for the Nov. 11 holiday.

This is already being billed as Kris ?snubbing? the Sussexes. But I guarantee that one of two things happened: either Kris got a call from Team Sussex, asking her politely to remove the photos, OR Kris had second thoughts about including the H&M photos and how it would all look, so she just decided on her own to remove them, in an attempt to protect the Sussexes from criticism.
TMZ reported exclusively that Kris deleted ?several images? and not just the Sussex photos. TMZ?s report included this: ?Also, considering it was Remembrance Sunday a day meant to commemorate servicemen and women in the UK, were told they thought it might be better to delete the images rather than push something that could get picked up and misconstrued across the pond.? The ?they? in this case being Kris and Kim. Meaning, Kris and Kim were like ?oh sh-t, we don?t want to give fodder to the drama queen tabloids on Salt Island, we should just delete these pics just in case.? Then again, Kim and Kris know what they?re doing the photos were left up long enough that everyone already downloaded them or got screenshots.

On Saturday, for the UK?s Festival of Remembrance event, we got two surprises. One, Prince William refused to attend the annual event, which is always scheduled for the Saturday before Remembrance Sunday. Two, the Princess of Wales attended the concert alongside her eldest child, Prince George. George turned 12 years old over the summer, and it was yet another event for which he was singled out from his siblings and made to do a public appearance at a formal or state event. I wondered if it was decided at the last minute that George should go, just as I wondered if William decided at the last minute to skip. All in all, strange optics for a pretty major royal event. But according to Katie Nicholl, everything is going to plan:
On Saturday, Prince George joined his mother, Kate Middleton, for the Festival of Remembrance at London?s Royal Albert Hall, marking a major milestone in the young royal?s public life. The 12-year-old looked confident in a suit and tie while standing in for his father, Prince William, who was traveling home from the COP30 UN Climate Change Conference in Brazil.
It was Prince George?s first time at the annual event, which honors the service and sacrifice of the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces. Sources tell Vanity Fair that the Prince and Princess of Wales felt it was ?appropriate? for Prince George, who will one day be Head of the Armed Forces when he becomes king, attend the important occasion as it will prepare him for the role that lies ahead.
?It is all part of a carefully considered plan to bring George onto the public stage in a way that the family is comfortable with,? says a royal insider. ?As second in line to the throne, George needs to understand the importance of occasions like this. It was deemed appropriate and significant for him to be there, particularly in his father?s absence. Both William and Catherine felt this was the right moment for George to be there.?
Prince George?s introduction to the public has been gradual. After being sheltered from the spotlight during his early childhood, the public has seen more of the shy prince in recent years.

And that?s what they?re talking around as well that it was decided to send out a 12-year-old child because his 43-year-old father was too lazy to attend an annual event on every working royal?s schedule every single year. I understand the idea behind ?getting George used to public events in a more low-key way,? but it then begs the question, why not include him during the events at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday?

I have not watched Dancing With the Stars in many, many years. I do not follow or cover DWTS, and I honestly do not care whatsoever about the tacky storylines within DWTS. Call me a snob, I don?t care, I still look down my nose at DWTS. I know it?s a popular show on ABC (owned by Disney), and so be it if thats your thing, enjoy. FWIW, I don?t pay any attention to ANY of those ?popular? reality competitions. Guess who does pay attention though? Guess who is so eager to ingratiate himself with the American audience, he made an ?appearance? on DWTS? That?s right, Prince William. Some royals hobnob with A-listers at the social event of the LA season, and some royals appear on Season 34 of DWTS.
Prince William is (virtually) in the ballroom! The royal, 43, made a surprise appearance on Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in support of Earthshot ambassador and current contestant Robert Irwin.
Were missing you, Robert, said William, 43, in a video message. Whilst your twinkle toes are going off elsewhere, I need you down here. Addressing Irwins pro partner Witney Carson, he said, you need to get him in as much glitter as you can.
Carson then exclaimed, I cant believe he just said my name!
Irwin, 21, noted that he was dedicating the dance ? a foxtrot to Leona Lewis 2007 song Footprints in the Sand ? to his sister Bindi, 27. We are doing this dance for Bindi, and we are doing this dance for Prince William, so lets not mess this up! he declared.
Bindi danced to the same song during her winning run on the show during season 21. Irwin said it was extra special, because Bindi had previously dedicated it to their father, the late Steve Irwin. Theres a lot of weight, he said, adding, because I really want it to be our best dance yet, to be honest.
Irwin explained during rehearsals that he was supposed to be in Brazil for the Earthshot Prize alongside Prince William, but instead, he had to tell the prince that hes still here, in the competition. Irwin serves as a global ambassador for the Earthshot Prize, an environmental prize awarded to five recipients each year.

This wouldn?t be so noteworthy only William and his office just threw a tantrum over the Sussexes? attendance at Kris Jenner?s birthday party. William?s office was behind that Page Six story about how ?tacky? it was to hang out with Beyonce, Oprah and the Kardashians. And then William hopped onto Zoom to appear on DWTS???? I actually have a theory that this was organized soon after the Sussexes appeared on the ABC special about Disneyland. William must have demanded that ABC give him equal time!
