Out promoting her new flick, Jenny McCarthy attended a party hosted by ABC on Monday afternoon (December 7) in New York City.
The 37-year-old actress donned a Santa costume and happily posed for pictures before making a speech at the “Elf Party” in support of her movie “Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe & 25 Days of Christmas” held at Bryant Park.
Starring alongside Tori Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott, Jenny reprises her role as Mary Class, Santa’s business-minded daughter, and helps to save Christmas.
“Santa Baby 2” will premiere on Sunday, December 13, 2009 as part of ABC Family’s annual “25 Days of Christmas” programming event.

Gearing up for wedded bliss, Jenna Fischer took a moment to dish a few details regarding her upcoming marriage to fianc Lee Kirk.
Talking to People magazine at the 2nd Annual Fur Ball at the Skirball Fundraiser, the “Office” actress said, “We have a venue, food and music so far. We’re getting married next summer in Los Angeles. We’re keeping it small.”
Continuing on, Miss Fischer dished, “We just got our save the date cards in, and they’re adorable – after many hours and many proofs later. We’re going to hold them until after the holidays before sending them out so they don’t get lost in the holiday mail. They were fun to pick out and [it] was a very fun girlie experience to touch the paper.”
Keeping a close eye on the menu, Jenna told, “I’m a foodie, so I want to have really good food. We found a great caterer and had a two hour tasting and I left so full. We tried like four different entrees and 12 different appetizers.”

Given that Leighton Meester's "Somebody to Love" single and its Robin Thicke-starring music video have been in heavy rotation, you might think that her forthcoming debut album is about ready to drop. Think again. The "Gossip Girl" star still has some finishing touches to play with before it hits a record store near you.
"You know, it's weird — I'm still writing. I'm about to start a movie that's all about country music, so I'm definitely trying to keep them separated 'cause I really am starting to grasp a hold of that and I really love it," she told MTV News at the 102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles over the weekend, adding that she expects her long-simmering LP to drop in early 2010.
"I'm thinking maybe sometime in February or March just so that I have a really good time doing the movie and finishing up 'Gossip Girl,' " she said. "And then I'll have a little bit of time to tour and really get into it and do a live show."
Meester, who recently worked with Lil Wayne on the track "Make It Rain," reveals that there's one song on the album for all those too-cool-for-school kids out there in the world.
"There's one called 'You're Not as Cool as You Think You Are,' " she said. "It's pretty much about anybody who thinks that the song isn't about them, you know? And it's really funny and it's cute. It's really poppy — it's kind of like Katy Perry meets, like, Regina Spektor. It's really cool production and very sassy."

The “Marley and Me” actress invited close friends and employees over on Sunday (December 6) to join her for some holiday cheer.
Among the guests who attended were Courteney Cox, Laura Dern, yoga instructor Mandy Ingber, hairstylist Chris McMillan and acting coach Leigh Kilton Smith.
According to a guest, “Jen’s private chef served guests a variety of Christmas-inspired dishes. Jen loves Christmas, and her house was festively decorated with a huge tree, twinkling Christmas lights and fragrant flower arrangements.”

The 32-year-old singer said it was a “privilege” to be speaking in from of the 400 students who waited in the rain for more than an hour just to see her take the stage.
During her speech, the “Hips Don’t Lie” told the crowd, “I must admit I am somewhat mystified as to why you are here, as there won’t be any singing or any hip shaking whatsoever.”
Responding to an audience member who asked what she wanted to do in the next decade, she said she was willing to embrace “new artistic challenges,” adding with a smile - “And maybe one day have babies of my own.”

He’s still reeling at the bevy of babes who have come forward as his mistresses, and now Tiger Woods’ car crash police report has been released.
According to the report, Woods’ wife Elin was found kneeling over him as the Windermere Police arrived, having broken out the back windows of his Cadillac Escalade with a golf club.
The officer’s notes read, “I arrived on the scene at 0233 hours. Upon my arrival, I observed a black male lying in the roadway not moving, covered in a blanket and resting his head on a pillow. There was a white female kneeling over the subject (later identified to be the wife: Elin Nordegren).”
“Mr. Woods periodically attempted to get up; for his safety, I kept him lying down, using the pillow to immobilize his cervical spinal column.”

Britney’s people have refused to take Courtney’s slurred bait. Her spokesperson Louise Taylor issued a response to The Daily News that amounts to “whatever.” “We’re not commenting on Courtney Love, or any aliens who might come to Earth to impregnate people.” The News reports that there’s a report coming out in a British tabloid from “a female member of the Spears family who contends she can back up Love’s allegation.” Given all the relatives Britney has, some of whom have been willing to talk to the press on the record, I’m sure there’s a second cousin somewhere willing to lie for some cash.
Meanwhile TMZ reports that Britney might be released from her father’s conservatorship. There are meetings going on to help negotiate the eventual end of the conservatorship now that she’s finished her tour. TMZ thinks it is likely to take a while, and notes that there Britney is under both a professional and personal conservatorship. While a court-appointed psychiatrist could possibly recommend that Britney’s personal conservatorship be lifted, her business affairs are likely to still be controlled by her father. That’s probably a good idea considering that she was buying a luxury car a month under Sam Lutfi’s influence. Given how much Britney is being charged in legal fees, I would expect that it will be a few weeks before the personal conservatorship is lifted. Her money-grubbing lawyers are probably going to drag their feet over this one.

