Just when you though that no name could be worse than Bronx Mowgli, now comes word that Lisa Bonet named her son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa according to ONTD. Even though Lisa is on Life On Mars, no one confirmed the birth of her son on December 15th until now, and the name was just released on her partner's Jason Momoa website by his mother. Poor kid, the only name I can pronounce of the 5 is Wolf.

Daniel Craig is normally pretty boring with his clothes on, but he?s learning (slowly) how to give a good interview. He recently sat down with Britain?s Times to talk about his new film, Defiance, and the talented journalist actually got him to open up about his dreams and frustrations with the Bond franchise. Craig?s actual words are ?The problem is that Austin Powers screwed everything up. He exploded the genre. Did I just say that? I did.? Oh no she didn?t! ZOMG War! Seriously, though, I can understand how any actor would be worried to play James Bond after Mike Meyers? Austin Powers character ripped Bond a new one. With love.
?The first film was a huge punt, although I think if it had failed miserably, I could have walked away with my head held high and said, ?Well, I gave it a go.? But the fact was that it wasn?t. It was a success, and in a way that nobody could have predicted. Quantum was about keeping it interesting, relevant, and the only way I could think about doing that was just to throw myself headlong into it. So I know the work we put in. We didn?t have a complete script, so Marc [the director, Marc Forster] and I had to batter it into shape, to find the story we wanted to tell.?
Craig isn?t bothered that Quantum has been criticised for being too dark. ?Well, I nicked a lot of the ideas about who Bond is from Ian Fleming,? he says. ?But the point is, we did the movie we had to do to finish the story off, and comedy and lightness weren?t relevant. This was a story about loyalty, about friendship, about who you can trust. Gag-writing wasn?t at the top of the list.? Looking forward, he says that having finished the story they began with Casino Royale, everything will be up for grabs in the next film - although nobody has started working on it yet - and the tone could be completely different.
?I love the idea of putting Moneypenny in the film,? he says, to my surprise. ?I?m dead keen to do it. And Q.? Moneypenny, to those few who may not have seen earlier Bond films, is the secretary who is always flirting with Bond, Q the Secret Service boffin who equips him with the latest spy gadgets. ?But I work from the premise that there are millions and millions of people out there who never saw one of the earlier Bond movies. So they don?t understand the martini gag. Or the Moneypenny gag, which is a gag - it had ceased to be a character. So, let?s find out who she is. We can have fun doing that. And, don?t get me wrong, I?m up for a submarine base, as long as the gag works. The problem is that Austin Powers screwed everything up. He exploded the genre. Did I just say that? I did.?

Yea! Bring back Moneypenny! But make her a feminist! Or something, just give her something else to do besides make eyes at James Bond. Daniel Craig keeps on talking, though, and if you wanted to know the whole history behind Defiance, you should read the whole piece. The only other interesting parts of the interview (my opinion) were when Craig opens up a little about being typecast early in his career, his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell (I want to hate her, but she seems cool), and Ella, his daughter.
Craig, who has played everything from a gangster, in Layer Cake, to a poet, in Sylvia, has tried to make sure he isn?t typecast. ?The first time I came to LA, in the early 1990s, all the jobs I seemed to be going up for were the Nazi or the thug, the bad guy,? he says. ?And I remember sitting in a casting and looking around at these actors, all of whom were there to play the bad guy, and I thought, ?I don?t want to be here. This is not who I want to play.? You know, on paper, that it?s a career, you?ll make a living, but I knew I didn?t want to be typecast then. I wanted to be able to play anything.?
Even though Bond has made Craig, at 40, the most famous Englishman after David Beckham, and he?s on the way to becoming a very rich man, he says he tries not to think of what he does as a business, but to keep in mind what inspired him to become an actor: ?I can remember wanting to act as far back as I can remember.? His mother, an art teacher, used to take him to the theatre in Liverpool, where they lived. ?I was just amazed that one minute people were on stage, then they would come off and be completely different,? he says. ?It was magic. And it obviously had a deep, deep effect on me.
?I was always impressed by loud people, too, which is a bad thing to be impressed by, because most actors are drunks, and, as the evening goes on, they get louder and more entertaining - well, hopefully more entertaining.?
As satisfying as the success is, Craig admits he still hasn?t fully come to terms with how much Bond has changed his life, although he insists that the people closest to him, including his long-term girlfriend, the producer Satsuki Mitchell, and Ella, his 16-year-old daughter, treat him as they ever did.
?I?m in denial about it, but it has changed everything for me,? he says. ?Life just got flipped on its head. All of a sudden, everybody recognised me. I can?t go out without being recognised. Simply put, it?s a pain in the ass. You can?t have the sort of spontaneity of saying, ?Let?s go to the pub.? People say, ?You?re an actor. Isn?t that what you do?? But I don?t do it to be recognised. I do it because I get a kick out of doing it. I?m not moaning, but I have had to reassess the way I look at the world, the way I live my life. I knew I would, I just didn?t have a plan for it.?

