Looking to satisfy her growling tummy, Julianne Hough hit up Yojisan sushi restaurant in Beverly Hills last night (October 22).
The ?Safe Haven? stunner was joined by a friend as she exited the eatery and shielded her eyes from the flashbulbs of the paparazzi.
In a recent interview, Julianne confessed that due to her religious upbringing, she was in for quite a shock when she first visited her brother Derek Hough in London years ago.
"There were people smoking everywhere, and I was like, 'This isn't against the law?' I thought it was against the law. So smoking. I had never even touched a cigarette, or touched a pack of cigarettes."
?And there were different kinds of alcohol. I thought alcohol was just one thing, which is kind of nave. 'Wait, what? I didn't even know this existed! I didn't know there was such a thing as lingerie and sex stores and stuff like that. Not that I ever went into them, but in London, they're everywhere."

The mom-of-one was dressed in a rather mismatched ensemble for the day’s filming, teaming her top with a bulky black skirt that she seemed to struggle to keep down in the wind, black Ugg-style boots with studded buckle detail and a dark green fisherman’s hat.
The new film is being shot in LA, and follows Pierce Brosnan playing a university professor who finds a woman (Hayek) who forces him to reevaluate his life of hedonistic excess – after he gets her grad student stepsister pregnant.

Heading off for another busy day, Taylor Swift stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday (October 23).
Listening to her tunes on her walk, the "22" songstress wore yoga pants and a shirt that read "Take me to Paris" as she arrived at a local dance studio.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Swift is currently in the midst of filming the highly anticipated flick "The Giver."
Based on the classic bestseller, a young boy is chosen to learn about true pain and pleasure of the real world from an elderly man in a community without war, pain, suffering, differences and choices.
Taylor stars alongside Alexander Skarsgard and Katie Holmes in the film and its set to hit theaters in August 2014.

Singer Kelly Clarkson got married for the first time over the weekend, to a handsome divorcee named Brandon Blackstock. Kelly shared some beautiful photos of her wedding, which was a very small, intimate affair in Tennessee that she called an elopement. The couple married in Tennessee under a covered bridge, with just a few people in attendance including Blackstock’s children from his previous marriage. (Kelly has called Brandon’s 12 year-old daughter and 6 year-old son her kids, essentially, but that’s another story. I do wonder if their mother is still in their lives, as that would make a difference.)
Well now we now just how small Kelly’s wedding was, because she’s posted a brief wedding video. Everything looks so romantic and intimate, and you can tell tat she wasn’t kidding about eloping. There was hardly anyone there, which makes it all the more special that she’s sharing her wedding video with us. Kelly explained before the wedding that her work schedule and the level of stress involved made it hard to schedule a big wedding. Kelly and Brandon are planning on having a party later so friends and family can share in their happy moment.
People Magazine has the detail that the wedding was held at a place called Blackberry Farm. I checked out their website and they have entire houses with several bedrooms that guests can rent for complete privacy. It all looks so romantic, especially the fall country setting.
I hope this is the start of a lifetime of happiness for Kelly and Brandon. She seems to have waited until she found the right one, and now she’s got a whole little family.
I wonder if Kelly is changing her name professionally to “Blackstock.” The video refers to “Brandon and Kelly Blackstock,” but I’m assuming she’ll still go by “Clarkson” as she has a whole brand built up around it.

