She has always been known as one of Hollywood?s best actresses, and on Wednesday (September 25), Sandra Bullock cemented her place as an A-lister during a ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Glammed up in an orchid print dress, the ?Blind Side? beauty immortalized her hands and footprints in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 49-year-old actress has shown no sign of slowing down career wise, as she is stars alongside George Clooney in the sci-fi drama ?Gravity,? which opens in theaters on October 4.
Sandra is also voicing a character in the animated ?Minions,? and is rumored to be reprising her role as Sarah in ?The Heat 2.?

They say as you get older you get wiser, and it looks like Jada Pinkett Smith is doing just that! On Wednesday (September 25), the wife of Will Smith took to her personal page to look back at what she has learned about herself over the years.
"Yesterday I turned one year older, and I reflected on where I have been and where I am now. What I learned about myself is this, when I was younger I was not a good problem solver, meaning I had a very difficult time dealing with problems in life. I had many addictions, of several kinds, to deal with my life issues, but today, at 42, I have my wisdom, my heart and my conscience as the only tools to overcome life's inevitable obstacles."
Also on her page, was "a letter to a dear friend" where she opened up about her take on the struggles of marriage and contemplating divorce. "For the past five years, I have been meeting with elders who have been married 25+ years to get understanding from many perspectives as to what marriage and love is all about."
Smith continued in her post: "Almost all the couples have said that at some point in their marriage they have stumbled upon inevitably difficult moments that called for a break ? My hope for you is this, that you consider taking the route that some of our elders have taken in giving your marriage some space and time before the drastic decision of divorce. Answers to big questions need time to find lasting truth vs the truth of the moment. After this process the answer may be the same ? but you may also find that spark that could save and rekindle your marriage."

I usually find Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks red carpet style a little dowdy — she always looks like she’s been strapped into her dress and flesh is always bulging and spilling out the neck and armpits — but that was not the case at the Emmys on Sunday. How many interviews has Mark Ruffalo given in support of Thanks for Sharing? I can?t find ANY. Mark didn?t come to last week?s premiere either, and he?s the top-billed actor of the film. Instead of getting some always-awesome Ruffalo quotes, we get Gwyneth Paltrow and her always-elite quotes. This interview is full of some interesting stuff though ? Goop sat down with Refinery29 (you can read the full piece here), and she was asked some rather blunt questions about infidelity, sex addiction and Mark Ruffalo. Here you go:
Refinery29: So, how was working with Mark Ruffalo?
Goop: ?A long time ago, Mark and I did a really classic movie together that was shockingly snubbed by the Oscars called A View From the Top. We?ve been friends for awhile, and working with him now was just as amazing as working with him then. We have good chemistry, and he?s very easy to work with. He?s a lovely man and an excellent actor. I love him.?
Your character in the movie has pet peeves, like not letting the food on her plate touch together. Do you have any personal pet peeves like that?
?No, as far as food goes, we?re a mixed food household. If the food isn?t touching on the plate, something?s wrong. I think her pet peeves were what made her so fascinating. They were an interesting manifestation of her control issues, and then subsequent eating disorder. But, as far as my personal pet peeves go, no.?
You?ve said before that you?re more interested in making films of this caliber rather than sci-fi fantasy films. Can you speak to that?
?Well, it?s not that I wasn?t interested in fantasy movies, it?s just that I often don?t get it. I?m just not into aliens or am not intelligent enough to appreciate sci-fi ? maybe I?m missing something. Don?t get me wrong, I loved doing Iron Man. Working with Robert Downey Jr. is an absolute blast! But, this kind of thing is a whole new approach, and I love the fact that this movie is about ?real? people. I think these kinds of films show off what we should all be doing: bumping up against things and getting to know other people.?
So, you?re more interested in humanizing stories then?
?If you?re looking for a metaphor, you?re always going to find them in the fantasy archetypes. But, I think a movie like this ? that is so intelligent and so original, it can really make an archetype out of the everyday. Again, I loved doing Iron Man; I love doing action movies, but I enjoy learning lessons through common-day stories. Acting becomes an extension of your own life at that point rather than a full-fledged escape into a character.?
Speaking to the movie, do you think you could you stay in a relationship with a sex addict?
?I?m an extremely open-minded person, so I think if it was something I knew I was getting myself into, I wouldn?t let it deter me from exploring the relationship.?
What about the majority of women? How do you think other women might handle it?
?I think it would be hard for me to be one of those wives who finds out there?s been something going on behind my back twenty years in. I?d imagine you?d begin to question your life. It would definitely make things harder, but I believe that if there?s authenticity and honesty right off the bat, things will be okay.?
Cheating and sex addiction are similar, but still very different. Could you stay with someone who cheated?
?I think that if the idea of being committed to someone is important to you, you begin to value certain parts of your social life over another. No couple is the same, and as such, every couple takes on different challenges. I would like to think that I would be forgiving and/or forgiven, but I can?t give an honest answer as I haven?t really experienced that.?

