She?s never in one place for very long, and last night (May 20) Kate Moss showed up at Heathrow International Airport in London, England.
The beautiful British supermodel looked a bit tuckered out in a tan jacket with black top and black trousers as she strolled into the terminal with a gal pal, prepared to catch an outbound flight.
In a recent interview, Moss (39) shared one of her secrets to slowing the process of aging, and it?s not some convoluted concoction.
Kate noted, ?I fill a sink with ice and cucumber. It tightens everything, making you look and feel awake. It?s a bit Joan Crawford but it works.?

Her career just keeps getting hotter, and Olivia Munn is featured in the June/July 2013 issue of Esquire magazine.
The ?Attack of the Show? starlet discussed the apparent paradox between her centerfold beauty and her second-to-none sense of humor.
Olivia explained, ?I believe it was [Zach] Galifianakis who was saying something like, ?People who are attractive can't be funny, because funny comes from pain.? And it's interesting, because in my life, I moved around a lot, and I had a really abusive stepfather. I have a great stepfather now, but my first stepfather was, for fourteen years, really horrible.?
?And you move around a lot and you're constantly the new kid, because you're a military family. Oklahoma, Utah, Japan, different parts of Japan ? and humor and being self-deprecating and sarcastic was the thing that could break ice in every situation. And so it's a very antiquated idea to think that you can't be pretty and smart and funny.?
As for the balance between sex symbol and bona fide thespian, Munn noted, ?It's interesting, because different people will tell me, ?Well, you're not, you shouldn't, you don't have to do this anymore.? But I don't think that there is anything wrong with it, and it actually bothers me, like when I was on ?The Daily Show? and there was this website that wanted to criticize me, saying, ?How could she be on the cover of Maxim and be on this smart show?? So I did the cover of Maxim again. Because, you know what? Don't you want for your own daughters to grow up and be smart and funny and beautiful and embrace their sexuality??

Guys, Damon Lindelof wants to apologize for putting in a random scene of Alice Eve in her underwear inStar Trek Into the Darkness. He says it was gratuitous.
I copped to the fact that we should have done a better job of not being gratuitous in our representation of a barely clothed actress.
We also had Kirk shirtless in underpants in both movies. Do not want to make light of something that some construe as mysogenistic.
What I’m saying is I hear you, I take responsibility and will be more mindful in the future.

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend River Viiperi were walking through Cannes on Friday when one female fan rushed up to Paris to try and take a selfie. That didn’t work out too well because Viiperi shoved her off. Twice. Not like a soft shove either, but a full stiff arm. Undeterred and still smiling, she kept trying to take a picture of herself with them. It was kind of unsettling.
At one point, Paris even got annoyed at a security guard who kept putting his hands on her back which messed with her dress. Viiperi didn’t shove him.
On one hand, the superfan kind of gave everyone the creeps and you know she’s somewhat unstable because she wants to take a picture with Paris. On the other, Paris Hilton’s boyfriend is a jackass. Everything sort of evens out in this case.

