Clad in a candy striped top, the “Legally Blonde” beauty first headed to her office for a morning meeting with a few business associates.
Upon finishing up, Miss Witherspoon then joined a gal pal as she headed off to lunch at the Tavern Restaurant.
The sighting comes just as it was revealed that Reese’s ex, Ryan Phillippe, has struck out in the relationship department yet again – this time being dumped by Abbie Cornish.

She’s been hard at work on the set of “The Tourist” in Paris France, and Angelina Jolie had some surprise visitors on Tuesday (February 23).
After doing a bit of clothes shopping, Brad Pitt and his daughters, Zahara and Shiloh stopped by Jolie’s movie set to say hi to their mama.
Decked out in makeup and wardrobe, Angelina took a break from filming scenes at an outdoor caf when her loved ones arrived.
The four of them then headed over to a nearby suite in the Hotel du Louvre and enjoyed a nice lunch together.

Just a few months ago, I had no idea who Cheryl Cole was, but apparently, she?s a really big deal in England. She?s one of the judges on The X-Factor, but don?t be fooled into thinking she?s ?Britain?s Paula Abdul?. She?s not. She?s like Paula, Kelly Ripa and Jennifer Aniston rolled into one dimpled brunette. She?s pretty but accessible, judgy but not too judgy, sexy but still a girl?s girl. Anyway, I still didn?t really know that much about her, but I?ve been vaguely following the scandal surrounding her for the past few months. Following her husband, more precisely. She?s married to British soccer player Ashley Cole, and there?s been a series of revelations about Ashley that make him sound like the English Tiger Woods. As in, he?s been screwing around. A lot. With lots of women. So Cheryl just announced today that she and Ashley are splitting. Good for her:
Cheryl Cole has announced that she is to separate from her cheating husband Ashley Cole. The X Factor star, who has been left devastated by the Chelsea football star?s string of betrayals, has called time on her three-and-a-half-year marriage.
The 26-year-old this afternoon released a statement which read: ?Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time. We have no further comment to make.?
The Daily Mail first broke the news of their impending split last week.
Mrs Cole had spent the past week in Los Angeles and flew into Heathrow Airport this morning. The star wore large black sunglasses and a trilby hat as she was ushered through the airport by two police officers. Tellingly, she was not wearing her wedding ring.
The singer?s silver Mercedes arrived home at 12.18pm, while just hours before, crocked Chelsea and England player Ashley left the mansion in a black Mercedes, with his crutches clearly on display ? while he was believed to be hiding in the back seat.
Another source revealed: ?Cheryl now just wants to move on. She?s had enough.?
Before returning to the UK, Mrs Cole viewed a number of properties in Los Angeles.
These included a stunning Spanish-style five-bedroomed, six-bathroomed villa in the Hollywood Hills, which is on the market at 2.1 million. It has its own 800-bottle temperature-controlled wine cellar, outdoor barbecue and kitchen plus a stunning swimming pool and lies above the legendary Hollywood Bowl concert venue.
The star also visited a house in Beverly Hills but rejected that because she, ironically, believed it was too much like a ?footballer?s wives? home.?
Meanwhile, her close friend and confidante Derek Hough has told a friend he is eager for Mrs Cole to move to the US as he revealed she is ?wonderful.?
Mr Hough, 24, was first introduced to Mrs Cole last October. He then appeared on her one-off TV special at Christmas and also appears in the video for her forthcoming single Parachute, which is released next month.
He told the friend: ?Cheryl is wonderful, simply wonderful. It?s terrible what she?s been going through. I hope she moves out here. That would be great.?
He also revealed that Mrs Cole would be coming back to support him during the new series of Dancing With The Stars, in which he is one of the main dancers.
He continued to the friend: ?She?s certainly making time to come back and support me in the series.?
During their seven-and-a-half hours together at the London hotel in West Hollywood on Sunday night the pair also took pictures of Mrs Cole and Mr Hough?s dog on his mobile telephone.
Just weeks ago, the singer was planning to start a family with Cole and quit the X Factor.
However, now Mrs Cole is even considering moving to the U.S. following the breakdown of her marriage, which will work well with an offer from Simon Cowell to be a judge on his planned American X Factor next year, the Daily Mail has learned.
PR guru Max Clifford tonight told Skyy News that Cheryl’s decision to split with Cole would have been a ‘career and business decision’ as well as a personal one.
Clifford, who is representing two of the women alleged to have had an affair with the footballer, told Sky News: ‘When you are a star everything you do, private and public, has an affect on your career. Cheryl is only doing this for one reason, because of what’s gone on. But when you’ve got two big stars then everything is played out in the public and obviously the public will have their very strong feelings and I’m sure that would have also played a part in her decision.’
He added, career wise, Chelsea and England fans will still ‘love Ashley Cole’ so long as he manages to perform well on the pitch once he recovers from his ankle injury and gets back on the pitch.
Clifford also said he has heard other rumours in recent weeks about other Premiership footballers having affairs, with the John Terry scandal promoting more and more women to come out of the woodwork. He predicted more revelations in the weeks to come. Ashley was first exposed for cheating on his wife in 2008 with hairdresser Aimee Walton.
Earlier this month, it was revealed explicit pictures of him were sent from his phone to Page Three girl Sonia Wild. And last week, Mrs Cole was left devastated when allegations emerged claiming he had slept with Vicki Gough, a 30-year-old secretary at Liverpool FC.
One of Cole’s alleged one-night stands - the fourth to come forward - then claimed he had sobbed down the phone to her that he would die if he lost his wife over their fling. He is said to have pleaded with U.S. political aide Ann Corbitt to keep quiet about twice having unprotected sex with her in a Seattle hotel last July when Chelsea was on a pre-season tour. A fifth alleged flame, Alexandra Taylor, also came forward to say she had sex with Cole on the night he ‘went public’ with Cheryl in 2004.
Meanwhile, it has also emerged Cole faces a battle for his future at Chelsea Football Club in the light of the scandal. He faces a suspension or ‘meaningful’ fine from Chelsea after claims he hoodwinked the club into covering up his philandering. Cole is due to be brought before Chelsea’s board as early as Friday to explain himself. The club decided to act because the defender’s alleged affair occurred while he was ‘on duty’ during a tour.

