According to an E! News source, the ?Girl Interrupted? actress wore a white dress when she said ?I Do? with her ?Fight Club? hubby.
The bridal gown was ?very traditional, but very Angie. It was comfortable but plain white floor-length antique lace and silk.?
Ms. Jolie also "definitely wore something that once belonged to [her mother] Marcheline Bertrand- a small gold locket with a photo of her mom inside it. She also had a veil and when Brad lifted it [he] gasped because she looked so stunning."
As for the Jolie-Pitt kids, "The boys all wore tiny matching cream linen suits which were just like Brad's [tux] while the girls had each chosen a dress to match their own individual style and they had them specially made."

Blake Lively just turned 27 years old this week. Her birthday is August 25th, just FYI. So how did she celebrate? By getting stung many, many times by bees or wasps while doing some kind of project for Preserve, her website. Have you been on Preserve since it launched? I have not, before today. I read on another site that Blake had been stung all over her body and I was curious, so I checked out Blake?s Preserve blog post about it. Guess what? Blake is EXHAUSTING. Instead of telling a bittersweet story about getting stung in the ass by a swarm of blonde-hating bitch bees on her birthday, Blake twirls and frets and sighs and bakes and eats ice cream and OMG you are not as cute as you think you are. I spent the week leading up to my big day shooting content for Preserve?s coming months?Just yesterday, the final day of the shoot, I felt an electric shock of energy– was it excitement that I was about to turn another year older? Was it nerves? Why did it feel like agony? I like getting older… I think.
But this felt terrible. Does your butt quite suddenly (and painfully) deflate when you turn 27? Because mine hurt like hell ?then my neck, back, legs and forehead. And oh my hands! They were shriveling. It felt like I was being shot by dozens of tiny invisible darts. I felt like the Wicked Witch, melting, melting, burning, melting.
As it happens, I wasn?t being greeted by the onset of spontaneous aging, but rather a full-fledged bee day. Attacked. All over. Everywhere.
I don?t know enough about insects to say if they were wasps, honeybees or Mother Nature?s miniature flying tasers. What I DO know, is that just moments before we were in the midst of a gorgeous fall fashion shoot. Now, I was a Monty Python sketch; running at top speed in no particular direction, whipping my arms and hands around like I?d just discovered they were growing out of my shoulders without my previous knowledge. There was a terrible sound piercing the air too? I was later informed this sound had emanated from my very own mouth. I?d prefer to never hear it again. Along with everybody else on the East Coast.
I was shaken. I was swollen. I had to stop what I was doing to recuperate and/or shrink.
What better way to recover than throw a fake 27th birthday party for myself? I looked for the nearest vanilla cake and decorated it. Step one of therapy complete. I then found the basin that I use to make giant hot fudge sundaes in, and instead, I made a flower interpretation of a sundae (complete with spoons, two gumdrops squished together to look like a cherry and baby?s breath acting as whipped cream.) I pulled out all my favorite Preserve treats?necklaces, that in my mind, represent candy drops, candles that smell like birthday cake (dear lord it?s the best thing you?ve ever encountered), messy hot fudge, sparkling tassels with complementary lanterns and little votives that remind me of the dolls who marked so many of my earlier years.
It wasn?t until I covered the counters in coordinating candy sprinkles that I stopped to acknowledge: my butt will deflate more and more, my hands will shrivel and permanently prune, but I will never, ever grow up.
It took a swarm of bees to remind me that a b-day is nothing but a number. Each day I choose my age. Today it?s 27, going on 2. How old will you bee today?

I guess I?m missing the gene that finds this kind of nonsense attractive in women (or men for that matter). This? twee-ness. This twirly, sort-of forced naivet. I just don?t have the patience for it. You?re 27 and you got attacked by a swarm of bees. It sucks and I feel sorry for you but don?t tell me you recuperated from your ordeal by decorating a cake and making a floral arrangement and wishing upon a star that you were 27-going-on-2.
PS? When I was a kid I was stung over 40 times by a swarm of wasps. I still have nightmares about it! It really does suck. But I didn?t bake a cake about it.