Hey, guys. If you couldn’t tell by the title or the little tags that say “interview,” I interviewed my future girlfriend Lucy Pinder. Of course, she doesn’t know it yet but we’ll get there. Oh, we will.
If you don’t know who Lucy Pinder is, you should be ashamed. Ashamed, I say. Luckily, I’m here to educate you.
Lucy Pinder is one of the most well-known UK Glamour models and who’s appeared both topless (check out a NSFW gallery here)and not-topless in The Sun, The Daily Star, Nuts, FHM, Maxim, et al. She’s also been in tv, commercials, videos and even has an advice column. According to CoEd, she’s the 3rd most popular glamour model in the UK. You can currently see her running through my dreams in the middle of the night.
Here, Lucy takes a few moments to answer some questions we shot over. She’s very effusive.
You’re my favorite glamour model and I’ve always wondered, has anyone ever told you you have an amazing pair of… eyes?
I bet you say that to all the girls ;D You are too kind, I do get quite a few comments about my….. Eyes……
Going back to the beginning. You were discovered on a beach. How did that go? Did a guy just come up to you and say, “Hey, your breasts look fantastic. Would you let me take pictures of them?”
Not quite! I was approached by a professional photographer Lee Earl and his female assistant who was freelancing taking general pictures of people on the beach enjoying the 2003 heat wave we had in the UK. He was very professional and showed me examples of his work in the paper and asked if I would mind being photographed.
I was really reluctant but my best friend Harriet egged me on! He took some snaps of me in the sea, with my bikini on, and said he thought I might do well in the glamour industry and that he’d be in touch if the newspaper liked my pictures. So nothing sleazy. It all sounds a bit odd but he was a genuine guy.
Why did it take you so many years to finally show your breasts in 2007? That seems like a gigantic tease.
Honestly, I never had plans to pursue a career in modeling before I was discovered, so when I started, the idea of topless modeling was quite overwhelming. I remember The Sun newspaper inviting me to come and do a topless shoot for Page 3 but I didn’t feel ready and The Daily Star newspaper wanted to contract me for non topless lingerie modeling so I chose not to do topless in the early stages, which then garnered unexpected attention.
My decision to do topless was purely financial, if I’m being honest, and by then I’d been in the industry for 3 years and thought it felt right to become a fully fledged Page 3 girl, nipples and all!
You run an advice column. What’s the weirdest question you’ve ever gotten? What was your answer?
I remember one where a guy said he had licked a girls cheek on a date in the cinema and wondered why she didn’t want to see him again! I really hope it was a made up one!
Do men hit on you all the time when you’re out or do they just stand there staring and hyperventilating into a bag?
Ha! I don’t get chatted up really, but I think that might have something to do with the fact I’m not really one for attracting attention. More a quiet night-in sort of girl.
That being said, what’s the fastest way to your heart?
Someone who has quiet confidence if that makes sense! A man who is comfortable and sure about who he is is far more attractive than someone trying to be flash or be something that they’re not. Rugged good looks help too, lol!
From the outside, you seem pretty perfect. Tell me why should I date you?
I think I’m the perfect girlfriend….. No joke….. Ha!
I know absolutely nothing about the UK. Is the night life there the same as in, say, LA?
No, it varies massively from town to town. I think from my experience, Americans are far more welcoming. The atmosphere seems more fun and relaxed.

Over here we have certain foods that everyone gets after the bars/clubs like ghetto dogs or carne asada fries? Is it the same over there? Is there one thing you look forward to eating after a night out?
My hangover prevention is tea and buttered toast when I get in from a night out. That and lots of water.
You’re in tons of magazines, videos, commercials, sometimes shows. Have you done most of what you’ve wanted to do? Is there something you want to do professionally that you haven’t done?
Gosh, there are loads of things but I’m quite relaxed and realistic about my work so I’m just happy to take it as it comes.
You’re going out with your girlfriends. How long does it take you to get ready? Does the night end with a topless pillow fight? Can you describe it in great detail?
Every girls night ends in a pillow fight …… Right?! I take about 1 hour on hair and make if I’m getting dolled up. I think the reality of us girls getting together to get ready is every man’s nightmare!

How do you stay in shape? Do you have to pamper your breasts? Like, do they get their own spa days where people put cucumbers on your nipples?
Haha! No! Maybe I should try that! I try to stay in shape going to the gym. The gym and doing yoga a couple of times a week. I also recently discovered Jillian Michaels DVDs. They are great for a quick tone up for us girls.
What do you like to do when you’re not modeling?
I’m currently obsessed with baking. My cakes are very good! My family put baking bans on me because I take them homemade cakes so much they’re fearing for their waistlines! I love yoga too.
Have you ever been bullied? If so, are you involved in any anti-bully causes?
I’ve never experienced bad bullying. I think pretty much everyone growing up had people who upset them or teased them. Children can be very cruel to each other, but I never had anything too severe. Modeling as a career we do get a lot of abuse on social media but it doesn’t get to me, it’s best to ignore it. I always think it says more about the sort of people doing it anyway. I don’t think anyone should let the opinions of anyone you don’t respect upset you.