The Mail also has photos of all of Ashley?s mistresses, and they?re pretty much what you would expect. A lot of them could pass for Tiger?s girls. CB and I both thought that this Derek Hough guy was gay, but maybe he?s not. If he?s straight, I still think Cheryl could do much better. I seem to remember reading that Ed Westwick had a crush on her. He?s good and smarmy, and that seems to be her type!

Making her way back to the UK, Cheryl Cole was spotted flying into Heathrow Airport from Los Angeles on Wednesday (February 23).
The British beauty was flanked by police to avoid the intense media scrum waiting outside the terminal following news that she’s separating from her husband.
As for the breakup, Miss Cole announced her separation from Ashley Cole after many allegations that the soccer player cheated on her with multiple women.
Ending their three year marriage, a statement from her PR company read: “Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time.”
Reports have stated that Cheryl, who had been busy recording new songs in America, texted Ashley to leave the house before she returns.
“Cheryl has decided enough is enough and she is going to divorce him. She has told Ashley to get out of the family home because she does not wish to see him,” a source said. “She has no desire to hear any more excuses or explanations. Grand gestures will not help either. When she left for America last week she wasn’t exactly sure of her future.”

Although there may not be wedding bells soon, Kerr still feels very lucky. “I’m grateful that he’s in my life. No, we’re not engaged. You can’t always believe everything you read!”
And while the couple leads busy lives, Kerr doesn’t let it get to her. “It has been great… it always seems to work out,” she said. “We both appreciate each other and enjoy life.”

After a shocking return, Katherine Heigl’s character Izzie of “Grey’s Anatomy,” may not be sticking around much longer.
After the new mother took maternity leave for adopted 15-month-old daughter Naleigh, the actress has returned to the set of ABC’s hit medical series.
However, Heigl doesn’t seem all too pleased. She tells press, “Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I’m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day, which I think is cruel and mean.”
For now, the audience will just have to wait and see just how long she stays. Of Katherine’s possible departure, a show’s insider tells, “The level of speculation is no different than it has been in the past couple of years.”
Heigl’s rep is yet to comment.

