Picking up a couple bags of groceries, Charlize Theron was spotted kicking off her week by shopping at Bristol Farms in West Hollywood on Monday (April 16).
Carrying two paper bags inside two plastic bags, the "Mighty Joe Young" actress went for a preppy look by wearing a striped button up under a grey cardigan with skinny jeans and white oxford shoes.
Theron is used to having her hands full especially after adopting her son Jackson, admitting to the Daily Mail Newspaper, "It's amazing what you can do with one arm. I hold Jackson in one, and we play and do things with the other. It's like he's permanently attached to my body."
On top of tending to mother duties, the 36-year-old actress has been keeping busy promoting one of her latest films, "Prometheus" which follows a team of explorers who discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe where they must fight to save the future of the human race.
When asked to divulge some details about the film Charlize blatantly said, "I'd have to kill you if I told you! Of course stuff happens, but that would spoil the film for you - and everyone - if I revealed it. You have to wait and be patient."
Charlize also had to tune into her patience skills while on-set but thankfully Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender helped pass time, "There was a lot of waiting for shots to be set up and we had some laughs while we were waiting. The new mom explained, "We had some fun times."

Stylish mom Gwen Stefani walked the red carpet with her eldest son Kingston Rossdale for the Story Time Celebration Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday afternoon (April 15).
The No Doubt singer was all smiles as she posed for pictures wearing a simple outfit including a black blazer and high-heeled boots along with a pair of royal blue pants with a matching handbag.
Her little star kept it casual with a plaid sweatshirt, sneakers, and army cargo shorts while he walked hand-in-hand with his mom down the red carpet.
The appearance comes after the 42-year-old was just out with her youngest son, Zuma, on Saturday getting a healthy lunch. What a great mom!

Treating herself to a round of bargain shopping action, Dianna Agron was spotted at the Melrose Flea Market in West Hollywood yesterday (April 15).
Joined by a gal pal, the ?Glee? starlet nabbed an art frame and a large bag of finds, sporting a polka dotted maxi dress and tan pea coat.
During her interview with Ryan Seacrest last week, Dianna shared that she?s not sure how things are planned with Naya Rivera singing Selena Gomez?s ?Love You Like a Love Song? on an upcoming episode of her FOX show.
?None of us really officially know anything. I?m assuming that we will know more within this next month. Because we are done shooting in a month. So, it will be really interesting to see what new shape the show takes, because it has to change, a lot of us are graduating. They have some sort of a plan, but it really got inked I think in the last week or so and then we?ll know more.?
Agron also confirmed that Lindsay Lohan will be guest starring- ?Yes, she is. She will be in the 21st episode, so second to last. We haven?t started that episode yet, we?re on the 20th episode right now and we just started. So, she?ll be here in a week or so.?

In a newly-released interview, Jessica confessed that having her second child Haven helped her relax her parental neuroticism a bit.

I've never been a true 'helicopter mom', but I've definitely stayed awake for endless hours doing research on everything I could do wrong as a parent... She?s been wearing various pairs of printed pants over the past few months, and they are just not cute. They look comfortable, though, so maybe that?s the appeal. But why would you go out of your way to wear such fug, comfortable pants and then jam your feet into too-small heels? Look at Bey?s toes! Her piggies are trying to escape.
Since you guys seemed to enjoy my mother?s thoughts on the Brangelina engagement, I thought I?d share her thoughts on Beyonce. (My mom and I went to lunch on Saturday, and we talked about celebrities the whole time, pretty much.) My mom had been reading People Magazine or one of those magazines and there was a photo spread about Beyonce losing the weight from her pregnancy. This was my mother: ?That OFFENDS me. The fact that we?re supposed to ?buy? that Beyonce had that baby. We have eyes. She looks exactly the same. She was never pregnant.? Now, my mom is not a conspiracy theorist like me. She doesn?t buy into crazy ?theories? about most celebrities. So it speaks volumes to me that my mom whole-heartedly refuses to accept that Beyonce was ever pregnant.
In other Beyonce news, FLOTUS Michelle Obama responded to Bey?s open letter. Bey posted the letter on her site, telling the world that she thinks Mrs. Obama is ?the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman.” FLOTUS wrote on her Twitter, ?Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to.? Awkwardly worded. Sounds like something I would write!

Lindsay Lohan was at Coachella, of course. Because she?s completely sober and law-abiding and what?s the best way to celebrate the end to your formal probation than a music festival soaked with alcohol, cocaine and marijuana? And men, of course. LL was spotted in the company of several ?mystery men? – I?m barely paying attention to them. I?m assuming she?s ?working? the festival, and that she has her own sexy Porta-Potty in which she conducts her business. TMZ has more from Team Lohan about why she’s there:
Lindsay Lohan is telling friends she doesn’t feel she did anything wrong by going to Coachella this weekend — because the judge in her probation case told her to avoid clubs … and Coachella doesn’t qualify.
Our sources tell us, Lindsay feels she didn’t thumb her nose at Judge Stephanie Sautner, because Coachella is really just a gigantic concert and she was just there for the music.
We’re told Lindsay went to a few different events during the weekend and was very conscious lots of people were whispering about her — specifically, that she was in the danger zone by even showing up. The way she feels … she’s gone to Coachella for the last 4 or 5 years so she didn’t think this year was a big deal.
Lindsay insists she didn’t have a drop of alcohol during the weekend — she feels she can control herself, even in a situation filled with temptation.
Lindsay is currently under investigation for allegedly assaulting a woman at a hotel bar, but Lindsay claims she wasn’t even out that night.

