Blue Ivy Carter is only seven years old. It feels like she?s always been here, judging us for being peasants and worrying about how we?re all completely uncool. Blue Ivy Carter has already achieved so much in her seven years: she?s a fashionista, a songwriter, a singer, a model, an actress, a dancer and a teacher. She teaches her parents to be better, to do better. She single-handedly saved not one but TWO Grammy telecasts. Do I need to say it? Does Beyonce need to say it? Blue Ivy is already an icon. Beyonce said it too! Beyonce has been suing a wedding planner whose business is called ?Blue Ivy.? It?s all about who owns the name Blue Ivy/Blue Ivy Carter. I?ll let The Blast explain:
Beyonc is laying down the law in the battle with a wedding planner over ?Blue Ivy?, calling her daughter a ?cultural icon? in court documents. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Beyonc is firing back at the Veronica Morales over in the trademark battle for ?Blue Ivy?. Beyonc and Morales have been locked in a dispute over the trademark for years. Bey has been trying to get the trademark to her daughter?s name, but Morales claims she had already been using it. They are scheduled to head to trial in the case.
In the newly filed documents, Beyonc argues her case for being granted the trademark. She even throws a little shade towards Morales in the process. Beyonc says Morales claim that, ?that consumers are likely to be confused between a boutique wedding event planning business and Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of two of the most famous performers in the world, is frivolous and should be refused in its entirety.? Beyonc points out her trademark application is for ?Blue Ivy Carter? NOT ?Blue Ivy?.
She says, ?the presence of the word ?CARTER? ties the commercial impression of BGK?s Mark to the celebrity Blue Ivy Carter rather than Opposer?s regional event planning business.? Beyonc says Morales runs a ?small business, with just three regional offices and a handful of employees?, with weak online presence and poorly subscribed social media accounts.
She accuses Morales of having, ?exhibited a pattern and practice of affirmatively attempting to connect its brand with Blue Ivy Carter to increase its exposure and drum up business.? Bey points to interviews Morales gave following her daughter?s birth. In the radio interviews, she talked about her business receiving more attention. She even admitted reaching out to Beyonc?s agent. Beyonc says Morales also had a sale on Blue Ivy?s birthday.

I mean? this woman already had a business named Blue Ivy when Beyonce and Jay-Z named their daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Do I believe that Bey should be able to trademark her daughter?s name? For sure. But I also believe that Beyonce shouldn?t go around suing people for naming their business something years before Beyonce wanted the name for one of her children. All that being said, I?m glad that everyone acknowledges that Blue Ivy Carter is a cultural icon. Think of it this way: none of us will ever be as cool as Blue Ivy. Period, the end.

Here are some photos of Natalie Portman and Jon Hamm at the LA premiere of Lucy In the Sky, the movie which is loosely based on the 2007 incident where astronaut Lisa Nowak went bonkers and drove halfway across the country to kidnap and possibly kill a woman she thought was her love rival. From what I understand, the film did not buy the life rights to Lisa Nowak?s story or anything like that, so that?s why the names have been changed and the circumstances tweaked a bit.
Regarding fashion? I was surprised to see Natalie in something so skimpy? She has a great figure, but she?s been doing a lot of menswear-inspired looks and more conservative gowns and such for the past several years. I feel like she was aiming for a ?sultry? look and I?m just not sure that?s her best style vibe. It also doesn?t help that she and her co-star Jon Hamm posed together on the red carpet like this was the first time they ever met. I get that it?s more respectful in the era of Time?s Up, for sure to keep your hands to yourself around your coworkers. But the body language between Hamm and Portman is? odd.
As for the actual story about an astronaut having a mental breakdown? Lisa Nowak?s story really did capture a ton of media interest, and one of the most notable details is that Nowak wore adult diapers for her drive to kidnap her ?love rival.? When Lucy In the Sky premiered at TIFF several weeks back, critics were SO MAD that the movie didn?t include the diaper detail. I seriously don?t know why the writers/director/producer would leave that out. Nowak?s story was begging for a film adaptation just because it was so bizarre and cinematic anyway, and then they?re leaving out the one part of the story which everyone remembers. WHY?

Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, who played Pam Beasley and Angela Martin on the American version of The Office, are launching an Office-based podcast called Office Ladies. When I first heard this, I wondered if we really needed an Office-themed podcast but reading what the show will actually entail, I can see the attraction. Jenna and Angela will watch old Office episodes and give behind-the-scene stories and secrets from that particular episode. I love behind-the-scene stories, I always skip to the commentary extra on the DVD (dated reference, I realize) so I might check this out.
The ?Office Ladies? are back!
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, The Office alums and real-life BBFs Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey are getting candid about their upcoming and highly anticipated Office-themed podcast, Office Ladies, which will delve into behind-the-scenes stories about Pam Beesly, Angela Martin, Jim Halpert (John Krasinski), Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) and the rest of the Dunder Mifflin gang.
?We?ve been wanting to work together again ever since we stopped working together,? Fischer, 45, tells PEOPLE. ?Angela and I became best friends because we were cast on The Office together, we worked together and saw each other every day. I think the hardest part for me about it ending was that I didn?t get to see my best friend every day anymore.?
?We just said, ?You know, next year is the 15th anniversary of the show and this seems like a really fun time to share our memories. How could we do that?? And that?s how we came up with the idea of the podcast,? she adds.
Although Kinsey, 48, admits that they ?don?t consider ourselves the experts on The Office in anyway,? they are open to discussing what audiences are eager to have answered. ?The fans are more experts than we are, so we are going to be looking for questions. We want to talk about the things that people want to know about.?

The fact that these two created Office Ladies just so they could hang out again is fun. Why not get paid doing the thing you love, like gabbing with your best friend. And I 100% believe that the fans know more than they do. Devoted fans of a show treat it like a research project. In truth, letting fans show off their knowledge will probably be the best way to honor them, they?ve really thought this concept through. It?s also a great tie in to NBC/Universal?s Peacock?s acquisition of The Office, I?ll bet they got some cross-promotion cash for this. The idea sounds cute. They?ve released a trailer to promote the October 16th launch. It tells a behind-the-scene story that involved how they did a vomiting scene, the technical aspect of which I found kind of interesting. But they need to work on sounding more relaxed because right now, their ?off-the-cuff? banter sounds very scripted. ?I have a story, do you know this story?? ?I do not know that story, please tell me the story. OMG, that story!? Once they become less conscious of the fact they?re taping, I?ll bet the flow becomes more relaxed. (For a good example of a relaxed flow with camaraderie coming across, may I suggest Gossip with Celebitchy with CB and Kaiser.) Jenna posted this little teaser to IG, it?s better.
In addition, Jenna and Angela said they?ll host former co-stars as guests. That will be fun to hear, there were many very talented people on that show and fans will be clamoring to hear them relive their time on The Office. And this cast in particular have truly stayed in touch so I don?t think it will be hard for Jenna and Angela to get them to come on.

I know it didn?t get great reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the sequel to Jurassic World which came out last summer. It had giant dinosaurs, lots of bad guys getting eaten (spoilers), a giant mansion being destroyed, and plenty of action. I love a stupid action movie as long as it doesn?t take itself too seriously. I?m not convinced Chris Pratt is a suitable action star, but that?s another issue. I thought Fallen Kingdom delivered, but my friends didnt like it as much as I did. Theres casting news for the third Jurassic World, which is coming out in 2021. The scientists featured in the original 1993 movie (and the forgettable sequels), Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, will return! Goldblum did have a cameo in Fallen Kingdom but it may have just been a setup for this third film. In this one, all three scientists will have major roles according to director Colin Trevorrow.
For Jurassic World 3, Universal Pictures will bring back original Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum to star alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, sources said. Colin Trevorrow is back to direct and production starts early next year.
Dern moments ago revealed her participation in the film, as well as Neill?s and Goldblum?s returns, at a fan screening tonight of Battle at Big Rock, an eight-minute short film that Trevorrow directed and showed tonight, featuring dinosaurs running amuck after they?ve escaped to the real world. The last Jurassic World, directed by J.A. Bayona, ended with the revived beasts finding their way off the island and into civilization, so it might well be where the next installment of the film goes.

I was just trying to remember what Ive seen Sam Neill in recently and it was the excellent Taika Waititi-created film Hunt for the Wilderpeople, which was hilarious and heartwarming. It costarred a teen actor from New Zealand named Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2). Its on Hulu if youre looking for something to watch this weekend! Getting back to this news, Im going to see this in theaters definitely and Im excited that Laura Dern and Sam Neill are coming back! I got to rewatch Jurassic Park several times over the past couple of years as my son discovered it and loved it. The two sequels to the original, which came out in 1997 and 2001, are not good. Maybe people will say the same about these but Ill still see them! Then again, I loved The Meg, Skyscraper and Rampage.
