I remember when Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish first got together. Kate had gotten out of her relationship with Alex Skarsgard, and I thought her thing with Polish was just a rebound or an ego-boost. But they stuck together and eventually married in 2013. Once they were married, Kate majorly went off the radar, sometimes from months or years at a time. She would pick up the odd acting job or modeling job and hey, she started some strange kind of lifestyle site last year but it was definitely weird to see how such a promising career just? went away. I always wondered if that was her choice or if Polish was pretty controlling. I have no evidence to back that up, it was just a vibe I got. In any case, Kate and Michael are separating and Kate posted this lengthy message on her IG:
?Do you want to split a burger?? Yes.

The beginning is often the best part of love. Fireworks, magnets, rebellion ? the attraction. The onset signals a wide open expanse of possibility. Split a burger with someone when you are falling in love, and you can die happily knowing this is your last meal. Buy a bottle of whiskey and share shots, pour me a waterfall. Play that perfect song on the jukebox and dance with someone you have known your whole life, though you met minutes ago.
Inherently we fear an ending. To lose what you have because you got what you wanted. To be attached to the expectation of the outcome. The great Unknown.
What if we chose not to fear but instead, to love. If that most delicate and vulnerable last flicker to the flame became another type of furnace entirely. Perhaps this will sound strange to some, romantic to others. To us: this is truth.
Our hearts are full, as we have never been so enamored and deeply grateful for one another as we do in this decision to separate. Together, over the last ten years, Michael and I have chosen love, every time. We hold hands as tightly today as we entangled fingers on our wedding day. Our eyes look more deeply into one another, with more courage now. In the process of letting go, we have come to acknowledge that our love will never end. The connection does not simply disappear. The love deepens, the heart expands.
We know the 4 am calls are coming. Songs will be exchanged to communicate only what songs can do. We laugh as we plan for our next movie together and are excited to share our latest collaboration. We believe the most epic love stories are those which transcend expectation. Our greatest honor has been to experience love like this, and to continue to marvel at the beauty of love?s evolution. What happens when we reach the end of something and realize ? we are just at the beginning.
This is love.
And we will drink that down.

Dang, if they really feel that way, why even split up? I mean, I get it people outgrow each other, the person you were in 2011 is not the person you are in 2021. Maybe you need a fresh start in ten different ways and the marriage is only part of it. Thus ends a marriage I never understood and found somewhat dysfunctional, from the outside looking in. Kate is 38 years old what will her life look like post-Michael Polish? I?m pretty curious.

Kate Bosworth was in Oscar de la Renta last night, in reams of beige tulle topped by a veil lined with pearls. Her styling made her look saint-like and I love it. Shes nailing the look too, she must have practiced so hard at home. I often forget that Kate has heterochroma, where one eye is a different color than the other, and you can really see it here.
Here are Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh in Chanel, and Helen is rocking that neon hair that we also saw on Cara Delevingne and Adwoa Aboah. Call me simple-minded, but I enjoy these direct interpretations of the theme with all the crosses and liturgical robes.
Helens combat boots are everything.

Blonde beauty Kate Bosworth and the hunky Joe Manganiello stepped out for the Coca-Cola Bottle: An American Icon at 100 Exhibition on Thursday (Feb. 26) to celebrate 100 years of the iconic drink.
The pair made their way to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia for the exhibit?s opening night. There, they reminisced about their childhood memories of the classic soda pop.
?It was probably the first treat that I can remember being allowed to have as a kid, and I?m sure there are millions upon billions of people around the world that think the same thing,? said the ?True Blood? actor said.
?It?s just synonymous with nostalgia, childhood ? something very pure for me. So, I?m really excited to be here,? Kate explained. ?I can?t wait to see the artwork!?

She?s always up to something fun, and Kate Bosworth gave a delightful interview in the latest episode of ?Breakfast with Bevan,? a web series from Teen Vogue.
The ?Blue Crush? cutie grabbed some bacon and eggs with her pal Andrew Bevan and chatted about her partnership with SKII.
Kate gushed, ?They really do embrace real women. Like today I saw today on their social media that they wanted women to send in a selfie with no makeup.?
Additionally, Bosworth recalled a Met Gala party when she was up on Bevan?s shoulders and her diamond bracelet came flying off- ?I felt like I was having a heart attack. I got down on my hands and knees trying to rummage and find it. Couldn?t find it the whole night. But they found it!?