Before her latest efforts to slim down, Ms. Kardashian lamented the difficulty of losing weight after giving birth to her daughter North- ?Do any of u moms see their bodies just not the same? A different shape? Ughhhh my hips & butt are huge now! they were big to begin with! Off to an intense workout. Can't seem to shake this last 15-20 lbs of baby weight. No more excuses. My baby is 1 years old! UGH. I'm not gonna call it baby weight bc thats an excuse. I just gained weight & that's it. Why is it so much harder to lose after baby though!!?

Marvel?s Doctor Strange project has been the subject of rumors and rumor-mongering for what feels like FOREVER. We?ve heard so many names associated with the role: Benedict Cumberbatch, Johnny Depp, Tom Hardy, Jack Huston and as of late, Joaquin Phoenix. It?s looking more and more like Joaquin scored the role too. Collider had an exclusive yesterday about Joaquin being in final talks for the role:
Given the cloud of secrecy that surrounds each and every Marvel Studios property while in development, there are bound to be unconfirmed rumors about almost every major aspect of their upcoming films?particularly in the casting department. The studio is currently filling out its Phase Three slate, and while Ant-Man is the first film out of the gate in July 2015 followed by Captain America 3 in May 2016, we then have the Doctor Strange movie on July 8, 2016. Marvel recently signed Scott Derrickson to direct the mystical comics adaptation, and in keeping with the rumor tradition, speculation has run rampant as to who will fill the title role.
After rounds of shortlists and cryptic comments with regards to who will inhabit the character, the trades reported in mid-July that Joaquin Phoenix was finally in negotiations to star in the film. It?s been over a month since that time and there still hasn?t been confirmation from Marvel?s end, so the speculation machine kicked up again recently with word going around that Jack Huston is now ?under consideration? for the part. However, we?re hearing there?s absolutely no truth to that rumor, as Phoenix?s deal is currently being finalized.
Despite rumors to the contrary, we?re hearing that Phoenix is absolutely still in line to play Doctor Strange in the Marvel adaptation, with our source telling us that his contract is essentially at the 1 yard line, about to pass into the endzone. Though some believed the length of time it?s taken for Phoenix to finalized his deal was a sign that things might have gone south, it makes sense that an actor of Phoenix?s caliber and temperament would want to ensure that his Marvel contract doesn?t restrict his creative freedom to take on other projects outside the MCU.

Collider goes on to note that Marvel signs actors to multi-picture deals but the number of films varies per actor. Samuel L. Jackson signed a nine-picture deal while Chris Evans only signed a six-picture deal. Which brings up a point I?ve made before: is Joaquin really going to be a company man? Marvel demands that of their actors, that they come to play. Actors have to carve out significant time to promote, to shill and to travel around the world to sell their movies. Joaquin rarely (if ever) plays that game. He?s a curmudgeon in interviews and he barely participates in the premiere hoopla, even when it?s a film he loves and supports.
My theory is that Marvel sort of wanted Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hardy but their schedules were a mess and both actors are scheduled with back-to-back projects for the next two years. While Joaquin is an amazing actor who could rock pretty much any role, I kind of doubt he was their first choice.

Here are the first photos of Angelina Jolie as a married lady. I don?t understand why these pics are such poor quality. Surely every paparazzo in Europe has descended upon Malta to stake out the set of By the Sea? That?s where Angelina is now, in Malta, prepping By the Sea. Brad Pitt, her HUSBAND, should be there shortly if he?s not already there. Angelina wrote the script and she?ll be directing it. People Mag had a nice write-up about their ?Maltese honeymoon?:
They finally tied the knot. Now, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are heading to their honeymoon ? and it’s a sexy mix of work and play. Pitt, 50, has been doing press in London (where he gave a peek at his new wedding ring!) for his upcoming World War II drama, Fury. But the actor is expected to soon join Jolie, 39, in Malta, where she is prepping for their first onscreen reunion since 2005?s Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Here’s where things get really interesting: The film, By the Sea, which has been described as “an intimate, character-driven” drama and was written by Jolie herself, is far from family-friendly. Pitt and Jolie play a married couple in the south of France who become sexually obsessed with their neighbors. (One of the neighbors is played by French actress Mlanie Laurent, who costarred with Pitt in 2009?s Inglourious Basterds.)
“I wrote something a few years ago for Brad and me,” Jolie told PEOPLE in May of her script for By the Sea. “Just for fun. Just an independent little art piece. Because we don’t get to do those as much as we’d like. But it’s something really small and experimental.”
The couple have gotten tantalizingly personal in the past, with Pitt telling CBS This Morning in 2012 that Jolie “is still a bad girl. Delightfully so. It’s not for public consumption.”
His comments came after Jolie expressed the same sentiment to 60 Minutes, revealing, “I’m still a bad girl. I still have that side of me. It’s just in its place now … It belongs to Brad.”