In the few times I?ve written about Lindsay Lohan over the past few months, I?ve noticed an interesting trend: apparently, there?s still an appetite for some people to believe that Lindsay has ?changed? and that I am ?being mean? when I say that she hasn?t changed at all, that she?s still a cracked out mess. I don?t really know what to say to those people ? apparently, LL gets unlimited chances to ?change? and her entire cracked-out, peasant-punching, jewelry-stealing, sketchy-escorting and universal grifting existence can be washed away by Oprah?s cameras. All I?ve had to do is bide my time, quite honestly. Lindsay was always going to mess up. It?s not that I?m rooting for her to fail, it?s just that I know it?s coming. And so it begins:
Where?s Oprah when you need her? Lindsay Lohan may need O?s guidance once again ? the recently rehabbed actress has become a regular at a downtown dive, partying into the wee hours with drunken pals. Last Monday, LiLo hit Sing Sing Karaoke bar with a gaggle of girlfriends on Avenue A in the East Village, where she proceeded to start a verbal fight and refused to leave at closing, planting herself at the bar until almost 6 a.m., multiple sources tell Confidenti@l.
Hanging with a male model type with a blond bob and a handful of gal pals, including one named Rush, the group (not LiLo herself) ordered a bottle of Jameson that they quickly polished off. Lohan was overheard saying she hadn?t had a drink.
?Lindsay was chain-smoking,? our tipster says. ?She walked in sober and she left looking tired.?
The night took a turn for the worse when a customer overheard LiLo get into a ?disturbance? with a staffer, as she begged to keep the bar open past closing and was acting ?insanely belligerent.?
When asked to leave, Lohan called the cops, claiming staffers had locked her in the private karaoke room. The NYPD showed up, but no one bothered to file a report.
When Lohan and the group finally left, staffers found their private karaoke room littered with trash and empty bottles.
Lohan, scared that news of her late-night antics would leak, had two pals return the next day to smooth things over with Sing Sing staff. One employee confirmed that Lohan, now living in SoHo, has become a regular at the joint. Noticeably absent was LiLo?s sobriety coach, Doug Caine. Caine may have moved on from the ?Liz and Dick? star because his $1,800-a-day treatment usually goes for 28-day or 60-day cycles.
An acknowledged alcoholic, Lohan has a lot to lose if she falls off the wagon. Her reality show with Oprah?s OWN network has been following her post-rehab recovery. She was paid a whopping $2 million to document her sobriety and O has publicly encouraged her to stay clean and seek help.
?She?s absolutely fine,? Lohan?s father, Michael, tells Confidenti@l. ?She?s always great, she?s up early every day and I?m happy that she?s sober.?
Lohan adds a message for LiLo?s friends who were drinking around her: ?If they care about her, they won?t drink in front of her.?
Following her big night, Lohan was in Los Angeles for a week of project meetings. She returned to New York Tuesday to hang out with her family.

Isn?t this what sober, recovering alcoholics love to do? They love to be sober and hang out with their very drunk friends at a private room in a karaoke bar until 6 am and they especially love to get really belligerent about keeping the bar open. You can choose to believe Lindsay was 100% sober the entire night and early morning ? I have no substantive proof that she wasn?t sober. But on circumstantial evidence alone, doesn?t this scream ?relapse??

Kaiser has already covered most of the pictures from last night’s Night of Stars event. Here’s the straggler of the bunch — Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs. Miley was on hand to present Marc with the Superstar Award, and she really dressed down for this event. No tongue either. Miley wore a sparkly green, backless halter dress that seemed pretty shapeless. I bet it was killing her to not be walking around with a front wedgie. Maybe she had one underneath for good measure. Miley does look good here. Amazingly enough, her theme of the evening wasn’t all, “Look at me!”
Despite reeling in her attention-seeking tendencies for the evening, Miley seems to be having a hard time. Miley uploaded a wistful photo to her Instagram that was captioned “And I’ve never felt so alone. It feels so scary getting old.” She’s 20! Miley quickly deleted the picture and caption, but the Mail got a screenshot. Poor Miley. It must be so difficult to declare yourself “the most famous woman in the world” and then have to endure five whole minutes when the world stops paying attention. Her Bangerz success must feel anticlimactic. Miley could never handle what Lady Gaga is going through right now. It would be meltdown city.