Just shortly after the American Music Awards, Jennifer Lopez and label, Sony’s Epic Records, have parted ways.
The singer’s manager, Benny Medina, said, “Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music Group, and they have shared many successes together, but the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction of her career as an actress and recording artist, she is grateful and appreciative to everyone at Sony for all that they accomplished together.”
J. Lo’s seventh studio album was supposed to come out in April, but reports have claimed that it is not done yet and may never be completed.
While many wonder why the split to her long time label, some suggest Sony let Lopez go because creativity was gone or that her contract was expired, but it is still not the end of her.
The singer will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend as a host and musical guest.

The tennis cutie joined a fellow female shopper as she took to the ritzy Bal Harbour shops for the day’s spending session.
The sighting comes as Miss Kournikova has been dealing with family legal issues - as her mother, Alla Kournikova, was arrested in January for felony child neglect.
The arrest came after Mama Kournikova left her 5-year-old son home alone - during which time he sustained injuries after jumping out a window.

The “Charlie’s Angels” actress looked cute and casual in a green coat with a black top, cuffed jeans, and black boots as she chatted with her teenage girl.
In a recent interview, Demi’s “Happy Tears” costar Parker Posey told press that working with Moore was one of the highlights of the project.
Posey explained, “One of the best parts about filming ‘Happy Tears’ was working with Demi Moore. We are very similar in our work ethic. When we were at Ashton Kutcher’s birthday party, we just couldn’t wait to play sisters in this movie. We attempted to expose a side of sisterhood that people just don’t see. The interesting part is that I’m more like her character and she is more like mine. She helped me with my wardrobe and I helped her with hers.”

The “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress teamed up with the World Bank to launch The Early Childhood Initiative: An Investment for Life.
The Early Childhood Initiative is a $300 million program designed to expand development programs for young children in the Caribbean/Latin America.
Shakira told press, “If we want to build a better world, we have to give children the chance to improve their lives, no matter where they are born or how difficult their circumstances. By giving every child a fair start in life, we are improving our collective future.”

Still battling love, Lindsay Lohan admits that Samantha Ronson is the one for her, and if they don’t get back together, she will date men.
The 23-year-old actress says she “loves” Ronson, although the two had a bit of a nasty public split back in April of 2009.
The relationship even surprised Lohan. “I never really thought about women before, it kind of just happened with Samantha. It surprised me,” Lohan told a UK tabloid. “If I wasn’t with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next. She’s the only woman I’ve been attracted to. We love each other. We might reconcile the relationship, maybe.”
The couple is known for taking over magazine headlines and being on-again-off again."Her family is very involved in her relationships and that was difficult … All the fighting stuff was just because all her friends had got involved and made me an outcast, which wasn’t fair to Samantha. Here?s the thing: I?ve never really ?understood? the Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen thing. Like, do people really, really like them? Do they admire them? Are they fashion ?icons?? Whenever I see a photo of either of them, I?m usually at a loss for why they?re considered fashionable or interesting or whatever. But, I will say this: I have a subscription to Vogue, and the Olsens? clothing line, The Row, is always featured, and some of that stuff is really cute. That?s the one nice thing I?ll say about them, because now I have to bash them.
These are photos of Mary-Kate and Ashley at the Elle Style Awards in London on Monday night. They walked the red carpet in fur jackets, then took off the fur for the ceremony, where they won the ?Style Icon Award?. Ugh. Seriously? They don?t have the bodies for these outfits. And they aren?t cool enough to work that styling, with the bad hair and the dark eye makeup. ?Corpsey? is definitely a word that should make its way into the English language, because it can be used to describe so much of the crap styling currently taking place in ?high fashion?. They look like barely functioning corpses. And why can?t they f-cking smile? Now I feel like an old lady, but seriously! Stand up straight, do something with your face other than ?suck a lemon? and wipe some of that crap off your face!
