I wonder what the invite said. “Come see that girl that they killed off from that show that was popular ten years ago.” Alright, to be fair, she is inThe Sibling with Devon Sawa and the late Michael Clarke Duncan though also to be fair, no one has ever heard of it.
Anyway, she posed with La Hong himself. Granted, posed may not be the right word. It was more like “towered over.” Either Mischa Barton is a skyscraper or this guy is really short. Luckily for him, his head is at perfect breast level which should make hugging her really awkward.

Per the organization, the ?Black Swan? babe looks way too airbrushed in the image, a spot for Dior Show New LookMascara, and someone complained.
Dior claims the product ?thickens, separates and extends the lashes for an infinitely multiple lash effect,? but the ASA says the French label doctored up the photo too much to actually be realistic.
Portman now shares the distinguished honor of being banned with fellow hotties like Julia Roberts, Christy Turlington, and Rachel Weisz. Congrats on being too beautiful!

There?s a new, horrible wrinkle with that too ? Michael told TMZ that he ?recruited? Dr. Drew for the Cracken Intervention That Never Was. Because it?s not like Lindsay doesn?t already loathe Dr. Drew too ? for good reason. The man is a hack. Anyway, Dr. Drew apparently recommended another intervention specialist for Michael, and that?s the dude he brought to Lindsay?s house.
In other Cracken news, Radar reports that she stole $15,000 worth of clothing from the set of Scary Movie 5. Because of course.
Lindsay Lohan has earned the nickname “sticky fingers” again, because a new report claims the troubled actress stole $15,000 worth of clothing from the set of Scary Movie 5!
According to an insider, the clothes were on her wardrobe racks and Lindsay felt entitled to take and keep whatever she wanted.
“It was the talk of the set in Atlanta,” a source told the new issue of the National Enquirer.
“The clothes were on her wardrobe racks. Some nice tops and skirts and other items were gone. I guess Lindsay thought she was entitled to it, like free soap at a hotel. All the other actors knew about it, but the producers just put it down to the price you had to pay for doing business with Lindsay.”
The source also goes on to explain that Lindsay didn’t like the role she was cast in the movie, and only showed up to the set after she was threatened with legal action.
“Even unreliable Charlie Sheen was concerned that Lindsay wouldn’t show up for the September shoot in Georgia,” the source said.
“The wardrobe people were unhappy about the missing clothes, but at the end of the day the producers decided it was more trouble than it was worth to try and get them back.”

Yeah. Obviously. This happened. The only thing that surprises me is that people are still surprised by Lindsay?s crack-thievery. Every single person in the world should know by now that she?s a crackie klepto. We can beat our breasts about her horrible family and all of that, but you know what? Bitch just likes to steal sh-t. In a recent interview, Rosie talked about her own take on apparel, saying, ?The best style advice I?ve ever heard is ?dress for yourself.? I can?t stand slogan tops or when adults wear Hello Kitty designs.?
?I?m a jeans and t-shirt girl, as I?m always on the go, but at night I?ll wear silk camisoles, leather pants and big heels. I have a sizable collection of vintage dresses. The LA climate means I?m in them a lot!? she added.
Ms. Huntington-Whiteley also dispersed a few tips, as she dished, ?My beauty regime stars with exercise, which boosts my positivity and confidence. Jennifer Love Hewitt has been dating one of her co-stars on “The Client List,” Brian Hallisay, for at least five months that we know of. These are photos of J.Love and Hallisay in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last month, where the paps just happened to know where to find them. They’re also shown on a golf cart, in LA in July, taken by the same paparazzi agency. So the fact that we’re hearing she’s “in love” and think she’s found the one is kind of progress for her. She waited! Of course it would be better if she tried to keep her romance under wraps, if she didn’t pap herself with the new guy and refrained from telling the press details, but considering who we’re talking about, J.Love is to be commended. The thing that makes me think this is straight from J.Love is the fact that she’s reportedly been with this guy “eight months,” which is longer than we’ve heard about their relationship. It was just in April that she was telling Ellen she wanted to get with Adam Levine, which means she was allegedly already with this guy two months at that time, which I’m not buying. She was also publicly hitting on Maksim on DWTS in April too. Anyway, I hope she’s happy and that it lasts for her. (And he isn’t scared away by her three ring engagement choices at Tiffany’s. I’m not making a lame joke, she’s admitted to this.) She’s gone through a lot after her mom died this summer and she deserves some happiness. You know she’s gunning for the ring and babies ASAP.
I just checked J.Love’s twitter to see if she’s mentioned anything about this, and she tweeted “Don’t believe everything you read.” She’s been spotted with this guy several times. She’s just trying to play like she’s not the one telling us about it.