Here are some photos from last night?s 30th Annual Night Of Stars Presented By The Fashion Group International. I?m trying to remember if this event had a big A-list guest-list in years past?? Didn?t Gwyneth Paltrow attend this last year? I might be thinking of something else. Anyway, this year the big ?get? was Miley Cyrus, who Bedhead will discuss in a moment. I?m covering the rest of the ladies! Ladies like? Kate Upton, who is possibly wearing one of the least flattering ensembles I?ve ever seen on her. Sigh. You know I like Kate and I want good things for her, but I get the feeling that her personal style is kind of tacky and budget, right? Like, this is the sort of unflattering mess she chooses for herself. The dress is Azzedine Alaa ? very ?80s. If this had been a proper floor-length gown, it might have been a different story. But as is, Kate just needs to learn how to dress for her body.

Katy Perry’s abundant rack covers the November issue of W magazine to promote this week’s Prism release. The album will do very well, and most of us won’t understand why even it’s selling so well — even though “Roar” is growing in earworm status for all of us. W crowned Katy as “America’s biggest export” who “sings the language of sex and empowerment.” This is certainly a strange declaration about a pop star who recently stated how she’s “always getting kicked and rising from the ashes or something.”
Even though Katy is an empty vessel as a subject, this photoshoot is strangely mesmerizing. I don’t like sweaters (too itchy) or Pink (too stereotypical), but I kind of love how Katy is wearing this Pink sweater.
Not to mention this particular sweater. Katy looks so glamorous here. Let’s do some excerpts, shall we?
On the meaning of “Roar”: “I do love a good innuendo. Mom and Dad know what this song means, but just sing along, kids–you won’t know what these lyrics are about for another 10 years. This song is about sticking up for yourself. People talk about bullying, but you can be your own bully in some ways. You can be the person who is standing in the way of your success, and that was the case for me. I was having a great professional streak, but personally, I was really immature, so I had to balance those things out.”
“Roar” is about Rusty: “If you are not happy with something, you should change it. So I went to a lot of therapy, and finally, I am able to speak up for myself: You are going to hear me roar!”
Her favorite song ever: “‘Killer Queen,’ by Queen. I was 15. Of course, I had heard music before that, but nothing had really struck a chord with me until that song. I was hanging out with my friend Morgan in Santa Barbara, my hometown. We were over at her house–she was that friend, the one that you idolize and maybe even have a weird obsession-slash-crush on. We were standing on her bed, wearing her clothes–because her clothes were cooler–and she put on ‘Killer Queen.’ My world froze. It was a very cinematic feeling, and it opened up this lyrical world.”
Her own teenage style: “My style icons were Gwen Stefani, when she was in No Doubt, and then Shirley Manson in Garbage.”
Is she religious now? “I try and keep my connection with the G-O-D or with a power that’s bigger than me. It?s important–otherwise, you don?t have any kind of accountability. If you think, Hey, at the end of it all I am just going to be dust, or I have no soul or whatever, why not just be a menace to society? For me, accountability works.”
On her early record-contract days: “Yes. I was a little entitled, a little bratty. I was living in Beverly Hills, and a big famous producer had taken me under his wing. I was getting a monthly allowance–I had a Louis Vuitton key chain for my Jetta! I thought I was the bee?s knees. But it didn?t last: I got dropped from my record label. And the Jetta was impounded. And I couldn?t pay my bills. I suddenly heard no more often than yes. As cheesy as it sounds, the rejection built a lot of character in me. It takes strength to stick around in this business. And I have always been highly ambitious.”
Does she want to be a movie star? “Yes, but I hate mornings. So I told some executives who had asked me whether I wanted to act that if you want to start shooting at 11 a.m., then I?m your girl. Otherwise, I?m not interested. I live a rock-star kind of life where I don?t go to bed until 4 a.m. I?m very nocturnal. But I always say that if Ridley Scott wants to hire me for Blade Runner 2 to play Rachael, I am absolutely available.”
What movie makes her cry? “The Notebook. And Titanic. And I always cry on planes. My boyfriend [John Mayer] and I call them ‘deprivation tubes’: You have a glass of wine, and you?re watching a movie, and then, wahhhh.”
Who’s her crush? “I actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time, and it just so happens we fit together great.”
Did she like being married? “Of course. I really loved it. It was a new, fun, exciting journey. But I like how I am now, and I think all things happen for a reason.”