Kicking off the week with a promotional appearance, but Bradley Cooper and Heidi Klum paid a visit to ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? last night (May 20).
The ?Hangover? hunk discussed his distaste for reading about himself on the internet, though he did have a few tasty morsels folks had written about him in the past.
Cooper shared, ?Here?s the thing about social media- you don?t even have to be a celebrity to read awful comments about yourself. Just hop on Facebook. And I gave up [reading about myself] about a month ago. But I used to go on there, but I do hold onto some nuggets- ?He?s all over the place but he?s mediocre at best. He?s the equivalent of eating lukewarm potato skins at TGI Fridays.??
Next, Heidi came out to talk about judging ?America?s Got Talent,? noting that it?s quite different from her ?Project Runway? gig.
?They?re just super nervous and took everything to go on the stage and do what they wanna do, and you have to tell them they?re not good. It?s hard.
Klum also managed to get Mr. Cooper to show off his yodeling skills after Leno played a video of a man dressed as an alien in lederhosen yodeling badly on ?AGT.?

Here are some new photos of Anne Hathaway in NYC. She was with a friend and they went shopping at Haute Hippie. Annie has been popping up in NYC often enough over the past few weeks since the Met Gala, but these are the first candid photos we?ve had of her since she changed her hair to this dramatic blonde. While I enjoyed the blonde on the Met Gala red carpet, I?m not so sure about it in everyday life.
I was kind of hoping Annie would just be blonde for the Met Gala and she would go back to a brunette shade soon after, but as the weeks go on? I guess we have to acknowledge that this is her new look. Perhaps she?s keeping the blonde for her part in Christopher Nolan?s new sci-fi film, Interstellar? Annie will be working with Jessica Chastain, Matthew McConaughey and Michael Caine, and Steven Spielberg is producing. Does bleach-blonde = futuristic sci-fi?
I hate to say it, but Anne needs to take some hair tips from Miley Cyrus ? dark roots will make her blonde look so much better and less washed-out. That?s my advice for Annie. And I actually think she?s taking my advice, so I hope she listen to this.

Olivia Munn is in the upcoming issue of Esquire, the one with Brad Pitt on the cover. They have a bunch of bikini and tank top photos of her, which look familiar, and a somewhat brief profile with her, which sounds familiar. Esquire doesn’t fawn over celebrities, so some of that may be coming through in this interview. I was left wondering what Munn was trying to prove. It sounds similar to what she’s tried to prove in the past, in fact she said this exact same thing a year and a half ago in an interview with Movieline. (She’s not being requoted here, she’s just making the same point in the same way.)
Overall you get the impression that Munn is a force of nature, that the writer found her exhausting, and that she’s letting Munn’s comments speak for themselves. At the beginning of the interview Munn fibbed a lot and talked nonsense, and then she got to the meat of what she wanted to say – that she’s pretty, smart and funny. It sounded like she’s quite far up her own ass, although she made some decent points in her narcissistic way. Here’s some of the interview, with more at the source:

Yeah, suck it, Galifianakis. By this point, the combination of things that make up Olivia Munn has won me over ? again. I manage one last question, something about the schizophrenic demands of the business and how or if she plans to reconcile the new Olivia Munn with the old, some shit like that. She gets quiet for a second.
“It’s interesting, because different people will tell me, ‘Well, you’re not, you shouldn’t, you don’t have to do this anymore.’ But I don’t think that there is anything wrong with it, and it actually bothers me, like when I was on The Daily Show and there was this Web site that wanted to criticize me, saying, How could she be on the cover of Maxim and be on this smart show? She did Maxim for the children! That bit about how she’s pretty, smart and funny, which she said in two different ways this time, was that prompted by anything except a burning need to enlighten her fans? Did anyone tell her she couldn’t be all those things except a random website and maybe Zach Galifinakis, who made a general comment that wasn’t directed at her? We get it, that’s the image she’s tried to cultivate for years. There’s a point in one’s career when you really shouldn’t spell out the media strategy you’ve been so obviously following. Of course we want our daughters to be pretty, smart and funny. We also want them to be humble and gracious, which are qualities Munn could work on cultivating. That’s sad about her step father being abusive. I didn’t mean to ignore that, I was just so mesmerized by everything else she was saying.