Daniel Craig seems like a decent (if boring) man. He?s done wonders for the Bond franchise and seems to be a really dedicated professional. I always forget that he played Ted Hughes to Gwyneth ?GOOP? Paltrow?s Sylvia Plath. It wasn?t the worst movie, and there?s a really good sex scene on a couch between the two of them. And Daniel has his shirt off in a bunch of scenes. One thing I find unforgivable in all of these interviews with Craig is that no one ever mentions this absolutely incredible British film, The Mother, that Craig did a couple of years before Bond. He has sex scenes with a very mature woman, and they are *awesome*. Good film overall, too. Daniel needs to make more of those kinds of movies!

Here’s a rundown of what’s been going on with Jeremy Piven and the Broadway production of Speed-the-Plow. Last year, Piven was signed on to make his Broadway debut in David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow. After a few shows, Piven then decided he didn’t want to do it anymore and requested an early release due to exhaustion. His request was denied. In mid-December, Piven’s doctor wrote him a little note saying he couldn’t perform because he had “elevated levels of mercury” from eating too much fish. Piven is an avid sushi eater.
Backers of the show called BS and investigated Piven’s claim of mercury poisoning in an effort to “squeeze some money out of him.” Page Six says that Jeremy Piven has already been examined by another doctor, but Jeffrey Richards, the lead producer, would not reveal the results citing confidentiality. However, Jeffrey added ominously, “We’re in the process of discussing what our next step will be.”
Jeremy Piven should have come up with something better than mercury poisoning from too much sushi. That’s like saying I’m too tired to work because I’ve been making out with these models every night and I might have gotten mono or you might have herniated a disc from playing too much Wii.

Star Magazine Star told you first that Sarah Jessica Parker’s husband, Matthew Broderick, was cheating on her with a younger woman. Now they’re reporting that the Sex and the City star is house-hunting–solo!
In the Jan. 19 issue of Star ? on sale now! ? we report that while Sarah thought she could make it work with her straying mate, she recently visited a midtown real estate broker to help her find her own place.
“The time has come when she realizes it just isn’t worth it,” a friend of the couple tells Star. “Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place and bring down the curtain on her marriage.”
Adds another insider: “Sarah’s not stupid. She knows exactly what’s going on. For a while it was easier for her to stay than go through a harsh divorce. They’re essentially living separate lives.”
Now that the holidays are over, the actress is revisiting her exit strategy, which takes into careful consideration the couple’s 6-year-old son, James Wilkie ? just about the only thing holding the pair together.
“They spent the holidays with him, pretending to be happy,” says another source. “SJP is a great actress when she has to be!”
Well, I’m glad that Sarah finally got the motivation she needed to finally become a great actress. I loved her in Seabicuit, but when all you do is wear a saddle and run around a racetrack, there’s not opportunity to stretch those acting chops.

It’s been a tragic week for John Travolta and family ever since their son/brother Jett passed away last Friday. And his funeral will be held today in Ocala, Florida, according to a report.
The “Pulp Fiction” actor’s son underwent an autopsy this past Monday and was determined to have died as a result of his seizure disorder. He was subsequently cremated and his remains were flown to the US from the Bahamas where he died at the Travolta’s vacation home.