Can you believe it? A reporter actually had the balls to ask Madonna, otherwise known here at Celebitchy as “The Gristle,” about her man-arms. To her face! Talk about a death wish. Shockingly, Madge didn’t crack the reporter’s head between her thighs like a walnut; instead, she said that being fit is part of her job and helps her cope with the rigors of touring.
Madonna has brushed off criticism of her overly-muscled body - insisting she needs to keep in shape because it’s her job.
The Material Girl has sparked concerns about her obsession with fitness with her prominent biceps and frequent trips to the gym.
But the 51 year old is adamant she needs a rigorous training regime in order to cope with her strenuous on-stage dance routines.
She tells British TV show GMTV, “(I do it) for health reasons, and for aesthetic reasons. If I have to go out on stage and, you know, jump around in a pair of hot pants I better look good and also when I perform I’m like an athlete and I have to be in good shape. I’m not panicked, I just know what my job is and I know that if I want to be able to wear whatever I want to wear on stage then my body better look good.”

She raises a good point, and no one can deny that Madonna’s body doesn’t look like a typical 51-year-old’s. There is certainly nothing wrong with taking care of yourself, and trying to get as many good years out of your body as possible. But I can’t help but ask myself: should a 51-year-old be wearing hot pants on stage - even if she’s got a banging body? At what point must one decide to age with grace and perhaps leave the hot pants to the 20-year-olds? I’m not saying Madge should dress like a grandma librarian or anything. Helen Mirren is 60-plus and still manages to look sexy as hell - without looking like she raided a 13-year-old’s closet. As for the man-arms, I suppose that’s a matter of personal taste. I think it’s scary, but apparently there are plenty of men out there who think it’s hot.
In other Madge news, she revealed in that same GMTV interview that she is already considering the possibility of adopting another baby.
Popstar Madonna could adopt again.
The 51-year-old star already has two children from Malawi, son David Banda and daughter Mercy, as well as Rocco, from her marriage to Guy Ritchie, and Lourdes, from a previous relationship.
But the singer, whose eight-year marriage with film director Ritchie ended last year, has said she could expand her family.
Asked whether she would adopt again, she told GMTV: “Never say never.”
The star, who funds the Raising Malawi charity serving 25,000 orphaned children, added: “I’m really proud of the work that I’m doing in Africa. I feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment in terms of my career and the work that I have done.
“I have four children now and I’d like to think I’m a good mother. I feel a great sense of satisfaction in all areas of my life.”
Madonna, who has moved back to New York following her split with Ritchie, said she did not miss London pubs.
But the pop queen, whose former husband owns the Punch Bowl pub in London, said: “I miss being able to walk around the neighbourhood. It’s more mellow, laid back and relaxed (in London) than it is in Manhattan.”

Nice little dig there about not missing the London pubs, eh? Considering that her ex-husband owns one and spends a lot of time in it. So, any wagers on whether she’ll adopt again - and which will it be, boy or girl? She has the perfect set right now, with two boys and two girls. Maybe she’ll go for a set of twins, which will make her even with Brangelina in the kid department.

The “X-Men” babe stopped into her local Whole Foods supermarket to stock up on some healthy groceries now that she’s back home.
Anna has spent the past month or so out in Long Island, New York where she was filming “The Romantics” along with Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, and Adam Brody.

Finishing up another evening on the “Chicago” stage, Ashlee Simpson was spotted departing the Ambassador Theater in New York City’s Broadway Theater district last night (December 6).
The “Pieces of Me” songstress looked lovely as she strolled past the paparazzi, sporting an all-black ensemble as she made her way home.
And though things haven’t been the greatest for the Simpson family in 2009, it seems Ashlee and her sister Jessica are finishing out the year strong.
After being dumped by Tony Romo had having her country music debut flop, Jessica is coming back with a new VH1 series “The Price of Beauty.” And Ashlee bounced back with her Broadway gig after being ditched by her “Melrose Place” gig. Not too shabby!

She has always been good about showing love to her fans, and last night (December 6) Janet Jackson made it a very special evening for a lucky girl.
The “Control” songstress was grabbing some dinner at Mr. Chow’s restaurant in Knightsbridge, West London when a young female fan approached her for an autograph.
The 11-year-old girl told Jackson that she was a big fan of her late brother Michael and Janet shed a tear before pulling her onto her lap and signing a book of the late King of Pop for her.
Ms. Jackson was in the UK for her performance on the television talent show “The X Factor” earlier in the evening.

They’re always up for a charitable cause, and last night (December 6) Kim and Khloe Kardashian showed up at the Cracked Christmas Gala to benefit The Trevor Project.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babes looked lovely as they arrived at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, taking time to pose for the paparazzi before heading inside.
And though Kim has been looking more fit than ever lately, Khloe says she’s been struggling with her weight a bit since getting married.
She explained, “Kim is at her weight goal. I’m not. I’ve gained a little love weight. But I know by this summer I will have my ultimate bikini body. But I’m still happy!”