I?m kind of shocked that Gwyneth and her publicist let that last question go through. But that?s a good lesson for the younger actors ? even if you don?t like the question, answer it and see what happens. Because OMG!! Now, do I know FOR SURE that Chris Martin has cheated on Gwyneth? No, I don?t. But I think there?s a good possibility that he?s fooled around (with Kate Bosworth, if not more ladies). I think a lot of shady stuff happened in Chris and Goop?s marriage several years ago, ?the bad period? of their marriage that she?s referenced before. But to come out and say ?I can?t give an honest answer as I haven?t really experienced that?? She sounds like she?s in denial. And not just about Chris either ? didn?t Ben Affleck cheat on her too? And Goop might even have a literary side-piece too!

As CB mentioned last month, Leah Remini is appearing on this season of Dancing with the Stars. These are photos of her attending rehearsal. She looks good. So far, things are going well for Leah on the show. She received good marks during this second week, which saw former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson as the first cast member to get the boot. Everyone thought it would be Bill Nye the Science Guy, right? Well Keyshawn might be able to scare the hell out of Justin Bieber, but the man has no rhythm. Sad.
Leah is working it. During this week’s backstage footage, she talked a lot about her struggles in leaving Scientology. Leah doesn’t express any regrets, but she’s clearly struggling with the deprogramming process. I really feel for her. She was entrenched in the cult for so many years that it must be difficult to deal with losing a lot of friends. Plus former DWTS favorite Kirstie Alley hasn’t made things easy with the public mean girling. Leah spoke out about how the CO$ wants her to fail. The “church” has responded in a nasty fashion:
Leah Remini feels she has a lot to prove on Dancing With the Stars. During some of the rehearsal footage from Monday night’s episode, the King of Queens alum spoke with partner Tony Dovolani about why she was struggling to learn the samba — and why it was so important to her to get it right.
“I’m going through a personal and big change for me and my family,” the actress explained, referring to her recent split from Scientology. “The church is looking for me to fail so they can say to their parishioners, ‘See what happens when you leave the church?’ They’re waiting for me to fail.”
The Church of Scientology, for its part, gave a comment to Good Morning America on Tuesday, Sept. 24, saying: “We know this may come as a surprise to someone as self-absorbed as Ms. Remini, but we could care less if she wins or loses on Dancing With the Stars.”
In any case, DWTS has proven to be a good creative outlet for the actress. “It’s been a godsend,” she told Us Weekly backstage on Monday, Sept. 23. “The love and support that I’ve received from Tony, from the cast, from the crew, from friends I didn’t know I had? It offsets some of that [negative energy].”
Remini added that she feels stronger every day. “I’m going through the pain of losing friends of 30 years, but like I said, the show’s been a godsend,” she gushed. “I wake up, I’m happy, I have real friends, I have real love, I have real support, I have my family.”

Good Xenu. What kind of church actually issues statements like that against former parishioners? Clearly they care, or they wouldn’t have responded at all. I hope Leah wins this season if only to shove herself in their faces. Not that DWTS means anything in the grand scheme of an actor’s career. Leah gets plenty of work with or without a dance competition.

Allison Williams, one of the stars ofGirls, ran into her ex-boss Tina Fey before the Emmys. One of her first jobs was apparently Fey’s assistant.
Anyway, they must have been somewhat close because Fey spoke at her graduation from New Canaan Country School where she gave her class some life tips. “Allison said that Tina’s advice to her class was, ‘Wear a bra, don’t smoke,’” said a source.
Williams was then overheard saying, “But now I work onGirls where wardrobe doesn’t even let you wear a bra! You can’t find one anywhere on set.”

Since announcing her Las Vegas residency on ?Good Morning America? on September 17, ticket sales for Britney Spears' show at Planet Hollywood have been going fast.
The ?Baby One More Time? songstress will kick off her two year Britney Spears: Piece of Me show on December 27, and the VIP packages for the first sixteen shows sold out instantly.
Caesars chief marketing officer Tariq Shaukat said due to the demand, the next block of tickets may be released early.
"As we suspected, ticket demand for Britney Spears' headlining residency at Planet Hollywood has been extraordinary,? Mr. Shaukat shared. ?This is as strong an on-sale performance as we've seen for any of our iconic Las Vegas headliner shows."

Posing with the giant Mayonnaise-themed cake, the "Dawson's Creek" star wore a jean jacket and a pale blue dress as she joined celebrity chefs Tim Love, Aarn Snchez, and Mario Batali, along with NBA star Paul Pierce and Bravo's Andy Cohen.
Partnering with Feeding America to help the hungry, the event featured the world's longest picnic table overlooking the Hudson River.
Speaking about the afternoon, Katie told USA Today, "It's a wonderful thing. Donating a million meals ? I support things like this that help people. It's a beautiful day. I love Mario Batali. I ate at Babbo last night."