Us Weekly says that Brad and Angie?s villa in Malta is pretty tricked out too, so they should have some moments of luxury with all of the work they?ll be doing. Oh, and Melanie Laurent? Hm… I’m not sure what I think of that.
You know what I was thinking about? Names. We always called them ?the Jolie-Pitts? but I wonder if Angelina is going to officially change her name to Angelina Jolie-Pitt or Angie Pitt? And God knows, Brad might be one of those rare dudes who wants to change his name as well. Would he become Brad Jolie-Pitt? That would be amazing. Obviously, their names will most likely stay the same professionally, but I would get a kick out of it if they changed their names privately.

On Wednesday (August 27), the ?Run This Town? songstress teamed up with a few friends and set sail on a luxury yacht, complete with sexy swimsuits and plenty of selfies.
It turns out, the 183-foot boat belongs to Swiss entrepreneur Hans Thomas Gross and is running Ri-Ri a whopping $336,500 per week plus expenses.
Meanwhile, the Barbadian singer also treated herself to a snazzy dinner in an unlikely locale- she tweeted, ?Sailed up to an active volcano for dinner #bucketlists***.?

Nicole Kidman is the cover girl of the newest issue of The Edit, net-a-porter.com?s in-house magazine. I usually like The Edit?s editorials and this one is? okay. If I?m being honest, I?ll say that I think it took a mountain of Botox, fairy dust and Photoshop to make Nicole Kidman look like a hard 39. I always try to convince myself that Nicole occasionally eases up on the ?Tox and fillers but this editorial just shows that at the age of 47, Nicole still wants to play 33. Nicole on her life in Nashville with Keith & their kids: ?We watch America?s Funniest Home Videos and reruns of The Brady Bunch, that?s very much our life.?
Her emotions were intense as a child: ?I loved getting lost in characters and a lot of that was to do with not being comfortable with who I was, so [I created] a fantasy life. I had intense feelings as a child; I used to cry when my mother would go and play bridge. I?d be crying in bed, waiting for her to come home. My depth of emotion was powerful.?

Late in life love: ?Keith always says, ?We?re lucky we met late in life. That?s a great thing to hear from a man,? says Kidman. At his concert on their wedding anniversary in Australia earlier this year, Urban dedicated a song to his wife with the words, ?Eight years, baby girl. This song is for you. I love you so much.? On giving birth: “Giving birth is just whoa! What I remember the most is the cry. When the baby is born the cry penetrates on such a deep level and Keith says that too. This was one of the best Kidman interviews I?ve read in a while. For most of ?the Keith years,? she?s been less direct in interviews, more touchy-feely and New Age-speak. I think she?s probably pretty New Age-y in real life too ? I got a kick out of her talking about the Gemini-Cancer cusp. I also got a kick out of Nicole describing her ?depth of emotion? as a child and how she got to a point where she didn?t want to be alone. Eh. Let her have it. I?m fine with this version of Nicole, I just wish she had a more natural face.
Oh, and as for the childbirth stuff? that?s so old-school. The controversy about Nicole?s pregnancy and birth of Sunday Rose was pre-Beyonce-pillow. I still don?t know if I believe that Nicole faked that pregnancy. Hm.

