Ancient Egyptians believed that when you pass on your heart had to be weighed. It had to be lighter than a feather to be qualified for the trip to the afterlife. My mother has called me feather since I was a little girl and I hope after all is said and done my heart is as light as one. This is 35.

When KimKardashian posted photos of her Halloween costume she dressed at Elle Woods from Legally Blonde for a day I honestly thought her body looked great. Yes, I think Kim diets, works out AND helps everything along with liposuction and various surgeries and augmentations. But still, I thought to myself, ?she?s doing a good job of maintaining that weight loss.? Turns out, not so much? Kim has apparently gained 18 pounds over the past year.
Kim Kardashian West has some new fitness goals in mind. The KKW Beauty mogul and reality star, 39, hit the gym with her personal trainer, Melissa Alcantara, on Saturday evening, and revealed to fans that she is trying to lose some weight that she?s gained over the course of the last year.
?So we?re doing a night workout before my dinner, which I never do ? with this one ? but I figured we have to get into it at some point,? Kardashian West said in a video posted on her Instagram Story on Saturday, referring to Alcantara, who was seen squatting. ?And yeah, I mean, sometimes we fall off and sometimes you really gotta get it together, and this is one of my fallen-off times where I am, I think, 18 lbs. up from what I was about a year ago, a year and a half ago.?
She then told followers that she hopes to lose weight with the help of her trainer, and hinted that they have a major goal to reach before her next birthday. ?To feel good, I just want to get it like, a really good goal weight, and so that means working out at all costs,? she said. ?It?s my eating. I work out but it?s like my eating. But Melissa and I have a major goal for by the time I?m 40.?
Alcantara can then be heard saying, ?You?re going to be 39 going on 21.?
The next day, the mother of four was back in the gym for a Sunday morning workout as well. While hitting a StairMaster machine, she captioned a video on her Instagram Story, ?A morning workout after a night workout is the best!!!?

In August 2018, Kim claimed she was down to 119 lbs, so if she?s 20 pounds heavier now, she?s around 140 pounds? Well? that?s closer to what I thought she always was anyway. What throws me off about Kim is her height she?s a short woman and I would imagine she looks much smaller in person. On Kim, 130 lbs (give or take 10 pounds) looks like this, probably. Also: summer 2018, I actually thought she looked too thin and now she just looks fit. And no matter how hard we fight, we usually default to our comfortable body weight no matter what. There?s peace in that too I work out a lot and I?m always going to have thunder thighs because that?s my body type. Kim?s body is always going to be on the voluptuous side that?s her default.
Also: Kim and her family did several ?family? Halloween costumes, just FYI.

This family pic was such a challenge because Chicago was so scared of Dino! LOL We tried to explain and show her that it was just daddy but she didn?t get the concept yet! So shout out to the photographer for editing her in & making our family Flintstones dreams come true!

These are photos of Jennifer Garner in an off-the-shoulder Stella McCartney LBD at the Hollywood Film Awards yesterday. She wears a lot of black to events and this is a standard look from her. She did switch up her styling a little with a center part, which is lovely. Her makeup is odd though, and it looks like they forgot to use mascara. They tried something different with her and it didnt work.
Us Magazine, which is clearly Jennifers outlet of choice, ran a story about Jens boyfriend, John Miller, which sounded similar to past stories theyve had on him. Remember the thinly veiled shade about Ben in other US articles about John? Im thinking about the line from a story in August that Jen feels like shes finally found a true partner in John. This article is more of the same. John has been living with Jen as hes been evacuated from his home, which is threatened by the terrible fires in California. Hes been so supportive of her since Bens relapse, and hes just the complete opposite of Ben. Hes so wonderful!
Despite the distressing development in Affleck?s recovery from alcoholism, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly that Garner, 47, ?knows she can rely on? the businessman, who has been staying with the actress since his home was evacuated in the aftermath of the Getty fire in Los Angeles.
?They are very happy, and going strong,? the source tells Us. ?John has been a rock for Jennifer, especially during Ben?s recent relapse?
Though Garner has said she will always support her ex-husband in his recovery, a source tells Us that the Alias alum?s relationship with Miller, 40, is as solid as ever.

