Stepping out for a shopping spree, Angelina Jolie took Zahara and Shiloh toy shopping in Toulon, France on Wednesday (September 23).
The “Wanted” beauty wore a long black dress as she escorted her little ones out for a fun-filled day, loading up with plenty of goodies to keep them occupied during the overseas stay.
As previously reported, Miss Jolie recently stated that she’s just like every other mom, with the only difference being her high-profile career.
Ang explained, “I am just a dedicated mother and really quite normal. I dedicate my free time to my United Nations work — I have a sincere interest in social issues.”
She continued, “At the same time, my main focus is on my children. I want to be with them for the big moments in their lives. We have birthdays all year round! It’s chaos but we do manage somehow — we just try to have a wonderful time. Now the older kids get involved in planning the birthdays for younger kids. It’s one of the greatest pleasures of life.”

The “Climb” songstress performed at the Staples Center for a large, screaming crowd which included Ashley Tisdale, Miranda Cosgrove and her “Last Song” co-star, Liam Hemsworth.
And speaking of Liam, an inside source told press that Miley and the Australian actor are officially dating and have been for more than three months.
Reportedly, the two stopped by a private party at Katsuya after the concert and didn’t try to hide their affection for one another as they were acting “lovey-dovey.”

Back in August, when Eat, Pray, Love was just about to start filming in New York, several prominent Hindu leaders took to the media to complain that the book - and now the movie - was in danger of showing a bastardized version of Hinduism in an attempt to rebrand the ancient religion as some trendy New Age crap. The leaders were doing some kind of pre-emtive strike against the movie, which at the time had yet to begin filming in India. My thoughts last month werethat if you found the book offensive to your religion, you would probably find the film offensive. The source material is what should be criticized, in my opinion, rather than the film.
Of course, I thought that before the film crew closed down a Hindu temple for filming right before Navratri. And before Julia Roberts hired a reported 350-person large security staff to protect her and her family. 350 security people? Seriously, Julia? Is she creating a human barricade around her hotel? The BBC has more:
Villagers in India have accused the Hollywood superstar, Julia Roberts, of interrupting one of their most important religious festivals.
They say that her huge film set in the town of Pataudi near Delhi has prevented them from celebrating the Navratri religious festival.
The Pretty Woman star used the Hari Mandir temple to shoot scenes of her new film, Eat, Pray, Love. Neither Ms Roberts nor the film makers has commented on the claims.
A spokeswoman for Sony Pictures Entertainment, which owns the production company making the film, told the BBC they did not want to say anything about the allegations.
Some locals are unhappy the actress is using the temple during the festival of Navratri, marked by Hindus through nine days of worship of the Goddess Durga.
Police say they are under strict orders to stop devotees from entering the temple while filming is under way because of security considerations.
The restrictions come at a sensitive time because a number of Hindu festivals take place in the autumn. One worshipper said: “It’s the holiest time of the year and we are being stopped from visiting our own temple. It’s outrageous.”
Eyebrows have also been raised at the scale of the security operation to guard the Hollywood star - some newspapers have described it as “presidential”.
Reports say she is also using a bullet proof car and a helicopter for protection.
Up until now, the star of Erin Brockovich and Notting Hill has been seen as one of the West’s most “Hindu-friendly” actors, even sporting a bindi spot during a visit to India earlier this year.
In Eat, Pray, Love, Ms Roberts plays a woman hoping to find herself in Hindu spirituality after experiencing a traumatic divorce. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Elizabeth Gilbert.

As much as I would love to give Julia a good thump for the closing of the Hindu temple, it?s not really her fault. I lay the blame at the producers who organized the film shoot at the temple during an important Hindu festival, and I blame whatever genius Hindu committee or organization for letting the film crew in. Someone had to give their permission, and that?s the person to blame. I will thump Julia for the 350-person security brigade. For goodness sake, she?s not shooting a film in the Northwest frontier, it?s just Delhi. Live a little, Julia. Mix with the locals for a day, it seriously won?t kill you.

An eyewitness told press, “They were there to hang out together and stayed for hours until well after midnight. Kevin only left Hayden’s side towards the end of the night when he wanted to chat with someone at another table.”
And it sure seems like Mr. Connolly (35) fits Hayden’s taste, as the 20-year-old actress told press she likes ‘em older than her. “I don’t date boys my own age. I’m looking for the right guy, I always said I want four kids — I love kids. I would love to be a mother and to have a family.”

Indulging her inner-fashion fanatic, Emma Watson was spotted at the Burburry Spring/Summer 2010 Show at Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground yesterday (September 22).
The “Harry Potter” actress rubbed shoulders with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Liv Tyler as she peeped the latest looks from the British designer label.
As for her endeavor into higher education, Emma told press that she’s meeting her challenges head on as a freshman at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
“The first week was a little bit tough - you know, I’m a new face in America, let alone the town where I’m studying, so it took a while for people to kind of get used to seeing me around.”
When asked about how she manages her time with work and school, Emma replied, “I don’t really know to be honest! I think you make time for things that you care about. You seem to make extra hours in the day for things you’re passionate about and I love everything that I do so it’s all worth it!”

