The newlyweds looked like they were freezing as they ventured out onto the street in the trendy Tribeca neighborhood as the paparazzi looked on.
In career news, Ms. Perry has the esteemed honor of being the first female artist in 11 years to have three #1 songs from the same album.
Katy scored her record-breaking feat when ?Firework? topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, following the trend of ?California Gurls? and ?Teenage Dream.?

In a recent interview, Candice revealed the major contrast between her upbringing and her current lifestyle as a top model.
?I grew up on a huge dairy-and-cattle farm, my world of adventure. South Africa is a unique and mysterious place it does have its share of problems, but that is part of our character. The state I live in is called KwaZulu-Natal, one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa: we had the beach, the mountains, tropical weather in summer, and snow in winter. The Zulu culture is a huge part of who I am today, and I feel privileged to have grown up with that beauty around me.?
When she was a teenager, Candice finally ventured away from home. ?I was 15 when I went to London for the first time. I had never taken a flight, I didn?t even know what a subway was there were so many things I had to learn; it was a brave step for me, and for my parents to let me go, but I was so excited to experience the world that I didn?t care what it took. I had grown up my entire life on my farm and spent four years at boarding school, but I always knew there was so much more to see and I wanted to do it all on my own. Do you ever have a moment of sheer, unadulterated joy when you see a completely new photo of a celebrity you enjoy? That?s what just happened to me when I gazed upon these new photos of Angelina Jolie at today?s Berlin premiere of The Tourist. The bitch is wearing a black velvet dress? with built-in gloves. FABULOUS BITCH. Angelina is TOTALLY ?80s. It?s ridiculous. All of her style references are from watching Dynasty as a tween, and she?s never moved on from that point. God, I love her. Brad doesn?t look too bad, though - he actually looks really hot, in my opinion. Do you think he had some fun with those gloves before they left for the red carpet? I do. Mm? velvet dong tug. Maybe that?s why Angelina?s hair looks like she?s just spent the past hour getting nailed, you know?
By the way, when asked about her Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical, La Jolie said that the acknowledgment was an honor and: “we were laughing because it’s the first time that I’ve been in the comedic category so it’s new for me.”
And here?s Johnny. I don?t hate the suit or anything, but I have no idea what that thing is hanging down on his side. Is that his dong sheath? Pleasepleaseplease let it be a dong sheath. As for Johnny and his two GG noms, he said that he is “very touched by the double nomination.?

The ?Salt? actress and her "Fight Club" partner were joined by Johnny Depp as they posed for several pictures on the red carpet - Clearly seeming to be enjoying their time together.
Meanwhile, Mr Depp, who was sporting quite the dapper look, sauntered down the carpet and had his fair share of photos taken by the on-hand photogs.
Making for good reason to celebrate on this particular evening, it was just announced that ?The Tourist? is up for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards.

The ?Snake Eyes? actor was leaving a club with a friend when all of a sudden they started to shout at each other.

I don?t mean to be a bitch, but I don?t buy that Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg posed for this Sports Illustrated cover. I?ll buy that Mark Wahlberg - star and producer of The Fighter - will do anything to promote his movie, and that he?s not afraid of doing some old-school shirtless photos (Marky Mark!!!). But I think the two bodies on this cover are models, and SI just ?Shopped Mark and Christian?s heads in. Because if they actually posed for it, it would be tragic on many different levels.
Meanwhile, both Christian and Mark (and the film, and Amy Adams, and the director) got Golden Globe nominations this morning. Good for them - except for David O. Russell, who is supposed to be one of the biggest bastards in the industry. Seriously, Russell allegedly makes Michael Bay look like a fluffy bunny. Anyway, Mark spoke to USA Today this morning right after the nominations came out:
“I’m just so excited. We just wanted to make this movie, we didn’t think anyone would see it, never mind have all this stuff happen. For everyone to be recognized for their hard work and commitment to portraying these people, who I’ve become close to, it’s thrilling.”
That’s Mark Wahlberg talking to USA TODAY’s Maria Puente.
He said one of his first calls was to Micky Ward, whom he plays in The Fighter, a true story about a pair of brothers and their effort to win a welterweight championship. “He’s thrilled. I told him to make sure his mother and family know about it.”
Wahlberg was at home in L.A. with his family when his agent called at 5 a.m. with the news, which woke up his 11-month-old baby. “It was the best possible wake-up call.”