Here are some photos of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis in London on Sunday. I believe that they are still in London right now, and have been for about a week. Ashton and Mila are on some kind of European vacation, which is fine. The thing that bugs me is that Mila?s new film Blood Ties just premiered last night at the Cannes Film Festival, and Mila didn?t bother to show up. Maybe she was never scheduled to come or whatever, but seriously, why would it be a big deal for her to fly in for a night? Clive Owen did that! But Mila chose to stay in London with Ashton. And her parents. Because that?s where this relationship is ? they spend time with each other?s families.
Mila Kunis introduced boyfriend Ashton Kutcher to her parents over a play and dinner this weekend. On Saturday, the couple took her folks to ?Billy Elliott: The Musical? at the Victoria Palace in London. The following night, the four had dinner at Duck & Waffle ? the same restaurant where Kunis and Kutcher, who?s in a contentious divorce with Demi Moore, had a double date with Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend, US businessman Dave Clark, the weekend before.

Jessica was being singled out for her hard work to promote healthy lifestyles and wonderful lifestyle tips that are supposedly more grounded than Goop methods. Naturally, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just a staged ruse for Jessica to promote her newish book, The Honest Life, which is a tome full of “affordable” tips to build a “healthy non-toxic” lifestyle and is essentially a promotional tool in and of itself to promote The Honest Company. Jessica might be a lousy actress, but she sure is good at branding.
Meanwhile, Jessica is also pimping another area of her wonderful life. She and husband Cash Warren just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, and both of them are shouting it from the Tweettops. Jessica even Instagrammed some photo montages to celebrate the occasion. How romantic?

January Jones has a new New York Times profile ? you can read the whole thing here. It?s not very flattering towards her, but that doesn?t surprise me at all. I?ve been covering January?s interviews and shenanigans for years now, and I think that in real life, she?s a piece of work ? I?m saying that with a mix of judgment, bitchiness and admiration. If I have to give January credit for anything, it?s that she really doesn?t seem to give a crap about what any of us say about her. She gives cryptic, annoying, self-satisfied interviews. She openly fools around with married men, engaged men and otherwise ?taken? men. And she survives, probably because she refuses to apologize or engage the press or the gossip. It?s pretty smart? sort of. Anyway, here are some gems from the NYT piece:
She doesn?t engage with interviewers: ?I?m not trying to sell myself,? Ms. Jones said matter-of-factly. ?I wouldn?t know how.?
On Betty Draper-Francis: ?That was the fear for me, that we?d be in the third season, and you?d hate the character. She is really searching for something, but doesn?t know herself well enough to know what might make her happy,? she said. If Betty seems unmoored, ?that?s because she is a little girl, an orphan. She has a childlike emotional response to things. You have to treat that very, very tenderly.?

It?s amazing to me that January managed to get through a big interview with a non-celebrity media outlet and she didn?t get asked a single question about Liam Hemsworth and whether she is the reason Liam and Miley Cyrus are maybe/probably not engaged anymore. The NYT referenced it of course, but if January said one word about it, they didn?t include it. As for her OCD thing and her son?s second word being ?back? ? that?s just funny. I would like to imagine January loosens up and warms up around her son, but maybe not. Maybe she?s more like Betty Francis than we even realized.

Justin Timberlake is currently in Cannes to promote The Coen Brothers’ new movie, Inside Llewyn Davis. As Kaiser offhandedly suggested, JT probably thinks that he’s the star of the film, which is an interesting (and likely accurate) proposition because Pajiba’s Cannes review of the film doesn’t mention Justin Timberlake at all. Ouch.
Make no mistake though, Justin really wants to be an actor even though he’s made his multi-millions from music — record sales and (mostly) touring. Yet after JT made the douche move of retiring his most celebrated single, “Sexy Back,” in 2008, I’ve come to believe that he despises being a musician. When he started to try and use his “SNL” success to build a real acting career, I was interested to see if Hollywood would bite. And the bite did come, but it hasn’t stuck, much to Justin’s dismay. The guy really thought that The Social Network was his key to Oscar city. Now he’s somehow scored a role in a freaking Coen Brothers’ movie, and instead of really publicizing the movie, he’s whining about his tortured, unwitting life as a singer. Okay, so I’m exaggerating just a bit, but that’s how I’m seeing it. Let’s see if you agree:
Llewyn Davis is the first movie Timberlake has been in that’s featured him as a singer.
We talked about his career at the intimate gathering following the Llewyn black tie premiere. Timberlake is extremely thoughtful and very articulate on this subject. He said: “You know my music career hangs over me like a cloud.” Interesting. Justin worries that he still isn?t taken seriously as an actor because of the music. He?s really devoted to the acting career. In fact, I’d say in a way that his whole “20/20 Experience” album and tour is an acting exercise. Justin is playing a part- of a Rat Pack like suave singer with a back up band. And that?s just fine since the album is a monster hit and the tour should be, too.
He told me of the whole “Suit and Tie” success: “It’s a tribute” to soul music of the 70s with a Memphis feel. And while he’s mastered the R&B falsetto, it’s nice to hear him sing straightforwardly in “Llewyn Davis.” He, Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver perform a hilarious but seriously meant novelty song called “Please Mr. Kennedy” in the movie that should become a cult classic.
Coming up next for Justin, a movie role that could really break through for him: the late record exec Neil Bogart, whose Casablanca Records produced Donna Summer and KISS. Bogart was a mastermind who lived large in the 70s. Timberlake told me they’re about to choose a director, and he’s doing his research. This will entail a meeting with Gene Simmons?which, I hope, someone will film. That’s a movie in itself.