Two defendants- a paramedic and a former Bahamas senator- allegedly tried to blackmail the Travolta family for $25 million not to release private information following the death of Jett, though both of them have pled not guilty.
According to a report, ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne and former Bahamas senator Pleasant Bridgewater await the decision of the nine-person Supreme Court jury as a total of 14 witnesses are called during the course of the trial.

In my opinion, the verdict is still out on Mischa Barton. The other day, I mentioned how I get slightly annoyed with Jennifer Garner?s too-sweet ?Gee Golly? act. I actually like Garner a lot - I tend to think she?s one of the most talented actresses working today, and I?ve always been interested in knowing what she?s like when she?s not putting on the wholesome act in interview after interview. But I?m pretty much alone in that - because Jennifer is some kind of patron saint to soccer moms and women who love to see pictures of little Violet?s dimples, and her loyal fan base likes the ?Gee Golly? thing. Which is fine. God bless. However, the act has taken a slightly hilarious turn.
People Magazine put up a rather glowing, wholesome, cloying article about Jennifer late Tuesday afternoon. Jennifer is interviewed as part of her promotion of The Invention of Lying. Guess what Jennifer spends most of the interview talking about? Being a mom, of course! She even says ?oh gosh? for those playing some kind of (wholesome) drinking game. Anyway, that?s not the problem. The problem comes when one of Jennifer?s producer friends, a woman named Lynda Obst, starts talking about how Jennifer is such an amazing mom - and Obst pours it a little thick: ?Most of the time that I did spend with [Jennifer] when it was off-set, Violet was cooking with her, or reading Jane Austen, or doing one of these remarkable things that Violet tends to do.” Violet is 3 years old - she?ll be 4 on December 1 of this year. The Invention of Lying filmed in late spring of 2008, back when Violet was 2. So 2-year-old Violet spent her time reading Jane Austen! How fancy!
Jennifer Garner may downplay her mom abilities, but she has no shortage of ideas about encouraging her kids to think creatively, a friend says.
“Every day, you feel like you are off-balance one way or another,” Garner, at Monday’s Hollywood premiere of her comedy The Invention of Lying, told PEOPLE about the secret to juggling career and motherhood. “You just take it one day at a time. Oh gosh, let me know when you figure that out. I don’t think anyone has it.”
Garner may know more about motherhood than she lets on, however.
“Most of the time that I did spend with her when it was off-set, Violet was cooking with her, or reading Jane Austen, or doing one of these remarkable things that Violet tends to do,” producer Lynda Obst told PEOPLE. “She encourages her kids to be independent. At the same time, kind of not television watchers. Readers. Thinkers. She is kind of old-fashioned. She is a very classic mom.”
And as a mom and grandmother herself, Obst says of Garner, “We talk about really fun things to do with our kids. I will talk about the marching band I just formed with my granddaughter. She will talk about interesting play things she is doing. We swap tips. We talk about theory of parenting. We talk about free play and not interfering with the kids when they?re being creative. She is a remarkable mother.”
Invention of Lying co-director Matthew Robinson, who shared helming duties with Gervais, says Garner kept mum ? pun intended ? about her pregnancy. She was in the early stages while filming.
“I think she didn’t want us babying her, no pun intended,” Robinson says. “Or worrying that we were pushing her too hard or working too long hours. She never told anybody. And it was a surprise to us when we found out a few months after we wrapped.”

Truly, Jennifer may have absolutely no control over how crazy Linda Obst made her sound. I don?t care if Violet is a little child-genius, she?s not reading Jane Austen at 2 years old. What?s next? ?Oh, don?t mind 9-month old Seraphina, she?s just translating The Iliad.? I wouldn?t even buy that Jennifer reads Jane Austen to Violet. Jane Austen would be very complicated for a kid that age, especially one of the heavier books, like Persuasion or Mansfield Park (sigh… I love Persuasion). Maybe Jennifer could start reading Emma to Violet in a few years, though. That?s a good starter.

“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar (who just changed her surname to Prinze) and her husband, actor Freddie Prinze Jr., are now the proud parents of a new baby girl. Little Charlotte Grace Prinze made her debut Sept. 19, according to the couple’s rep.
Sarah Michelle Prinze and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are parents, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
The couple “welcomed their daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze on Saturday, Sept. 19,” says a rep for the actress. “The family is over the moon.”
This is the first child for the couple, who revealed that they were expecting back in April.
Freddie Prinze Jr. will star on the upcoming season of 24. Sarah Michelle recently changed her last name from Gellar to Prinze.