The last time I discussed Emma Roberts and Evan Peters was not a pleasant occasion. (Has this couple ever produced any cheery, heartwarming news? Nope.) We spoke about their explosive fight at San Diego Comic-Con. Emma started pushing Evan around at a party, and he fled the scene. Their relationship is not a healthy one, and god only knows why he proposed to her in January.
I suspect the Comic-Con incident wasn’t the first time Emma got physical with Evan since her domestic violence arrest last summer. One doesn’t go from biting and hitting to completely behaving themselves. At least, it doesn’t happen without professional help. Sources have said the relationship is a mess with Emma and Evan going to “passionate, extreme” ends. Evan’s family is reportedly very upset that he won’t quit Emma. According to Star, Emma knows the drill and is trying to get Evan to elope. She wants the deed done:
Emma Roberts is a runaway bride (well, sort of). The actress has been begging her fianc, Evan Peters, 27, to elope because his family doesn’t approve of their turbulent union. After numerous fights that resulted in Emma, 23, turning violent, Evan’s loved ones want him to ditch the actress for good. “Evan feels stuck,” says a pal. “He doesn’t want to let his family down, but he’s also in love. Emma has a huge hold on him.” And the Palo Alto star wants it to stay that way. Sources reveal that Emma is already scouting locations for a quickie ceremony before Evan changes his mind.

I believe this story because Star has had a few inside scoops on Evan and Emma. “Passion” should never be an excuse for hurting anyone. A physically abusive person will not stop being violent simply because they’re enjoying post-marital bliss. Emma’s already been busted for laying hands on Evan in public and in private. This couple needs an intervention. I hope Evan’s family steps in before it’s far too late.

We?re still talking about the Brangelina Wedding. YAY! Everyone is asking how they pulled it off and how they could dare get married without inviting an ass-load of celebrity friends. Um, because they aren?t Kimye, y?all. Still, some news of the low-key French wedding has managed to slip out (somehow?) and so we?re hearing some new details. Some highlights:
The dress: E! News says Angelina wore white and the gown was ?very traditional, but very Angie, it was comfortable but plain white floor-length antique lace and silk.” No designer is known at this time. She also wore a veil. Apparently, Angelina looked ?so stunning? that when Brad lifted the veil, ?he gasped.? I bet the dress has sleeves too, don?t you think?
Something old: Angelina wore a small gold locket that belonged to her late mother, and she put a small photo of Marcheline Bertrand in the locket.
What did the kids wear? A source says: “The boys all wore tiny matching cream linen suits which were just like Brad’s [tux] while the girls had each chosen a dress to match their own individual style and they had them specially made.”
Wedding bands: the bands were designed by their friend Robert Procop. Procop and Pitt designed Angelina?s engagement ring together and Procop and Jolie worked on her jewelry line, The Style of Jolie, together.
Guests: Brad’s family was there, including his parents, his brother and sister and their kids. No Jon Voight and there’s no mention of James Haven either.
Costs: The wedding was relatively inexpensive – there were so few guests, Brad and Angie’s Miraval chef did the meal and there wasn’t a huge spectacle.
The Vows: A source tells E!, “Brad and Angie said handwritten vows telling each other how much they love each other and their beautiful family and they both had tears in their eyes as did everyone else. It was short but loaded with meaning, and it was a lovely way to start life in their new family home now that the building work is finally finished.”
The Food: They had a wedding lunch of “local hams, cheeses, freshly caught sea bass, Italian pastas and champagne, as well as Chateau Miraval ros wine. There were three different types of cakes, all picked by the kids?one was a strawberry ice cream one, another was a three chocolate gateau and a third had fresh cream and raspberries.” Aw. Three kinds of desserts!! YES.
Everyone is happy: A source told Us Weekly, ?This was a total surprise, but something they were obviously planning on doing when the time was right. Everyone is happy for them. It was small and family and friends only, just like they wanted. I’m happy they pulled it off. We all consider them married anyway, but now it’s official.”
French locals had no idea: An official in the French village of Correns told People Mag, ?No one in Correns knew a thing. It was a marriage which seems to have been carried out in total intimacy and absolute discretion.?
Brad is happy and glowing: A reporter who attended Brad?s Fury photocall on Thursday said Brad “wore his band but didn’t play with it like sometimes people do when they have a new ring.? The reporter also said: “At the end, we were just talking and I said, ‘Congratulations!’ and he gave me a big smile and said, ‘Thank you, man!’ He looked amazing today. He was very animated, very invested. Very alive.”
There?s a lot of debate as to whether Angelina and Brad will release any photos from their wedding. God knows. I could see decent reasons for and against, but I kind of wonder if they might wait and maybe Brad will release the wedding portrait he took of Angelina, you know? Something like that ? he loves taking photos of his Angelina and the kids, and I could see W Mag or Vanity Fair offering him the chance to just publish HIS wedding photos.