Over the summer, it felt like we were inundated with photos of Michelle Williams, Jason Segel and Matilda Ledger. They were in New York and LA, back and forth, back and forth, and suddenly they seemed like an incredibly tight little family unit. There were even widespread reports that Jason had actually proposed to Michelle, although we still haven?t seen anything about confirmed by anyone reputable. Now The Mail claims that Michelle and Jason are definitely taking the next step? they?re buying property together! That does come before engagement these days, doesn?t it?
She had kept the memory of Heath Ledger alive by staying in the house they shared with their beloved daughter. But Michelle Williams is finally moving on from her lost love after leaving the Brooklyn brownstone she bought with the tragic star – and has set up home with her boyfriend, actor Jason Segel.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 32, and Jason, also 32, have moved into a sprawling loft overlooking the Manhattan skyline, MailOnline can reveal. The Brooklyn property, which is situated in a stunning converted warehouse behind gates, marks a fresh start for Michelle, who still owns the house she first bought with Heath in 2005, when their daughter Matilda was a baby. Jason has already been spotted outside their new home with Matilda.
A source said: ‘Michelle, Jason and Matilda seem very happy here, the building is beautiful. They’ve been here a few months now and they look right at home.’
Michelle and Heath bought their brownstone for $3.6 million, but it now believed to be worth up to $4.2 million. The petite blonde was left devastated following Heath’s death in January 2008 from a drugs overdose – five months after they had separated. She has since concentrated on raising Matilda, who will celebrate her seventh birthday on Sunday.
Despite a few short-lived romances, Michelle – who won an Oscar nomination this year for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn – has remained largely single since splitting with Heath. However, she started dating Jason, best known for starring in TV comedy How I Met Your Mother and big screen hits including Knocked Up and The Muppets, earlier this year. The couple are believed to have met through Michelle’s best friend – and Jason’s former Freaks and Geeks costar ? actress Busy Philipps.
Friends of Michelle said they had never seen her happier – while Jason told Parade magazine in March: ‘I don’t want to have a girlfriend for the sake of having a girlfriend. I have no desire to pick a random girl.
‘I want the right girl. There are plenty of opportunities, but I would rather have the right one.’

I approve. Not that they?re asking for my approval or anything, but I do think this is a step in the right direction, a healthier direction for Michelle. During her Oscar campaign last year and into this year, I kept getting the feeling that Michelle still feels like she?s very much living with Heath Ledger?s ghost. I don?t mean that in the supernatural way, I mean that in the ?she idealized him in death to make him some perfect, untouchable man which no living, breathing man could ever hope to compete with? way. Plus, there was the whole Revirginization of Michelle, which went over like a lead balloon (at least with me). So, it?s nice to see her with a steady boyfriend, moving on physically and emotionally.

Perhaps Emma Watson’s career took off more than she anticipated after the Harry Potter franchise drew to an end a few years ago. It all started with that Lancome sponsorship and then snowballed into several consecutive films — My Week with Marilyn, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Bling Ring (which sounds like a bit of a disaster despite boasting Sofia Coppola as director), and Noah (the one with furry Russell Crowe) — that have slowed down Emma’s collegiate plans a bit. Apparently, Emma really misses university (as do I because it was like a vacation from life) and wants to put the brakes on her movie-making career for awhile while she heads back to Brown. She’s even planning on enrolling in classes for the spring 2013 semester. Really:

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson will return to Brown University in Providence, R.I., for the 2013 winter semester, her rep confirmed to Gossip Cop.
Watson, 22, was previously enrolled at the Ivy League college from September 2009 to March 2011, at which point she decided to take a short break from her studies to focus on her career and to promote the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise, which came out in July of that year.
“As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything, but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible,” the Brit wrote on her blog at the time.
“I will still be working towards my degree,” she assured fans. “It’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought.”
A few months later, the Perks of Being a Wallflower star announced that she would be spending her junior year abroad, at Oxford University. While there, she met fellow student Will Adamowicz, whom she has been dating since late 2011.
Watson had planned to return to Brown once she returned from her year in England, but she deferred again in August to take on a number of film projects, including the Sofia Coppola-directed flick Bling Ring and Noah, starring Russell Crowe as the biblical title character.
Now, however, it seems she’s ready to once again step out of the spotlight and into the crowd of co-eds at Brown.
“I’ve never even been asked for an autograph on campus,” she told the Sunday Times Magazine last year of her experience at the school. “I threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook.”

If anything, I don’t question Emma’s delay in completing her undergraduate degree as much as the odd need her rep feels for announcing Emma’s every coming and going in regard to an educational institution. If I had her money and the opportunity to make a lot more of it, I’d probably take my time finishing up a degree too. Perhaps Emma just doesn’t want to pull a James Franco by concurrently enrolling at several universities and then deciding not to attend class (only to get a professor fired for handing out a well-deserved “D” grade). So yes, Emma is no James Franco, and she’s a lot cuter than him too.

It?s gotten to the point where even I ? a person of general ambivalence towards children ? squeal whenever we get in new photos of Harper Seven. These are new pics of Harper and her mom in NYC yesterday. Look at how long Harper?s hair is! I like that Posh isn?t cutting her daughter?s hair. Yet. I mean, I?m sure that when Harper gets a haircut, she gets a proper baby-blowout at some fancy salon and the whole thing costs $700. But I?m just saying, it?s cute seeing such long hair on a baby.
I love Harper?s blouse too ? can you see the detailing on it? There?s some puckering and pleating on the front which is absolutely adorable. Actually? maybe it?s a mod little long-sleeved shift dress? Because I think Harper paired it with black tights and black ankle booties (of course, so fashion-forward!) and no pants. So this might actually be a dress, which somehow makes it cuter. *takes style notes*
Fame/Flynet says that Harper and Posh spent the day together, shopping in NYC. Apparently, they hit up Prada, Baby Gucci (of course!), Miu Miu and then got some groceries at Grisedes. I think Posh must be having the time of her life these days ? she?s got this adorable baby girl to dress up day after day. This is what she?s always wanted. Harper is her doll! And Harper is a doll. She?s gorgeous!