Do you see what I’m seeing? Poor little Justin is acting like he’s that character from the Li’l Abner comic strip — the one who constantly walks around with a cloud over his head. Now the Huffington Post is calling JT’s admission “a particularly introspective moment,” but I disagree. I think that Justin really sees himself as an unfortunate soul who must resort to writing substandard pop songs to finance his true existence of an artist who only wants to act. It’s JT against the world, and the world just won’t let him be great.

Here are some photos from last night?s Cannes Film Festival premiere of Blood Ties, Guillaume Canet?s new English-only (?) film. The film stars Mila Kunis, Clive Owen, Marion Cotillard, Zoe Saldana and many more. Unfortunately, Mila Kunis did not come to Cannes, and I have NO idea why. I just saw some photos of Mila and Ashton in London, so it?s not like it would have been crazy travel time. Anyway, let?s start with Zoe Saldana in this Valentino gown. I feel like? this could have been more striking if only the designer had made some more interesting edits. I?m not flat-out opposed to the grey-blue fabric, I just think it would have looked prettier? maybe as a strapless ball gown? Those white straps make it seem like Zoe was wearing a shell underneath her gown.
Here?s Marion Cotillard in Dior. It?s just? ugh. Marion loves a mullet dress. She loves to wear ugly, unconventional pieces and style them in unusual ways. Is this the worst thing ever? No. It?s not. But it?s also disappointing because she?s so beautiful and I would love to see her dress impeccably. This dress looks sloppy (but the styling is fab).
Milla Jovovich (she?s not in the film) was there. She wore Chanel. Again, not the best but not the worst.
Aishwarya Rai in an intricate gown by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The beading and button-front feel very Indian to me, and it?s very beautiful. I would have styled it with her hair back, though. With the hair down, everything just seems so heavy.
Bonus Clive Owen! Mm.

Here are some photos of Keanu Reeves in Cannes over the weekend (the light grey blazer) and at the Monday photocall for Man of Tai Chi (the dark blazer). I glanced through these photos yesterday and I thought to myself, ?Huh, I wonder why he looks so different??? It?s because Keanu has had a scruffy beard for most of the year! The beard hid whatever is happening to his chin(s). The beard covered up his weight gain, sort of.
So? Keanu gained weight. Which I feel fine about noting since we (as a society) always note when a woman gains weight and my personal motto is ?what?s good for goose is good for the gander.? Keanu is 48 years old and he?s finally getting some of the middle-age spread, either that or he just stopped working out and began a love affair with donuts. In an interview last year with GQ, Keanu was asked about aging and he said: ?My knees are well aware of it. Mortality is very different when you’re 20 to when you’re 50. It creeps in here and there, doesn’t it? You look out the f–king window and then you think about your eyes closing.” He?s so? Zen. I really mean that.
So, would you hit it? Are there enough people out there who look at these photos of Keanu and think, ?STFU, he just needs a few Pilates classes and of course I would hit it?? Because honestly, this isn?t as bad as it could be. Despite the recent weight gain (which I personally think is just ?more to love?), Keanu still looks really good and well-preserved. It?s his crazy gene mix, I think. And his Zen-like existence. I imagine him meditating on the donuts.
PS? The shaggy Mick Jagger hair isn?t helping either, right? He needs a real haircut.