With her boyfriend Matt Rutler also making his exit, the pair loaded into an awaiting car after attending the premiere of "Burlesque" at Empire Leicester Square the previous evening.
Meanwhile, a recent report from FOX News indicates that Christina happened to upset a number of UK residents with her steamy performance on the hit ITV show "The X Factor".

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Applegate recently participated in a Funny or Die video encouraging pregnant women to pick up pole dancing.
As a result, Scores strip club in New York was so impressed by her performance in the skit that they decided to offer her around $10,000 to dance in their club.

This morning, the Golden Globe nominations were announced by Blair Underwood (swoon), Josh Duhamel (blech) and Katie Holmes! Katie actually looked rather lovely for the announcement, I thought. She?s actually giving me a very Kate Middleton vibe, right? I think it?s the talking out of the side of her mouth thing (Middleton does that too) and the hair. The hair looks great. The face? well, her makeup is good. But to my jaded eyes, the Kate-Bot looks stoned. She always looks medicated these days.

Ha! Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie are in Germany today for a photo call for The Tourist. Fresh off their dual lead actor Golden Globe nominations!! All of you people bitching about it - La Jolie laughs at you. Also - this the first time we have access to photos of Johnny and Angelina standing NEXT to each other. They did so very briefly at the NYC premiere of The Tourist, but hardly anyone got photos of it. So this is nice, seeing their body language. Maybe some studio exec was all ?This movie is bombing, we need to sex it up! Johnny, why don?t you touch her during a photo call?? Anything, please, I?ll take it. What?s interesting is that their body language isn?t reading ?sexy? - they just seem to be comfortable with each other, and to like each other as friendly acquaintances - which is pretty much their chemistry in The Tourist.
I like Angelina?s hair for the photo call too - do you think she flat-ironed it?

The ?Changeling? actress will compete in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy or Musical, though ?The Tourist? doesn?t really seem to fit into either of those two genres.
Additionally, the film has been widely panned by critics, and only scored $17 million in opening weekend box office sales, so the nomination seems a bit odd.
Another surprise nominee is Christina Aguilera and Cher?s new flick ?Burlesque,? which has also received a cold shoulder from critics. It will be featured in the Best Comedy/Musical category.

The ?House? hottie explained to FOX Pop Tarts, ?I?m so proud to be in a suit that was created by fifty technicians and engineers, complete with wires and lights running through it. I saw it being built slowly through the months and then bang it just lit up. But it did take a few hours just to get into it.?
?It was an effort to get into that suit, but if I was a real astronaut I wouldn?t expect that to be easy either. It?s all part of the process, it?s a challenge and that is what creates the rewards.?
Of the film, costar Michael Sheen bragged, ?It?ll be unlike anything you?ve ever seen before. It takes all the technology that you?ve seen in films like ?Avatar,? ?Benjamin Button? and ?Alice in Wonderland,? and takes them much, much further. For people who did see the original film and who loved it then, you get all the old stuff back but completely changed and revamped. Twenty-eight years of technology in between have kind of made everything go crazy.?

In a recent interview, Dita admitted that at one time in her life, she really wanted to pursue a career as an actress.
But in the end, she found she much preferred performing live. "If I went by how everyone judged me, I wouldn't be able to leave the house. There has always been a risqu element to burlesque, but it's about having your own power and doing what you believe in."

Ryan Gosling is the January cover boy for GQ Magazine. GOSDONG!!! I know many of you are over him now that he?s slipping The Gosdong to Blake Lively, but I still have some affection for him. He got a Golden Globe nomination this morning too - and maybe he?ll even bring Blake as his date!!! Good times. Anyway, GQ has only released a few select excerpts from their cover interview. Also: Gosling took his GQ interviewer to Disneyland. At this point, the boy has a Disney fetish, he really does. Once, even twice if your name appears with ?Magic Castle? I?ll let it go - but we?re going on at least a half dozen Gosling-Disneyland references in a year. Enough. Here are the highlights:
?The path of the Reluctant Movie Star has been well worn at least since Brando, but few have walked it as doggedly and resolutely as Gosling,? writes GQ correspondent Brett Martin. All of Ryan Gosling?s roles, with the exception of The Notebook, have been ?small, odd, and metaphysically mysterious.? Even his two latest movies, All Good Things and Blue Valentine, ?do little to alter the perception that he will only do those things that appeal to his own, confident sense of what?s worth doing.?
The two spent time together at some of Gosling?s favorite L.A. spots, including the Magic Castle and The Varnish, discussing family (he comes from a ?family of believers?) and his various jobs outside of acting (including working at a local deli). Gosling says his latest film (with rumblings of an Oscar nod), Blue Valentine, is the best he?ll ever make.
Ryan Gosling on his family?s willful suspension of disbelief:
?My mother still believes in Santa Claus. We tried to break it to her once, but she wasn?t having it. There are very few believers in the world, but my mother is one of them. I don?t know if she?d admit that this is why she does it, but it?s just more fun to believe in Santa than not to.?
?on why he got a job at a deli after his Hollywood hit, The Notebook:
? ?I?d never had a real job,? he says. The problem with Hollywood, he goes on, is that nobody works. ?They have meals. They go to Pilates. But it?s not enough. So they do drugs. If everybody had a pile of rocks in their backyard and spent every day moving them from one side of the yard to the other, it would be a much happier place.? ?
?on expecting retribution from his success:
?Look, this is crazy. I don?t understand how I?m here, living this life, wearing this suit. I assume I?m going to pay for it someday?. And that?s okay. It seems fair to me. I just want to be ready for it. I want to meet it like a gentleman.?