In this post, I?m including some photos of Taylor Swift performing on Good Morning America yesterday, and some pics of her outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC, where she was taping an interview with David Letterman. The Letterman pics are the ones with Swifty wearing those unfortunate crotch-bunchy pants. Those are awful! She?s a slender girl with long legs and a lovely figure. Why choose clothing that makes your crotch look so wrinkled?
Anyway, I just found this days-old interview that Swifty did with The Guardian, and I just had to pass along some highlights. Swifty is? I really think she?s playing us. She?s playing all of us. This immature ?act? is Swifty play-acting as ?coy?. She?s incredibly self-aware, and while she?s not full-on bunny-boiling crazy, I think there?s a much darker, nastier side to her that she doesn?t want her fans to see. It comes out a little bit in this interview, which you can read here. Some highlights:
Changing for boyfriends: “My girlfriends and I are plagued by the idea, looking back, that [some boys] changed us. You look back and you think: I only wore black in that relationship. Or I started speaking differently. Or I started trying to act like a hipster. Or I cut off my friends and family because he wanted me to do that. It’s an unfortunate problem.”
Capturing hyper-dramatic moments: “There are so many emotions that you’re feeling, you can get stifled by them if you’re feeling them all at once. What I try to do is take one moment ? one simple, simple feeling ? and expand it into three-and-a-half minutes. I’m really intrigued by that. Dismissing criticisms that she?s perpetually boy-crazy: “When we’re falling in love or out of it, that’s when we most need a song that says how we feel. Yeah, I write a lot of songs about boys. And I’m very happy to do that.”
Deep thoughts by Swifty: “I think that one thing I’m really afraid of is ? that magic doesn’t last,” she says. “That butterflies and daydreams and love, all these things that I hold so dear, are going to leave some day. I haven’t had a relationship that’s lasted for ever. I only know about them starting and ending. Those are my fears. I spend a lot of time balancing between faith and disbelief.”
Selling fairytales to girls: “A fairytale is an interesting concept. There’s ‘happily ever after’ at the end, but that’s not a part of our world. Everything is an ongoing storyline and you’re always battling the complexities of life. But what I got from fairytales, growing up, was a beautiful daydream. I’m glad I had the craziest imagination and believed in all sorts of things that don’t exist.”
She WANTS to always ?seem youthful?: “I think there’s something we have as little kids that goes away sometimes. I don’t care about looking youthful for ever, but I care about seeming youthful. Using her songs as blind items: “It doesn’t bother me when people try to deconstruct my songs ? because at least they’re looking at the lyrics, and paying attention to the way the story is told.”
Disrespecting hipsters: “That was the most important line of [We?re Never, Ever?]. It was a relationship where I felt very critiqued and subpar. He’d listen to this music that nobody had heard of ? but as soon as anyone else liked these bands, he’d drop them. I felt that was a strange way to be a music fan. And I couldn’t understand why he would never say anything nice about the songs I wrote or the music I made.”
Something about loving ?hating-idoling: “All the girls who were mean to me in middle school, like, idolised the Plastics. I think I chose that car as a kind of rebellion against that type of girl. It was like ? you guys never invited me to anything, you guys are obsessed with that car and that girl and what the Plastics wear and how they talk and you quote them all the time, but I’ve been working really hard every single day. And instead of going to parties I’ve been writing songs and playing shows and getting these really small pay cheques that have added up and now I get to buy a car ? and guess which one I’m going to buy? The one that the girl you idolise has.”

I know a lot of you threw shade at Swifty for her diss at hipsters and their hipster music. And while I think there?s a solid vein of narcissism in her criticism ? ?Why doesn?t he say anything about MY music, why isn?t he paying attention to me, he shouldn?t have any other interests but me!? ? I also think Swifty?s criticism is totally valid. ?He’d listen to this music that nobody had heard of ? but as soon as anyone else liked these bands, he’d drop them. I felt that was a strange way to be a music fan.? I believe her. And I believe she?s talking about Jake Gyllenhaal ? because that just seems like the kind of hipster dude he is. He?ll only listen to a band if no one knows about it and then when the band ?sells out? (has any kind of success), he will then be ?over? it. And that IS exhausting. It?s also juvenile. And Swifty has every right to call him out.
Also: ?I don’t care about looking youthful forever, but I care about seeming youthful.? OMG. That about sums it up, right? And I feel like she?s basically saying it?s an act that she uses to make money, this innocent, girlish, childlike faade. Complete with a high school boyfriend.

Offering up her free time in the name of fashion, Mischa Barton was on hand to host the grand opening of a new La Hong Boutique in Vienna, Austria on Tuesday (October 23).
Decked out in a one-shoulder sequin-embellished gown, the former "O.C." star happily posed for photographers before joining in on the night's festivities.
The style-driven doings come as Mischa recently cleared up the rumor mill that she and her British actor beau, Sebastian Knapp, were preparing to tie the knot.
Earlier this month, Miss Barton stepped out wearing a sparkler on her ring finger - but she insists it was just a prop, telling the Belfast Telegraph, "It was a ring from Claire's Accessories that my character Shelby wears in the play. I just hadn't taken it off."
"I mean, come on, if I was going to wear an engagement ring it wouldn't be a fake diamond. Really, that's so not my type of ring," the 26-year-old added. "If I get married, though I doubt I will, let's just say I won't be wearing a ring like that."