Hey, do you remember when Lindsay Lohan called Scarlett Johansson a ?C-U- Next Tuesday?? And then ScarJo tried to act classy, like who is this mysterious Lohan person?
Well, as it turns out, Lohan has a real problem with Scarlett - like a love/hate thing, admiration mixed with envy mixed with high-school bitchy. Lohan just gave another interview, this time to Interview magazine, talking about how she works ?as hard? as ScarJo, but people only focus on her ?mess? of a life.

Interesting sidenote: Just what is Lohan promoting, for the love of God? Other actresses do press because, you know, they have a film coming out. I think Lohan?s just giving an interview with nothing to promote except the idea that she has a screwed up life.
Lindsay Lohan gave an interview to Lauren Hutton in the February issue of Interview, and bemoaned the state of her career and the poor film educations of youth today.
On not getting the same opportunities as other actresses: “But it’s so impossible for me to actually [go someplace where no one knows me]. When I was in Dubai, there was still press lined up around the hotel. So I find it close to impossible to actually do that. I mean, it is what it is. This is what I asked for, and in this day and age that’s what actually goes on. But what hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to last forever.
On being in Hollywood to act, not to become a celebrity: “I just feel as though it’s become a situation where people have manifested this caricature of who I am, and they act as if there’s no real person inside of it. I mean, people really have come to believe-directors, producers, agents, whoever it may be-that I started in this because I wanted to be a celebrity. But that was never my intention.”
On the public misconception of her and the lack of knowledge about film: “I wanted to be a movie star [growing up]. But movie stars are not what they used to be. When I was a kid, I thought movie stars were women and men who were in these great films that we still look at now. But I don’t think there are too many films coming out these days that we’re going to look at in the future and say, ‘This is one of the great ones.’ Like, what is the great film that I will tell my children about? I’m still going to tell them about the old films, the Hitchcock films. And people my age don’t even know who those people are. I can’t even have a conversation with most people of my generation about that, because they’d be like, ‘Okay, she’s a freak. Something’s wrong with her.’

I don?t really hate La Lohan - she?s had a really screwed up life, and her family continues to be both ridiculous and frightening. Even though this interview is sort of being billed as the next step of the Lohan-Johansson War, Lohan just sounds like she?s trying to change her image and get some work. I?m not sure whining is the best way to do that, but let?s see. Rumor is that insurance companies don?t want to insure a problem actress with a history of unprofessional and drug-seeking behavior, so Lohan?s lack of work might not even be her image. Very few directors or producers will put their projects on the line with an un-insured actress. Still, I hope Lohan finds something to do - other than hang with Sam and ?stay sober?.

Normally, I?m kind of ?meh? about Fantastic Four?s Chris Evans. He?s very cute, but he reminds me a little of those douchey jocks I went to high school with. But, as it turns out, Chris Evans has hidden depths. Chris?s younger brother Scott is gay, and Chris has come out big time in support of gay rights in general, and the repeal of Prop 8 specifically.
In his statements, Evans comes across as a very decent and thoughtful guy, and a really smart advocate for gay rights. If you?re like me, and spend your life judging books by their covers, you might take one look at Chris Evans and think he would be on the other side of the gay rights issues. He seems more like the kind of guy who would haze his buddies for being ?gay?. Not so much, as it turns out.
Fantastic Four star Chris Evans has recently become a vocal advocate of gay marriage, saying it’s ‘appalling’ that homosexuals in this country aren’t allowed to get married.
The 27 year-old Evans’ indignation was probably ignited after the passing of Proposition 8, which reversed early rulings granting the gay community the right to wed in California.
The actor, whose signature line as the Human Torch is “Flame On!”, has a younger brother Scott who is openly gay. Chris believes that politicians will eventually have to change America’s laws regarding same-sex marriage.
“It’s mind-boggling and appalling that human beings are being denied civil rights in this country,” said Evans. “But time will heal all. I have to believe that in 10 years we won’t be having this conversation. We’ll be having another one, because we’ll always find someone to persecute.”
In addition to both Fantastic Four films, Evans has appeared in Sunshine, The Nanny Diaries, and Street Kings.