OMG, Katy actually named John Mayer as her crush in this interview. What a way to feed into the douche ego. Dare I say that Katy could do a lot better than John Mayer? Yeah I said it. Katy deserves a lot better than him, but it is excellent news that she doesn’t really want to be a movie star as previously reported.

Here are some new photos of Matt Damon out and about with his daughter Stella in LA. I?ve noticed something very strange lately ? the paparazzi are getting more and more candid photos of Matty D since he moved back to LA, buying a house just down the street from Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. CB and I were just theorizing if the same group of paparazzi who grab daily photos of Garner and her kids are the same paps getting photos of Matt and his girls. Probably, right?
What?s interesting about this situation is that Matty D has spent the past few years bragging (rather smugly!) about how lucky he was to ?fall in love with a civilian? and how the paps don?t care about him as much as they care about Garner-Affleck and Brangelina. In Matty?s Esquire interview, he discussed the paparazzi at length, claiming that he?s always been able to walk his kids to school with no pap drama. Matty bragged: ?But I don?t really give them anything? there?s not really any story to tell. They can try to stake me out, but they?re always going to get the same story?middle-aged married guy with four kids. So as long as that narrative doesn?t change too much, there?s no appetite for it.? Well, the paparazzi are getting interested in that. Because it?s always good business for the paps to get photos of a movie star with his kids. The industry has changed.
Also, in a weird turn of events, Matty D?s new movie (and potential Oscar-contender) has been pushed back. I?m telling you, this is a really weird, jam-packed awards season. According to Deadline, George Clooney?s The Monuments Men has been ?pushed to an unspecified date in early 2014. We?ve learned that the pic was delayed because visual effects could not be completed in time for the Sony film?s scheduled December 18 release date.? Yeah right. It?s much more likely that Clooney realized how crowded the awards season field is this year and decided to wait to release The Monuments Men until next year so it would be more an awards contender.

Were there any Latinos who inspired you growing up?
?I was really moved watching West Side Story as a young girl and seeing Puerto Ricans star in it. Even though it wasn?t the best depiction of us, they still have the passion and love that I relate to ? not to mention the singing and dancing! Rita Moreno became a hero to me.?
You?ve always been proud of your body. So no struggles with insecurity?
?Early on, my family really made me love who I was and what I looked like. My body was nothing out of the ordinary in my neighborhood. When I first started on television [as a Fly Girl on In Living Color], people, and even my own manager at the time, would tell me I had to make all of these changes. But you have to stand up and say, ?There?s nothing wrong with me or my shape or who I am, you?re the one with the problem!? And when you can really believe that, all of a sudden other people start believing too.?
The best part of being Latina?
?I love the family that I grew up in, the strength and passion and the heart that we bring to things and then the way I was raised ? the intense love we demonstrate.?
How do you do it all?
?One day somebody told me I had to perform in front of 35,000 people on the set of Selena. I didn?t know how to do it. I just said to myself: Don?t think about it. You can do this and you?ll be great. I walked out onto that stage. And then I did. I?ve been following that rule ever since.?