Well well well. Beyonce covers the new issue of CR Fashion Book, Carine Roitfeld?s latest fashion magazine endeavor. Roitfeld is tight with Kanye West and Carine has even given Kim Kardashian a cover shoot, plus North West was featured in the last issue of CR Fashion Book. I mean, it?s a no brainer, of course every magazine wants to do a cover with Beyonce, especially when Beyonce isn?t doing many mag cover shoots these days. But I?m just saying? there?s some Kimye Dramz mixed up in here too. But for now, Beyonce seems happy with the way it turned out ? Bey even posted the editorial on her Tumblr.
If you go to CR Fashion Book, you can also read the interview/profile/whatever with Beyonce. It?s not really an interview or a profile. They claim that these are Beyonce?s own words, ?remixed? by Pulitizer-prize-winning poet Forest Gander. Some lines: ?It?s my daughter, she?s my biggest muse. There?s someone we all find out soon, more important than ourselves to lose.? And ?You call me a singer, but I?m called to transform, to suck up the grief, anxiety, and loss of those who hear me into my song?s form.? And ?Utopias, they don?t much interest me. I always mess things up a bit. Its chaos, in part, that helps us see.? Beyonce didn?t write that stuff.
Meanwhile, as I?m sure many of you heard yesterday, Beyonce?s father did a radio interview and it was a damn mess. Mathew Knowles is a messy person all over ? he cheated on Tina Knowles, he has babies he doesn?t support financially, he allegedly skimmed profits from Beyonce, and on and on. When asked about Beyonce?s alleged marriage troubles, Knowles said: ?All I know is the Jedi mind trick. Everyone?s talking about it. Ticket sales went up. There were rumors about their rocky relationship for months now, but every time a split rumor really took hold, Britney and her people let it be known that she was still with Normal Guy Dave. But now it?s over, even Britney is confirming it. You know why? Because Normal Guy cheated on her. Damn, bro.
Britney Spears just dumped her boyfriend of 18 months … after finding out there’s a video of him cheating on her that’s being shopped around Hollywood.
We’re told David Lucado is seen in the video making out with a woman and dancing with her. It looks like they’re in someone’s living room. We’re told the video was shot in early August.
When we called Lucado … a rep told us, “David is very, very in love with Britney. This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out.”
Well, it didn’t. We called Britney’s camp for comment, and we were told her father Jamie wanted to say something about it, but wanted to tell Britney first. It appears as soon he told her … she broke up with David. She just tweeted, “Ahhhh the single life!”

(they fought a lot) but Britney is looking to focus on her career now ? her Vegas show comes back in a few weeks. Part of me doesn?t believe that Britney will be single for long. I think that?s the deal that she?s made with her management and her father (her conservator): she will lip sync and dance for money all they want, but they have to let her have a boyfriend. She?ll have a new guy by October.

The last time I discussed Emma Roberts and Evan Peters was not a pleasant occasion. (Has this couple ever produced any cheery, heartwarming news? Nope.) We spoke about their explosive fight at San Diego Comic-Con. Emma started pushing Evan around at a party, and he fled the scene. Their relationship is not a healthy one, and god only knows why he proposed to her in January.
I suspect the Comic-Con incident wasn’t the first time Emma got physical with Evan since her domestic violence arrest last summer. One doesn’t go from biting and hitting to completely behaving themselves. At least, it doesn’t happen without professional help. Sources have said the relationship is a mess with Emma and Evan going to “passionate, extreme” ends. Evan’s family is reportedly very upset that he won’t quit Emma. According to Star, Emma knows the drill and is trying to get Evan to elope. She wants the deed done:

I believe this story because Star has had a few inside scoops on Evan and Emma. “Passion” should never be an excuse for hurting anyone. A physically abusive person will not stop being violent simply because they’re enjoying post-marital bliss. Emma’s already been busted for laying hands on Evan in public and in private. This couple needs an intervention. I hope Evan’s family steps in before it’s far too late.