One of my favorite things in the world is when a celebrity denies having plastic surgery when it?s obvious to the legally blind that the celebrity?s face is jacked to hell. I can?t help it - it?s like Christmas come early. Along with the plastic surgery denials, I love when an actress pontificates on aging gracefully when it?s obvious she has no intention of doing any such thing.
Nicole Kidman has done both - she?s denied having plastic surgery in the past, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, and now, in a new People Magazine interview, she?s positively rapturous about aging naturally. Maybe I?m going overboard - because, in fact, when Nicole was asked ?How do you cope working in an industry that refuses to let women age naturally and gracefully??, Nicole answers: ?Well, I live in Tennessee so it is slightly different than living in L.A. I just worked with Sophia Loren [in Nine], and she is so gorgeous and she has such grace. I use her as a role model.? So maybe I?m being too harsh. But I still laughed out loud when I read that.
When Nicole Kidman agreed to answer PEOPLE’s reader questions, little did she know she’d be quizzed on her cooking skills (not great, she admits) or to reveal her biggest quirk (she loves coffee ? but mostly foam).
But the Oscar-winning actress, 42, who plans on spending the holidays Down Under, was happy to open up about her life in Nashville while doing press in New York City for her upcoming movie musical Nine, which opens in theaters Christmas Day.
As for husband Keith Urban’s whereabouts? The country star played dutiful husband, watching the Tennessee Titans in the adjoining room while his movie star wife answered your questions.

She now points at anything and goes, ‘Bug.’ That’s her word. We were in the hotel room the other day, and there was a little sprinkler up in the corner of the room. She kept pointing at it and going ‘bug!’ Keith had to hold her up and prove to her that it wasn’t a bug.

Strangely enough, I love putting clothes in the washing machine. I would always do the washing growing up ? that was one of my jobs. And I quite like ironing shirts.

Keith and I love coffee. I love the foam more than the coffee. I will go and order a cappuccino and say, make it all foam and very little coffee. They know me now at the Starbucks in Nashville.

I think a lot of it has to do with just getting comfortable in my own skin. That’s part of getting older. It’s okay to be 5 ft. 11 in. and all of the things that I used to feel awkward about. I now feel comfortable. A lot of that comes with being loved.

Call my crazy, but I kind of dig the new act Nicole is trying to sell - that of the Nashville housewife who gives interviews about doing laundry and cooking. But it does seem boring for Nicole, doesn?t it? I mean, she must miss the days where she was donning a goddess gown every other day. Her role in Nine is a big comeback, in a way. It?s not that her last film, Australia, sucked at the box office? I think it basically made it?s money back and not much else, so it was considered a financial loss. Which is better than some of Nicole?s projects the past few years - so if Nine is a big hit (which I think it will be), Nicole will get some of the credit. And with that, comes more film roles. So she won?t have to sit around Nashville pretending to love cooking chicken.

Dutifully tending to her little girl’s needs, Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted arriving for a doctor’s appointment in Brentwood, California on Sunday afternoon (December 6).
Joined by a nanny, the “Buffy” babe made sure to keep daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze hidden underneath Pink blankets before passing by paparazzi and inside for the medical checkup.
Having given birth to Charlotte in mid-September, Gellar previously said of parenthood, “Becoming a parent is the most selfless act, and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child. I don’t know if you know how to that when you’re in your 20s.”

Getting into the holiday spirit, Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman took their son Max out Christmas tree shopping in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (December 6).
All bundled up for the chilly weather, the happy family mingled with staff workers and greeted a few roaming pooches as they hand picked their season’s tree after wandering the grounds.
Meanwhile, Christina has been getting back into work mode - as she’s reportedly working on a new album due out next year.
Of the effort, producer/songwriter Tricky Stewart told Vibe, “With Christina it’s a little different, because Christina wants music that you haven’t heard before. She did things that she’s never necessarily heard on the radio. She doesn’t want a record that sounds like anything else so you’re trying to create an entirely new sound for an artist.”
Tricky added, “The three tracks that I did, they’re all uptempo tracks so we definitely kind of get the club moving but it’s just a matter of her doing different styles and using her voice in different ways.”

Teaming up for a good cause, Eva Longoria and Kirsten Dunst participated in the annual Telethon for Rehabilitation Centers for Children in Mexico City, Mexico over the weekend.
The “Desperate Housewives” actress and the “Spiderman” sweetheart were all smiles as they helped raise money for disabled children, joining fellow participants including the Black Eyed Peas, Shaila Durcal and Alejandro Fernandez.
During the course of their stay, Eva and Kirsten also took time to visit one of the Rehabilitation Centers for Children - greeting personnel and residents as they signed autographs and posed for pictures.
Having flown down south after opening up a new Beso restaurant in Las Vegas on Friday, Miss Longoria is surely enjoying the cuisine during her helpful visit to Mexico City, as she told press, “Anytime there is Mexican food around, you can bet I’ll be eating it. I’m not a chocolate person and I’m not into sweets. I’m a meal person.”