I get it, Jen wants the public to know that she has a boyfriend and that shes not back with Ben despite their united front after Bens relapse. It makes sense. Its been pointed out so many times that its interesting how Jen is never photographed with John. Thats especially true now that we know hes been staying with her. I think thats Johns choice, not Jens. Im surprised theyre still together as it cant be easy to date someone under the microscope of the press and paparazzi. Maybe John is the opposite of Ben in that respect too, he doesnt want anyone to talk about him.
Heres Jen at church yesterday. Im surprised Ben didnt go with her.

It?s a magical moment for Katharine McPhee and David Foster. They are at the exact moment in time when she is exactly half his age. She?s 35 years old and he?s 70. They were married this summer, the last weekend in June, the same weekend Zoe Kravitz and Sophie Turner had their (separate) weddings. I mean, I think Katharine is a total mess for marrying someone twice her age, but what makes it worse is that she is David?s FIFTH wife. Mess.
Anyway, Katharine and David stepped out for a (relatively) rare coupled-up appearance this weekend at the 2019 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony. This is where celebrities are invited to honor scientists and doctors and engineers and such. I mean? she looks older than 35. That?s what being married to a 70-year-old will do to a woman.
Also in attendance: Drew Barrymore looking like a predatory photographer from 1976, Karlie Kloss giving me preggo vibes and Lenny Kravitz looking absolutely HOT.

Here are photos from the 2019 LACMA Art + Film Gala, held Saturday night in LA, obviously. This year?s gala honored Alfonso Cuaron and artist Betye Saar. As always, there was a good turn-out. The gala has become a regular part of the Oscar season, if we?re being honest tons of A-list celebrities come out to be seen and to wear great gowns. Gucci is always one of the big sponsors of the event, so most people just wear Gucci. Here?s Brie Larson in Gucci. Like, I really like Brie and I think she?s super-talented. But is she a fashion girl? Whenever she wears a strong ?look,? I feel like it falls flat. This gown just isn?t right for her.
Naomi Campbell in Atelier Versace. Her body is still so fking crazy. But she?s tweaking her face and that bugs.
Billie Eilish is, as the kids say, a mood.
Zoe Saldana in Gucci. Lord, Gucci gave her the worst dress. Yikes.
Camila Morrone, wearing a bridal sack dress. I actually think this is very pretty and she?s quite beautiful, but yeah, it?s very ?Marry me!?
Jared Leto looking gross AF. He reps Gucci though, that?s why he?s there. He was probably contractually obligated to be there.
Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault. She wore Gucci. I like this? The dress is fine. The hair is rather big, but it fits the simplicity of the dress.
Kiki Layne in Gucci. Architectural hair with a sequined dress? Real question: is the dress ?plain? enough for this hair style? Or is the look too ?busy??

Here are some photos from last night?s Hollywood Film Awards, a completely made up awards show which tries to be one of the first ?awards shows? of the season. The winners are announced ahead of time, I?m sure, and it?s not televised on any major platform, I don?t think. It?s basically just an excuse for people to declare certain other people the ?Oscar frontrunners.? Charlize Theron was one of the people who got ?honored? (with a Lifetime Achievement Award) and Charlize is the whole reason why I wanted to cover these photos! This is McQueen. It appears to be a sleek black jumpsuit with a glittery, sheer tunic overlay and I LOVE IT. It?s so much cooler than the standard ?awards season gown.? It?s bejeweled!!
Nicole Kidman presented the award to Charlize (they?re costars in Bombshell). The kids don?t realize that Nicole used to be one of the most fashionable women in the world. They don?t know that because Nicole has spent the last decade wearing cheesy bridal-looking crap.
Renee Zellweger was honored for her work in Judy and I?m growing more and more concerned that Renee is going to win the Oscar for doing bad Judy Garland drag.
Olivia Wilde in Michael Kors. I think peplums are over, but she looks very nice.
My nemesis Laura Dern wore Markarian and looked like a Southern beauty queen from 1984.
Sienna Miller in Cong Tri. Honestly, this was my second favorite look after Charlize?s.
Dakota Johnson in Saint Laurent. This was a Good Look.
