Here is Kirsten rocking an autumnal olive-green leather dress on the red carpet for FX’s ‘Fargo’ premiere at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California.
On the second season of FX’s drama, which is set in 1979 Luverne, Minn., Dunst plays Peggy Blumquist, a hairdresser married to Ed (Friday Night Lights’ Jesse Plemons), who wants nothing more than to have a passel of kids with her and own the local butcher shop. Unfortunately, Peggy is not quite that content.

Here is Taylor Swift appearing to have a minor make-up mishap as she stepped out in New York City.
To make matters worse, the crisis could easily have been averted had the songstress took an extra second or two to check herself in the mirror.
Taylor looked fabulous in a black sweater, black jeans and boots, but when you zoomed in on her face, she clearly had a beauty blunder. The white powder under her eyes wasn?t blended in well enough with the rest of her makeup. But she looked picture perfect otherwise

Here is Selena Gomez stepping out into the light for this brand new cover of Billboard magazine.
On having Lupus: ?I was diagnosed with lupus, and I?ve been through chemotherapy. That?s what my break was really about. I could?ve had a stroke. I wanted so badly to say, ?You guys have no idea. I?m in chemotherapy. You?re a?holes. I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again.?

Her commitment to bold beauty is second to none, and Katy Perry is featured in the November 2015 issue of Glamour magazine wherein she discusses her keen eye for cosmetics.
The ?I Kissed a Girl? singer explains, ?I?m Katy Perry onstage. At home I?m Katheryn Hudson. I?ve created this cartoon look when performing, but offstage I don?t always have three hours to put it together. That?s when I?m just about lashes, shaping my brows, and more natural skin. I use CoverGirl mascara, and I like lash extensions too?they make you feel like Bambi. Then a nice bronzer and a good powder. I just learned how to shade a little bit so you slim your face down and take care of your undercarriage underneath your chin.
And when it comes to hair, ?I?m naturally the most boring dishwater squirrel brown. So I?ve been playing with colors since I was 15. I loved the grunge green, and shocking blue was fun. Colored hair is such a huge accessory that you don?t even need to add extra stuff.?

| Taylor Swift Covers GQ and Announces Hiatus From Music! | Added 9 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

She?s been on pretty much every magazine cover in the world by now, except GQ. But Taylor Swift is changing all of that with the November 2015 issue of the men?s magazine.
Writer Chuck Klosterman interviewed the ?I Knew You Were Trouble? songstress for the spread and it sounds like he was pretty impressed- ?If you don?t take Swift seriously, you don?t take contemporary music seriously...There?s simply no antecedent for this kind of career: a cross-genre, youth-oriented, critically acclaimed colossus based entirely on the intuitive songwriting merits of a single female artist. It?s as if mid-period Garth Brooks was also early Liz Phair, minus the hat and the swearing. As a phenomenon, it?s absolutely new.?
Meanwhile, Taylor told Britain?s NME magazine that she?ll step away from music once her current tour wraps in Australia this December- "I think I should take some time off. People might need a break from me. I'm going to hang out with friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don't know."

Taylor Swift covers the new issue of NME. What did they do to her eyes? Is this just a weird eyeshadow situation or did they Photoshop her eyes? Hm. Anyway, Taylor is in the middle of her 1989 world tour. The tour has been incredibly successful, just as her previous tours have been incredibly successful. She really does make crazy money these days, from actual music sales, from touring and from endorsements. So would it surprise you to learn that Taylor is actually thinking about taking a ?break? for a few years after her tour is done? Some highlights from NME:
When her tour is done in December: “I think I should take some time off. People might need a break from me. I’m going to hang out with friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don’t know.?
Everyone waiting for her to mess up: “If you let your anxiety get the better of you, like everybody’s waiting for you to really mess up, then you’ll be done. A lot of the time I call my mom and talk for a really long time, just to remind myself of all the things that are great and that matter.”
On the Nicki Minaj drama: “I don’t want to talk about it. But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone’s management, I get their number and I text them. It’s an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015.”
Finally burying the hatchet with Kanye West: “Me and Kanye are on such good terms now, six years later. It took a while… But I had to tell Beck this story earlier. I was at dinner with Kanye a week after the Grammys, he stops what he’s saying and he goes, ?What is this song? I need to listen to this every day.? I said, ?It’s Beck, it’s on an album called ‘Morning Phase’, I think you’ve heard of it?? We just burst out laughing. And he says, ?Hey, sometimes I’m wrong.?”
[From NME]
?People might need a break from me.? I see her point. While I could totally see her ?taking time off? after her tour ? and she should, she?s had a wild couple of years ? I just don?t see her really disappearing from the spotlight. I mean, she would probably still be in New York, getting pap?d regularly and of course there?s interest in her relationship with Calvin Harris. So even though we need a break from her, I doubt we?ll get it.
Speaking of people wanting Swifty to mess up, she stepped out in NYC last night and everyone?s talking about her terrible makeup. I?m not sure if this is a blending issue or if this is an issue with that hi-def makeup that so many women seem to have problems with.