You know who Gosling reminds me of a little bit? Shia Labeouf. It?s like there?s some sort of desire - in both Gosling and Shia - to come across as somewhat creepy/weird, just in attempt to be different. And I hate to say it, but I think Shia does it with more authenticity, you know? Shia seems genuinely creepy and weird. Gosling seems like he?s trying too hard.

Leighton Meester is the cover girl for the January issue of Allure Magazine, to promote her supporting role in Country Strong, the musical that was just SHUT OUT of the Golden Globes (poor Goopy). I know many of you don?t care about her, but I really like Leighton. I think she?s way prettier than Blake Lively, and more interesting too. I think she?s pretty in that really adorable/cute way, much like Rachel McAdams, who I think looks like she could be Leighton?s sister. But why did Allure take such a cute girl and make her pose like this for the cover? It?s so? awkward. And fug. It makes it seem like the real cover star is Leighton?s arm, not her face. Ugh. Here are some highlights from the interview:
On the Chuck and Blair love affair:
“I can really relate to it–not necessarily because it’s this dramatic, tumultuous relationship, but because the way they love each other is very real, and not for the sake of being dramatic. It’s actual love. There’s nobody for each other but them.”
On her former life as a partier:
“We had craaaazy parties, we had DJ’s, bands, an ice luge, a fire twirler. One of my roommates burned off her bangs on the stove trying to light a cigarette.”
On Country Strong:
Meester has a string of promising movies on the way, including Country Strong, a Nashville drama in which she sings and costars with Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw. “Gwyneth’s just chilled out, well-balanced,” Meester says. She’s not uppity in any way. She’s got a family and kids and a really healthy lifestyle.” And her take on McGraw? “He’s a prankster, a flirt. He’ll make up a little song about you. He’s got a devious twinkle in his eye.” When Country Strong wrapped, Paltrow and McGraw presented Meester with a meaningful parting gift: “A guitar,” she says, with a flicker of pride. It has become Meester’s constant travel companion; she’s teaching herself to play and has begun writing songs that are very different from the perky dance music she’s recorded in the past. “The stuff I’m doing now is a little more complementary to my heart and my vibe,” she says.
On her ex, Sebastian Stan:
In her early 20s, Meester was in a relationship with actor Sebastian Stan, who appeared on Gossip Girl, but she’s enjoying being single these days. “I don’t see the point in dating. I hate it,” she says. “It’s wonderful to be in love. And it’s definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it’s OK if you don’t find him and you’re 24. You can find it someday.”
On the supposed rivalry with costar Blake Lively:
For years, the actress has batted away speculation of friction between herself and Gossip Girl costar Blake Lively. “It’s unfortunate when women are pitted against each other,” Meester says. “Like with Sex and the City. People say, ‘They’re jealous of each other.’ Come on! They’re all rich, successful, great actresses.” In a breathless voice, she mocks the male-driven stereotype of the Hollywood catfight: “‘When women fight, it’s usually with pillows and in bras and panties! Gwyneth Paltrow is the January cover girl for InStyle Magazine, to promote her lead role in Country Strong. My new happy place is picturing Goop?s face when she realized that Angelina Jolie got a Golden Globe nomination for Comedy/Musical and that she, Goop, got shut out. Anyway, Goopy still has a job to do, and that includes talking about her ?dear friends? and ?good friends? - because Goopy wants to remind us, once again, that she only associates with the very best. Goopy is the worst/best kind of name-dropping starf-cker.
Is a merger in the cards for two celebrity superstar families? Gwyneth Paltrow thinks so. She and her new BFF Faith Hill have spent so much time together lately that their children have bonded ? in a major way.
“Moses ? we might really become family when he marries Audrey!” Paltrow tells Hill, who interviewed her for January’s InStyle, on newsstands Friday. “My son is in love with your daughter!”
Paltrow is referring to her son Moses, 4, with husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and Hill’s daughter Audrey, 9, with country superstar Tim McGraw. The two families grew close while Paltrow and McGraw were filming their upcoming movie Country Strong in Nashville.
“Don’t you just love our babies?” Hill, 43, asks her friend, who replies, “I love mine, and I love yours!”
Hill complimented Paltrow on her singing voice, which Paltrow says “didn’t have any power or strength to it” before she spent time developing for her role as a country star.
“I don’t even know how to respond to that in your presence, but thank you,” Paltrow says. “You know, last night when I was watching the film, I thought, this is the best job I’ve ever done. Normally I can’t stand to see myself, but with this film I felt like it all came together.”
Paltrow, 38, also dished on her Christmas plans, saying the family of four will hole up in their Amagansett, N.Y., home for some R&R.
“I’m excited,” she says. “We always get a big old tree and go see movies. It’s so cozy.” Another bonus to the holiday season? “The phone stops ringing and the emails stop coming.”