It’s Wednesday so we’re being blessed with the covers of the upcoming weekly tabloids. OK! Magazine is making the spurious claim on this week’s cover that Jennifer Aniston is pregnant. This all seems to be based on a small “bump” she was sporting at the premiere of her new movie, Love Happens. The thing is, Aniston sometimes gets this very minor “pooch” when she’s gained a tiny bit of weight, and it doesn’t necessarily mean she’s pregnant. I can remember at least three separate instances when she gained 5 pounds (max) and outlets, including us, were quick to call her pregnant. This time, Fox News called her belly “sexy” in a kind of condescending way, and then tried to make it sound like they were complimenting her by declaring that “Real bodies are back in!”
OK Magazine takes that a step further by declaring that Aniston is pregnant. We have a Life and Style cover from 2006 and a Star Magazine cover from early 2008, below, that pretty much say the same thing using the same kind of photos. If this is somehow true, congratulations to Aniston, but I doubt that OK! has anything more to go on than some red carpet photos.
Jennifer Aniston has never hid the fact that her biological clock is a-ticking and who could blame her: She turned 40 in February and most of her Hollywood pals ? like Courteney Cox and Sheryl Crow ? are already mothers, a role she?s ready to embrace.
?I feel [motherhood is] in my future and I?m on the verge of it in some way,? the Love Happens star has said in recent months. ?I want to have children. That?s my plan.?
And at least one Aniston insiders tells OK! that becoming a parent has quickly become a high priority for the actress, who has scheduled several months off before starting her next project in 2010.
?Jen?s made no secret of the fact she wants to get pregnant,? says the source. ?Now, with nothing on her schedule for a while, she can relax and address the priorities that matter most ? and motherhood is right at the top of her list.
?She wants to have a baby soon,? adds the insider. ?And has set her heart on getting pregnant before her 41st birthday.?

OK! is really turning into Star Magazine lately. It’s like Life & Style and In Touch have more integrity. I found this really funny segment from The Soup making fun of the tabloid coverage of Jennifer Aniston’s love life. This made me laugh out loud several times. The “pregnancy” angle from OK! is just a small variation on the ceaseless broken record we’ve been hearing from the tabloids on Aniston for years. It isn’t even an original one. Note to Aniston: never hold your hand over your stomach - ever.

They’ve been hanging out in Boston where husband/father Tom Cruise is hard at work on his new film “Wichita,” and yesterday afternoon (September 22) Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri were spotted boarding an airplane at a nearby airport.
The “Dawson’s Creek” darling and her adorable little girl tried their best to ignore the paparazzi in the distance as they hopped out of a black SUV and onto a private plane.
Earlier in the day, the mother-daughter duo paid Cruise a visit on the movie set, where he’s teaming up with his “Vanilla Sky” costar Cameron Diaz for another sure-to-be-hit film.
The night before (September 21) TomKat and Suri were joined by Tom’s mother, sister, son Connor, and daughter Isabella for a big family dinner out in Bean Town.

Bringing a welcome addition to their lives, Sarah Michelle Gellar has given birth to her first child - a little girl - with husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
According to People magazine, the “Scooby Doo” co-star couple “welcomed their daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze on Saturday, Sept. 19.”
Ecstatic over the arrival of their baby, which the pair announced was on the way back in April, the couple’s rep simply tells, “The family is over the moon.”
Keeping fit up until the very last minute Sarah Michelle happened to be spotted out at Pilates class just one day prior to giving birth to baby Charlotte.

As for Khloe’s weekend nuptials with boyfriend of one-month, NBA star Lamar Odom, a source told press, “It will be a very detailed and classy affair.”
Not to be left out, sister Kim Kardashian recently shared her thoughts on Khloe’s man, telling People magazine, “Lamar is an amazing person, he’s gotten to know all of us and we’ve spent a lot of time with him. He’s so much fun, such a good guy.”

Showing off her stylish ways, Rihanna was spotted making her way around New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 22).
Wearing a fierce grey dress, the Barbadian beauty offered up a smile to paparazzi as she continues to stay in the Big Apple while working on a brand new album - for which she’s recruited Justin Timberlake and Chase & Status to serve as producers.
Talking about the project, Timberlake told Access Hollywood, “In my opinion, she’s got the world in the palm of her hand right now, based on her success with her last record. The stuff we’ve come up with in the studio, it’s the next step for her. It’s a little more grown up. It’s got some edge to it.”
Continuing to dish about the much-anticipated disc, Saul Milton of Chace & Status tells, “When she doesn’t like something she’ll let you know. When she likes something she’ll let you know as well. On one track she came up with some cool melodies and cool ideas, the kind of vibe she wanted. This album for her is just about what she likes and what she’s into and what she wants. If she’s not into the vibe she’ll be like, ‘Nope, I don’t think it’s for me.’”
While the followup to “Good Girl Gone Bad” is thought to be out early next year, some vendors are claiming a November 23, 2009 drop date.