My 12-year-old daughter is still somewhat fascinated with the Disney Channel, so I am very familiar with Selena’s multi-year turn on “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Selena played a wise-cracking middle child in a family full of magical talents. The show lasted four seasons and was pretty good (by Disney standards) for half the run. Then producers started introducing vampires and werewolves, and all bets were off.
In the aftermath of her Disney run, Selena tried her hand at “mature” roles with Spring Breakers, but she still played the wholesome girl of the bunch. Unlike fellow Disney alum Miley Cyrus, Selena has yet to fully disrobe beyond a bikini. Selena might not be the most talented singer out there, but she does possess charisma and a good stage presence. She lipsynchs in concert, but so does everyone else. Selena talks here with a few sources about how she feels pressured to “be sexy” as a pop star:
On her wholesome image: “Everyday I get told I’m not sexy enough or I’m not cool enough or if I did this or if I did that, I would have people who love me.”
Would she take it off like Miley Cyrus? “Hey, I don’t judge people. But to each their own. I think everybody has a journey and you feel you have to love at the end of the day.”
On leaving the child-star label: “There is not really a formula. I don’t really know if I have fully made the transition yet. I feel like half the time I feel like I’m 15 and then I feel like I’m 21 then I feel like I’m 30 when I’m sitting at home by myself on a Friday night watching the same episode of Friends.”

It must be a ridiculous feeling to feel constantly compared with the likes of Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus. Gaga has been flashing booty on Twitter for her latest single, and Miley has been straddling a wrecking ball, and media outlets expect Selena to do the same. Thankfully, she is resisting. Girl may have had the bad judgment to date Justin Bieber, but she does still possess common sense. Of course the lack of interest in this Selena post will only reflect that Miley and Gaga are the “savvier” pop stars. Sad.

I have to give Natalie Portman some credit here: if it wasn?t for her presence, the photos from the Thor 2: The Dark Loki UK premiere might have been a total sausage party. While I think it?s lame that Marvel is barely interested in hiring women, at least the few Marvel women (Natalie, Kat Dennings, Scarlett Johansson) show up and try to make it a gender-diverse red carpet.
Now, that being said, I really dislike what Natalie is wearing. WTF is this? It?s Dior, obviously. I don?t even know what?s going on with Dior these days. The past few collections have been especially unflattering and budget-looking. If you didn?t know this was Dior, what would your fashion ID be on this look? That sweater is simple enough ? it could be J.Crew or Land?s End. The skirt is just awful though ? it?s like a Project Runway Fail. Like, the challenge was ?try to make a woman look like a baked potato? and this is what the amateur designer came up with. And don?t even get me started on that damn ponytail. WTF Natalie? Was this really your best style option?!
Also ? Natalie spoke to E! News about getting to slap both Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth. Apparently, she?s so small that they had to let her stand on a crate so she could reach up high enough to slap Chris. Chris makes it sound like Natalie?s too tiny to ever hurt him, but Tommy makes it sound like Natalie actually did hurt him. Tommy is so delicate.
I?m also including photos of Kat Dennings who was also at the premiere and OMG, her dress sucked too. The bodice was much too tight and it made her breasts look monolithic. Plus, that skirt thing is an absolute tragedy. Update: Kat’s dress is vintage Lanvin. Terrible.

Classing it up for a business meeting, Eva Mendes stepped out in New York City on Tuesday (October 22).
The "Training Day" star looked pretty in a light salmon blouse, navy blue skirt, and heels as she made her way inside.
Currently, the 39-year-old actress has a new clothing line out with New York & Company, which takes inspiration from thrift shops.
In an interview with The Edit, Eva explained, "I think it comes back to not having the means to buy what you wanted. I've never grown out of being that girl.''

Stepping out for another day of filming, Christian Bale showed up on the set of his new film "Exodus" in the desert of Tabernas in Almeria, Spain on Tuesday (October 22).
The "Dark Knight" star wore a blue robe and sandals as he got into character while enduring the hot temperatures.
Per the synopsis, "Exodus" is "a retelling of the story of Moses, from his near death as an infant to his adoption into the Egyptian royal family, his defiance of the Pharaoh and deliverance of the Hebrews from enslavement."
Along with Mr. Bale, Aaron Paul, Sigourney Weaver, and Joel Edgerton are set to appear in the film. "Exodus" is slated to hit theaters December 12, 2014.
