Stepping out for a social call, Ryan Reynolds showed up at Kiwami restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (December 18).

If you’re new-ish to celebrity gossip and find yourself baffled as to why we dislike Jenny McCarthy, you can read these three stories for background. She trashed her ex boyfriend, Jim Carrey, for not visiting her son after their breakup, even though the boy is not Carrey’s biological son, and even though Carrey reportedly gave her a nice cash settlement (which was unnecessary, they weren’t married). Plus she regularly says things just to be shocking. I guess that’s how she’s always been and that’s how she’s carved a career for herself.
In the January 2013 issue of Shape Magazine, Jenny reveals her incredible bikini body and her secrets for staying slim. She also announces that she’s going to have her own talk show on VH1. We’ve heard rumors in the past couple of years that Jenny was shopping some kind of talkshow, and that she was potentially going to get a deal on Oprah’s network. (That fell through, although it’s probably to Jenny’s benefit since no one watches that network anyway.) Now it’s really happening, and she’s going to find a home on the network with the trashiest of the trash shows. (Although that’s arguably TLC, not VH1.)
Jenny McCarthy is single and she?s hoping that when she launches her upcoming VH1 talk show next year, a certain leading man comes by the couch ? Bradley Cooper.
?He?s my number-one crush,? Jenny told Shape magazine, which features the 40-year-old celeb showing off her toned midriff on its January 2013 cover. ?I?m hoping he?ll be a guest on my show.?
Jenny is currently single, and she told the mag she is focusing on ?me? time.
?I?ve gone on some dates, but I?m really taking a time-out for me at the moment,? she told Shape. ?One thing I realized in my past relationships is that I?m the best damn girlfriend ever. I put so much energy into my boyfriends and their needs. If I gave myself that same kind of attention, who knows where I?d be at my life at this point? So for now, I?m putting everything I?ve got into my talk show and being a great mom.?
As for that TV talker ? ?The Jenny McCarthy Show? ? which is coming to VH1, Jenny said it will showcase all sides of her personality.
?I?m scared and excited about it at the same time,? she said.
?Because it?s for an adult audience, the producers are giving me free rein and have asked me to push the envelope, I get to be my true, dirty self,? she added.
Jenny heads into her talk show looking better than ever, the result of a gluten and dairy free diet.
?That?s the best health change I?ve ever made,? she said. ?I lost a few pounds and have much more energy. My new favorite thing is my soup diet. I make a ton of nutritious ones, like butternut squash and vegetable. When I want to drop 5 pounds quickly, I eat them for every meal for about 10 days.?

Jenny has revealed her crush on Bradley Cooper before, which is strange to me. I can’t imagine anyone getting hot for that guy. I feel like she just picked some random actor who doesn’t get any love and decided to declare a crush so that the media would take notice. I don’t get Bradley Cooper’s appeal. Someone must though since he was People’s sexiest last year.
As for her soup diet I’ve heard her say that before. She said she has Montel Williams’ Health Master blender and she makes the soups in there. (You can use it to heat and everything due to how fast the blades are.) I have a Vitamix and have only made soup in it about twice. I usually use it for smoothies for breakfast. I wonder if I could do this soup diet or if it would drive me crazy. After lunch of just soup on the first day I would be grabbing a roll and scarfing it down, I doubt I could go without solid food for so long like that.

LeAnn Rimes was a guest on the Tonight Show last night, and Jay Leno fed her softball after softball, so don?t go into this video thinking that anyone is actually trying to get at the universal truth of LeAnn Rimes. I was trying to watch the whole interview before I wrote about it, but I got stuck on the part where she discusses her ?30 day treatment? and I couldn?t stop rolling my eyes and muttering ?O RLY?? For the record, LeAnn might have sought treatment in some sort of facility at some point right after her 30th birthday in September. But she DID NOT stay in a facility for 30 continuous days. She took ?weekends off? AND she was ?done? with her program (if it was a program?) after three weeks or less. I don?t understand why she?s still pushing this story about how she went into a 30-day treatment (for anxiety and Twitter) when there’s proof that she just spent a few weeks at a rehab/spa (with weekends off).
As for LeAnn?s comments about Brandi, Jay asks her about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and LeAnn says: “There’s no ‘reality’ in reality show? Here’s the therapy coming out of me. I should feel flattered that she thinks I’m so interesting that I can be a storyline in her show.” That comment came just SECONDS after LeAnn had uncomfortably and awkwardly explained her song ?Borrowed? about how she homewrecked Brandi?s marriage and how ?awful? she felt about that. So, I guess the message is that we should have sympathy for LeAnn because she did something terrible and she feels bad about it and she wrote a song about it, but we should hate Brandi because she?s on a reality show in which drama is manufactured? Ugh.

