Hurricane Maria has ripped through the Caribbean this week. Puerto Rico is reportedly without power completely, and it will likely take decades to recover. The hurricane – which is still a Category 3 – also hit Dominica and is today tearing through Turks and Caicos and the Dominican Republic. The devastation is so bad that first responders, media outlets and hurricane specialists can?t even get to the most devastated areas. Dozens of people have lost their lives and billions of dollars in damage has been done already. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by Maria, and by the monstrous hurricanes, storms and natural disasters that have been ripping through this part of the world in the past few months.
What can be said beyond all of that? It?s awful, I hope people donate money, time and whatever else to those in need. The focus should be on the people, the survivors, and the tragedies unfolding. But for Melissa Joan Hart, her first thought was for her poor vacation plans. MJH Instagrammed this message on Tuesday: ?And just like that, our family vacation is canceled. Such a bummer but we plan to hit the @nickresortpuntacana resort another time this year.? She deleted it but here it is:

The other day, a die-hard stan for Angelina Jolie accused me of being anti-Jolie. Truly! Like I haven?t spent years polishing my Team Jolie medals. I?ve been ride-or-die Team Jolie for years, and I?ve been following her career, her ups and downs, her personal life and humanitarian work for years. All that being said, my girl is not perfect. She is human, she makes mistakes, she f–ks it all up occassionally, and she?s not the best at everything. A shocking admission from me, I?m sure!
For years, Jolie was really good at media management – she rarely worked with a personal publicist, preferring to organize her own personal and professional media commitments herself (or working with a studio publicist). That worked for her for years. But we?re now in 2017, and she?s going through a bitter divorce, her health is not at 100% and her focus is (rightly) on her kids rather than media relations. Which is why I think she should actually hire a real publicist right now. Because she?s f–king it up. The Vanity Fair thing was a debacle which is currently haunting the press around her film. And she should know by now that of course she?s going to get questions about Brad, and she needs to have better answers:
When ABC?s Juju Chang delicately raised the subject of Angelina Jolie?s divorce during an interview for ?Nightline? last week, the actress/director lost her temper and refused to answer. But that footage never aired.
?It?s true she got testy,? one source said. Jolie only wanted to promote ?First They Killed My Father,? the movie she directed about the genocide in Cambodia.
?It?s hard to believe she didn?t know that question was coming,? a network veteran said. ?Chang was just doing her job.?
When Chang asked Jolie, 42, about her much-publicized health issues ? hypertension and Bell?s palsy ? Jolie was clearly annoyed.
?I?m fine right now. I?m fine right now,? Jolie said. ?My children are healthy. I?m healthy.?
Jolie had her six children ? led by her oldest, Maddox, 16, who was adopted from Cambodia ? on the red carpet for the movie?s premiere, along with the child actors who appeared in her passion project. A member of Team Brad scoffed, ?She uses her kids as props.?
Jolie?s reps could not be reached for comment.

A member of Team Brad ?scoffed? and said ?she uses HER kids as props.? Huh. Something tells me Brad would love to use HER kids as props, if only the kids actually wanted to spend time with him. As for Angelina getting ?testy? – I have no idea. It?s all about tone, but I could see her getting testy, or seeming pissed off about those questions. And yes, she should have known that she would get those questions. This is what I?m saying: she has a lot on her plate right now. Hire help. There are professional publicists who know how to manage this kind of sh-t.

Gwyneth Paltrow and ?dieting? go together like peanut butter and chocolate. As much as Gwyneth pretends to eat peasant food, she?s never really been a fan. She?s always been a rabid fad-dieter, and she?s constructed an entire Goop-industry and series of cookbooks around her f–ked up relationship with food. She?ll try any diet, especially if it comes wrapped up in fake science and whatever hokey holistic bulls–t you can sell her. She?s always been this way, for as long as she?s been famous. So it is surprising to hear that back when she was with Chris Martin, she ate ?nothing? according to her private chef at the time?
What’s it like to cook for Hollywood’s rich and famous? Celebrity chef Kate McAloon has an idea. In an interview with news.com.au, McAloon, 59, dished on what was it like to cook for former celebrity couples?including Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom and Courteney Cox and David Arquette.
Starting off with Paltrow and Martin, McAloon said she started working for the actress and Coldplay band member around the time Paltrow was filming Iron Man with Robert Downey Jr. The couple announced that they were separating (or “conscious uncoupling,” as they called it) in 2014; however the divorce wasn’t finalized until 2016. Apparently, the Goop leader and her ex had very lean diets.
“I had a brief from their assistants … they eat nothing,” she told news.com.au. “They are very strict. They avoided any sugars, anything sweet, no dairy, just more vegetables. When I got there, I was trying to stick to the brief,” she continued. “And I realized as I started adding more ingredients in, they said, ?Your food is getting better.’ That’s what happens when you eat more than grass.”
McAloon also worked for Kerr while she was still in a relationship with Pirates of the Caribbean actor Bloom?Kerr has since married Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel. It should come as no surprise that the supermodel and her ex had a healthy diet. “[Miranda and Orlando] both love my curries, light chicken or vegetarian curries with coconut, as well as quinoa, salmon and vegetables,” McAloon told the news outlet. “I do a chicken salad with a lot of fresh herbs and chia puddings for breakfast.”

McAloon worked for Chris and Gwyneth circa 2008 then and yeah, no surprise, they didn?t eat anything. I bet Gwyneth was SHOCKED and APPALLED when she learned that her private chef was, like, sneaking some carbs into their family meals. I truly don?t understand famous people or rich people – if you?re going to actually hire a private chef, why not let the chef do their job and make good food? If I had a private chef, I would demand Chicken Kiev and homemade mashed potatoes and brownies and amazing Caesar salads. Money is wasted on the rich.

Here are some photos from last night?s London premiere of Goodbye Christopher Robin, the true (or true-ish) story of A.A. Milne and how he created the world of Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, Piglet, Tigger and more. Hot Ginger Domhnall Gleeson plays Milne, a man haunted by war, who retreats to the country with his hot wife, played by Margot Robbie. They have a young son, Christopher Robin, and Milne and Christopher take walks and work together to create the world of Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Apparently, this is a pretty staid bio-pic of Milne, and the reviews are mostly mediocre from what I?ve seen – you can read some spoiler-heavy reviews here at Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. Here?s the trailer:
As for these photos, Margot Robbie is, by default, the star of the show because she?s the biggest name involved on this film. She wore an absolutely dreadful Brock Collection dress to the premiere. I mean, I sort of get it – she was aiming for something sweet and kid-friendly, because she knew she was going to be posing with a giant OG Pooh (#NotMyPoohBear). This was not the moment to wear something avant-garde, or like, black leather. But still, this dress comes off as much too sugary. Plus, the ?wet look? hair doesn?t go with anything (I think it was actually raining at the premiere though, so I give her a pass on that). It?s also worth noting that GCR could actually be Oscar-bait – it?s British, it?s a period drama, it?s a bio-pic, all of which the Academy loves. So? Margot Robbie could actually be all over the place during the Oscar season, for this film and I, Tonya.
I?m also including photos of fair ginger Domhnall, who is so pasty and bangable to me. Bonus photo of Pooh Bear looking like he?s an autoerotic asphyxiation kind of bear.