I agree with the ?in ten years it will be different? idea. The progression of gay rights, I have to believe, will only progress under President Obama and beyond. Just in my three-decade lifetime, I?ve seen homosexuality mocked and ridiculed by mainstream press and politicians, to this point in time where doing so means a huge financial loss. As the mainstream media continues to report, the churches and non-profit organizations who pushed Prop 8 are facing a lot of financial troubles, not to mention ethical and moral questions of inclusion, tolerance and acceptance. It?s good to see Chris Evans join the good fight.

Despite earlier denials via MySpace by Lindsay Lohan, TMZ insists she and Samantha Ronson have split. Today they’re going into more detail and report that Lindsay moved out of Sam’s place and is living with her manager, Jen.
There could be a myriad of reasons for this break-up, but I think the main one is Lindsay was using too big of a strap-on. You gotta ease Sam into it. You can’t just go straight into that 9-incher. Rookie mistake.

Manchester Utd’s Cristiano Ronaldo was driving through a tunnel at Manchester Airport this morning in his $400,000 Ferrari when he lost control and smashed into a wall. No word on how fast he was going, but witnesses say his car was a “mangled wreck.” Ronaldo managed to walk away from the accident unscathed and went to practice with his team. The front of Ronaldo’s car was completely mangled. There was metal all over the road and debris - and we had to dodge our way through it. Ronaldo was just standing at the side of the road looking forlorn and bewildered.
So now not only does Ronaldo make a lot of money and get to bang hot women every day, he’s also invincible. He probably doesn’t age either. Whatever. His life isn’t so great. Today I dropped my peanut butter jelly sandwich on the floor. There was only one hair and a few specks of dirt stuck to it this time. Suck on that Honaldo!

Presidential Elect Barack Obama has caused some controversy with the choice of Pastor Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at his inauguration later this month. Warren is against gay marriage and has been outspoken in his support of Proposition 8 in California. While some people point out that Warren is a kind man who is quick to befriend people of all backgrounds, he’s also made outrageous statements comparing gay marriage to pedophilia and incest.
Obama’s choice of Warren is thought to be a strategic move to make inroads in the Evangelical community and show that he wants to work with those with opposing views. Obama himself said that he made the choice in order to help foster discussion between the two sides. Some call Obama’s selection of Warren a slap in the face to his supporters in the gay and lesbian community that he will never live down.
Actress Anne Hathaway is among the people expressing outrage at Obama’s choice of Warren. She told E! News that she has some questions to ask the Presidential Elect about the controversial pastor. When asked what she expects from Obama in the New Year, she said immediately “I expect him to explain that choice of Rick Warren. I don’t get it. All my friends and I were trying to figure it out, but we just can’t. So I’d love that. But other than that, I expect nothing but the best.”
Obama did explain his choice of Warren in a press conference in mid December. Hathaway must have missed that. Obama said “we’re not going to agree on every single issue, but what we have to do is to be able to create an atmosphere where we can disagree without being disagreeable, and then focus on those things that we hold in common as Americans.”
That sounds pretty reasonable. Maybe Obama’s people didn’t know what they were getting into with Warren but I find that hard to believe. They were so strategically accurate during the campaign. It’s possible they just took a calculated risk on this one or that Obama’s friendship with Warren clouded his judgment. We’ll have to see what the long term implications are and if it signifies a lack of understanding from Obama’s side or if they’ll learn from it and be more careful with these type of decisions in the future. At least Warren isn’t getting a longer term role in the Obama administration - that we know of.
Hathaway herself isn’t the best judge of character. She dated a con man for years who swindled millions from investors and is now languishing in prison. Many thought she should have seen the writing on the wall and dumped her boyfriend back when he was first suspected of wrongdoing.

At Monday’s 20th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival, Connelly’s husband, British actor Paul Bettany, finally addressed the weight loss rumors.