Whatever. “…She’s gone to Coachella for the last 4 or 5 years so she didn’t think this year was a big deal…” Of course. Because LL’s last five years have been GREAT. Why wouldn’t she repeat the pattern?
But I have to give the Cracken some credit – in many of these photos, she looks okay and reasonably sober. Her face is not bloated, her lips are? well, they?re still jacked, but I don?t think she got fresh injections before the festival. The ginger hair color is looking better too – less pink. She might have gotten the color freshened up. As for her outfit – what else was she going to wear, people? It?s a glorified tank top, which she?s wearing as a dress. I?m guessing she?s not wearing a bra? or underwear. Those booties are hideous too.
My favorite photos are the ones where she?s strutting through the grass like it?s a catwalk. Never change, Cracken.

These are photos of LeAnn Rimes celebrating her boy?s birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. What?s that, you say? LeAnn Rimes is Jake and Mason?s step-mother and Jake?s actual, biological mother was at the party too? That shocks me. Because the way LeAnn Rimes was photographed at this event, you?d think that it was HER event, and all about her and no one else. Yes, so Jake celebrated his birthday and LeAnn called the paps and they got lots of photos of LeAnn posing in her see-through dress (with no bra? Right?) and flipping her hair and squatting down with one of Eddie?s sons and carrying presents and all of it. And then there were a couple of photos of Brandi Glanville leaving the birthday party alone. Remember what Brandi is wearing – LeAnn will be wearing it in a week.
I checked LeAnn?s Twitter to see if she had gone overboard with the birthday tweets for ?her boy?. I was a little disappointed – she tweeted some photos of the birthday cake and stuff, but it wasn?t wall-to-wall coverage. LeAnn did write, ?He’s gonna be so spoiled. So many gifts from two households, grandparents, friends….omg….and we’re gonna have to put them all together!!! ?. The Mail points out that a big group did arrive – it wasn?t just Brandi, Eddie and LeAnn.
Also – next week is LeAnn and Eddie?s one-year wedding anniversary. For real! It?s felt like so much longer, hasn?t it? LeAnn was tweeting about that too, writing: ?I cannot believe a week from today Eddie and I will celebrate our one year anniversary. Big plans, full two week long celebration. Go big or go home is my way of thinking and we have so much to be thankful for. It’s nice to reflect on the joy and the obstacles you’ve overcome together, especially in your first year of marriage. We’re solid and passing with flying colors thus far I’m excited….if you can’t tell!? Oh? so that?s why it feels like LeAnn has been more in-your-face then she usually is. She?s preparing for a media blitz to celebrate her anniversary. It should be epic.

Here are some new photos of Charlize Theron and baby Jackson. We still haven?t seen this kid, by the way. This is the second time Charlize has stepped out in LA with a covered-up baby – the first time was back in March. She used the same cute star-print blanket too, and I still want the blanket in a larger, non-baby size. Some of you thought that back in March, Charlize wasn?t really carrying Jackson in that carrier thing, just because she was holding it as if it was so light. I mean? it could be. But I tend to think Charlize wouldn?t just arrange a photo op with a baby carrier and not actually carry her baby in the carrier. It just seems weird. But she?s holding the carrier like it?s heavy this time. Happy?
Charlize is back in LA after a whirlwind trip to Paris last week, where she, Noomi Rapace, and a hideous-looking Michael Fassbender did a photo call for Prometheus. It comes out in the beginning of June. WHY???????????????????? Why do I have to wait? Why are they teasing me with early promotional appearances? Why can?t I have new Fassbender photos every day? Damn it. The three actors, plus Ridley Scott, showed off more footage of the film and they did a nice Q&A too. You can read some of their discussion here. It sounds like Charlize?s character is pretty badass, but not in the same vein as Sigourney Weaver. Like, Ripley was militaristic – Charlize?s character is more of a cold businesswoman-type. Over the weekend, Katy Perry was one of many celebrities to attend the Coachella Music Festival in Los Angeles, and she chose to use the event to show off her brand new hair color. However, the element of surprise was very important for some reason, so here’s Katy on Friday in two separate outfits as she made her way to her tour bus. In both instances, she’s covering her head under the guise of protecting herself from the rain, but let’s not fool ourselves into believing that because Katy could’ve easily found some lackey to hold an umbrella for her. She was really just hiding her hair because she wasn’t yet wearing one of her “adorable“ quirky outfits.
Now before we discuss her official Saturday concert-going outfit, here’s the big reveal on the violet-purple hair (with some new extensions too):
Katy Perry can’t seem find a hair color that suits her.
Perhaps that’s because she chooses unconventional shades, like the dark purple color she debuted at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif. over the weekend. The singer, 27, most recently rocked a bright blue hue.
In the past year alone, Perry has dyed her hair black, blonde and bubblegum pink. After Perry unveiled her cobalt coif in January 2012, her colorist Rita Hazan told Us Weekly: “She wanted to go this particular color blue for a few weeks now. Katy is the ideal client because she loves to be creative and unpredictable with her look.”
It’s been a year of change for Perry, whose husband Russell Brand filed for divorce in December 2011. The British comedian, 36, recently surrendered all rights to the $6.5 million Hollywood Hills home he shared with his ex-wife, according to a quitclaim deed. They purchased the sprawling seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom pad in June 2011.