I like to check in with Kate Bosworth every now and then, even if she hasn?t had anything going on since 2010. And even then, the only thing she had going on in the gossip sense was that she was banging Alexander Skarsgard. These days, The Bos has married her Skars-rebound, Michael Polish, and that?s about it. Not a lot of film or TV projects on the horizon, but she?s fashioned a career for herself out of being ?fashionable? and appearing on the occasional magazine cover. Somehow, she finagled her way onto the September cover of InStyle UK. How is The Bos deserving of a September cover? I don?t know. But it?s a pretty good cover (I like that they didn?t Photoshop her heterochromia) and the shoot is okay (the black & white pic is stunning). Some highlights from the interview:
Kate Bosworth is talking about starting a family! The 31-year-old actress, who married director Michael Polish in August 2013, says being a stepparent to Polish’s 16-year-old daughter, Jasper, has made her want to have children of her own.
“After ordering pizza for the third time when she first started coming over, I knew I had to learn how to cook because I wanted to nurture her,” Bosworth says in the latest issue of InStyle U.K. “These maternal instincts kicked in.”
The blond beauty says she and Polish have talked about starting a family.
“I know that it’s going to be tough, but Michael and I will find humor in it,” the cover girl said of motherhood. “We’re already convinced that our kids will do things that are hilarious.”

You know how I keep a list of people who are interesting or notable interviews? The Bos has never made the list. She?s super-boring. And I really do think that her relationship with Michael is kind of weird. But I guess she?s trying to be a good step-mom. God bless.
As for what she?s promoting these days? well, I guess she does have at least one thing she?s trying to do. She?s launching the Style Thief app, where you take a photo of someone?s street style and the app will show you clothes that are similar and you can shop the stuff online. Gearing up for an outbound flight, Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish arrived at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 8).
The "Blue Crush" beauty donned a white t-shirt with a brown leather skirt as she and her hubby made their way through the busy terminal.
In career news, Kate just finished the production of her upcoming film "Somnia." Per the synopsis, the horror/thriller is centered around an orphan whose dreams and nightmares manifest physically as he sleeps.
Starring alongside Miss Bosworth are Annabeth Gish, Scottie Thompson, Thomas Jane, and Dash Mihok. "Somnia" is slated to hit theaters 2015.

Getting right to work in New York City, Kate Bosworth arrived on set to film more scenes for her upcoming drama ?Still Alice? on Tuesday (March 11).
The 31-year-old actress looked super cute in an all-black ensemble as she made her way through the busy city streets.
Meanwhile, Clancy Brown raved about his co-star Kate and her work in the action-packed film ?Homefront? to Comicbook.com earlier this week. Brown stated, ?Kate Bosworth, I did not know her, but she was terrific. I thought she did great in her role, one of the best things about the movie.?
He continued, ?I thought Kate?s character was great, and she did a bang up job with it. She?s just trying to protect her son, and then realizes that maybe she took it too far. She pays for it. I thought it was a really well-constructed script with a lot of unexpected but very human and very understandable turns in it. I thought it was really a cut above.?
Clancy also pointed out that Izabela Vldovic was also a delight to work with and was also terrific when she was working alongside Kate.

Kate Bosworth is a redhead now. Hold on. Did you fall asleep just then? WAKE UP!! The Bos is a ginger now. These are photos from NYC yesterday, where she was filming a new movie. Okay, let?s break it down. One, The Bos got a j-o-b! I?m shocked. Two, this is a real movie, and it?s called Still Alice. Three, not only is it a real movie, but ginger goddess and multiple Oscar nominee Julianne Moore is in it. As is Alec Baldwin. Cough. OMG? here?s a thought? imagine The Bos and Alec Baldwin talking about the paparazzi. He?ll be anger-bearing away, frothing at the mouth he?s so angry and The Bos would have to pretend like she doesn?t call the paps on a semi-regular basis.
This is the plot of Still Alice: ?A psychologist discovers she’s suffering from an early onset of Alzheimer’s disease.? The psychologist is Julianne Moore. Alec plays her husband and Kristen Stewart plays her daughter. I have no idea who The Bos plays. Someone mysterious and gingery. Now imagine this: K-Stew and The Bos having a conversation. Damn, you fell asleep again. Wake up!
As for this ginger shade? I don?t think it?s very flattering for The Bos. Of all the things to change about her appearance, Kate?s blonde hair was like the least offensive. This isn?t the first time Kate has radically changed hair color either ? years ago, she attempted a brunette for a while, and that actually worked rather well on her. But I have to say? she looks best as a blonde. I hope this ginger only stays for the length of the film.
PS… I’m surprised The Bos didn’t come to the VF Oscar party, she comes most years. I guess she didn’t want to fly to LA considering she actually got a real job.

Here’s Kate Bosworth at the Guess New York Fashion Week Celebration in New York City. She looks like a coat rack that someone threw a shirt and pants on. I’ve seen more meat in Farrah Abraham’s mouth.Although I am impressed someone can survive on 500 calories a day. That’s a level of dedication not seen since those North Korean labor camps.
