Meanwhile, Katie recently announced that she will star in the upcoming rom-com "Responsible Adults." Per the synopsis, " A romantic comedy centered on Baxter Wood, who realizes that his crush, med student Liz Quinn , was his babysitter 15 years ago.
Starring alongside Miss Holmes are Chace Crawford and Sara Paxton. The film is slated to hit theaters in 2015.

Back in 2009 Ri-Ri hired LaRocca Inspection Associates to check out a house she wanted to purchase, and after closing she found a bunch of water damage and other issues they had overlooked.
After suing the company in 2011, Rihanna has been in a bitter home defect court case, though it looks like the judge is seeking to put it to an end.

And while Moyer?s latest project ?The Sound of Music Live? scored a seven-year ratings high for NBC (for a Thursday night, non-sports broadcast), Stephen didn?t exactly win over the critics with his depiction of Captain Von Trapp.
A review from Variety lamented, ?Still, the Maria-Von Trapp relationship has its problematic aspects under the best of circumstances, and Underwood and Moyer didn?t come close to threading that needle. Given the absence of chemistry, one could be forgiven for hoping he?d lapse into True Blood mode and simply bite her neck.?

They?d rather be ?quirky? individuals, and it?s only in their 30s and 40s that they really put some effort into doing the glamour thing.

E! Online points us to this flattering Instagram pic of Cameron Diaz, 41, without makeup and looking gorgeous. TIL: That Cameron Diaz is on Twitter.
Cameron is holding a copy of her first book, The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body. About a year and a half ago we heard she was working on this book, so she’s probably put some time and effort into it. The book is said to be focused on satiating hunger with nutrient rich foods and focusing on health, fitness and the science behind it, not thinness.
Cameron is super fit that’s for sure, but she’s claimed that she eats junk food and has a beer in the morning to cure hangovers. Maybe her old misconceptions make her more qualified to speak on these matters. It’s not like she’s only eating gluten-free vegan food or telling us to drink juice for a week to lose weight. She used to eat junk and she’s probably learned how poorly that made her feel. Cameron’s book is coming out December 31, just in time for New Year’s resolutions.
As for how she looks without makeup, she’s lovely. (Update: I forgot how she messed with her face a while back as MrsB commented because she looks so natural here. She must have stopped the injections after that.) I have light eyelashes and I don’t go out without mascara, so I’m jealous of everyone with darker eyelashes who can pull off the makeup free look. Kaiser is like that, she doesn’t need it. I’m not convinced that Cam is entirely makeup free here, though. (It’s not like she’s claiming to be, but E! is saying she is.) She may be doing that “tightliner” trick that gives a more natural look.

Here are some photos from yesterday?s ?Women In Entertainment Breakfast? event, which was thrown by The Hollywood Reporter in honor of Oprah Winfrey. You?d think that since it was breakfast (brunch, really) and since it was Oprah, they would have gotten amazing turnout. Not so much. The guest list was basically a whole lotta TV stars and not even the biggest TV stars. This should show you something about the guest list: I?m probably only going to cover the Kardashians. Right?!
Anyway, as you can see, the Kardashian-Jenner clan was out in full force. Lucifer?s Homegirl (Kris Jenner) and her two main girls, Kim and Khloe, were in attendance. When I first saw the Kim photos, I was awash with mustard and I couldn?t really focus because SO MUCH MUSTARD. But looking at the photos more closely? okay, I can see it. I?m not saying this is the best Kim has ever looked or that mustard is totally her color, but she doesn?t look actively bad. I would look like ten kinds of hell in mustard, and I have similar coloring to Kim (minus the blonde ombre whatever hair), so maybe that?s fogging my judgment. I think I see what she was going for and I think she almost achieved it. Or you could say that this is Golden Shower Chic. Ugh.
As for the other ones? I think Khloe looks gorgeous, I really do. I have no idea what?s going on in her personal life, but the stress seems to be agreeing with her. Kris Jenner looks like she?s trying too hard to look like her daughters. Gross.
PS? After the event, Kris, Kim and Kanye went shopping at Barney?s. And Lucifer smiled because his homegirl has brought The Chosen Yeezus into the fold.