Unrequited love of my life Hugh Jackman was injured today while performing a stunt during the Down Under taping of Oprah. MSNBC says:
Live television showed Jackman sliding down a cable from the top of the Sydney Opera House towards a giant outdoor stage, but he failed to stop, crashing into the stage’s light rigging and hurting his face.
“That was so much fun, until the end,” joked Jackman.
Jackman, later sporting a small bandage under his eye, told Winfrey that the excitement of sliding down the cable caused him to brake too late.
“I came down waving to everyone, looking over Sydney Harbour, saw my dad, the kids and you (Winfrey), went to pull the brake and then boing,” he said.
Entertainment reporters at the scene said Jackman was hit in the eye. Television showed Jackman holding some ice on his face and taking a swig of red wine. It was reported that Jackman suffered a black eye.
Of course, being Hugh Jackman, he plunked right back down and did the rest of his segment without batting an eye. That’s what makes him so awesome. Anybody else in Hollywood would have stormed off the stage, dog-cussing some poor set assistant and slapping over a tray of pastries as they went, screaming about who was gonna get stuck with the dry cleaning bill for the blood that got on their $3,000 calfskin Louis Vuitton loafers while frantically dialing their plastic surgeon. Hugh Jackman has chunks of guys like those in his stool.

With Christmas just weeks away, Mandy shared how she plans on spending the holiday- and it?s based on her upbringing.
"My parents had this weird tradition. On Christmas Eve we ate breakfast for dinner ? eggs and bacon. Maybe they did it because when they first were married they didn't have a lot of money. I'm not sure. But I have kept up the tradition and I'm looking forward to having breakfast for dinner on Christmas Eve with my husband (singer-songwriter Ryan Adams)."

Last night was the big LA premiere of How Do You Know (ugh on that title again), the film starring Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd and Jack Nicholson. All of the stars came out for the premiere, and all looked pretty good, in my opinion. Reese wore this cute strapless Zac Posen cocktail dress that had a perfect fit. I even like that she did black with the touches of Pink at the bust and waist - it?s perfect. Her hair and makeup look good too - Reese knows how to be occasion-appropriate, and she?s got a style that works for her.
Jack Nicholson probably looked the worst out of everybody - he?s gained a great deal of weight since I last saw photos of him. I?m not saying that I still wouldn?t hit for old time?s sake, I?m just saying that I?m worried about his health. Also: I?m surprised he showed up for the premiere, I really am. It must be because James L. Brooks directed the film, and Jim and Jack and really tight. Also: the woman with him is his daughter Jennifer, and WENN identifies the kids as her children, but I think one of those boys is Jack?s (and thus, Jennifer?s half-brother).
Paul Rudd! So, so cute. I like that he?s wearing all blue.
Even Owen Wilson looks nice, albeit a bit horsey. Still: it?s good to see him looking healthy and happy.