| Cate Blanchett on Quentin Tarantino's shade: 'That's just his opinion. I guess.' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In August, Quentino Tarantino gave a rather epic interview to New York Magazine, which was some kind of preview of the fall and winter movies, including his film The Hateful Eight. It was a long-winded conversation about the industry, celebrities, the cycle of independent-versus-studio films and all of that. In the middle of one of QT?s monologues, he dropped in an insult towards Cate Blanchett. Here are his words in context:
The movies that used to be treated as independent movies, like the Sundance movies of the ?90s ? those are the movies that are up for Oscars now. Stuff like The Kids Are All Right and The Fighter. They?re the mid-budget movies now, they just have bigger stars and bigger budgets. They?re good, but I don?t know if they have the staying power that some of the movies of the ?90s and the ?70s did. I don?t know if we?re going to be talking about The Town or The Kids Are All Right or An Education 20 or 30 years from now. Notes on a Scandal is another one. Philomena. Half of these Cate Blanchett movies ? they?re all just like these arty things. I?m not saying they?re bad movies, but I don?t think most of them have a shelf life. But The Fighter or American Hustle ? those will be watched in 30 years.
[From QT?s NY Magazine interview]
While Notes on a Scandal is not something that can be watched over and over again, it?s an incredible movie and both Cate and Judi Dench give brilliant performances in it. It really wasn?t the film to name-check, you know? Anyway, Cate sat down with Vulture/New York Magazine to promote her movies, and of course they asked her about Tarantino?s words. I love her more for her response. Some highlights from the piece:
Whether Cate reads criticism of her performances: ?There?s a difference between being accountable to your audience and becoming obsessed with how you?re received, and with the latter, that way lies creative death. But being accountable to your audience is really important, and I think maybe that comes from years and years of doing theater: You can tell when you?re losing an audience, just as you can tell when they?re really with you and surfing the same wave ? which is thrilling. It?s taken me a long time to accept that you?re never going to quite have that same visceral understanding of your audience in the cinema. Initially, I thought I?d be able to get that from critics, but you can?t.?
Whether people criticize her to her face: ?Except if someone stops you in the supermarket! Sometimes people say, ?Oh, I?m really sorry, I don?t want to bother you,? but I’m like, ?No, I?m interested!? And they don?t always like my films. Sometimes they say, ?I didn?t like blah blah blah,? and I?m like, ?Okay, and ? ?? But you?ve got to know, and you probably feel the same way, that there are around five people you should really listen to, and you want them to tell you the hard sh-t in addition to, ?That was really good.? In the end, the praise is far more difficult to handle than the criticism. The criticism I know what to do with.?
On Tarantino?s criticism: ?Well, he?s entitled to his opinion?.It?s like horses for courses, not everyone?s gonna like what you do. Was it Louis Malle who said, ?It takes as much effort to make a bad film as it does to make a good film?? That?s just his opinion. I guess.?
[From Vulture]
I like that she gave the impression that she was aware of what Tarantino had said and had already shrugged it off. It?s not like she?s going to beef with him about his words when ultimately, QT was just talking out of his ass. She knows that. Plus, anyone who dismisses Cate?s films while in the same breath praises David O. Russell deserves to be shrugged off. Different strokes, etc.