Merry Christmas! Here?s some Paris Hilton. I know, I know ? it?s not the ideal Christmas gift. Which would you rather get for Christmas: Paris Hilton photos or three-year-old fruitcake? Anyway, these are some new pics of Paris Hilton and her relatively new (!) boyfriend River Viiperi in Aspen, Colorado yesterday. Did you know that she had a new guy? All of Paris?s boyfriends over the past four years or so have sort blended together in a gross, meathead, druggie stew, so imagine my surprise when I saw this guy.
Does anyone else think he looks? really young? That?s because he IS young. He?s only 21 years old!!! He?s practically a baby, especially when compared to Paris, who is 31 in human years and 53 in druggie-socialite-famewhore years. The thing that I always wonder about Paris is how does she manage to always have a (douche-y) boyfriend? I mean, she?s never just single. She?s always got an ?official?. I would have thought that all dudes ? even the dumb meatheads ? would be wary of her now. But we have our answer: I doubt that 21-year-old River really comprehends Paris?s falling star. Oh, and he?s Spanish too. Double-whammy of not comprehending how Paris is a big loser.
Paris and River began dating a few months ago, from what I can see. They just travel around to various celebrity hot spots and they?re constantly on vacation. Miami, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and now Aspen. Obviously, Paris has the money to live like that, but what about River? Well, he?s a male model. Oh God? I just looked up some of his modeling shots. YIKES. This boy isn?t going to have much of a career. He has that baby-faced Twihardy look that tweens like, but beyond that? not so much.

These are some photos of CoCo Austin (wife of Ice-T, star of Ice Loves Coco) in Las Vegas two nights ago. The photos of CoCo in the white dress are for her press photos before her show. The photos (at the end of the post) of CoCo in some kind of bra and panties and fishnets ensemble are from her actual show, her gig playing ?Bo Peep? in Peepshow at Las Vegas?s Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. The photos are technically SFW, but just know that there?s a whole lotta CoCo going on.
Coco spoke to Vegas.com about her stage debut: ?It?s an exhilarating feeling to be practically naked, but you know I was just hoping that people would like my body. I?ve been working out really hard lately. I never even thought about it. First of all, I don?t have the body. I?m short, and I?m kind of stocky. So I would think, that will never happen. I always discussed it in dance class when I was nine-years-old. You know dancers, when you?re that age, you?re always trying to get to Vegas, that?s the level you want to get to, but even though I talked about it I never thought I was really going to be there someday.? Aw.
Unfortunately, I don?t think Ice was there to see her debut. She?s going to be on stage for three months (I think?) so chances are pretty good that Ice will be able to fly out and see his girl (and the puppies). But what if there are bigger problems in Ice and Coco?s marriage? Two weekends ago, Ice called his wife out for taking inappropriate photos with a rapper named AP.9. And now AP.9 is trying to make the rumors stick:
Ice-T’s gonna be pissed … ’cause rapper AP.9 is now strongly insinuating that he’s banging T’s wife Coco.
Of course, T already blasted his wife on Twitter after pics surfaced featuring CoCo and AP.9 gettin’ all kissy kissy during a night out in Vegas. T said the pics were “disrespectful and in bad taste.”
Coco said the pics were harmless … and stated that she’s “happily married.”
But this weekend, AP.9 was shamelessly trying to breathe life back into the story … because when he was asked about the rumors he was still bangin’ Coco, the rapper looked into the camera like he LOVED the attention and said, “That’s a RUMOR? Is that a rumor?”
He added, “No comment man.”
When asked if he was worried about retaliation from Ice — AP.9 shot back, “I’m from the hood … I’m not worried about nothin’.”

From what I know of Ice (yes, I watch Ice Love Coco), he probably would give CoCo a ?WTF, girl?? look and just continue to ignore this wannabe. God, I hope this doesn?t turn into something. I will truly give up on love entirely if Ice and CoCo can?t make it work. I?m not even f?king joking.

Stepping out for a good cause, Uma Thurman attended the 10th annual Tibet House Benefit Auction in New York on Tuesday evening (December 18).
Elegant in a grey suit, the 42-year-old actress glammed up the red carpet before heading inside Christie's Auction House for the evenings festivities.
The yearly event features luxury items, trips and rare art for patrons to bid on, with proceeds going to charity.
According to the organization's website, a portion of the funds will be given to The Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey, specifically in support of their new community center in Queens, New York.
Proceeds will also benefit the Tibetan Children's Village, an integrated educational community for Tibetan children in exile and those escaping from Tibet every year.