These are some new photos of George Clooney in LA yesterday, riding around on his motorcycle with his (boy)friend. Clooney has been in LA for a little while now, which comes as a surprise to me - I thought he was back in Italy, having crazy, kinky sex with Elisabetta Canalis, something involving whips and handcuffs and broken bones. But no, they?re in LA. People Magazine even had a friendly little piece of PR about the couple that sounds like it came from Elisabetta:

Oprah is filming her show at the Sydney Opera House and she selected 12,000 audience members from a pool of 350,000 to attend.
Winfrey will produce four shows for her 25th and final season of the program. The episodes will air in January 2011.

On Monday, Gwyneth Paltrow got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It?s surprising to me that she had never gotten one before - but seeing as how everyone seems to be getting one these days, and the celebrity has to pay for it themselves (or the studio does), perhaps Gwyneth never deigned to do something so utterly pedestrian before. The studio must have pushed for it, I think. A little extra promotion, a little reminder that Gwyneth is completely normal, I guess.
The photos from the ceremony are not good, though. When I started writing this, I went back and re-read CB?s Goop story from yesterday, where CB was bitching about Gwyneth?s makeup job in an interview. This Walk of Fame ceremony was an appropriate occasion for Goopy to perhaps get her makeup professionally done, but it doesn?t look like she even cared enough to bother. AND - Gwyneth needs to stop with this ?no roots? look - it washes her completely. She needs something a little darker at her scalp so that her white-blonde straw hair doesn?t completely blend in with her weak, pale, vitamin-deficient skin. Of course, the problem could totally be the low, winter sunlight not being Goopy?s friend. Something is making her look kind of haggard.
Tim McGraw was there too - he?s in Country Strong. He plays her husband. I like Tim a great deal, but what?s on his head? Is that a piece?

Monday night was the big London premiere of Burlesque, the film that got better reviews than The Tourist (for real). Cher decided that her promotional campaign of crotch and nipple flashing wasn?t getting the job done, so she went old school with a giant neon Ronald McDonald/Raggedy Ann wig. I? uh? it?s Cher. It?s not like you can actually say anything about it without it basically boiling down to ?It?s Cher. What are you gonna do??
But I will say that it?s not the best color for her. I will say that I prefer neon loudness on her head to some kind of ?Crouching Grandma Vadge, Hidden Nipple Clamp? vibe she was working before, though. I will always choose looking at Cher?s head to anything below the neck. And before you Cher-lovers bash me, let me say: I actually like her too! I think she?s cool. But I don?t want to see her nips.
Maybe for the next promotional swing she should try a wig in blue or purple?? That might actually compliment her skin tone.
One last thing? while Cher was working her wig, this happened:
Jesus, Christina. This really, really bugs me. This is not a girl in a good place, at all, and yet we?re all supposed to pretend ?Oh, it?s Christina being Christina, she?s fine.? Does this chick look like she?s in a good place? Really? Of course, when this is the comparison, maybe she’s not doing so badly.

Lavigne told press, ?[Kohl?s] was a great way to start my line and a great home for it for two-and-a-half years. The thing with me is?I really want my clothes to be available internationally.?
?I?m designing it for me, really. I learned a lot about myself with designing.?The stuff I was really excited about [for Kohl?s] did well. It gave me the confidence.?You don?t have to be perfect. These are new photos of Tom Cruise filming Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol (I’m not making up that name) in Vancouver on Monday. Tom and the cast and crew were in Prague, if you remember, for several months. Josh Holloway was around, and Tommy and Jeremy Renner were getting all wet for each other. So? Tom was wandering around in a wife-beater in Vancouver, just chilling out, showing off his guns. When we last saw Tom shirtless a few months ago, I swear to God, his arms did not look like this. Of course, a few months ago I was mesmerized by lovely lady lumps? on his stomach. So I wasn?t looking at his arms. But I still think Tom has spent the past two months doing A LOT of weight training. And I?ll just say it: his arms looks GOOD. They do, y?all. He?s almost 50 years old, and I?m pleasantly surprised that he still cares enough to make this kind of physical transformation for a role.
Anyway, enjoy these photos, because God knows when we?ll get more. LaineyGossip has been keeping her eye on Tom Cruise?s mysterious movements while filming in Canada - according to Lainey, Tom has been keeping a super-low profile, and he is very difficult to nail down at any specific location. God knows what he does with his time? I mean, I literally can?t imagine. What does Tom Cruise do to relax after a hard day of filming? A little auditing, maybe a massage from a lithe young blonde? I?m keeping it gender neutral on purpose!