Back in October, I wrote about some studio in-fighting and drama around 12 Years a Slave. It was interesting to me because Brad Pitt executive produced 12 Years and without Brad, the film probably would not have been made anywhere, and now it?s one of the leading contenders for Best Picture. The gist of the controversy a few months ago was that Paramount thought Plan B should have brought 12 Years to them, per their long-standing contract, instead of finding financing and distribution elsewhere. The situation is said to have ?soured? Brad?s relationship with his long-time friend and career Svengali Brad Grey, who heads Paramount. More on this in a moment.
Brad has made himself into a powerhouse producer over the past decade with Plan B, his production house. I feel like Brad?s cinematic vision is to promote talented directors with difficult projects, projects that might not cost a lot of money but that studios don?t really want to touch. Brad?s track record as a producer isn?t even hit-or-miss ? before this year, Plan B barely made its money back on most of their films. But then Brad delivered the one-two punch of World War Z and 12 Years a Slave, and now everyone is talking about what a producing genius he is. Interestingly enough, Plan B?s eight-year contract with Paramount is about to end, and The Hollywood Reporter says Brad is going to move Plan B somewhere else:
The long business relationship between Brad Pitt’s production company and Paramount CEO Brad Grey is about to end, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Pitt’s Plan B production company, which is riding high on recent hits 12 Years a Slave and World War Z, will exit its home of eight years when its deal with Paramount expires at the end of 2013.
Plan B, which Pitt runs with Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, is headed toward a three-year deal with Arnon Milchan’s New Regency, producer of 12 Years. RatPac Entertainment, the upstart financier-production company founded by Australian billionaire James Packer and filmmaker Brett Ratner, will serve as a finance partner on Plan B films.
?Our company is built on working with the best talent in the business. By bringing Plan B, with their solid filmmaker relationships and stellar pool of talent, into the fold with RatPac, we are doing just that,? Brad Weston, president and CEO of New Regency, said in a statement.
?There are very few partners in this business who are able to balance artistic integrity with commercial viability. Working hand in hand with New Regency and RatPac, we feel we have found the perfect fit,? a rep for Plan B said in a statement.
There were tensions between Paramount and Plan B during the troubled production of the Marc Forster-directed World War Z and more recently over 12 Years a Slave. In October, THR reported that a dispute had arisen because Paramount executives believed Plan B had breached the company’s deal with the studio by failing to offer it an opportunity to finance and distribute 12 Years. In April 2012, a few weeks before director Steve McQueen began filming the slavery drama, New Regency agreed to co-finance and distribute the picture via Fox Searchlight. The film has earned early awards buzz and is performing well at the box office, having grossed more than $35 million to date.
Still, the relationship between Pitt and Grey is said to remain amicable, and the studio will continue to partner on projects that were developed during Plan B’s tenure at Paramount.

Part of me dislikes Brad Pitt?s disloyalty to Brad Grey, who was always one of Pitt?s biggest champions. But maybe the relationship has run its course. I think both Grey and Pitt got burned BIG TIME with the production disaster of World War Z. Even though the film has gone on to the biggest hit of Pitt?s career, for the better part of two years, Paramount was seemingly pouring good money after bad, trying to save the production.
Speaking of, the sequel to World War Z was just greenlighted this week too. COINCIDENCE? I think this is probably one of the last times Pitt and Grey will work together, and maybe they both think they can squeeze some money out of a sequel. Obviously, director Marc Forster will not be returning for the sequel (Forster and Pitt basically stopped speaking to each other because of the disorganization and incompetence on-set). THR says that Juan Antonio Bayona, director of The Impossible and The Orphanage, will direct the WWZ sequel. MORE ZOMBIES.

Poor Justin Timberlake can’t win no matter what he does. He very badly wants to be a well-respected actor, but critics won’t let him be great. Audiences don’t much like the idea of heading out to watch JT at their local multiplexes either. So Justin is forced to earn his millions by “acting” through his music, which is such “an elevated idea.” Not to mention his attitude when he stated earlier this year, “My music career hangs over me like a cloud.”
I give JT a hard time on a regular basis, but he really is an incredibly talented musician. The two 20/20 Experience albums are filler crap or what I like to call “Walgreens music,” but I listened to Future Love/Sex Sounds during my last run and remembered how charismatic he used to be. JT was so much fun, you know? Now he’s completely full of himself, and he’s surrounded himself with fellow whiners.
Justin has kept quiet in the wake of last week’s Grammy nominations, but his team is complaining for him. JT earned 7 nods including Best Pop Solo Performance, but he failed to scoop the “big” categories, including Album, Song and Record of the year. Justin’s producer, Rob Knox, and music supervisor, Scott Vener, couldn’t help but vent all over Twitter:
Ugh, these guys. Justin could have told them to chill out or delete their tweets, but no. That hasn’t happened, so I can only assume that they’ve all been bitching together in private. I wish JT understood how fortunate he is. He’s sold more albums (2.3 million) than any other artist this year! JT needs to realize that he can’t win all of the awards all the time. Especially since he doesn’t even want to be a musician.

Seeking a little natural relief, Gwen Stefani stopped to get acupuncture in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 11).
The No Doubt frontwoman hid her growing baby bump under a long gray jacket with a black beanie and blue skinnies as she headed back outside.
Though she may be focused on bringing her third child into the world, the 44-year-old star is also staying active in the music biz.
Recently, Rita Ora announced that she's teaming up with Gwen for at least one track off of her sophomore album.