Is it wrong to admit that I actually liked the blue hair better than this violet hue? At least blue played up Katy’s eyes a bit, but the dark purple seems to wash her out. Perhaps it’s the longer length that does so as well because I prefer her with a shorter, kickier hairstyle. At least we know this color and style won’t last long, for Katy doesn’t like to settle down with just one look. The purple is much better than the recent Pink though.
As far as Katy’s outfit goes, she tweeted that “Today’s lewk is sponsored by Courtney Love, virgin suicides & fern gully #nymph.” Nice quirky misspelling there, right? But the outfit itself — a transparent, flower-child like dress, leather lace-up boots, and very visible bra and granny panties underneath — isn’t very flattering at all. Much like Katy’s recent mint-green, butt-flashing number from Paris Fashion Week, this is a very “look at me” sort of outfit.
By the end of the evening on Saturday, Katy added a studded, black leather jacket to her ensemble.

There are 20-million new photos from Coachella, so just prepare yourselves. If it?s dead today, we?re going to be covering them, which is unfortunate because the celebrity photo-ops seem especially C-list this year. Like, Paris Hilton was photographed a lot. As was Vanessa Hudgens. In years past, some actual B-listers and an occasional A-lister made their way to Coachella where they pretended to be hippies for a few days then went back to their mansions. This year? The most photographed couple is definitely Kate Bosworth and her boyfriend Michael Polish. I don?t know if photographers were just following them around all weekend, or if The Bos just has a sixth sense about where the paparazzi are and she just stands right in front of them until they bend to her famewhore will. I don?t know. By the way, The Bos and Alexander Skarsgard were getting pap’d at Coachella at this time last year. I haven’t heard or seen anything about Alex being there this year – did The Bos get custody of the music festival in their breakup?

Amanda Bynes is a mess. Less than two weeks ago, she was arrested for a DUI after clipping a police car. Since then, People Magazine has been fed some exclusives from Camp Bynes, like her father claiming that she ?doesn?t drink,? plus the pity-poor-Amanda piece about how ?lost? she is without a career. Despite the efforts of her family and (presumably) her PR team, Amanda has continued to party and act erratically. It?s said that she tried to go back to The Standard just hours after arrest. And then there were the photos from last Thursday night – Amanda leaving the Marmont, texting and driving and running over a curb. The message: Amanda doesn?t want help. She?s spiraling.

The former Nickelodeon actress was arrested last week and spent a night in jail after she reportedly careered into a cop car in West Hollywood. She was booked on DUI charges.
Despite being advised to remain low-key, Bynes, 26, went out clubbing for yet another night Thursday, following her run-in with the law. Our spies spotted her at the Chateau Marmont with pals before heading to West Hollywood club Greystone Manor.
A witness at the club said, ?Amanda came in around midnight with one male friend. Paparazzi were all over her. She left exactly 15 minutes later and drove away in her black convertible.? She was also reportedly seen texting while driving and backing her car over a curb and onto a sidewalk after leaving Chateau Marmont.
Another source said, ?Amanda?s friends are growing increasingly concerned about her and want her to go to rehab. She has been advised to stay home, but she refused.?
Another source added, ?She is not the same girl as she was a year ago. She is just doing whatever she wants to do. Friends are concerned because she is not the Amanda they know.?
We reported that Bynes went straight from the pokey to the Polo Lounge following her arrest. After she made bail, she was seen at the Beverly Hills Hotel power spot meeting with top criminal defense attorney Richard Hutton.
And we?re told Bynes had been asking for tickets to head to Palm Springs to party at Coachella this weekend, which is featuring performances by the Black Keys, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
Her dad, Rick Bynes, last week said that his daughter doesn?t drink, and she was just at the police station for help because ?she was upset and very emotional.? The actress? rep declined to comment.

Part of me wonders if this is some sort of angle by Amanda – maybe she wants to be relevant, maybe she wants attention, and she decided to go the Lohan route. Another option could be that she is just a really damaged girl who has issues. I don?t know – but she seems more Lohan than ?innocent victim?. There?s a callousness to her refusal to stop partying, to continue to drive while (possibly) under the influence. It seems like she simply doesn?t give a crap. So? I hope she gets the book thrown at her for this DUI charge. Maybe the state of California will force her to get sober. Hahaha, that was a joke. California won?t do anything. The 36-year-old is said to be an expected guest at the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner on April 28, which raises money for journalism scholarships.