A few weeks ago, we talked about Winona Ryder covering the May issue of Interview magazine (to promote her role in The Iceman) and looking devastatingly beautiful in the process. Now some interview excerpts have finally surfaced, and Winona covers several topics that she has not discussed before in a public forum.
Among the items of conversation are Winona’s thoughts on her 2001 shoplifting arrest (and the subsequent fallout) as well as her mixed feelings on the word “comeback.” In addition, Winona claims that she has never had any work done at all on her face. I am assuming that she is only referring to plastic surgery but might also be talking about Botox. This might be surprising (or even unbelievable) to some of you because Winona has always looked younger than her actual age. She’s now 41 years old, and she recently revealed that she was actually very psyched to turn 40, which is such a refreshing perspective not only for an actress but for anyone, really. In this interview Winona talks about being proud of the “traffic” on her forehead. Let’s do this:
She hasn’t had plastic surgery: “It’s funny, because I went straight from the Interview shoot to this premiere, and I still had on all the makeup, and my friend told me that some people were literally saying that I’d had work done — which, by the way, I?ve found is normal hygiene now on sets. I’m not trying to knock it, but, you know, I have a little bit of traffic now on my forehead — which I?m like very proud of actually — and it’s interesting how people just instinctively are like, ‘Oh, maybe you should get something done for that.’ And it’s like, ‘Really?’”
On aging in Hollywood: “You cannot please everyone. When you start out as a kid and then you have these great roles early on and even into your twenties, you’re doing movies like Reality Bites, people want you to stay the same, but then they kind of don’t. People don’t want you to get older, but then it’s like, ‘Why do you look so young?’”
On her early career: “Looking back — and this is all in retrospect — I did have a lot of success and a lot of great opportunities earlier in my career. But I did also have this thing that was sort of happening in my late twenties where, whether it was because of how I looked or because I started so young, even though I was the right age for things, people didn’t think that I was old enough.”
On her 2001 arrest for shoplifting: “I was starting to have some trouble before that. I think a lot of people think that that is what sort of sent me off in another direction, but I was actually starting to have some trouble a few years before. And then there were also a couple of movies that I was going to do, that were all set up, and then, at the last minute, they fell apart… And with what happened . . . I was living up in San Francisco and I really needed the time off, which ended up being a couple of years. In a weird way, it was almost like the best thing that could have happened because I?d never asked myself the question before of, ‘Is it okay if I’m not going to act? Is there anything else?’ because that was all that I really knew.”
On her “comeback”: “I have to admit, though, that every time I hear ‘comeback, blah, blah, blah,’ it’s kind of hard for me. I’m not trying to be super-sensitive at all, but there is a little bit of defensiveness because I do feel like I have contributed. Even if I’d just made Beetlejuice and Heathers, I put in work.”

I think Winona sounds very wise while reflecting upon her unfortunate run-in with the law in the form of shoplifting. To her, that incident may not have been the very beginning of her troubles, but it was effectively the wake-up call she needed to take some time out from Hollywood. So she went away for awhile and worked on herself, and she came back much stronger. Wino forever!

Brad Pitt covers the June/July issue of Esquire to promote World War Z. The interview was released last night and I’ll be covering it later today. The interview was done by Tom Junod around the beginning of April, when Angelina was in the midst of her multiple mastectomy and reconstruction surgeries. Brad didn?t give Junod any clue into what was going on. And so after Angelina?s announcement (one week ago today), Junod published an addendum (consider it a ?reimagining?) to his yet-to-released Esquire cover story. It?s just his basic thoughts on Brad and Angelina?s relationship and Brad talking about how much he loves his girl. It?s really nice:

When I met Brad Pitt the day after Easter, he was so tired that he was perhaps more reflective than usual. He had just finished a week of spring break with his family. He had camped out with them the night before on his property north of Santa Barbara, and he had woken up, he said, too early, as well as too wet. They had slept in tents, four of his six children, along with two of their friends, and then he had gotten all of them in a van and driven them down to LA.
?Angie too?? I asked.
?Yeah,? he said. ?Angie too.?
I told him that I?d met her a few years before, when I profiled her for Esquire. She was making a movie about the wife of the murdered journalist Daniel Pearl, and the thesis of my story was that while 9/11 was supposed to make us all better — a better country and a better people — it only worked for Angelina Jolie. The story has won a kind of immortality as ?The Worst Celebrity Profile Ever Written,? and when I told that to Angelina Jolie?s partner, he at first laughed and said that he hoped Esquire would use that as the title of the profile I was writing about him. Then he got serious. ?But you were right,? he said. ?You were right, you were right. Angie is….the best person…..?
I remembered meeting Angelina Jolie — how thin she was, how much steak she ate and wine she drank, and above all her utter self-possession. She answered every question I asked, but she was the kind of person who responded without ever simply reacting. Brad Pitt was different. He was, like a lot of men, stuck between family and work, and the day he came back to LA from spring break was the day he began the push to finish his summer zombie movie, World War Z. And so, although he was Brad Pitt, he was also a big guy, dressed in black, stained around the eyes by stress and exhaustion, who spoke leaning forward, bent at the waist, with his hands folded between his legs, and was in the habit of repeating himself between long pauses. ?I?m a crap interview,? he?d warned me, but when he began talking about his family, he said twice, ?I haven?t known life to be any happier,? and he said it in such a way that I never once thought to doubt him.
This was April 1. I didn?t know then what I know now — that a month earlier, his partner, Angelina Jolie, commenced the series of surgeries that would end, a month later, with her pre-emptive double mastectomy. Over the next few weeks, I talked to several of Pitt?s close friends. They must have known what the couple was enduring, but of course they never told me. One of them, however, called me back after our first interview. His name was Frank Pollaro, and he?d spoken about the furniture business he?d started with Brad Pitt, and about Pitt?s excellent eye. But he wanted to say something else, so he called Brad, and asked if he was at liberty to speak about Brad?s relationship with Angelina. He was, and so when he called back, he told me what he?d seen at Brad?s house — ?once I walked in and Angie was standing there and Zahara walked up and said, ?Daddy, you?re not going to start making out with Mommy again, are you?? And it?s like that. This is a guy who has tried not to do any sexy scenes with other women since he?s met Angelinia. He?s crazy about her, and she?s the same way about him. No matter how hard he?s working, if one of those kids runs by the window he?ll get out of his chair and give them a kiss. And I don?t think I?ve ever seen Angie without one of those children in her arms.?
It?s the nature of marriage — or, in the case Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, a committed relationship — to both invite and repel scrutiny. We have no idea how any two people make a life together, much less two people as professionally exhibitionistic and privately enigmatic as the two combined in the public mind as ?Brangelina.? But I will say this: a long time ago, Brad Pitt left college in Missouri to come to LA and act in movies. He insists that he wasn?t looking for stardom, only a sense of life and possibility larger than what he left behind. He insists that he was searching the chimera of Hollywood for something real. This morning, the mother of his children revealed in the New York Times that he was ?at the Pink Lotus Breast Center, where I was treated, for every minute of the surgeries.?
You do not have to be a celebrity, only a father and a man in love with a woman, to know that life doesn?t get any more real than that.

Does Junod sound like a fan-boy? Sure. But that doesn?t mean I didn?t enjoy this piece immensely. Junod infamously profiled Angelina several years ago ? he references that in this piece, and you can read the old story here. It?s not a particularly revealing interview for Angelina, but again, it sounds like it was written by a fan-boy. And why not? Why can?t a celebrity journalist admit that he or she believes that Brad and Angelina are in love and in it for the long haul? That despite all of the glitz and bulls?t that comes with their jobs, they actually managed to make something real and lasting together? *adjusts Brangeloonie tin foil hat*

In my mind, Robert Pattinson took one look at Kristen Stewart in that hideous Stella McCartney onesie at the Met Gala and he decided right then and there that they were over. As a matter of fact, that timeline might be somewhat on target ? Rob was in NYC during the Met Gala, but he didn?t go with Kristen. They allegedly met up later, and that was one of the last times they were out together. Kristen and Rob didn?t spend his birthday together and people are saying Kristen has been acting odd (stranger than usual) lately. So how did Robsten fall apart?
There have been recent signs of trouble in paradise for newly-split couple, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The exes, who were inseparable just weeks ago, grew distant since Pattinson returned from New York to Los Angeles on May 8.
“They again went from spending every second together, to spending more time apart at their separate houses,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Kristen has been in a terrible mood, and it was obvious that things were not great with Rob.”
A major sign pointing to the demise of their romance was the absence of Stewart, 23, on May 13, the date of Pattinson’s 27th birthday.
“It was very strange that they didn’t celebrate Rob’s birthday together,” the source says. “He had friends over at his house, but Kristen was not part of the celebration. For the past few days, they have not spent any time together.”
Reacting the same as when they last split after Stewart’s fling with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, the source says the actress once again “[hasn't left] her house for days, but [has] surrounded herself with friends 24/7.”