Is there something fishy, pun intended, about Jeremy Piven?s mercury poisoning? The backers of the Broadway Production he was starring in, Speed-the-Plow, are understandably upset that the star draw card has left the stage. Now they want to get an independent doctor to assess whether or not he?s really sick.
The producers didn’t have star insurance on Piven. If they had, their insurance company would almost certainly investigate the actor’s claim before paying out any money.
But under the Actors’ Equity contract, the producers are entitled to have Piven’s medical records examined by another doctor. If they suspect fraud, they can sue him.
“If it turns out this is phony, it can really kill him,” says a veteran producer who’s not involved in “Speed-the-Plow.”
Yesterday, the show’s lead producer, Jeffrey Richards, said that Piven has in fact been examined by another doctor.
Richards declined to divulge the results, saying, “They are confidential.”
He adds: “We’re in the process of discussing what our next step will be.”
Several top Broadway producers say that if “Speed-the-Plow” were their show, they’d go after Piven.
“I’d kill the jerk,” one says, bluntly.
“You have an obligation to your investors to make sure he did not get out of this in an illegal way,” says another. “You have recourse, and if I had suspicions, I’d nail him.”
“I’d only bother if the show fell short of recoupment,” says a third. “But I’d let it be known that he’s destroyed his career in the theater.”

Speed-the-Plow was a week away from returning its $3.5 million investment when Jeremy quit the show. I like most people, have never heard of mercury poisoning from eating too much sushi, but I can see how in a theoretical way you could get it. But, even if your body was inclined to mercury poisoning, that would have to be a lot of sushi. I?m thinking three meals a day, and eating your cat?s food for snacks.
While Jeremy probably doesn?t care that his Broadway career is over (he was trying to get out of his contract, if he?s faking the illness) it will be interesting to see if legal action is taken. ?Discussing what our next step will be? sounds ominous, but that may not be referring to Jeremy faking an illness. Obviously investors are looking to recoup any losses they may have made, and whether the show is viable to continue without Jeremy. He was scheduled to perform until February 22.

There have been rumors for some time that Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black in the Twilight series, would be replaced by another actor for the second film, New Moon. In the second film, he would play a werewolf ? a part that requires sheer size as well as a different acting style than playing (in his words) a ?happy-go-lucky? guy. Lautner noted the difference between the character that he played in the first Twilight installment and the character that would be necessary for the second film:
Lautner told MTV News recently that, while he can’t automatically grow hair, he’s been bulking up in anticipation of continuing in the role.
?My job for Twilight was to bring Twilight Jacob to life?the friendly, happy-go-lucky little Jacob,” he said. ”My job for New Moon is completely different. I’ve been looking forward to that. I’ve been getting ready for it, and I can assure them I will follow through with that.”

Today, Stephanie Meyer, the author of the Twilight series, announced that Lautner would indeed continue to play Jacob, making many teenagers very, very happy. Chris Weitz, the director of New Moon, writes that he always knew Lautner would be right for the part:
I’m very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he’s doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.
The characters in Stephenie’s books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I’m looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

That was a well-written letter Weitz?s personal assistant wrote for him. The bottom line is, changing actors mid-stream in a series doesn’t bode well. With the success of the books, studio execs must have anticipated that a second movie would be made, and should have taken into account the changes to his character. But it doesn?t seem that the studio was all too worried about attention to detail. Their hurry to make a buck may have also forced the original director to leave the series.
The speculation about Lautner?s casting change was reinforced by the fact that the director of Twilight, Catherine Hardwicke, is also not continuing on in the franchise. Verified reasons for Hardwicke?s leaving have been few and far between, but because she cites ?timing? as the reason, this probably means that Hardwicke wanted more pre-production while the studios were pushing for a quick turnaround with a 2009 release.
Both Chris Weitz and Taylor Lautner have challenges ahead of them, for different reasons. But both are going to have to work hard to fulfil the fantasies of countless tweens.

Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West?s mother the day before she died, has been sentenced to a year in county jail for a DUI he received in June. Adams was caught driving in his Jaguar the wrong way on Interstate 680 near Cordelia with a blood alcohol level of .20 percent, more than twice the legal limit in California. He was caught trying to exit the highway on an off-ramp, also going the wrong way. He plead no contest and was given his sentence on Monday.
Solano County Superior Court Commissioner Ray Wieser handed down the sentence in Vallejo Monday morning after Adams’ defense counsel, Michael Cardoza, told the court that Adams did not want probation but was prepared to serve straight jail time for the offense. Wieser subsequently sentenced Adams to one year in Solano County Jail with credit for eight days previously served in custody.
Execution of sentence was stayed until 8:30 a.m. Feb. 6 to allow Adams time to address a probation violation case in Los Angeles.

US Weekly has a new interview between former Girls Next Door Bridget Marquardt, 35, and Kendra Wilkinson, 23. It’s very long and chatty and if you have some time to kill and enjoy pointless girl talk it’s a fun read. Kendra and Bridget talk at extensive length about their favorite junk food and the way they use portion control without depriving themselves of treats. They also discuss their workout methods. Bridget loves doing trapese work while Kendra does drill-type exercises with her fiance, Philadelphia Eagles football player Hank Baskett.
On using portion control instead of counting calories
BM: Do you count calories?
KW: I don’t even know what a calorie is. I don’t give a f–k what calories are. I don’t go by calories. I go just by portions, and we’re both very active so we really don’t need to worry about that. And me and you, we’re the same. We want to live our lives. We have one life to live. Why not live it and eat what you want? But be smart about what you it. It’s all common sense. I don’t think you need to be on any special diet.
BM: It has to be something you can maintain for the rest of your life.
KW: Exactly.
BM: Otherwise, it sets you up to fail.
KW: It does, they do. They really do. I really don’t believe in diets. You stress yourself out. You’ll have extra stress on you. “Oh my god, pizza! But I can’t eat it!”
BM: You can eat anything you want but in moderation. Diet is a bad word. You can’t keep that up the rest of your life. And you’re always going to set yourself up for failure.
KW: Yeah, the word “diet” is stupid and it sucks and I don’t believe in it.
BM: And I definitely don’t count calories either. Sometimes, I’ll look just in case something that I thought might be good for you. for instance, those granola bars. Sometimes I’ll look to see how many calories they have, and some might surprise me and it’s, like, 3000 calories in that or something. I’d be like, “Whoa! I won’t eat those as much.” If it only has 100 calories, then I know I’m okay eating a few of these.
On the moment Kendra decided to get fit after a mild diss by Hefner
BM: When did you start to worry about your diet? Like, “Oh I need to start eating healthier?”
KW: You know when!
BM: I do know when. Do you want me to tell it? I won’t say it that bad, I’ll just give the rundown. We’re on our way to a wedding [about four years ago] with Hef in the limo. Holly was in the wedding. At first, you were like, “Oh I need to start working out. I’m getting kind of fat.” And Hef said, “Yeah, there’s a gym downstairs.”
KW: Yeah, Hef, out of all people, said that to me.
BM: Yeah, “There’s a gym downstairs, and you have to be careful with out kitchen.”
KW: And I’m like, [imitates wailing]. I was crying so bad!
BM: I would’ve too. That was so mean.
KW: I was, like, crying.
BM: And then you got super skinny and super toned. And you became like, fitness girl!
Kendra’s workout tips
BM: What are your secret diet and workout tips when you need to lose a few pounds? For like a photo shoot or something?
KW: I do a 22-minute drill on the treadmill. It’s fast, but it does the trick. I do it at a 15 percent incline. I do it all the way up. It just hits that spot. And just taking a big bar, or big weight, and doing a couple squats and just doing regular sit-ups and I’m done. Did you say just before a photo shoot? For me, I think drinking a lot of water the day before and if I have a little time to do it, maybe a lot of protein and not so many carbs. Like I’m trying. If this photo shoot means so much to me and I really have to try hard, that’s what I’ll do. What’s your normal workout?
BM: When I’m home, it’s trapeze, of course. Or I like going on hikes.
KW: And you have your own trapeze bars and stuff?
BM: Yeah, trapeze bars at the mansion. But while I’m on the road with the Travel Channel, it’s harder though so I try to keep it active. We’re doing all kinds of things from climbing things.
Toward the end of the interview just when you’ve had enough diet and fitness talk, Bridget asks Kendra if she’s still planning on getting married at the Playboy mansion. Kendra says yes, but then admits that she’s looking at other places with her fiance, Hank, and it sounds like the mansion is just one potential venue:
BM: Kendra, tell me about your wedding. What’s going on?
KW: I’m waiting for Hank to come down here when he’s done with his football and help me plan the wedding.
BM: It’s going to still be at the mansion, right?
KW: Yeah, we’re going to do our thing and walk it. We’re going to choose together, you know? We might do something in San Diego. We’re still thinking about it. He’s never really been to L.A. so he’s going to be with me and we’re going to walk the grounds. We’re going to walk to places and choose together where we’re going to get married. Do everything together. I’m bringing him to the mansion.
Bridget also discusses her future plans. She’s still living in the mansion and has a friendly relationship with Hef, but says it’s time for her to move on and that the “vibe is different” there with all the new young girls. Both Kendra and Bridget want to have children and joke about how they’ll continue to remain friends at that stage of their lives:
KW: I know, they’re so good! So are you still happy with Hef? Do you want kids someday? Those two are in the wrong.
BM: I’m still happy at the mansion, but I am moving on. I mean you and Holly are gone. There are all new girls and the vibe is definitely different. My career with the Travel Channel is definitely where I want to focus and so I feel like it’s time to move on. I’ve definitely started packing. My relationship with Hef is still really good and we talk all the time. We’re very open about it, but I feel like it’s time for me to start dating and to move on. And I definitely want kids some day so I feel like now is a good time to make the transition. Focus on the Travel Channel.
KW: We should all have kids at the same time.
BM: We could have a baby shower together!
KW: We’ll name our show The Kids Next Door.
BM: I like it.