Us Weekly has something about Kristen’s “moods” too, hilariously. Most Twihards think People is Team Kristen (in that People gets leaks from KS’s people) and Us Weekly is Team Sparkles. Us Weekly’s source claims: “All this stuff came up [around his birthday] about the cheating, about how selfish she always is, about how moody she always is…I t was a lot of issues that came up.” The impression is that Rob is still dealing with how she cheated on him but Us Weekly’s source also concedes, “He is so torn . . . They could get back together.”
Hollywood Life has been all over the breakup too, to mixed results. HL is like Twihard Central, and just a short time before People Mag announced the split on Saturday night, HL had published a story about how Rob and Kristen would never breakup. So what does HL have to say now? Their sources claim: Kristen has been keeping busy post-split, trying to keep her mind off of Rob; they?re still living together in Kristen?s house and they?re taking care of their dogs; Kristen is frustrated and she feels like she has to ?prove? herself to Rob after she cheated on him. Which? yeah, she does. As for the question of whether they’re still living together – all of the non-HL sources seem to think that he’s in his house and she’s in her house. Life & Style even claimed that Rob moved his stuff out of her house on Sunday. And he took custody of the dogs.
Does anyone else think that there could have been more to that story that Kristen met up with Rupert Sanders in April? Everyone tried to fact-check that story, claiming that the Rupert look-alike was just a valet. But what if it was actually Rupert? What if Kristen is still fooling around? Epic.
Oh, and you know it?s bad news when your boyfriend balls his hands into a fist so he won?t have to hold hands with you.

I grew up in a small farming town outside of Abadiania, in Brazil.Wait, no, she didn’t. She was actually born in Oklahoma and raised on a military base in Japan, and she moved around a lot. But sometimes you let the art flow over you, so I’m not about to interrupt. She goes on to say that she was born in a portal to Narnia, and her education was completely self-taught, and that her brother, who is Barack Obama, likes to draw and isreally big into Call of Duty, so he’s playing that a lot.

Mixing business with pleasure, Justin Timberlake took Jessica Biel along to the Canal + TV event at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 20).
The "Sexyback" singer wore a white dress shirt, gray blazer, and black pants while his lovely wife donned a black, white, and orange, half-sleeve dress.
On Sunday, JT's movie "Inside Llewyn Davis," in which he plays a folk musician alongside Carey Mulligan, premiered at the festival.
During interviews, the 31-year-old pop star/actor shared what he does to relieve stress, saying, "I use everything as therapy. I play golf, write songs, punch pillows. We?ve all done it. You get so mad that you punch a wall and then you break your hand or something. It?s like the dumbest thing we do as humans."

Getting a break from the hustle and bustle of New York and Los Angeles, Jennifer Garner filmed "Draft Day" in Cleveland, Ohio on Monday (May 20).
The "Butter" star looked cute in her white sleeveless blouse, short black skirt, and black heels as she prepared for her scene with Denis Leary.
As Ben Affleck takes over daddy duties at home, the 40-year-old is working hard on the film about the Cleveland Browns football team manager who struggles to acquire the number one draft pick for his team.
Directed by Ivan Reitman, the movie also stars Kevin Costner, Tom Welling, Terry Crews, Frank Langella, and Sam Elliott.

Preparing to put on a series of spectacular Vegas shows, Britney Spears rehearsed at a dance studio in Thousand Oaks, California on Monday (May 20).
The "Scream & Shout" singer was dressed for a serious sweat session in a gray tank top, gray sweatpants, and no makeup.
Last week, the 31-year-old songstress' new tune off of the "Smurfs 2" soundtrack made its way onto the net.
Unfortunately, the leak was a bit premature, as the pop princess later clarified, "I heard an early demo of #OohLaLa smurfed its way onto the internet today :( The real version will be at radio and iTunes June 16th :)."