Naveen Andrews of Lost had a dramatic courtroom battle yesterday with the mother of his three year old son, Naveen Joshua. Prior to the hearing both parents shared custody, but now Naveen has been awarded sole legal and physical custody of the child until another hearing next month. Apparently the boy’s mother, Elena Eustache, made wild allegations against Naveen and his girlfriend, actress Barbara Hershey, that hurt her case. She also left the county with the child against court order. The poor mom was sitting on the courtroom steps crying after the hearing while Naveen left holding their son.
The “Lost” star and Elena Eustache, the mother of three-year-old Naveen Joshua, were in L.A. County Superior Court, where a judge changed the custody order after Elena allegedly took the boy out of L.A. County without permission. Naveen also claimed Elena kept the boy from him.
The parents had joint custody, but today, with the help of disso-queen Laura Wasser, the order was modified so Naveen now has sole physical and legal custody pending a full hearing next month.
We’re told Elena has alleged Naveen’s girlfriend, Barbara Hershey, practices witchcraft and that Naveen and Hershey have poisoned the boy. In response, Wasser asked the judge to order Elena to undergo psychiatric testing.
Elena brought the boy to court. After the ruling, the bailiff took the boy from Elena and gave him to Naveen, who left the courthouse with Hershey.
Under the new order, the boy is allowed to travel to Hawaii where Naveen films “Lost”. He can be accompanied either by Naveen or Hershey.
After the hearing, Elena told TMZ, “I can’t believe celebrities and their money. They always get what they want.”

It surely helped Andrews’ case that he had such a high profile attorney and maybe the mother was right that it wouldn’t have went down that way if it was a more typical custody case. My heart kind of aches for the mom as I can’t imagine having my son taken away without the prospect of seeing him for a month. What’s more is that Andrews can even take the child to Hawaii with him while he’s working. We don’t know many details in this case, though, and just because the mom is crying hysterically and upset it doesn’t mean she deserves to continue to have custody or that she did the right thing with her son. Hopefully the judge was impartial and looked at the facts without being overly influenced by attorney Wasser or Naveen’s celebrity status.
